Twins is a fantastic idea bogged down by poor execution, and the people who don't like twins likely don't understand that Twins can legitimately have fantastic players and amazing plays that require skill and precision. Hag on the other hand, is just Trapper 2, but stronger this time. There's obviously some things that Hag can do that are obviously skillful, however the majority of their tech is purely knowledge based and not mechanical precision.
-
I was going to say the Disturbed Ward, but I noticed RPD after I voted. That #########'s repulsive
-
How would this even work without making it to where you can leave the gen and never actually hit skill checks?
-
Nurse needs to get bugfixed. However, if played at peak potential, there's not much survivors can realistically do to stall her chases for long.
The bugfixes are why I said she needs buffed, even though it's just making her work as intended.
-
It seems to mostly be due to ping, but even then, sometimes Huntresses themselves see the hitbox being jank sometimes as well.
-
It's a weak perk at the moment due to how bad it is on console, but if it worked as intended then it'd still be worse than Sprint Burst. It just feels so much cheaper than SB since there's no penalty for using it, and you'll still get an insanely strong effect

That is basically exactly what I am saying though, since killing a survivor makes them drop their item on the ground.
True, I always just forget that unless it's a key
-
I'd rather it be killing a survivor with an item gives you addons, with Franklins also giving you addons for items on the ground.
-
Doc's arguably the most balanced killer in the game at the moment, or he's at least somewhere near there. Nerfing him by extending his cooldown off Shocks would completely gut him.
-
I would love to see a tome where Ash realizes that he's out of his league, and that his only hope of escaping is to bide his time and go along with the entities game until he eventually finds an opening.
-
People sleep on Billy since he received overheat. It's almost as if Overheat was a near useless mechanic that almost exclusively punishes poor usage of the chainsaw, although it should probably cool down upon hitting a survivor so you can still snowball survivors, which is one of the only complaints I have about the mechanic.
Wraith has a slightly weaker chase at loops than Billy, due to needing to hit them twice and kick pallets, but he does have a slightly better mid-pallet game.
-
Shooting through tiny gaps will always be more satisfying to me than landing a mid-long range hatchet. Crossmaps though are the most pog thing in the game, but since gap shooting is much more common it'll be slinger for me.
-
As killer, I'm a Blight Main :)
I'll probably just eat the 5 min penalty if I get this map on him, it'll legitimately not be worth my time.
-
Most maps are fine, but there's some areas where there's consistently either one too many hooks or one too few. Ormond and the Indoor maps come to mind.
-
This is just the problem that the old old legion had, I'll go down eventually no matter how much better than the killer I may be. Player skill isn't a factor in this legion.
-
I enjoy Trickster, but it feels crushing to play him since 2-3 gens are done by the first chase ending, so I like I mostly stick to enjoying Blight.
-
This wouldn't realistically work since they've have to get the ok from all their licensers, even if they could, it's not worth their effort.
-
I feel like, similarly to The Ritual, this would probably work best as a map and maybe a survivor. The killer would require several completely new systems, since the beasts are much larger than the average killer, especially horizontally. It'll be a killer that couldn't work due to being too wide and blind.
-
The game is mostly balanced, just not with extremely new players or a very skilled 4 man.
-
I haven't experienced too many hackers recently, so I'm voting no no despite it also saying that I enjoy losing, which I don't.
-
Neither, easy. Freddy is stronger though.
-
I'm assuming that part of "Jumpscare Myers" is Lery's, without it he's really laughably bad.
-
Adepts should only be changed for killer, and that should only be to get at a 4k instead of a merciless killer.
-
I haven't felt basically anything different about Billy since before and after the Overheat addition aside from the addons. Making him able to get a speed boost while overheated could be a good addition though that could win over players.
-
I don't think gens should be made any slower though, that's the worst possible option. Increasing the info that solo survivors get and then making it easier for a killer to get into a chase could be one far better option.
Getting all 5 gens done within even 6 minutes means that the killer played poorly or all the survivors are just gods among men.
-
@HaunterofShadows said:
we have regression perks for this reason. also I highly doubt its possible you did all the gens in 3 mins
I've seen this exactly once, although it was probably closer to 3:30 and on Grim Pantry. The killer just committed too hard to a chase that resulted in the quickest game possible.
Assuming that the killer starts with one person in chase and doesn't catch them for the duration of the gens, and the other survivors have a 20 second gen-travel time and spawn on seperate gens, all gens should be done in roughly 150-180 seconds. Although this is highly unlikely to happen, after enough games (and probably a rank reset or two), it's bound to happen at least once to someone.
-
Stealthing can be extremely fun if pulled off correctly, although its not for everybody. Same as how some people enjoy playing Hag and not chasing people. As long as the intention isn't to bore/infuriate the other side, anything goes honestly.
-
They should instead incentivize survivors to group up instead of splitting up. Make their be a penalty for working solo, and remove that penalty for working in a pair or greater, then, of course, rework Prove Thyself accordingly. This'll make it to where killers'll almost always scare two survivors off instead of just one, while also not affecting solo q play all too much but completely altering how survivors repair at higher levels of skill.
Kicking a gen inflicting some instant regression as well would also be a nice touch, maybe 5% insta regression and nerf Pop by 5% to compensate.
-
Call me biased, but if Pennywise gets in then it'll be the only chapter I won't purchase. Pennywise is a god-like entity, that's probably as powerful as the entity itself, if not moreso. Not to mention how Pennywise, and a lot of Kings' villains actually, are just plainly overpowered but somehow still lose despite how they can completely manipulate time and space to their will.
-
Gameing
-
It's useful for as long as Ruin is useful, although Blast mine arguably beats it out as a pop counter
-
Break ruin, easy fix to the Ruin + Tinkerer combo. If they have Undying as well than that's 3/4 of their perks just dedicated to Ruin, and only 2 totems that're necessary to break.

I mean, yeah, Tombstone is worse than Tombstone Piece, but that's because Tombstone Piece is one of the most overpowered addons in the game.
If we're talking about solo q or 2 2 men, yes I'd agree. However it still doesn't bring Michael up to the point of stronger killers like Blight or even Oni's domination of Solo q. It definitely does need a nerf though, only about 8.25 seconds once in order to gain kills is quite powerful, although I'll still reiterate that a Mikey with this is still weaker than a Blight with 2 turning addons or a spirit with a brown duration addon.
-

Vanity Mirror would be fine if it didn't have a speed penalty. Tombstone is completely fine as-is, the downsides are well worth being able to instakill people in Tier 3 (and besides, we need something for the Evil Incarnate achievement).
Judith's Tombstone isn't a strong addon, hell I'd argue it's actually worse than default Michael, and is far outclassed by Gravestone Piece. It adds 12 seconds to the stalk timer, has a small kill range, and slows you by a whopping 9% movement. Michael already gets harassed by strong groups, and the super slow mobility of him with tombstone means that you're probably not going to get any kills with it unless you have Fragrant Lock of Hair, which also adds an additional 12 sec of stalk. (keep in mind each survivor only has roughly 10.1 stalk inside them)
-
I highly doubt that the devs can create a system that's both easy to read and accurately determines whether or not camping or tunnelling are required or not, also tunnelling in most instances are caused by somebody doing a poor play, which would make a system that punishes tunnelling even more impossible.
-
Even though I'm your average Blight Enjoyer, I'm also an Average Wraith Fan. Being able to completely shred through pallets with Shadow Dance and then close the distance and create a 50/50 scenario is just an enjoyable time. It's much less taxing than playing Blight, even though he is also far less powerful as a result. A better question would be why do people enjoy Legion or Michael, who are far more basic killers than Wraith, who has the potential for insane plays with his boost, same with pig.

The nerf to Franklin is so stupid, it was such an harmless perk
It was a buff imo, now that it removes charges over time it completely rends medkits and removes a ton of charges on Blood Amber keys. I'm willing to take the trade off since those two things win more games than keys opening hatch do.
-
@Northener1907 said:
They will not do that. Because that will be nerfing survivors.
You're right, they haven't nerfed survivors in so long! Except for
- Franklins now being devastating against Medkits instead of Keys.
- Giving Soul Guard a cooldown so survivor's can't be completely invincible.
- Removed the on-command aspect of OoO
- Reworked DS
- Nerfed the reworked DS
- Halved the benefit from Great skill checks
- Buffing Mangled
- And several other smaller perk / killer related nerfs / buffs that're bad for survivor.
-
This isn't an unpopular opinion, in fact, this is the popular opinion.
-
Self Care burns just as much gen time as one survivor healing another, and due to how gens slow down if there's more people on it, it actually saves time to have one person self care and one on the gen. Self care gets a lot of hate mostly due to poor usage, but in reality healing itself is not incentivized unless you're confident you and your teammates all can last more than 32 seconds between hits.
-
It's strong, but I just don't like perks with timers.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isnt Pyramid Head a "god" too?
Feel free to correct me if I butcher Silent Hill lore, but I'm pretty sure Pyramid Head is just the same as any other monster in Silent Hill, a manifestation of whatever aspect of those inside with the explicit purpose of tormenting them.
-
I don't understand how he would work since IT is basically a god. Also I personally think that just about all it's media is bad.
-
I don't really care about Slugging, sometimes it's required. I do enjoy going against some strong killers (Blight or P head for example) but Nurse and Spirit bore me, and don't make me mention Hag with Agitation.
-
There's a plethora of other Lovecraftian entities to choose from, Cthulhu is both too powerful and too large. Other monster from Lovecraft that could work would be the Dunwich Horror, or an creature directly derived from Lovecraft could be Darkest Dungeons' Shambler, Collector, or Thing from the Stars.
-
I'm a sucker for body horror, and the sheer disgust that Doctor instills is quite disturbing.
-
It'll depend on whether or not the licenses are willing to allow it, however since Bill received one, it's quite likely that BHVR would like to but they just need approval.
-
It works well enough when I'm playing Surv, but as killer I'm just getting survivors that're kinda pepega.
-
Bronze
-
Lery's - The most balanced of all the maps listed due to a spread of strong and weak windows and pallets and a moderate size.
Game - How the hell did they manage to make this map worse??? At least now there's a survivor sided indoor map I guess.
Hawkins - lol
Midwich - It's just annoying for both sides while also being one of the stronger killer maps.
RPD - Gameplay is god awful, arguably the worse in the game, but graphically it's really well done.
