Those are the official confirmed cases, but we know the numbers are much greater than what's being reported. China for example, massively downplayed how bad the virus was spreading when it first began picking up wind. Then there's other factors we must consider as well. What about the people who don't go and report that they're sick though not even thinking it's the virus, or the people who just stay at home and don't bother reporting it? Or people who didn't even know they were sick are sick in the first place because they don't carry any of the symptoms?

As for Ibuprofen... I kind of need it to myself to not be in near constant pain. Though allegedly, the idea that Ibuprofen might make the symptoms worse is still in "rumor territory" so far, and I'm not sick yet, so I'll continue taking it, at least for now.

There are alternatives to ibuprofen. Still, dont take unnecessary risks if you're sick.

As for the confirmed official cases. Yes. But neither of us are in China. The recovery rate is still quite important, as it does shed some light more. I'd keep an eye on the worldometer now since inspection kits are being deployed.

  • I mean.

If you're seeing a lot of doctor recently.

I hear calm spirit does quite well against him

  • I mean aside from all the "haha nice bait comments"

This is why we eat DS early kids! Tune in next time on how to counter NOED in 5 easy steps!

  • I think you faced a rare death squad if you got looped for 3 gens, then the rest.

Against these types of ppl really I just try to pick my chases and at most I lose 2 gens.

I like playing trapper for a 3 gen lock which works more often than I'd like to admit because I dont want gen placements nerfed or something lol

Nice statistics. Where did you get them from? Or did you make them up?

Either way, I guess two of my friends who are currently in the hospitals and have a real chance of not making it must be a part of that "0.000001%" figure. Right?

    I'm also one of those people with a weak immune system. My mother is even more at risk than I am, but I digress;

Look, I'm not really interested in discussing the severity of the virus with you. Yes, I understand there's mass hysteria going on. Yes, I've seen people even buying like, 15 loafs of bread at once (don't know why bread; it expires really fast). People will freak out over any little thing at times. That doesn't mean the virus isn't a threat at all, especially if it mutates. If it mutates, we are going to have a major problem on our hands. Let's minimize that risk and the damage it could potentially do as best as we can, yes?

Just because it may not be a threat to you specifically, doesn't mean it's not a threat to others who's hysteria may be quite reasonable if they may be vulnerable to the virus, or know someone who is and just want to make sure they stay safe. And just because it may not be a threat now doesn't mean it cannot be a threat in the future, either.

At the end of the day, everyone lives in all sorts of environments and nobody's two living situations are the same. No doubt a lot of people are just being selfish; that's unfortunately a common trait with people. But for some people that hysteria may be very real and grounded.

At the end of the day, I'm going to be doing my part to stay safe because for one, I don't feel like getting infected because why would I (it's still probably going to happen with how bad it's getting where I live though), and two, to not spread the virus, because the last thing I want to do is unwittingly spread the virus and be partially responsible for someone ending up in the hospital or even worse, dead. If it's "0.000001%" as you say it is, then let's do our best to keep it that low or even make it lower, because if someone needs medical attention and they can't receive it because the hospitals are too flooded, then that's a needless death that could have been prevented, and to me, human life is something we should all be doing our best to try and preserve.

His statistics are not made up.

Currently we stand about an estimated

    242,000 confirmed cases.

    10,000 on the death toll

And 87,000 to have fully recovered .

As stated and recorded by the WHO and placed on a worldometer.

You and your friends are more likely to be fine than not, as the death toll is mainly elderly, and sometimes very young kids. The few deaths on middle aged/young individuals have all been linked to *severe* immune deficiencies and as well as taking ibuprofen, which was also warned that it gets the virus to act aggressively shortly after the link was found. (Tylenol is fine)

I do have a bone to pick and that is the mass hysteria revolving around the virus. Which is largely thanks to media outlets, as they are profiting from the widespread panic, and have NOT reported the recovery rate AT ALL. People are mass buying sanitization items in bulk (such as the face masks)... WHEN THEY HARDLY HELP AT ALL. My girlfriend is a nurse at a large Hospital. It really ticks me off that people are mass buying the items that actual Doctors and Nurses need the MOST.

    Tldr

Buying out face masks and sanitizers will not help more than washing your hands and keeping them away from your face.

The media is largely responsible for the mass hysteria, and they're keeping it going for some reason. (Shadow war we dont know about maybe?)

You will be fine if you contract the virus, you have the advantage of being young. (Just don't take Ibuprofen)

i got a 4k in the match im describing so i won too.

but it doesnt change the fact that the ability to ######### a hook within mere seconds is not OP as hell

I had survivors get cocky with it.

To me it's just another way for me to apply pressure for wanting to be sabo gods

  • Doing gens is toxic

    Sabotaging hooks is toxic

    Unhooking survivors is toxic

    Hooking survivors is toxic

    Killing survivors is toxic

    Dropping pallets is toxic

    Breaking pallets is toxic

    Using perks is toxic

    Not using perks is toxic

Who wants to add to the great list of *if it exists, it's toxic

Lol you're literally mad at OP for no reason this entire forums is just cancerous for this type of ish worse than reddit, Also who gets mad at inclusion of gay/lesbian characters i've not recently heard of anything the majority of players don't care I mean half the playerbase know on apex legends that Gibralter is gay and they're fine with it.

You don't understand what I was trying to say.

What my point was, if BHVR wants to add lesbian/gay characters, it's not because some people are pushing an agenda on them. BHVR has also said that they do already have a lesbian/gay character. This is completely fine with me.

I am not getting mad about having these types of characters in game. I am getting mad because of people trying to coerce them into making more. My reason being is that the quality of characters when they're being created this way goes down exponentially.

If the design team wants to add a character that is gay/lesbian or ######### dragonborn, it should be because they are having fun and focus creating said character

  • Revitalize this thread because the perk still needs attention :x

Help Insidious become fun for killers!!

  • This is a pretty petty thing to say.

There is literally ZERO hint of no country being "not allowed". Let the game designers add whoever the frick they want from wherever they damn please.

Sorry if I come off a bit hostile, but I absolutely detest when people attack game companies for narratives like inclusion of Gay/Lesbian or characters from certain races etc etc.

No one wants to see that BHVR is adding characters just to have them. The design and story team has done an amazing job with character creation and backstory. To force them to include a character from "X" is just wrong

  • Yeah. Theres already a collision when a killer vaults

The "window tech" is legit a timing thing.

Though If I'm being honest if you're getting juked by a window tech, fair play tbh.

  • Easier said than done

  • @AhoyWolf said:

It's amazing how they managed to get it from the god PTB state to the useless state like it was before.

It was because the perk was in a god state that the perk got nerfed. People legit waved goodbye to BBQ and called it the better perk.

Those types of players should have never said anything... is would have been a hidden gem of a perk

  • I mean isn't OP just saying the Killers he was facing were being toxic because they just wanted them to bleed out after having all 4 downed.

Maybe someone trying to start a trend to get survivors to DC this way so they could get a penalty?

  • To reply to the OP

Gotta love when people push an otzdarva video to push a point but completely miss the whole situation as to how it got there.

3 people on a gen leaves the gen time at 33 seconds. With speed increases, as it was shown post game, the speed went down to 27 seconds thanks to PTS and a toolbox. It's honestly waaaaay better than having 3 gens pop in 2 seconds, or having 3 gens pop in 60 seconds. (The way it used to be)

How is it okay? Well 3 players on a single generator will do that to you.

And end of the vid, Otz still 4ks in legit the worst map for killer in the game with the lowest tier killer.

Funny enough, I saw the vid before I went to the forums today, I thought: Hmm someone Is definitely gonna take this video and put it in the forums to push some sort of silly narrative.

    I was right huh

...they finished 4. And usually the videos shared always end up in 4k's because that's the most entertaining matches to watch on YouTube.

It's otz though. He usually 4ks a lot.

  • You might not have done it properly,

The prompt will go through your body block if it falters.

Though I cannot confirm if this is the case after all, it still is worth noting what I said.

I usually just sit right under the actual metal hook, then take like a step outward and don't move it usually does the trick

  • Not a bad drawing. I think it would look decent imo

  • Unpopular opinion: if you're sitting in front of a locker for a whole minute you kinda deserve to lose

  • @yogi42 said:

SWF all following me body blocking me removing hooks

what a fun horror game :)

Drop the survivor and spank the body blockers.

If they try to sabo in front of you now then their loss.

(Also try iron grasp it's a nice perk)

  • The point of matchmaking is to find a match to play on. :)

  • Call the Kool-Aid man and he will solve the god window you're complaining so much about

  • Someone said this above, but Billy is the definition of a balanced killer for the most part

Other than him, I'd have to say...

Nurse, a high skill cap ceiling killer with even higher reward

Doctor, his rework has made him a really well balanced killer, and really accessible to play.

    Lastly I'd say Spirit.

I play legion, pig, and ghostface mostly and they each have strong drawbacks but I still make them work out for me in red ranked play

  • This is why you don't make up stuff on the internet in public view.

There's bound to be a reddit investigator to call you out and expose you oof.

In this case it was Xbox, but god damn man, talk about really cheap

Wouldn't object be worse for you then. They can see your location.

Object hardly affects ghost face as he is a stealth killer

  • If there's no survivors that I can chase and quickly hit them I just eat the DS.

If there is a survivor I feel confident in slugging with no problem. I still get DS out of the way soon as possible.

I laugh a lot at DS complaint posts that dont bring up actual fair points.

  • Spies hardly got a nerf.

It's not like the crows dont come back.

Again, that’s not going to happen without STBFL. Trust me, I’ve both tested it and tried it publically.

Wait so the situation is different then? A survivor cant get away from you after sabotaging and taking a hit right before it.

    Am confused

  • @Demogordon_Ramsay said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1148481#Comment_1148481

With a 2.5 second sabo, the Survivor can literally get hit and then break the hook in your face anyway unless you have a high amount of STBFL tokens. A warning isn’t going to change that.

Down the survivor and the hook despawns.

Then smack him on the same hook he sabo'd for being a monkey

  • Talk about looking at the most minute thing to complain about. First off it only works on crows on his terror radius.

Also, survivors will be able to hear where the shot is coming from anyway... explain how this a nerf to an element that refreshes in less than a minute?

  • @MojoTheFabulous said:

I like this idea. Making more perks useful is always a good thing.

Yes. It's good to have a variety of perks so that people can play around with builds and have fun.

Someone might do a silent killer build like this with dark Devotion and be the ultimate stealth... legion or something.

I think clown would actually benefit from this. Or maybe even myers after T2/3

  • @avilmask said:

How much of undetectable can be considered strong enough? So, you know, it doesn't end as you get to the gen that's, as usual, on another side of the map.

As is, I like the idea. I would make it like devour hope, after 5 seconds (or maybe 24m away from a hook), you gain undetectable for 30 seconds, to not make it immediately obvious, but also to have some control over when you want to activate it.

That is something that I wanted to ask myself as well. I left it blank because I am not so sure about which number values would make it balanced.

But if the perk is changed this way it would definitely make its usefulness double. It makes me curious how many people would use it

  • @Vetrathene said:

I just think they should let killers have 6 perks all the time, as they have to go against the equivalent of 16 perks vs there 4 currently. It would help them out immensely, especially considering survivors have much stronger perks to choose from then killers.

That would get a lot of killer perks nerfed so nty

  • @Okoru said:

LOL Insidious isn't that strong. I don't think it needs a nerf. Stop trying to nerf killers.

    Quoi?

I uh... I think you need to read my post a bit more in depth... 🤔🤭

  • @oxygen said:

Sounds pretty spooky, I'd love to at least try it.

I already love the one in a million matches where insidious is used for something else than camping, like a killer predicting a survivor will return to a gen and jumping them out of stealth as a result. Every time it happens I wonder how the killer can even walk around the map with their gigantic brain 😄

    Truly a 1% chad

  • @ChiTenshi said:

Think it might be a small detail BHVR need to add to the Undetectable description XD

They could do this xD. I just hope the thread gets acknowledged by them and answer If it's foreseeable to make this change to the perk. I think it would be pretty fun this way rather than standing still and waiting until gens are complete

  • Billy being nerfed is fake news.

Add-ons maybe, but he is the most balanced killer in the game rn

  • @[Deleted User] said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1137462#Comment_1137462

But scaring the crap out of survivors returning to a gen they were previously repairing is just far too funny though.

I will give you this one because it is pretty funny. Makes for a nice meme.

Still, it would definitely see the perk being used more this way. Just another way to shake up the meta some more.

  • @ChiTenshi said:

    That's a significantly better change.

Camping is still an option but with a limit on how long you can camp with stealth, and with a sensible restriction so you can chain hook to achieve perma-stealth.

Removing the stand still requirement encourages the Killer to not camp (use the stealth to try and catch someone else), and makes the perk more flexible with builds.

My only suggestion would be having the undetectable status disable after hitting someone or being stunned.

I was also thinking that at some point, but I decided it was best to not put it up because Tinkerer and Dark Devotion works this way as well.

  • Oh and kudos to @DudeDelicious for reminding me the perk still exists and is still a pretty pointless perk atm lmao

  • God I hate these types of threads where people just tie in the ruin nerf as the source of the game's problems.

"Oh yeah because Ruin got nerfed I can't play casually I have to try harder." - Legit the reason why it was nerfed, little effort from Killer side made it fun to play, now that the boosted killers who relied on it like a crutch were the first to complain about it. 80%... such an insane stat, I'm glad the perk is "nerfed".

"The only reason this perk is used so much is because the devs won't do anything about gen speeds" - No. If we take a look at gen speed changes you will find that there are more healthy gen speed changes than there are unhealthy ones. The main reason why it's hard to touch on this, is because it isn't the main problem people say it is due to YouTube and streamer bandwagons. The perk was used so much because it gave Killers such an easy time and it stopped 3+ survivors on a gen. However, this wasn't even relevant in red ranks, where the totem would either be found in 10 seconds or survivors just power through it.

To the topic at hand from the OP. These screenshots are horribly explained, but one guy who DMs you he's done playing killer when most likely he's coming back in April isn't proof to anything.

We can take breaks from either side but let's face it; In the end you end up coming back and play it because this game is very unique for each side, and we are capable of making our own fun.

The reason Queue times are long for any side IS NOT because of less killers, more survivors. It has very minimal effects on matchmaking.

As a superior connoisseur of the EST alpha time zone, my queue times are near instant compared to beta EU potatornet. The only times my queues have been high would be when I am playing with 2 or more friends ( 3+ SWF) or when there's an issue with either the Game Servers, or my ISP.

The issue will always be Wait Time vs Match Quality. Figure out which of these is most important to you, then ask yourself the right questions

There ARE more survivors so therefore survivors can be 4x as toxic as killers. You can’t combine survivor toxicity together and suggest that they’re less toxic than killers - that’s not how it works! That is some backass logic there.

I'm not getting at Killers being the most toxic at all.

What I'm getting at is that there are 4... as I said before. This question isn't very good because it's painting one side as evil when the true answer is that there are just toxic players who play this game... both sides.

Typically the Survivors have more options in terms of demonstrating toxicness so It wouldnt be surprising to find a killer main who just wants to be toxic for the night and just chooses to play survivor for it.

See what I mean? There's just no real answer to this question. There are toxic players in DBD, period . It's not one side or the other

Look here, in the forums any opinions given by a new survivor are bait, get used to it.

And threads by new Killers are just about the same right

  • Sadly people have less accountability for this but you have to take it this way.

There are FOUR survivors and only ONE killer. So, naturally you will see survivors being more toxic because simply there's more of them in a match.

The people above my comment should rethink their answer if they take into account a 4:1 Ratio

  • Hi new person completely new to the forums and who may not be possibly using an alternative account to dodge an account ban!
