swf teams tend to stick with those who play in a similar way. Maybe you had the sweat perks and he was running slippery meat and pebble but let's face it, probably not

As for who wouldn't DC in that situation...most people wouldn't?

I’m not gonna respond to your perks comment because they are there for people to use just how perks like NOED are there to use for killers. As to why someone wouldn’t dc? That’s irritating to go against. It’s irritating to know that the devs had supposedly fixed the the cage problems with this killer as it was complained about so much on here when he was released even by killer mains, and things like this still happen.

@Babyyy_Boyy Oh course we dont get a reply from you.

I mean, why should you give valid points if you just could complain about things you do much worse?

Dude look what time you comment I was asleep. I don’t have time to respond to 50+ negative comments anyways but playing a game with Friends should not be looked at in a bad way it’s literally playing a game with friends. I also have every right to get mad because this isn’t “camping”, it’s a scummy way to get a kill because the killer was bad and it’s something we thought the devs fixed but obviously not.

    - SWF, with all the sweat perks

    - one gets tunnelled (in endgame) as damage control

    - this leads to one dcing and another coming to the forums to demand action be taken because only three of them escaped

    - OP also lets players bleed out on the floor when playing killer as mentioned earlier in this thread but that's ok because he's the one doing it

So yes, some hints of entitlement detected

-you only saw my perks so who do you know the whole SWF has “Sweat Perks”?

-He never got tunneled, if you would of read the post I said he got chased and he was hooked EARLIER in the game. That doesn’t mean he got tunneled

-Who wouldn’t DC? I have every right to come and post what I want on here until I get banned from posting on here

-You’re literally coming off a comment on here but don’t know the full story as to why I slugged them (Didn’t let them bleed out) sit down. Move along. Bye.

  • @Raz_ said:

Thats a classic Pyramid head gameplay. well say thanks to devs who implemented a full time tunneling killer.

Funny how people say "omg he dced so entitled" but killers also dc when they get gen rushed or anything happens what is not fun for them.

    mindset of killer mains

Exactly dude. Half these comments are hate comments against me but I can see why because 80% of these forums are killer mains even though I’ve always been a killer main. But thanks for understanding.

  • @Boss said:

I don't see why you think this should've been a lost kill.

Or at least, the Killer seemed to not think it was lost.

As long as a Survivor is in the trial, they should have the ability to be injured and die.

And so the Killer here used the tools available to them and managed to still get a kill in at the end.

If you mean you disagree with this particular method being a thing, then idk what to say because it might be this way forever.

Yes I definitely disagree with THIS particular method being a thing in the game. It’s unhealthy and do you remember when Pyramid Head had the ability to see cage auras? EVERY match was like that on EVERY platform and it was complained on these forums for a good time and it got fixed right away. But as you can tell from the video, it did not get fixed entirely so it’s going to leave people upset because we thought the Devs had fixed it but OBVIOUSLY not.

  • @Demonl3y said:

So you are playing in SWF, with DCing members and because the killer camped in the ENDGAME he is toxic and entitlted?

He did nothing wrong. Why should he leave if the gates are powered and he knews you guys are around him?

omg comments like these are annoying there’s like 50 of them on here. What does SWF have to do with anything? Playing with friends on a video game isn’t bad just sit down you and all the other entitled killer mains on here. Please. Next.

  • @MeatBycicle said:

Why did you avoid the perk question? Is your whole SWF just running small PP build then complaining your gen rush ended in one of your SWF having to DC?

It's literally not impressive when a team escapes based off of immunity and 4 man communication. As I see it, you and your SWF had everything in this game, you have no room to complain.

To answer your question which I haven’t ran into, NO we were not running the “small pp build” and also WE DO have room to complain because Doing generators is the only objective survivors have to do (totems are not required). Playing with friends on this game or any game for that matter should not be looked at in a bad way there’s nothing wrong for wanting to play a game with friends. You’re either jealous because you always play solo or you go against SWF’s that you can’t beat. Period. Next.

I dont see that at all from the killer, he was just securing a kill, and you're complaining because he didnt let you walk out. What youre asking for is the definition of entitled.

Be glad I wasn't in that match, you'd be on here, whining about how overpowered pyramid head is, rather than whining because all 4 didnt escape. Because if you cant dodge his m2 in open space, you wouldnt have lasted 5 minutes against a killer like me.

No, if we all escaped you would be on here whining on how broken map ands are and how SWF is OP. Sit down.

I wouldnt say so. The difference is he had to camp the game wasnt over and he had nothing better to do. Blame the devs for the poor design. You on the other hand let me bleed out over something as trivial as "cockyness." You cant be mad. You also cant be mad as you have done scummy tactics yourself. No one wants to be on the floor and do nothing.

    You’re team was unhooking in front of my face and going for flashlight saves. So if I down someone that I just unhooked I’m not going to get DS’d so I’m going to slug. If your teammates are surrounding 1 body and I have infectious I’m going to bait your teammates and look at what happened they were stupid enough to surround you and they all got slugged not just you (: don’t come on these forums and try to make me look bad when you know how to hit me up on Xbox (;

I understand your frustrations but you let me bleed out as killer you cant really be big mad.

Bleeding out is not as bad as that though. I’m not mad. My friend dc’d it’s a scummy tactic as PYRAMID HEAD I played oni against you and your team was just going for flashlight saves

You’re coming across a little entitled bud. I’m a PH main, and I agree. I’m not a fan of survivors staying tormented after hooking them. I’m not a fan of cages and the baby mori he has either. I wouldn’t mind a rework on him so he’s a little more balanced. However, you can’t play in a SWF and expect to get 4 out all the time. If somebody dies, don’t worry, it’s just a game...they’re still alive in real life....they can ready up for the next one. Take your L’s with class.

It’s not the fact that I’m mad over a loss. I wasn’t the one who Dc’d. I’m more mad at behavior for making a killer with a stupid mechanic (no offense).

  • @Kilmeran said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1590326#Comment_1590326

I don't disagree with you. Unfortunately, Pyramid Head's design seems very poorly thought out in terms of players camping with him. I mean hell, they already had to adjust the cages because somehow they failed to see how they would be camped in the first place. And then again with that power.

The game is not new. Camping is not some new thing. How that type of oversight can happen in design and testing boggles my mind.

Yeah I like how the devs removed his ability to see cage auras because that was a topic that was complained about a lot on these forums but his mechanic is still poorly designed because he can do a lot of nasty things with his cages like the example in the video.

  • @Jyn_Mojito said:

How do you know it was Killer entitlement and not bait? I had to learn the hard way that sometimes it's not the Killer that outplays you, but the team's altruism. It's nice when you can make it out as a team, but that mentality can very quickly turn a 1K into a 4K.

Yeah you’re not wrong at all. Being too altruistic can end up getting the killer more kills because It’s happened to me before in killer matches and survivor matches but in THAT MOMENT we wanted to get him out as safe as we could but that method of camping has no counterplay. Had it been another killer definitely could of made a play.

If your friend hadn't stepped on trails this would not have happened. Sounds like he needs to be more aware of torment.

In the heat of the moment when your being chased by a pyramid head while injured, avoiding stepping on the trails should be the last thing in your mind. It’s always these stupid comments lol.

  • @Xbob42 said:

Sounds like For the People would've come in handy in this situation, as well as Dead Hard for the person in the cage. Styptic Agent as well. If no one had any of those, oh well. ######### happens.

And he did a dance because he probably thought it was funny that you guys were ready to leave with no kills while at the same time rage quitting the second things take a turn. Do you know how many times, when the survivors open the exit gates, they sit inside so they can teabag before they leave? So close to every single time that it might as well be every single time. There's nothing I can do, literally NOTHING, when they stand on the edge inside the exit gate. If I hit them, they fall outside of the trial and escape. They do it simply to gloat about winning.

Was the dance necessary? Nah, but neither is the incessant and endless teabagging done by 99% of survivors. Even if they don't do it on every single pallet (although some do even for this) they will almost all do it at the exit gates.

I think it's all pretty tacky, but I don't fault the guy for being happy he was able to get something out of that mess. Sometimes you lose and the other team gloats. Gotta deal with it like we all do.

Yeah I actually agree with your comment 100% I mean our teammate was mad but I was mad about the whole situation and I think I was more upset about it than he was. Thing is, god forbid you use a styptic, or Dead Hard, or for the people because killers will point it out in the blink of an eye and talk about how those perks are so unbalanced. But you’re right survivors also have their way of gloating too.

  • @Dwinchester said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/187805/why-are-killers-allowed-to-do-this-please-watch

Had everyone escaped the trial yet? No? Then he hasn't lost. Survivors have this idea that once they've completed the gens, they have won.

Killer has every right to camp and use everything at his disposal to kill.

And killers have this Idea that if they make someone rage quit and or camp to get a kill that they’re god tier. You’re literally the reason why survivors are toxic to innocent killers. You weren’t even in that match first of all and like I said don’t get mad when survivors act like A holes towards killer mains, they bring out the worst in survivors behavior.

dancing on him was scummy yes but it how the game is I don't use PH but I had matches like this you know what after I start camping they all gang up on me save the hooked survivor BT DS and body block to gate ones are all know they safe start they t bagging me.

so maybe it was his t bagging he might of had a lot of bad matches with t bagging survivors this what happens.

this game will bring out the worse in people.

Yeah true maybe he had bad matches previously or something idk.

  • @Yamaoka said:

@Babyyy_Boyy what would you have done if you had been the Pyramid Head in the same situation?

I would of either camped, (not the scummy way he did) or forced the 3 other survivors out so I can get a kill that doesn’t require playing scummy. No one looks at the fact on how scummy pyramid heads mechanics can be and how they can be taken advantage of in a bad way.

  • @Mikeasaurus said:

I mean, it was his only kill of the game. Of course he was going to do anything to get it. Do you know how demoralizing it is to go the entire match and end up with everyone escaping? So give the guy a break.

Yeah I understand how frustrating it could be I have 3000 hours on the game with more kills than escapes but I’m just trying to point out the fact the WAY he did it was scummy.

  • @Todgeweiht said:

"we did all gens, so we won and the killer lost and we are entitled to winning"

    No.

Oh boy here comes the salt already. Yeah the killer can camp if he wants to any killer for that matter, yeah it’s a strat or whatever you want to call it but that right there is just so bs. The cage mechanic itself is bull crap because there’s no counterplay to it. And killer mains always wonder why survivors are toxic all the time. It’s a cycle.

  • @shalo said:

DC because you can't dodge Pyramid's attack and the Killer's entitled? 🤣

No? #########? I said why are killers entitled to a kill knowing they lost the game. Your comment makes no sense.

  • @NekoGamerX said:

sorry but in end game camping is the right thing to do no matter what killer it is.

Not like that. At least with camping it’s a 50/50 because you either get a kill or all survivors escape. There’s nothing you can do in this situation AS SURVIVOR which I think that’s the point you’re not getting.

  • @TheClownIsKing said:

You could have just waited long enough for the cage to respawn elsewhere on the map. If PH remains to close to a cage for too long, the cage respawns.

Really? I thought it only respawned if he was within 5 meters of the cage? I guess I know next time lol.

  • OOO is really good in solos I love running it.

  • Yeah it’s honestly annoying. It took me a long time to rank up to rank 1 as survivor on pc compared to xbox and that’s because a lot of pc killers become sweats in the green ranks, I’m talking about infectious fright nurses slugging all 4 survivors they find the last survivor, Stridor spirits, and more.

There's one of 2 things they could do to improve him significantly:

    • Let him place his traps like Freddy snares. Quick and simple, no long animation that obscures vision and movement. Increase the arming time to 5-10 seconds if necessary. Reduces his setup time and makes him more interesting in chase.
    • Let him recall traps across the map to his hand every 30 or so seconds.

As it stands he's just garbage, even at his best. Especially if you get Lery's on console against a 3-4 man SWF :)))))) totally didn't just happen totally didn't DC nope no way huh-uh.

Yeah he’s unplayable on Lery’s on Xbox. 10FPS

  • You should be allowed to disconnect or ######### on hook from a match you don’t want to be in. There are many examples for this such as:

•playing against a killer who wants to first hook mori

•It’s a Stridor Spirit (Joke btw, no offense spirit mains)

•You’re getting hits that shouldn’t register on you

•you get hooked and all your teammates are on the outskirts doing nothing or self caring

•You’re about to reach 2nd hook stage and no one has came to get you

•You got farmed off hook and killer picks up and or tunnels off hook

There are probably a lot more that I did not list but you shouldn’t have to go against this kind of crap when you play survivor.

  • @ad19970 said:

Pyramid head doesn't see the aura of cages anymore, so I don't think that's too much of a problem. The only problem I have is that survivors keep their tormented status effect when hooked, meaning the killer can simply tunnel the survivor off a hook and then send him to a cage without having to fear the DS.

The issue with the cages is that although they removed the ability for him to see cages, he still gets an alert when someone is removed from the cage and to be fair the cages usually spawn in dead zones most of the time. So if the survivor can’t get healed up by the team he gets there it’s almost an instant tunnel.

You're acting like there's a mori every game. This may be the case at green ranks where you play - but at red ranks, it's not.

    But okay - insult me.

I did not mean the insult but first and foremost I’m in the red ranks and have been in the red ranks for over year,(other than rank reset) so the majority of the killers I get with an ebony are red ranks. I know rank does not mean skill as so the devs have confirmed themselves, but you’d be suprised on how often red rank killers bring moris. I still think no group of survivors should be 1st hook mori’d unless you personally have had problems with them in the past or there is at least a key in the lobby.

  • @SMitchell8 said:

Idiot killer today playing as GF. Hooked 1, camped the area, mori. Hooked me, escaped into corner after unhooked, GF returns and Mori's me. Ffs, we had 3 gens still to do and it was a very even game until he decided spoil it.

I can see the need to take an Ebony mori into a match as SWF insurance, but to use them on first hooked survivors early game is just ridiculous.

I definitely agree. Matches like those are so annoying as well.

  • @TWiXT said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/186561/if-you-1st-hook-mori-you-re-bad

OR... we're not trying to 4k to win so much as use the mori to purposely de-rank until we reach less frustrating ranks since matchmaking is currently based on them. I mean, that's what I do. 1-hook-into-mori is devastating to the killers emblems and ranking, especially in the red ranks, so if I find that I'm getting frustrated, or just tired of going up against too many sweaty high rank solo's and SWF teams, I dust off the large pile of Ebony Mori's, 1 shot perks/killers/add-ons, and go Kill away until I drop down to rank 7-ish where the games become less stressful.

Unlike survivors options for de-ranking, Mori's have become a useful tool that helps killers purposely de-rank, and they allow us to do so without having to resort to pathetic measures like DC'ing, or AFK'ing. With such a tool usually piling up in our inventories, and with the devs changing them to punish killers ranking ever since the emblem system went live, why not take advantage of them for this purpose?

To me its a win/win way to de-rank if that's what you're after, because you have short, fun matches, and earn decent bloodpoints while you're at it. It's always funny to get a 3-4k, end up with around 20k+ bp, and still get the "Entity Displeased" message. Sure it's not very nice to the red rank survivors, but at least the matches are short enough that they don't waste too much time in them, so they'll either get over it, or come to these forums to whine about it.

I'm not really trying to change you're mind about them, just offering a different perspective as to why any killer would purposely 1-hook-into-mori a team of survivors knowing that their ranking is going to suffer for it... It just seems to me that this has become the Mori's intended purpose.

I understand that going up against sweaty SWF’s and Solos can be very stressful and frustrating but there’s honestly no need to bring a mori for survivors that haven’t cause you problems. This is where the cycle of toxicity begins. If you haven’t watched this video by Scott Jund you should watch it he explains things a bit better. But if you don’t, basically a killer who’s toxic to survivors for no reason makes them angry which then makes them become toxic to every killer they run into even if they had no personal problems. If goes both ways but yeah.

You get hooked once. Your teammate saves you. You get caught AGAIN. (In between that is either being healed or mistake for getting caught wounded.) Chased...

At this point is where the Killer is NOT AT FAULT for the remaining moment.

It is now your fault for getting downed a SECOND time. Then Killer decides to end you.

It is and has never been 1st hook die.

Asides being face camped. Survivors CAN prevent being Mori killed.

1.) If the teammate saves you within the killers terror radius with no borrowed time you’re pretty much screwed unless your right next to a locker

2.) if the killer has sloppy and thanat, healing won’t be an option if the killer decides to come back, it takes to way long to heal at base so adding those will make it a pain.

3.) Killers that play like a douche with a mori is hard to counter

  • @NekoGamerX said:
