Survivor: Red Forest
Killer: Dead Dawg
Both: Midwich
-
Honestly as long as it's not another Resident Evil chapter or FNAF, I don't care what it is. Would love to see Predator or Alien though, if I had to choose.
-
- Myers running out of stalk and being unable to stalk two survivors at the same time.
-
These are barely nerfs. They only nerfed her 3 gen strat, which was the only strong thing she had to make her at least somewhat viable.
They greatly increased her chase potential and nerfed the 3 gen strat accordingly. She's now going to be better in chases and she'll still be able to defend gen, but not too over the top like now.

There's no way the haste buff lasts until the next killer survivors will instantly start complaining that she's far to fast
And then poor Merchant will go back to F tier
I'm hoping that's not going to be the case, but (unfortunately) that's how it usually goes.
-
Um, no. This is a terrible idea.
-
I sometimes do that, if I really like the music.
-
I'm actually happy with the changes. Her 3 gen strat needed to go and they buffed her chase which is what was needed.
-
Barely, if ever. Unless someone has bad ping.
-
Old Ormond actually looked like an abandoned lodge and Coldwind actually looked eerie and felt very uneasy (I felt that a lot back in the day when playing on Coldwind). I really miss the creepy, out of place aesthetic the game had back before the maps got reworked. Even the old survivor models looked cool, they actually looked scared and like they were trying to survive. I also miss the fog.
With that being said, we have had some gloomy, dark maps recently (Garden Of Joy, RPD, New Red Forest). And we have had some more scary killers like Dredge, for example. Personally I don't mind more human killers, but Skull Merchant's backstory is horrendous and poorly written imo.
-
I don't really like recolors that much, but this one is very pretty. I especially love the purple hair.
-
Left 4 Dead deserves more content.
-
Artist. Getting Bird Snipes is fun.
-
193 Common Medkits on Kate.
-
A factory of some sort with dim lighting. Maybe like Ironworks Of Misery main building, but as a whole indoor map.
-
Twins and Dredge
-
Body blocking is a valid strategy against the killer. There's perks like Starstruck, Mad Grit, Iron Grasp, etc to counter it too.
-
Yes. It's a 1v4 and you have to pressure gens, chase and down survivors, hook survivors, deal with loops, etc.
-
I got Iri 1 for survivor and Gold 2 for killer, so I didn't have that much BP to spend this time around.
-
She's not OP in the slightest. She's just really good at 3 gen-ing, which is her only strong point ATM.
-
First killer I ever mained was Legion. This was back in 2018, so they were drastically different back then. I liked their hit and run type of playstyle and downing people with Feral Frenzy was really fun. After they got nerfed for the second time, I moved on to maining Spirit.
I loved Spirit and mained her for a long time before she eventually got nerfed into the ground. I really didn't like that they removed her collision during Phase Walking, as that was the most fun part of her power for me. That and Mother-Daughter Ring + Father's Glasses combo. I still don't get why they removed Father's Glasses.
I mained Pig after Spirit's eventual nerf. Then Artist came out and I absolutely fell in love with her and kinda abandoned Pig. I love Artist's power and getting Bird Snipes is so satisfying. Her Addons can make things interesting and I really like her cosmetics.
As for survivor, I used to main Nea and Feng back in the day. Now I just play whoever, but I play Nea, Kate, Renato and Thalita the most.
-
I have no reason to bring an item, unless I'm running a specific build for fun. Plus I'm an item hoarder, so I never bring items unless it's on a character I don't play as much and the build thing I mentioned earlier.
-
35 minutes against a 3 gen Skull Merchant on The Game.
It was the last gen and of course she was setting up Drones near gens within close proximity of each other. Every time someone attempted to disable or disabled a drone, she'd come back to that area and chase the person off the drone or gen. Then she'd set up another drone if someone managed to disable it and go back to guarding that 3 gen. Our team ended up sacrificing themselves after a while so the game would end.
-
Her power needs a complete rework.
-
I'd get it. It sounds interesting.
-
It depends. The only killer voice lines I can deal with are Trickster's and Nemesis, other than that they're very annoying to me. Especially Pinhead and Wesker.
-
I'd rather deal with Bubba because at least I would be able to get out of the match.
-
It also affects Doctor's power. Hopefully they revert this unnecessary change.
-
They played it too safe for these perks. Even if the cooldown was completely removed they'd still be pretty mediocre.

It's a little too different, in my opinion. At least, the living quarters upstairs are jarringly and awkwardly clean and ritzy and brightly-lit. It's weird in a way I don't like, I think they could at least dim the lights down to something a little more moody.
Yeah they could make the upstairs area a little more scary looking or at least lived in. And dim down the spotlight on the mannequins or even change the color of it (Like how there's purple lighting in the engineering room).
-
I really like the new Shelter Woods. The new main building is cool (although it can be a little off-putting because it's drastically different from what we usually see in DBD).
-
I find voice lines for killers to be annoying. Trickster's is the only one I can tolerate because it's actually entertaining. If the killer is constantly chattering (like Wesker and Pinhead), it can get very annoying.
-
I'm not really a fan of the newer stuff. Nurse, Hag, and Skull Merchant's themes are pretty annoying imo. But the rest of the themes are amazing.
-
Jane has the same issue with her Uncommon headpieces. It just changes her makeup and that's it.
The Uncommons should at least change the color of the streak in Haddie's hair.
-
Yeah, wasn't even hyped when loading into the game after the update. The whole chapter is kinda meh, the cosmetics are meh (wish there had been green rarity cosmetics too), the new maps are meh. Just not excited for it anymore
-
Yeah, not really hyped about it. I love the survivors, but I'm honestly really not interested in Skull Merchant.

Do we know which exclusive cosmetics they will get? Or are you just assuming you will like them/want them for collection purpose?
(please don’t tell me the PTB alt shirts are usually the DLC exclusive outfits… )
They're usually recolors, so I'm just assuming I'd like them. Also I just want them to collect. And I'm guessing that the PTB alt shirts are the exclusive cosmetics, because that's usually how it goes.
-
The only thing I miss about the event is the double XP and login rewards.
-
I might play Skull Merchant a bit and see if I really like her power after the buffs. PTB Skull Merchant was really bad, so hoping her power is a little better. Her perks are bad though, save for THWACK! which could be useful to other killers.
Love the survivors. They actually have pretty decent backstories and I like them both. Their perks are very underwhelming though, save for Bloodrush and Cut Loose.
Definitely buying this with money since I want the exclusive cosmetics for the survivors and it's easier for me to buy it with real money rather than grinding for shards (Honestly I just wanted the survivors out of this chapter, but since I'm buying with money I'll try Skull Merchant out too)
Definitely buying outfits for both Renato and Thalita, but with shards. I'm not gonna bother with Skull Merchant though.
New maps are cool. I like the new Shelter Woods and Red Forest looks awesome, although it could've been balanced better.

The killer at least can get up on the cart, or even down them from a certain angle. I don't think that's possible with the rocks on Ormond.
As far as I know, it is actually possible for the killer to get on the rocks on Ormond, it's just more difficult.
-
I'm also glad that it's over. I was bored of getting nothing but Wrecker's Yard, Coal Tower and Dead Dawg. Loved the double XP and login rewards though.
-
There's no reason for it to have that extra regression penalty. Some changes would do the perk some good
-
I don't really care about how she looks, but I wish her Mori was more interesting and her power was actually fun to use.
-
The same thing happens on Dead Dawg with that cart near the Gallows. Survivors will stay or mess around on top of the cart while the rest of the team has to play the game.
-
Dredge is fine. Their anti-loop is pretty weak and easy to read. It's easy to detect them during the darkness, just listen for sound cues. Their only real strength is their teleportation, which you only get 4 tokens. Transversing to lockers is super slow out of Nightfall, making it barely useful in a chase unless a survivor is super close to a locker. Even then, their next move will be easily readable in that situation, even during Nightfall.
Just because a killer has multiple abilities doesn't mean they're overpowered.
-
It's pretty boring, so it's usually a "whatever" sort of match.
-
Nope. As much as I want it back in the game, it's most likely never going to return.
-
He's strong at 3 gen-ing, can camp hooks/gens with guards, has no counterplay at loops besides leaving (which doesn't help because you'll most likely get detected by his guards anyway), and he's very uninteractive.
Just an overall unfun and boring killer to face.
-
I used to main Pig back in the day but stopped because she just can't keep up with today's killer standards imo. I would like to main her again, but I can't bring myself to do it right now.
Dredge is one of my mains and I really enjoy playing as them. Sometimes they can be more enjoyable than Artist (My number 1 main). Sadako can also be pretty fun, but I don't play her as often as I used to.
-
Yeah, I've been kinda getting burnt out from this game, especially with all the tunneling, slugging, gen rushing, and bully squads I've been getting. Both sides have became stale and boring, and every match is a sweatfest. I've been taking a break for a few days. Probably gonna wait until the new chapter come out to play again.
