So it was just recently announced that Eruption will be receiving a nerf. I'm glad that they addressed the perk, but I have mixed feelings about the proposed changes.
The perk needed some sort of nerf, but the announced nerfs seem like a bit too much imo. Yeah it was annoying to go against, but (seemingly) nerfing it to the ground isn't the right way. 10% gen regression seems kinda weak and the survivors screaming revealing their locations is an interesting concept, though it seems it would benefit high mobility/ranged killers more than M1 killers (who used Eruption more frequently). And these changes might take it out of the meta too, which honestly is a good thing.
I don't know. Maybe we'll just have to wait and see how it does.

I'm so happy that she'll finally be receiving new outfits.
-
It seems like a bit too much to me, but at least they addressed it.
-
- COH isn't a problem, the way boons work as a whole is.
- Survivors need a second objective in the beginning of the game.
- Artist is just as good as Nurse
- Despite their flaws and questionable decisions, BHVR is a pretty decent gaming company and better than most ones out there.
- Camping, slugging, and tunnelling are legit strategies, however in certain scenarios they're annoying and plain unfair.
-
Yeah, I have a feeling that the next "meta shakeup" update is gonna be a disaster. They already ruined a boatload of perks last time, not counting on this time being better.
-
I would pay decent amount of money just so I can give Artist's Crows a new look.
-
If I really liked the music and it's for one of my mains, then yes
-
No. I don't really care about lobby animations.
-
For me, it's about 7:00-7:30 PM ET.
-
Wesker. He's just annoying on so many levels. I'd rather face a Nurse than him.
-
They'll return next year. They've been having Red Envelopes almost every Lunar New Year event so far.
-
Guarding a 3 gen/3 gen-ing
-
I mean, I voted for Garden Of Joy because I like it's aesthetic and I can kinda handle that map with my main. But Ormond and Dead Dawg are gonna be problems. I can already tell this event is gonna be bad.
-
Yeah anything would be better than having the envelopes shoved into an unavailable slot until next year. I have like 100 of them on Kate and I think Feng. Would be nice to exchange them for something else.
-
First thing that comes to mind is Bloodwarden, but that's 30 seconds. There's also Dissolution and Merciless Storm.
I'm just gonna take a wild guess and say Dissolution.

Was playing as Plague and went to hit a fully infected Mikaela with corrupt purge around a corner. Instead I hit a wild Bill who appeared from around the corner in front of Mikaela. Mikaela tried blocking for him (idk why just survivor things) as he Dead Harded into a wall and I went to swing at Mikaela. She moved and I ended up downing Bill instead. XD
-
I haven't really noticed anything else aside from a weird invisible wall spawn near a corner in Lery's. I agree with the cheater thing though, there has definitely been an increase in them.
-
He's fine after his buffs, he just needs some bug fixes.
-
If a survivor is wearing default cosmetics (aside from licensed characters) or if 3 of them are wearing the same cosmetics, I sometimes will dodge.
-
Favorite: Artist. I just love everything about her power and it's super fun to use
Least Favorite: Oni. His power seems a little weird to me and is a little difficult for me to use.
-
Doctor and Pinhead
-
It needs reworked completely. Get rid of the terrible red tint, make the map a bit smaller and add some actual interesting building so everything doesn't look identical.
-
I'm actually thinking about bringing it in my builds now considering killers keep bringing Lethal Pursuer, Nowhere to Hide, and/or BBQ.
-
They're pointless, but can provide an alternative playstyle. If you want to give yourself a challenge, equip the addon. I personally don't use them.
-
Blast Mine + Residual Manifest + Flashlight is one of my favorite builds to use.
-
1. The Evil Within
2. Alien
3. Predator
And a license that I want but will probably never happen: The Mist (IDK how it would work but I would love to see it).
-
Dredge is my second main next to Artist. They're very fun to play as and you can even pull off a few jump scares with them. They're pretty balanced in terms of gameplay and have a cool stealth mechanic (Nightfall). They're probably one of the scariest killers in the game too.
-
Not really, in my experience at least. Killers have been bringing RPD and Lery's offerings for the past few days. It's usually 4 envelopes and a map offering or Bloody Party Streamers.
-
Pyramid Head or Pinhead. They're both supernatural entities with great power.
For original killers, I'd definitely say The Dredge. They're a monstrous force formed from dark thoughts that can take the life force of any living being and make it a part of them. Very scary.
-
No. There's enough sandbagging in game as is, without incentives. Solo survivor is already hard enough.
-
I'm having the Party Creation Failed error on Xbox as well.
-
It makes solo survivor a bit more bearable.

I really don't think a secondary objective would be good now. I think camping and tunneling alpjg with killers bringing slowdown builds would make survivor unbearable.
Imagine needing to find a generator part when a survivor is on a hook getting camped with other slow down perks.
Fair point. If this were to be implemented, perks for both sides would have to be adjusted.
But with that said, something needs to be done to help Early Game, and new things need implemented to survivor to make the role a little more interactive/fun. Anything would be better than what we have now.
-
Honestly kinda glad it's terrible ATM. We don't really need more gen perks rn in the current state of the game.
-
Eh, it's very gimmicky. Not really worth bringing unless you're playing a meme build.
-
Yeah it is kinda sad. Got survivors who DCd 3 matches in a row. Once because we loaded in on Midwich, another because we were going against Pinhead, and another because we loaded into Dead Dawg Saloon against a Spirit. -_-
-
NOED is fine. It has already been nerfed once already, no need for any more changes. Try cleansing all totems or cleansing the NIED totem when it's aura is shown.
-
It's a unnecessary and predatory tactic that's only use is for greed. Trying to manipulate and pressure players into buying cosmetics now rather than later is just wrong.
-
Yeah I've seen it. Those two gens always spawn the same since the update. I'm just hoping it's a bug. A gen used to always guarantee spawn there on old RPD, so maybe that has something to do with it.
-
I've been getting the same maps twice in a row. Like 2 Eyries, 2 Wretched Shop, 2 Wrecker's Yard, 2 Eyries again and 2 Shattered Squares. It's weird.
-
It's extremely loud and needs toned down.
-
The music is great, but it doesn't really fit Nurse. I'm fine with how it is now though. Just need to tone down the volume a bit because it's extremely loud.
-
Yes. It wasn't my favorite map at the time, but I loved the atmosphere and references that came with it. I honestly really miss it, it was very unique.
-
Artist is my highest levelled killer at the moment (P12) so it's most likely gonna be her. I've been pouring all my BP into Kate/Feng lately ontop of levelling Dredge and Knight.
-
Very Fun tier are killers I play frequently. Of course my mains have to be in the Very Fun list.
Fun Tier are the killers I play when I don't feel like playing my mains.
Ok tier are killers that are just ok. Not too bad, not too good.
Unfun tier are killers that are very close to being very Unfun, but can be bearable to play as.
Very Unfun tier is killers that are just frustrating to play.
-
I play more survivor because the games are a bit more chill and it's the role I started out with when I first started playing the game.
I play killer too and actually enjoy it a little more than survivor because of the different powers.
-
I get that she's popular, but 4 new cosmetics in a single month is a bit much. Other characters need some love too.
-
He's balanced, but extremely annoying to go against.
-
The change was to make solo queue more bearable and that's exactly what it did. The icons don't make players play better, bad survivors are still gonna be bad survivors. The information is not even on par with SWF, it just gives the basics.
It also makes balancing the game a lot easier since the gap between solo gameplay and SWF gameplay has decreased a bit, meaning killer's base gameplay and weaker killers could get buffs in the future.
-
Honestly not surprised at this point since she's really popular. I'd really like to see other characters get some cosmetics too, not just Feng.
