Please for the love of god and whatever is there in the afterlife, nerf clown, he is so broken that i cannot even enjoy the game when i go against him, his hindered effect is too broken and i believe it should be completely nerfed to the ground, if killer mains have the right to cry about our perks as survivors we have the right to cry about their abilities, so please, NERF HIM TO THE GROUND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
"Pls nerf one of the worst killers in the game because I just have no clue how to play the game properly"... Out of all the killers in the game want the clow to be nerfed? I get that people find the cloud effect annoying because it can cause motion sickness or something like that, but the hindered? Clow sucks, it is in the bottom 25% of killers and you want him nerfed?

I mean, different monitors even offer different brightness, I have 2 monitors, and my left one is far brighter than the other one, so it cheating? I don't think setting your brightness higher or lower or doing other stuff with your graphics card programm is cheating. If the game just does not offer settings to make its maps reasonably visible then I guess people have to use those programs. Scratchmarks for some reason became worse to follow over the last few years and with Borgo we have a map where you often cannot see scratchmarks in the distance, so there should either be a color rework or if not the community needs to help itself to see something on this map and other. May I remind you of the upstairs rooms in the main building of garden of joy where you literally could not see anything? And it took them several months to fix that issue. Survivors could literally be right in front of you and you could not see them. As long as it only gives visibility in the sense of you can see things better that are visible anyway all of this is fine, but when it gives you an advantage of seeing things that you should not see because they are behind objects or other ridiculous things then we have crossed the line.
-
I would not change Ghostface brown addons, I think it is a really good thing that they started making brown addons actually being good, they might even be some of his strongest addons, but that's fine, they are not too strong and only number tweaks...
The ultra fast pallet break on Blight is probably still too much even on its own.
Freddy is fine I guess, but I would make an exception from the hindered when in chase.... Because otherwise he can just chase you long enough for hindered to kick in and then make you eventually go down even if he wouldn't have gotten it without that. Waking up during chase won't be a thing I guess...
-
I play both mostly equally, but there is a seperat poll section for things like this... So you might as well use that.

How long will we endure bullying? Just tell me if there are any plans for Wesker/Blight/Nurse?
I bled for 3 minutes before she hung me. It's a cruel waste of time, not a game
Getting bled on the floor is not killer specific, so what exactly has it to do with those 3 killers?
-
Fully agree it is just ridiculous, I cannot think of a single other game where I cannot at least turn the profanity filter off, but then again DBD is very special when it comes to turning annoying things off.
-
I think taking a kills as win requirement is not really saying much, getting a 2k could just be a facecamping bubba with slowdown perks or something similar, so for myself I always think of hook stages. 8+ hook stages is a win for the killer, between 6 and 8 it is a draw (if they are somewhat evenly spread), below that is a loss.
For survivor it is about getting out through the door, hatch does not count, all gens have to be completed and I would also differ between a win for the team and for the single player. Getting out is a win for the player getting your team out and sacrificing yourself is a win for the team.
The reason I don't use hook stages on survivor as a win condition is because it is basically a ressource for the survivors just like pallets and it can be a good play to take a hook stage for someone dead on hook, therefore I don't necessarily consider it a bad thing to get hooked, if it helps the team.

that is terrible. myer's is all about stalking someone and mori them. they trying to make him as canonical as possible. in practice, myers should not be playing around hooks. he should be playing around stalking. tombstone and judith tombstone is what makes myer's unique.
it should be based around stalking survivors to red while survivor does not notice you. if you stalk them long enough. you can kill them with 0 hooks.
i think his add-on should be base-kit but he would need some changes to base-kit to make any sense. for example, tier 1/2/3 should be manual so you can excessive stalk in tier 2 for the mori. without manual activation, your TR would blow your cover for stalking.
another change that would need happen is that when Myer's is selected as killer, the obsession icon is not shown to the survivors. an idea could be that when he mori's someone, a random person becomes obsession and that person is fully stalked so you can instant-kill them.
this would allow him to mori entire team because manually stalking entire team as fully depleted would take too long. T1/T2/T3/T4/T5 should be like passive bonuses. like the more he stalks, the stronger he becomes in the chase. perhaps he starts at normal m/s, normal lunge, normal vaulting speed, but every tier up to say 5 tiers... he gains more lunge, more lunge speed, more movement speed, more vault speed and more pallet break speed. I think that is kinda what the design they were going for him. stalk as side instant-kill mechanic with passive bonus that build up as he stalks. he kinda has that old sadako problem of add-on dependent + not that good power.
these are just ideas for how myer's could work.
Killers that just ignore hooks are always problematic and being able to just insta kill someone is always miserable, it does not really matter if it is lore accurate, if it's miserable to play against it should not be implemented...
I however like the idea of giving him more bonuses for more stalking, that would be way better.

I started doing better when I got rid of it and focused on either gen regression or tracking perks. I think NOED is the most notable example of confirmation bias in this game. People only remember the match that they died because of NOED, and not the matches in which it made no difference.
I mean fair, but then again how often does it happen that an otherwise baby killer gets multiple kills just because of noed? Ofc you will remember those games better because the guy got destroyed the entire game and maybe 2-3 hooks and then got lucky because of one perk.

It isn’t a good perk. In my experience as both survivor and killer, those type of games usually end in 1-2k for the killer. It is very rare that the killer gets everyone because of NOED.
The question is what would the killer have gotten if he didnt have noed but a different perks? Many times the killer only manages to get those 1-2 kills because he had noed, I mean thats pretty huge for a perk if it basically gives you on 1-2 kills on average..

I will describe what "genrushing" is most commonly described as when salt is not involved.
Survivors are ignoring all other objectives, including killer specific in a desperation to finish all generators as quickly as possible. Multiple survivors also running builds that contain toolboxes+BNPs and Hyperfocus+Stake out type perks is also "genrushing", as long as they sit on the generators.
If survivors spray to clear Wesker's uroboros, they are not genrushing.
Survivors favoring an unhook over finishing a generator is NOT genrushing.
A build is not required to be "genrishing", but without a genrush build the term is very narrow.
I agree with that, it is basically prioritising generators over everything else no matter how stupid it may be to do so... Like literally letting someone die on first hook just to finish the first gen on the opposite site of the map. But I don't think it requires a build.
For example imagine survivors not healing against stealth killers or Oni and some other stuff that is just objectively bad plas in favor of doing gens.

So killers focusing their objecive is toxic compared to survivors doing it? Thanks for agreeing with my point, i guess.
May i inquire whats expected of killers if not "kill survivors"?
It is not about doing the objective itself, it is about how you do it... And this is where I say there is no variation in holding m1 on a generator, whereas killer has the choice how to play.
I would still say it is not always the best decision to just tunnel the first survivor out you see, and it has its advantages to juggle two of them.
-
To keep things unbalanced because of steam achievement seems to be a bad idea, they removed the dmogorgon adept and put something else in, they could do the same with the myers mori achievement, I don't see a problem there.
-
@Raptorrotas said:
The difference between tunneling/killrushing and genrushing/gentunneling is the community survivor bias telling every that its bad when the killers do it and fine/normal when survivors do it.
Lol.
I would rather say that there is no toxic way of holding the left mousebutton on a generator since that is what is expected of you and you cannot really do anything else about it gameplay wise whereas as killer you have the decision of how you play the game do you camp tunnel and so on.

That's weird, I agree there is nothing wrong with it.
-
Myers stalk is basically as fast as Ghostface when you are close enough, if you play Myers wrong and stalk from way too far then yes it is slow.
Myers just works differently since everyone is getting exposed. Also the running out of power is an outdated mechanic, I agree, but then again I play him quite frequently and never ever have I ran out of stalk... You can get up to 7 t3s and I basically never needed that many...
It s true hat can't be stealth while they are exposed but then again you only use t3 when you re gonna get the hit right now and until then you have a really small heartbeat, getting a 2nd down in the same t3 is nice but the first one is what matters.
Yeah his addons should get reworked to some degree, especially the movements peed while stalking, since it is entirely useless, but while we re at it he also has tombstone which is busted and should be removed (the purple tombstone piece) the iri one also stupid in my opinion but not even close to the other one.

Ah yes, Resi giving you 9% gen repair speed because you took a hit 5 minutes ago, you're in so much "trouble" when the killer is on the other side of the map while you crank out gens. did that happen to be the last gen in the match? alright heres adrenaline, giving you a free healthstate + Sprintburst effect, again because you're in so much "trouble" from that scary killer on 2 continents away.
Lets go over the perks you mentioned.
NOED - hex perk, can be clensed, hex location is revealed to survivors, survivors can pre-emptively cleanse all totems if noed is that concerning, only activates after all the gens are done, if the gens dont all pop, you wasted a perk slot.
Enduring - Really bruh... less stun duration is a "comeback perk"?
Bitter murmur - ah yes, my favorite comeback perk, lets you see auras of survivors near a completed gen (then again, if the gen is completed you know they are there, so worthless effect) you get to see the survivors aura's for 10 seconds after the last gen pops.... so good... /s
Coup - 2 longer reach swings whenever a gen is completed... wooo such a comeback!
----
Compare this with MFT and resi ... "Hey you got inevitably hit? heres 3% speed bonus and 9% action speed on everything
yeah, doesn't seem "equal" does it...
If the gens don't pop you already won the game so no wasted perk slot. If they cleanse all totems you got additional 70+ s to try to win the game. Sounds pretty good to me.
-
As for the tunneling argument being the best strategy I would disagree there because I think it is better to juggle between two survivors for several reasons: 1. The probability of anti tunneling perks coming into effect is drastically lower, and if they still do you know that this survivor was useless to their team for a bigger amount of time 2. You have more pressure while one survivor is on the hook and 3. You still have someone else to go for in case that survivor reaches a really strong setup where you cannot chase him without loosing an exorbitant amount of time (Saloon main building or other really strong buildings).
As for the term Gen rushing again what I think is also a problem is that it is not that easy to spot, tunneling is fairly easy to spot, going for the survivor that just got unhooked and so on. But how would you as killer know what objective they did and what not? Maybe the survivors are just very time efficient or maybe you underestimate the time you chased one survivor... This leads to various situations where it is called genrushing while not being it.
-
I mean sure that is a weird interaction, but how often does this happen? When you get the 4th hit don't you just hit that person again? And since they are already in deep wound they cannot have endurance, so in theory I see it as problematic, but in practise that should basically never happen.

I'm asking this because a friend of mine hates facing pinhead because he is apparently impossible to understand from the survivors perspective meanwhile I heard from another of my friends that Pinhead is easy to counter and that he is a weak killer
What is "impossible to understand from the survivors perspective" ? His power is not really complicated, but if there are understanding issues, just watch a guide or look up his stats in the wiki. Pinhead is in the upper half when it comes to strenght his. He is better against solos especially because they cannot communicate who will go for the box which leads to the killer having a better chance of getting a chainhunt or just finding the box whereas coordinated survivors have no issue against him in that regard.

No you don't need a build to genrush the same way you don't need a build to tunnel.
It doesn't matter whether the survivors believe totems and chest and w.e. are worth their time or not, the fact of the matter is they're still ignoring them in favor of gens.
The killer doesn't feel like it's worth their time to delay their kill to go chase someone else or kick a gen or w.e.
Does that make it not tunneling? No, they're still doing it regardless.
I didn't miss anything, that part is irrelevant. Its not about pressure its about the players doing its decision to do so. The killer camping or not doesn't change that the survivors are deciding to focus the gens. It might personally push you into deciding to do it, but you're still doing it.
Of course multiple survivors working on the same gen isn't genrushing, as I said earlier I specified splitting up is. Working on the same gen slows you down, actively detrimental. At least until the end where there's only 1-2 gens left to do.
I think you don't know what you're talking about. Cool now that's canceled out and we can drop ad hominem arguments ty.
You're kind of off here mate, Generators are their main objectives, not doing optional things that might not do anything for them is supposed to be gen rushing? Come on dude... That would be the same as saying if the killer does not kick every breakalbe door on a map he is kill rushing... Just because it is a side objective does not mean you need to do it, if you play efficient you only do what is necessary to reach your goal, escape. By your definition every survivor team that is just doing gens and then leaving is gen rushing... This does not make any sense. Prioritising gens is literally their goal, the survivors would be doing something wrong if they would do all 5 totems just for the sake of it... Let's say they know all the killers perks, because they are fairly obvious to see, they know have 0 reasons to do the totems, except for the bp, and you're saying they are gen rushing now? Because a. they all have items, so no reason to open chests b. no hex perks or boons or potential noed is in the game so no reason to do totems...
Instead of that you can just say they are genrushing because they are not just standing around doing nothing (usefull) for 70 seconds... Like what do you expect people to do? xD

So again, it isn't a Nurse issue. We have come back to the match making issue.
The average Nurse player of which is probably 90% of the playerbase can be countered. If you run into one of the top Nurse players it is no different then a top any killer, it just ends quicker because she can skip past all your pallets and loops.
There is nothing wrong with her, there is obviously something wrong matchmaking and that's been a common theme in every thread on this forum.
Fully agree, the problem with the concept of matchmaking in this game is also that the ability to be good in chase does not entirely correlate with the ability to escape, that and that the game does not have enough really good player to allow them to have proper matchmaking results in basically no better matchmaking than the old emblems systems these days the mmr rating in games is widely spread but at least the game can tell you fairly accurate who will win wow what a great accomplishment...

it takes longer for a killer to find a new chase then it takes for survivor from 4vs1 perceptive to unhook someone and heal them. the time waste is minimal. How long do you think it takes for huntress to leave hook and find new different chase? 30 seconds? how long does it take for survivor to be 20-25 meters away from the hook to run to the hook for unsave? 5 seconds? 10 seconds? also survivor do not need to heal but healing allows you to hold-w for 20 seconds which is 20x3 when your glued to gens. your always positive or massively positive if the killer is taking longer then 16 seconds to injure. healing just requires game-sense and coordination to know when to do it.
Yes still so what? What else would they do if not gens? And when it is a clever tactical desicion not to heal i would still not call it genrushing since you're just playing rather optimal that's like saying to a killer that they have quick chases, I don't see a problem with being clever about how to do the objective.
Sure the point is correct, but I don't see how it correlates to genrushing, since practically all you're saying is the killer needs to be quick with downs to get enough pressure to keep them from doing gens, but at this point there are regression perks, chase powers, map mobility information perks and all those things to cut down chase time and make survivors take longer for their objective, I still don't see how this has anything to do with gen rushing?
Like I explained before I would call genrushing mindlessly doing gens without tactic or thinking about their position, possibly even 3 genning the survivors in the most negative way, in the sense of it actually hurting the team. Let me give you an example 1 guy is in a chase, one guy is injured and currently healing and also dead on hook and 1 guy is doing a gen at 5 % total... If this guy now does not get the unhook he would be genrushing, since he prefers that objective over the best option, let's also make it more obvious and say the guy is basically right next to the hook and the healing survivor is on the other side of the map, there is no reason for him to not unhook first, it actually hurts the team to stay on the gen without doing it.

remember i said it is 3 survivors glued to gens. difference is number. doing gens is part of the game for survivor. you do not need to think about it. there is nothing wrong with it. is it balanced for survivor to have 3 people on gens the entire game? that is a different discussion.
But thats why you have to get them off of gens by having one hooked, one going for unhook and one in chase... That is your goal as killer to keep them off of gens... If they are allowed to just sit 3 guys on gens 1 in chase the entire game of course gens are going crazy fast? I don't understand the point... You cannot really call it gen rushing if you cannot pressure the off of gens, bc what else are they supposed to do?

So, when one survivor is getting chased, what do you propose the other 3 survivors do?
do gen of course. gen-rushing is just naturally part of survivor gameplay. I think you can honestly do all 5 gens in 5-6 minutes depending on the map type/map size without any items. the perks boost speed have nothing to do with that. they exaggerate it. the reason why killer dislike those perks is because those perks promote gen-rushing.... i mean it makes sense. you are equipping a perk to be glued to gens.. because you gain benefit for being glued to gens. your tunneling the objective.
I think main benefits of tunneling is the shortcut to the killer objective. for example, if every chase is 45 second long, anyone can do math behind 7x45 and 12x45. that is why killer tunnel because the second way is unrewarding. tunneling off hook is one of main ways to tunnel as killer but tunneling as a whole is ignoring X survivors and focusing Y survivors. certain killers have incredible chases and can chase survivor anywhere on the map so they might use tunneling as form of gen defence.
But then what is the difference between gen-rushing and just doing gens?

do not compare me with people for whom dbd it's work. I'm talking about Otz and others. Wesker is as easy to learn and strong as possible, it does not bring any fun. if he was in 1 game out of 10, everyone would be "fun", but I'm already tired of him, like many others. experienced Nurse has no counterplay, especially if you are with random players, which are the majority. this dialogue does not make sense, so I end
Why should I not compare you based on the amount of hours? Also as far as I know Hens already put a lot of hours into it before he made streaming his job, same goes for comp players, they don't earn enough with it to make it "their job" so what is even your point?
I think Wesker is easy to learn the basics of but has some depth in it with all of his techs. Some killers are just unfun to against not matter how often you encounter them, or would a 3 genning skull merchant be fun to go against if it was only 1 time every 100 games?
That comment about nurse makes no sense basically because if a killer has counterplay or not most of the time does not depend on your team, the counterplay should be available in chase, if you have a bad team against an oni and the baby dwight just gives him his power in ten seconds you will probably loose the game if the oni knows what he is doing, but oni still has counterplay, baby dwight just didn't play safe to deny onis power...
Saying a killer has no counterplay if you are playing with people who have no clue how the game works is a ridiculous argument. From their perspective that's true, but since they have no clue how the game works everything has no counterplay what do you expect? There are many people that don't know that Legion can grab you out of a locker while in ferral frenzy and you expect them to be to know in depth about 32 killers? I don't think the problem is that certain counterplay is too much it is just that people don't take time to learn how to play against certain things, but you cannot help that. If you don't spend some time to get better how can you complain that you loose?

I don't need your guides dude. I have 6 thousand hours in this game since 2018. I could make my own tier-list of killers, I could write guides and shoot videos of my games. these are public matches, not real money esports games, so some things need to be fixed, like Wesker in 2 out of 3 games
Also I would say there always needs to be a certain depth to gameplay when you want to keep players longtime, so there should be a lot of things that require time to learn, for example certain techs on killers and survivors if you don't have stuff like that you can spend time in learning the game would become boring incredibly fast. I'm sure it takes a lot of time to become a good survivor and killer but I don't think that is something bad, I'm sure there are a lot of things that could be done to make it easier for players to aquire that skill, maybe have a 1v1 mode so you can practise against a certain killer easier or having a centralized platform that contains guides for the techs and tricks you can do or killer and survivor guides on checkspots or how to run certain buildings. Yeah sure those things don't really apply to nurse and you cannot always do the same thing against her, but I like that you have to try different things and figure out which ones work against that specific player.

If you have 6 k hours, which is probably similar to the amount of hours Hens or Otzdarva has, why are you still having problems with Nurse? Against way less experienced players?
Also Wesker in 2 out of 3 games are you serious? The reason people play Wesker is because he is both fun to play and quite strong, what do you want to do about people playing a certain killers? I mean yeah sure it would be great if many killers where as popular as Wesker. But that would require more killers to be on a level with Wesker when it comes to what makes him popular. I totally would not mind, Wesker is great to go against and play.

Oh so a poll decides what the developer wants to do next? She already got changed like 5 months ago, do you really think she will get touched in the near future? There bigger problems now: Bad map design, Blights Addons, Bad chase musics, that give people headaches, Skull Merchant and many more... Nurse is probably gonna stay the way she is for quite some time now.

Clown is probably one of the top 7 weakest killers in the game and strong tiles work against him perfectly fine, weaker pallets must get pre-dropped and you will get a hit, just how he works, but besides that he has nothing, no mobility, no map pressure, he is just not a good killer.

Well you´re not supposed to do all 5 totems alone. There are 3 other survivors that could totemhunt. IF there was an actual incentive to do them. Which we simply haven´t got. As totem perks are kinda weak and it shows. No one does bones. Everyone does gens only.
Obviously, but you're also not doing all 5 gens on your own but it is still so much additional time spend in the game before you leave through the gates... While gens are rather easy to spot outside of indoor maps it is really rough sometimes to find all totems.
But I agree on the second point it would be nice if you actually had an incentive to do them.

There is no such thing as counterplay for a good nurse. You are going down quickly regardless of how good you are. The only way to beat a good nurse is to be in discord and have comp level efficiency on gens which 99.999% of survivors don't have. The fact that DBD has basically no functional matchmaking system doesn't help with the frustration of playing against nurse. If sweaty nurses were only matched with 5k hour survivors who play in SWFs then it wouldn't be a big deal. At least then they'd be cut off from the casual players who stand zero chance against her. This hasn't happened since Behavior is terrified of putting sweaty players into games with other sweaty players for whatever reason. OP killers should have much stricter matchmaking than they currently do. That would solve a lot of the problems.
The matchmaking isn't stricter because a. Killer variety: you would only get nurse Blight spirit and b. There are just not enough good players there was a time when mmr was first introduced where dowsey waited for like 2 hours in queue with twins and couldn't find a game...
As for the counterplay there really aren't that many good nurses in this game... This is the entire problem with matchmaking not working properly 99% of players are just not that good... You will not encounter a really good killer player that often... But sure if you get Knightlight Nurse or Alf the game ends in two to five minutes with nothing you could have done... But the game just does not have that many top players and most of them play scrims and 1v1 only because matchmaking is so bad they won't get practise from normal games. Just watch comp games with nurse and then compare it to the footage of Nightlights 500 no perks addons nurse streak, there is stuff you can do in chase to delay her, almost all people are just not able to apply it because for survivor side goes the same, most people are just not good at the game.

You could do totems to prevent NOED!
Ahh who am i kidding... with the implemented aura reading there is no point in doing totems as NOED can be found so easily if its actually around.
Doing all the totems takes 70 seconds alone additionally finding them all takes way longer unless you have perks or a map to find them, in the end you would spend a somewhat equivalent amount of time doing dulls for maybe no reason (perhaps you already know what perks the killer has) than you would have to complete at least one or even two gens.
Also not stacking on gens is most of the time just the better play, you don't have lowered efficiency the killer doesn't stop two people from doing gens if he finds the Gen you and another person are on. Most people being items to the game so there is no reason to do chests totems are only worth the time if there are perks in play like hexes or boons and following the chase to eventually take a hit most of the time just is a bad play unless you are a swf and in comms... Bc first how do you know the person needs a hit to be taken, how do you know where you need to take a hit etc. It is just a colossal waste of time to just follow the chase in case you eventually need to take a hit. It has nothing to do with Genrushing when you just sit on a generator by yourself... 3 guys on gens 1 in chase is normal, because literally what else are they supposed to? The side objectives are basically worthless and almost throwing the game because of how time consuming they are while not giving you any value besides blood points.
-
The problem with calling genrushing "glued to gens" is that doing gens is survivors main objective, what else are they supposed to do? Dull totems? Unless they need to unhook or depending on playstyle/killer heal there is basically nothing else to do than gens.
Genrushing is more of an unhealthy playstyle where you let people go 2nd stage or even die on hook just to finish a Gen and similar things. While this can be the right choice in certain situation, for example breaking a 3 Gen, when referring to it as genrushing it is more or less meant as not a smart tactical decision.

He's either oppressive in some areas (low walls/cover) and basically useless in others. Theres no depth playing as him, or against him. He also has the same issue that OG Legion used to have, in the sense that if a Trickster wants you down, youre going to go down regardless of how good you are.
Coming from an ex Trickster main btw.
Yeah, thats basically the flaw of his general design being similar to huntress but having way more knives than she has hatchets.

And I'm fine the way Trickster is
Doesn't mean he's not problematic for the LARGE majority of the community, same can be said for Nurse and several other killers
What is wrong with Trickster? Besides the point where is just a less skillfull huntress and does not do any tricks like his name would suggest...

Exactly, shes a flat line the entire game but is higher than a good chunk of killers. Wanna know the last killer that was even remotely close to the same? OG Legion.
Its not about Survivors needing to change it up to go against her, its about their one resource given to them being basically useless thanks to a power that is fundamentally flawed and has 0 requirements to activate. The absolute worst part is you can 100% make an argument that Nurse is better than all the "power up" killers when their power is active
Myers - Enough said
Plague - Needs to go out of her way to get her power, can be taken out of her power, fairly map dependent
Oni - Slightly worst mobility with the trade off of an insta down, only killer who could actually stand up to Nurse if he was in power for the entirety of the game, but is limited to a 45 second timer (which becomes shorter when hitting Survivors and dashing)
Trickster - Limited mobility, very map dependant
Nemesis - Great at staying on a Survivor as he is the Relentless Pursuer. Nurse does it better as the ######### is a wall/pallet
Pinhead - Power isnt necessarily controlled by him and offers little in chase, just passive slow down
Dredge - Very map dependant
Singularity - Limited in its usage and has a slow start up
There is no reason for a killer to better than basically all of these killers at their strongest with no activation requirement.
You could even say that she is not a flat line but gets stronger as by more gens being done the effective map size shrinks, since there is not really a need to go to places without chases.
But besides that it is a good thing that you cannot really burn through resources against nurse, would be terrible if she could just delete entire line of sight blockers...

She's overpowered and breaks the game. Anyone saying otherwise is literally just wrong. She's not even hard, learn Blink and you just win every single game. If you get good enough at 1 thing you auto win the game, that's not okay.
Why is her kill rate so low then if she is so easy to play and completely broken? Why does Nurse not always win in comp, why does an ordinary player not win against a comp team as Nurse? You should not be so fast to use absolutes when making a point... Nurse has things you can do against her to delay her long enough to win the game, and there is still a big difference in skill when it comes to playing the Nurse, most Nurse players are just not good and you can outplay them rather easily. The amount of God nurses is really not that high overall...

Just for clarity, when I said with addons I meant with all addons, included the strongest one, so basically when it comes to the full potential of the killer.

I disagree with that. Blight has problematic add-ons for sure but even with them he can't beat the Nurse.
A few months ago shortly after the Nrse addon change Hens333 and his friends made a showcase for Nurse VS Blight and they basically came to the conclusion that without addons Nurse is stronger than Blight, but with addons Blight is a lot stronger than Nurse since her addons don't really make her that much more powerful.
Blight has some tiles that he cannot outplay with his power and needs to break the pallet, but in relation to the total amount of pallets in a map it is like 1-3 pallets at most, similar to MDR Spirit. But then again some tiles, mostly houses also offer far more counterplay against nurse because of the many different paths you can take.
Even before most of her good addons got removed the difference in strength was not that big between Nurse and Blight, and now with addons he is the best killer in the game.

Noed definitely needs some changes, it's entirely in the hands of the survivors
At the very least it gives you some slowdown? And if you cannot apply enough pressure to win the game before endgame with time that is almost equivalent to the time of a sixt generator then I don't think you deserve to win against those people or maybe got unlucky with the map or just picked a bad killer, but I don't think it is in the hands of the survivors in the sense you're refering to.

I'd argue 120s NOED is more problematic than totem based NOED. Lets you secure a kill from start to finish, with no counterplay, as well as a second kill, if you combine it with NWO at max stacks.
Which was exactly my point... It basically guarantees you a kill with no way around it since you can just facecamp the guy you just hooked.

You could, I don't know, cleanse the totem maybe?
The only change I could agree with to NOED is making it two totems and reducing the visibility of the totems. It's only problematic when killer has a hook on the NOED.
Yes exactly thats my point and why I wouldn't want it to be not totem related but 120 seconds. You should have read the rest of the conversation instead of just assuming stuff...

I have seen it more than once. And I disagree, there are pallets in every corner. The main difference with the old map is loops don't link to the next one.
There are so many deadzones with just nothing around I don't know if I just had several bad rngs in a row or what but i had like 4-5 deadzones every single time.

Artificial dead zones? Which map in DBD anno 2023 has deadzones by default? There are even pallets on the edges now, lol.
Have you seen the new Cowshed? For whatever reason it has a whole lot of deadzones now with absolutely nothing.
-
I don't think we are currently discussing whether or not that is the case but rather that you maybe should be able to do something about such a perk to counterplay it?

Survivors hold LMB well and are rewarded with Hope or Adrenaline. I was waiting for the endgame - I played badly. well, don't be silly if you're trying to justify the deplorable state of the perk with my poor performance.
You can call survivor gameplay whatever you want, but they did their objective until endgame and killer didn't do his until then... Also waiting for the endgame seriously?
I think the perk is its most healthy state yet, you get massive slowdown if survivors decide to get rid of all totems and otherwise you get noed, it is a win win situation. I would like it if there were more reasons to cleanse dull totems besides noed.

@Pavel_Ch said:
how about making it a non-totem perk? Survivors already have an unrestricted countermeasure in the form of Hope. give us 120 seconds as before. it would be fair. I also played trapper without one perk the whole game, and swf cleared all the totems on the map, as a result, in the end game I remain without a perk, and they are with Hope. it's not fair
NOED will basically always activate or you never need it if you already won before getting to endgame whereas survivors don't always finish all 5 gens to get value out of their endgame perks. Basically they get endgame value because they did something to make it that far, whereas the killer can go afk until all 5 gens are done and then get value out of it. Also if the survivors had time to do all 5 totems and all gens you cannot really complain, because they wasted extra time to do those totems just so they won't get hit by noed... Totem cleansing time combined is more than another gen, so how much time do you need to win?
