  • I bought Spirit, Legion, and Doctor with shards. I got my money out of them so I've just used them for the past 8 months to buy perks I already have from the shrine to help with the grinding

That and It's very likely the next DLC will be licensed again

  • I'd just like to see Hook Farmers get punished hard whether it was intentional or not. Time and time again I've been on a hook and yet despite running Kindred so the survivors can coordinate and see the killer. I've continually had babies (Often Megs/Jakes) just run up, unhook me, and then speed off as the killer instantly downs me and puts me right back up there because they waited until the bloody killer had returned to unhook me, only now I don't have 45 seconds of first hook phase up

I'm on my last. Hook Farming needs to be strongly discouraged and punished with a in-game mechanic

  • I'm so sick and tired of bloody corn maps

2-3 out of 5 games are corn whenever I play and I'm sick of it. Visually they look awful nothing like having 2.5 Corn stalks in your face 24/7 but they are also obnoxiously big making playing Trapper, Michael, Ghostface, Pig, or any of the other killers very irritating to play in

  • They should replace the healing animations with a survivor injecting the injured one with a medical syringe. Same thing with a self-care option

I mean you are the one who said gens should be done slower and that survivors now are much worse then before so I thought I could say the same for killers. Killers and survivors are both getting much saltier and toxic but the problem is that if you are the killer you can ruin the game for four people for example as playing insidious bubba's basement or when you are playing against nurse or spirit which both don't have a counter which is quite broken. When you are playing as survivor you can ruin the game for 1 person (maybe more if you farm survivors) . Btw I know a person who only plays insidious bubba's basement because he is so bad and this is an example of a killer crybaby who wants everything to be nerfed like ds and mom (which did not need a need but killers cried for it (an example of a killer crybaby).

The fact survivors are weaker because strong perks have been nerfed has no impact on generator speed. Generators get done FAR, FAR, too fast which severely hurts the weaker and slow game paced killers such as Trapper. The fact that on average Trapper can't put down 2-3 traps and maybe get a hit or down before 2 gens are done is absurd. The generator speed forces killers to run generator slow down perks such as Corrupt, Weasel, Ruin, Lullaby, and other perks which is honestly pretty darn boring and makes the game pace more stressful then fun

I do get where you are coming from though. Yes, Killers and bad survivors do have the ability to ruin the game for multiple people but survivors still have the ability to ruin games for the killer which is no different then how it is for survivors. Honestly it's why I'd like to see lame stuff such as Moris and Keys removed I want the game to be fun, long, balanced, and enjoyable for everyone. But good grief watching the gens just rush by while you play someone like Trapper is demoralizing

  • I'm glad I don't play the meta 3 killers

I don't have to deal with complaints or worry about people inevitably getting them nerfed

  • I mostly agree with the original list though I would put Wraith at the highest point of C tier at least. Even though he is add-on dependent he's actually not that bad. In-fact with the right add ons he can have a great deal of mobility, pressure, and strength. He's a very interesting character

I would also put Doctor in C-Tier as well. Yes, he may have been power creeped hard suffers from some bugs and just general bugs when it comes to his shock but he can be strong in quite a few areas

Aside from that can't really disagree with much

  • I really like this idea it requires the survivor focus and complete the objective and be rewarded at the end with an escape if they did so

That's a pretty cool idea, it'll be niche as most survivors are slave to the second chance meta so it'll be pretty cool to see

Though come to think of it, it'll probably be a meta perk on P3 Claudettes but they already have a billion keys stockpiled anyway

  • Bill: Do it Jake, cleanse the totem. Cast it into the void

Jake: "Incoherent mind, desiring only to stare at it instead"

    Bill: DESTROY IT!

    Jake: No

    Bill: JAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAKE!

  • Alert's a free one sided object of obsession with no downsides honestly one of the best perks in the game to me considering the sheer value of information you can get for free

  • Had a game where a bill with borrowed time literally didn't lift a single finger to save two people that were on a hook because I was "Patrolling" even though I left several times to go chase someone quite a ways away he let the obsession get sacrificed on first hook

At the end the Jane used BT to save him and he immediately ran to the exit gates and left

  • I think it's a pretty fair idea. You still got way too angry egotistical survivor players bragging about how their third party software MLGA lets them block all the bad killer players

    Make the system default

But then people like me who don't have one teachable (in my case, Left Behind) unlocked wouldn't get the rewards. Or if I haven't been keeping on top of things perfect, I might have characters that are missing perks from the last chapter or two.

I guess you could say it was

    Left Behind

  • The best way to do it would be to make a community event/quest to mark the phasing out of the BW system. The people that were there and did the quest get an exclusive cosmetic which ensures the cosmetic's status as a "legacy exclusive" and something cool to have without making it "Give me free stuff because I played a game I like"

  • I will never take it off the weak killers

BlueFang we all know that you are a very biased killer main. I see that you are again complaining about ds which in your opinion has been "buffed".

And so what if you escape because of deliverance and ds? I stopped using deliverance because it was the idea of the perk is that if you get a safe unhook and you get hooked and you haven't been hooked before you can unhook yourself but the Devs decided that they should speed up the game more and didn't even think about deliverance and this is another inconsistency because if you have not been hooked you should be able to unhook yourself and use deliverance. This is because of killer crybabies who thought that struggling while on the hook while being the last survivor was holding the game hostage.

Aye, you are right that I am a killer main, and I would be a fool to say my experiences as a killer don't factor into my thinking. But the difference is I can see and realize the bigger picture and know to avoid letting bias shape my views as much as possible, this is why I play survivor to help clear away any chances of such and also to refresh my knowledge of survivor gameplay, I admit my potential faction biases, but you on the other hand don't. Your choice of words such as "Killer cry-babies" and focusing entirely on getting benefits for survivors in your post tells me quite clearly you don't excercise such discipline and thinking

Add on that I have the right to complain about DS or any perk as much as I want, as long as I can defend why I do so with an actual argument. To complain with good reason is rarely bad it's when you don't have reasoning that it gets bad. Also I've never said DS was buffed.

    you dont.

    key = free escape.

nothing you can do to avoid that.

imo we should be able to grab survivors out of the hatch, if they used an item to open it... otherwise key is always going to be an guaranteed escape from the trial once the hatch has been spotted.

There is tale of a thing that can match and best the key

A thing that slayed the dark franklin at the peak of his power, that smote his ruin upon the hill-side and claimed dominion over the key's kind

To this day it has borne the title of, Franklin's Demise

@Peanits The ability to relock a perk after it has been unlocked would be enough of a quality of life adjustment. Left behind currently serves zero purpose but i had to unlock it again on Bill now that he is on PS4. We have so many killer and survivor perks that are useless it discourages people from prestiging or even playing new killers.

Agreed the current system is encouraging players to just pick one killer and stick with him because getting new perks for him will be much easier then anyone else

Seriously it's kind of absurd how I bought the plague dlc 3 weeks ago and I'm just NOW getting to use Infectious Fright and Corrupt on my Trapper. Almost enough to say I wasted my money considering how long it took

I really like this game but it's grinding system is incredibly boring and unitive for a game like this. Grinding in Dark Age Of Camelot = Good

Grinding in DBD = Obnoxious. End of story

I think you have problem reading if you somehow came into that conclusion that I enjoy these games.

Neither me or my friend (who is experienced but doesnt have enough time to rank up) enjoy playing vs baby killers, but matchmaking sucks.

I understand but your still running the meta builds, you can win these rank 20 games with no mither and self care lol

  • @PolarBear said:

Now that Deliverance is a perk though, it's a bit annoying that you can't unhook yourself if you're the last person alive. Wouldn't make much of a difference probably but you'd still get the 1500 extra points.

Except if they were hooked by the exit gate and also have decisive

And what is the point of this? All you are doing is bullying new players who will likely just say "You know what I didn't even like this game that much" when you go ahead and do that to them

You achieve nothing but being a prick. I understand you are queueing with a new player yourself but you don't need to go full strike force when you know you are going against rank 20s

  • I think the token system should be brought back with some stat changes to make it more interesting and progression based

0 Generators done: No stat increase

1 generator done: Pick up and drop speed increased to the max 21%. This stat is interesting because no other perk in the game affects it, this is a very situational stat that I don't see any problem with having be at max. It allows the killer to get some sense of use out of the perk

2 Generators done: 10% increase in breaking speeds and 5% increase in vaulting speed

3 Generators done: Breaking speed is increased to 15% and Vaulting increased to 10%

4 Generators done: Breaking speed is increased to 20% and vaulting to 15%

No generators left: Breaking speed increased to 30% and Vaulting to 20%

  • People still don't understand Freddy's mechanics at all

It's going to keep being a great few more weeks until people finally catch on. It took 2 weeks for players to learn snares were good it'll probably take a month before people realize "Why stay awake?" isn't a question

  • This is why survivors should be able to down and hook their team members

    IN THE BASEMENT

  • I'd like to rework Bear Traps and buff her current stats

Current mechanic is either annoying as survivor or overwhelmingly weak as Killer. The system relies too much on RNG though I'm not sure how to fix it

If we can't fix bear traps then her crouch and ambush needs a buff in comparison

  • I've said it before I'll say it again

NOED, Moris, Keys, and other such perks are all obnoxious and available to everyone. Remove them all or leave them all

  • Since making this thread and learning to use them, I've changed my mind and at the moment I don't feel as if the Snares need any buffs. They fill their role nicely, they can shut down big loops like the buses in Wrath maps, act as aura tracking, and bunch of other stuff

The only thing I feel should be changed is the add-ons of which the only really useful one is the Unicorn block which afflicts aura blindness (Effectively being a better Third Seal). The others would only really be good if you were running Blood-Hound, I'd like to see snare add-ons become a bit more varied and interesting

  • I like to run basement chest defender builds when I have a series of really unfun games or get tired of playing as killer or survivor and want to take a break

There are two types of players. Those that get the joke which I emphasize by quoting Davy Jones, Elder Scrolls Guard quotes or those that get really angry and mad that I jailed them for breaking into the keep, trying to steal from the vault of arcane knowledge, or destroy the great beacon that keeps the tide of darkness away from our lands

  • Great anti-tunnel perk and I've wish I had equipped in quite a few games

Pretty much loses it's purpose when survivors stop using it as such and learn to use it be essentially untouchable but of course "AnTi-TuNNeL perk bro"

Yeah sure is great not being able to sacrifice the Kate with an ultra red key, when I found her on the other side of the map because I misjudged her DS-Strike Timer and could only watch as she escapes through the hatch with her friend too

    Great stuff.

Really? I found the weapon and suit fit pretty well with nearly all of his other cosmetics. It's only the mask that never really fits

  • Oh look another DBD is dying thread

It is bigger surprise to see Freddy with Dream Snares than Freddy with Fake Pallets.

Not in my lobby, you'll be wishing I was using pallets when you get double exposed from Haunted and Make Your Choice and all your safe loops are filled with snares

  • Bubba and Clown are gunning for the weakest killer award in my opinion

Clown is a victim of his own power, he was designed to do one thing and he does it well. The problem is it's a bad thing, the game's design at the moment doesn't allow him to exist

So every single game you have multiple survivors with toolboxes with speed increase add ons and Prove Thyself and they're all working on the same gen? Because that's the only way you'd be able to complete a gen in 20 seconds. And that's if they literally spawned next to the gen and didn't even have to walk.

3 man spawns on generators are very, very, often when I play survivor and I haven't even used a shroud to guarantee somebody spawning with me, I'd say 3 out of 5 matches consistently

  • While we're talking about grabs

Can we please fix the buggy and dodgy grab detection? Too many times have I stood completely still, too many times have I seen the grab animation go only for it to result in a normal hit, if I had a dollar for every time it's happened I could rebuy the game and maybe a paragraph DLC too

It's not even a 50/50 chance it's more like 20% chance of actually working

  • I prefer Bamboozle, ending chases faster is very important on Wraith because he has no power to help him. Many players expect Spirit Fury on M1 killers and you'll only ever get it once each on solos, all survivors have to do is drop a pallet early and they've wasted two perks of yours. They can't take away your bamboozle

Oh also Here's a really fun build I use for Wraith if you are interested

Add-Ons: Serpent instantly decloaks you when you destroy a pallet or kick a generator combine it with Green/Purple Shadow Dance which increases the speed at which you do them. At this point you become the ultimate devourer of pallets and a hard counter to any flashlight user

Perks: Weasel, Infectious Fright/Make Your Choice, BBQ, Haunted Grounds/Save The Best For Last

    Go absolutely nuts on people

you're right the thing is most people are not high ranks so the devs have to make changes around rank 20's.

    Thread_Necromancy_3038.jpg

  • I wish I got devour hope when it was on the shrine months ago, it might have been fun to use. Even though I've completely sworn off Hex perks and refuse to buy Hag because of it

  • @drimmalor said:

Aura reading perks are a blessing and a curse 😅

Your not the only one cursed with auras

  • This has been in the game for forever

Of course now that a youtuber has made note of it, it's suddenly a big deal. If you don't want to get grabbed then have someone body-block for you or you know

Don't unhook when he's in treatment mode

  • @Cymer said:

Don't bring real life logic into the game. If a pallet is dropped on me, I simply could stop it with one hand. They are no indestructible and unstoppable forces.

As a killer I would take it and smack you with it for trying something that stupid on me.

Literally as a killer you could just knock it sideways while the survivor is trying to loop you around it

They could have picked any object in the world that would have made sense. it could have been rusty heavy spiky metal but no

They choose a bloody wooden PALLET

  • This game has made us think of pallets as Godly

This game has made us say "How dare you waste the God Pallet"

WP Bhvr WP, no one in history has said or thought of such a thing before you all came to be

  • Tunneler!: If the killer gets in a chase with you within 2 minutes after a previous chase ended activate a super fire cracker that will blind the killer for 20 seconds and lower his vision quality by 50% for 20 seconds

"Now you know what tunnel vision is like"

  • Imagine if in Lord Of The Rings instead of using magic to stop the balrog from crossing the bridge

Gandalf just used a double pallet spawn to completely loop the balrog and when the balrog caught up hejust did a 360 loop which would cause the balrog to fall straight off because he lunged instead of just hitting like he should have

Wouldn't that be so much better?

  • Everything Ace has with Plunder's

You can become a Frengei and profit off your team's loss as you get the hatch

  • I was hoping they would fall up on the Hallowed Blight lore but they've pretty much done nothing with it

I have a feeling that if the character featured in the lore does become a playable killer his gimmick will probably be that he can destroy pallets super fast

  • @Detective_Jonathan said:

I used to go by saying that there would be SuitCases and Sacks in the realm where they would get their clothing. One thing to support this statement would be the 80's Suitcase and the BloodStained Sack DLC, which for those who were active in the games early days would know what i am talking about.

During this time any clothes found the survivors were probably found during the trial, much like how items are found. But as the power of The Entity grew, she then created another sub-realm for them to go into and find what they were looking for. Of course giving her some kind of payment. What we look at in the store is not what the survivors and killers see, what they see is most likely Suitcases and Sacks stacked high on end for them to look through and wear.

At least, that is how i think it all comes together.

Meanwhile when the Doctor goes there he can only get and only sees ugly sticks piled on for miles in every direction
