I stopped about 2 months after Clown came out.
Must have been the fumes from his weird brew bottles. Sent you on an trip that turned you into Killer. ๐คช

I personally see a hardcore facecamp as victory: I outplayed the killer so often and wasted his time so much that I basically destroyed the players mind behind the screen. It's a victory for me lol
Same here! It's a psychological victory.

Seriously though, Killers do get listened to. We got MoM nerfed into orbit (thank goodness) - DS reworked (again, it was BS), and will likely get Insta-heals and Keys changed once the devs finally agree to remove/alter how the Ebony Mori offering works.
The game is always changing, and Pallet Loops as we know them will hopefully decrease in numbers (spawn points) or be completely demolished. Both Killers and Survivors need to be ready to adapt to these new planned changes sooner rather than later and I have an inkling that Nurse was giving them a few headaches in the design process.
Hoping I'm right on this one.

Survivor main here, I enjoyed to play against Nurse and play as her. Only addon rework though, don't worry :)
They are 'slightly' touching her base kit actually. @Peanits confirmed as much in the thread posted earlier.

Get ready to bring out the builds that Survivors consider "unfun". Impossible Skill Checks Doc is my favourite (as I have stated a few times), and is extremely fun to play against Survivors (especially Toxic or SWF players). Silent protesting by playing the game. ๐

You played against Plague and you got a long term illness? ARIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII

In all honesty, I don't care whether it happens or not, as I don't care about rank. Just surprised that some Killers still think it is a good "strategy".

Very true. I got camped within breathing distance of the Killer in my last two camping sessions haha.

Yes, if the survivors are awake they will not see the fake pallets.

You play on PC? I'm sure I've played you recently with that build. If so, nice job as Pig - always feel more conscious of the environment against than when going against GF as I feel that she is more of a threat with her Stealth.

If you had to use two of their perks, you would likely just see more of the same survivors. I'm guessing you'd see a lot of Megs since you would be able to put Sprint Burst and Adrenaline into those slots, leaving you with two free choices (basically what a lot of people run already). Meanwhile characters like Quentin would fade away entirely.
Ideally you want a variety of characters. If everyone's playing the same one, it starts to get difficult to keep track of who's who, which one was just unhooked, etc.

"Doctor needs buffs badly, he's so bad"
No, you are bad at playing him. The same held true for Freddy, he was only bad for noobs who had no idea how to use him properly.
Doctor needs some QoL changes at best, more range and a shorter charge time.
Thank you! I don't want anything to really change for Doc. I honestly enjoy playing him and is very strong when you shut down the loops/force early pallet drops due to Shock Therapy. I agree that QoL changes are all that is truly needed for him.

Meanwhile I'm not on drugs or anything lol, just telling you what the mental state of a killer main is at this point

It's not under the control of survivors. When the doctor has some good placed gens and starts to protect them from beginning there is nothing u can do about. Oh hopefully this bullshit gets stomped under the ground, most unfun thing and only gets abused non skilled player

you have doc in your profile so i'm going on a assumption and saying you are a doc main, so you have prob never gone against it. It's horrid and unfair, plus the doc using it can just camp those 3 gens at the start, and just wait. It's almost taking the game hostage with how horribly strong the build is.
I play both sides, so judging someone based on their pfp is quite a silly thing to comment on. I have gone against it (yesterday in fact), and I had no issues playing the game and I got out. I've played him enough to know how to force him out of a hole with juicy bait when needed. Practice under pressure skill checks, get yourself in a KYF scenario and keep practicing until you get better. I enjoy the challenge.

Oh please no, hopefully they destroy the 3 gen hostage doctor build. Most unfun thing to go against.
Survivors fault they don't space out the gens for it mind. It's the most fun thing for me to play as.

As long as the Impossible Skill Checks build is kept roughly the same for Doc (as I'm guessing that his addons will be reworked to some degree), I'll be happy. ๐

People are once again forgetting about Rule 5872 of the Survivors Rulebook for Killers! Of course Survivors don't have to do bones, otherwise how could they complain about NOED!?
-
https://youtu.be/mz296Izw-S8?t=446
So under Rule 5871 of the Survivors Rulebook for Killers, what rule am I confessing to for use of specific add-ons/build for achieving my objective in wiping out the survivors? Or do I just use the reason of 'this isn't fun for the Survivors so I apologise for killing you all'.
Seriously though, I couldn't care less.

I don't think slandering all Solo Survivors is gonna score you many points.

@Peanits ah well, it was worth a try to ask for again haha! Thanks for the response! ๐

@YubelTheWitch At the start of the trial, intentionally find the killer and start chases. Make sure to get them to keep their attention on you and not your teammates. If the killers are as "sweaty" as you are advising, then you should be getting caught relatively soon-ish after the chase starts. Don't make it obvious that you want the depips, but rather play yourself off as a 'potato' or a 'bad player' by making intentional decisions that only affect yourself rather than your team.
By being the one who does the chases, you are taking the pressure away from the teammates that don't want to de-rank and therefore puts you in the driving seat of how you yourself want to perform (as you don't want to score many points in any emblem category to rank up, e.g. gens - but with the exception of the Chase category), and allows them to do gens and score points in the long run.
I'd advise giving this a try, it usually works quite well if you want to hang around the low ranks a while.
-
I slug the guy who got unhooked, then chase and Mori the other guy because I've likely already hooked them - giving the slugged guy time to be helped back up. Screw you Survivors who farm hooked teammates, you guys are horrid and make me feel justified in giving out the Moris.
-
I believe that they should stay in the game for as long as Insta-heals and Keys are in the game for Survivors.
-
It's because when BHVR struck the deal for obtaining the rights to Ghost Face, they obtained them from Fun World Ltd directly who owned the rights to both the masks and the robes. In fact, I'm pretty sure Fun World own the entire catalog of them. That's why BHVR were able to make this version of Ghost Face 'their own' so to speak. I'm still annoyed we haven't got WAZZUP face yet in all honesty.

Have you all been looking into the issue with pixelated graphics ever since the 3.0.0 patch? This has been going on ever since that patch where after a few matches on low settings the resolution doesn't hold up and all textures are blurry.
Even DbD wants to play Minecraft right now lol.

The funniest thing that happened to me when I played Nurse, (and I'm dreadful at her), was after my very first blink in the trial - someone DC'd. Now that is hardcore.

French streamer stepped in one of my traps that didn't proc the first time they were near it.

Billy, Spirit, Nurse if you want to get into the habit of competing for high ranks, play everyone else if you couldn't care less.

Except some people make it a point to follow behind Trapper just to disarm all of his traps. I do this quite often, because he's useless with no traps.
Wait till you get a competent SWF squad that actually calls out trap locations.
Likewise, wait till you get a competent SWF squad that actually loops and stares at GF behind walls. Or don't if you want to keep Rank 1.

The pipping system for both Survivor and Killer is not is a great spot right now. They are counter-intuitive to the efficiency in which you complete the trial. However, Killer pipping I feel to be much harder than Survivor as the Victory Cube no longer exists (3-4k is a MUST).

I also have another question. Are you going to remove miss penalty? It's so unnecessary, nobody misses in Feral Frenzy. I can show you a clip where autoaim has aimed for me and missed. It didn't affect me that much because i had already lost the game, but imagine if this happens and Legion suddenly loses all pressure because of a random lag/autoaim error
"ARGHHHHHHHH" ~ Frank.
Says it all lol.

One "bug" that wasn't game breaking and stopped people having to overcome ruptured eardrums to hear breathing/wimpering. It is an excellent "bug".
-
Lore-wise I think it'd be awesome to see the other members present during a trial, balancing that in a new game mode? A lot harder.
-
It's sad, I really like The Legion as they are the only Killer you can never be called 'tunneler' with. If you have to tunnel with them, something went horribly wrong during the trial.
Unfortunately, it feels like since the inital double-blade mend exploit got patched out - more and more Survivors have been dc'ing regardless of the nerfs to Legion (and was what believed to be causing the inital dc epidemic).
Sadly, now we not only have a very boring AND unviable Killer, we are also still suffering from the DC problem today. I do feel sorry for Legion a bit as they kind of became a scapegoat in what is a much bigger issue.
Surely they need to be given a buff of some kind?
-
At least with Trapper against the Red Ranks my Bear Traps couldn't be sniped by hiding behind a wall/LoS and looking at it. Maybe that's how I've been able to actually do something with old Trapsy compared to old 'stealth-boi' GhostFace.
-
Out of all the Killers in the game, you can only pick four/five tops that are actually viable and you have to play them every single time to have a chance to pip to higher ranks, usually using a combo of BBQ + Ruin, or something like Enduring + Spirit Fury at least. Now THAT is not fun.
-
Never mind, I've only just seen the ones posted just minutes ago hahahahahaha!
-
Why haven't I seen any suggestions for Shirtless Myers on this particular thread yet? I'm very disappointed.
-
@weirdkid5 So you're telling me, that with your advice on how to play GF 'correctly', that we can performed consistently well (i.e. pip) by playing M1 Killer the entire trial.
Why bother playing him at all? You've even just posted the amount of things you need to do in order to make him 'tick' but by the time you do that 2/3 Gens have already popped unless you're playing Potatoes (i.e. not Purple/Red ranks).
If you can't use the one-shot then why is it even in his kit, it just seems very silly to have a feature that you can literally never use because 'you aren't supposed to do that'.
Sorry if I still believe GF is absolute garbage, and so will stick to the usual Billy, Nurse, Spirit Huntress lineup as they are actually viable.
-
Tbh one of reasons I got GF was because I believed he would actually encourage stealth to one-shot gameplay. I'm likely just not able to play him 'as intended', however I do apologise if I think that he is actually trash for forcing an unnecessary skill floor in order to pick him up (like Nurse was easier for me to learn).
In fact, for the same effect as I had hoped for when GF first came out, I started to play Huntress and used Iridescent Heads instead (loads more fun btw!). Who wants to play another M1 Killer anyways?
Why should a Killer mechanic be left in the hands of the Survivors in order for it to pan out correctly?
