Yeah it’s true you can stretch res on console, but it is literally UNPLAYABLE. The size of stretch res dramatically decreases your screen size for a better FOV while the game remains blurry. If you’re on PS4 you don’t even have the same resolution as an Xbox one X with a 4K monitor so I can’t imaging how blurry it is. The price you pay for stretch res on console is NOT the same as on PC.
You don’t need to own a 3000 PC for better fps. The fps on console is so bad, the reworked maps are even worse. PC has better fps I I have gone to my friends house who has a $600 PC (bottom of the barrel) and the fps is WAY better than even my $500 1ms Sync monitor, simply because I am on console.
You really don’t notice the skillcheck difference? I question which platform you play on because skillchecks of any kind, like ive said, are like butter on PC. You don’t have to time the skillcheck to hit a great like you do on console. It land on the great skill check and you click, that’s how easy it is. It may not be much of a difference to you, but at high gameplay, great skillchecks mean faster heals, gens pop at more efficient times, etc.
Again, high sensitivity may not affect YOU personally, but if you’re playing as Nurse at rank 1 and you can’t spin as fast as a PC player due to your sensitive being capped on console, you’re gonna whif more here and their which any Nurse or even killer player knows, that’s enough to make huge distance by allowing them to make it to a pallet/jungle gym.
you question my platforms?

Do you get FPS drops whenever you get hit by sloppy butcher/noed,someone opening a chest,gaining bloodlust etc. ?
Consistent FPS is honestly the only major advantage PC players have over console
yes but is not a problem tho, I can still track them after hits
-
AFKing and not participating in the match is actually a ban offense stated in the unsportmanlike report reason examples, and the other players wont be able to pip if they cant perform any altruistic or chase emblem progress
-
they call me cheater 10000 times before I can find an actual cheater
-
As PC and PS4 player I can tell you the only easy and cheap advantage is the easier controls for killer. Now I'll proceed to answer your points
-Better FPS? that's true, if you own a 3000$ PC because the optimization didnt get better since a while ago, and it's not an issue for me on ps4 tho. About skillchecks being smoother and easier to hit, I dont get what you mean, but in PC I keep missing them and the timing is not different.
-Ability to see who the killer is in lobby? man that's called hack, it got patched 2 chapters ago when devs encrypted logs. If it has been seen on streamers, well you can just clip and get an easy way to ban them? or drop one clip here so I can see what you say is true?
-Ability to bright the game up? That's true actually, but as I quoted you in a different post, in console (at least for me in ps4) the game isnt as dark as PC can go on high graphics, and ps4 graphics are still very optimal to see and spot stealth/far things.
-Stretch resolution? You got a wrong one here, you can literally have more options to stretch than PC in PS4 in the console settings and the TV display options or just getting a stretched screen.
-Higher sensibility for PC: why do you even complain about the console one, I can't play over 80% with controller
-Audio modifications: uhm you can change audio yes, but you change everything, to mod specific sounds you would have to edit game files... oops, banable and EAC won't let you go through this
-
@Speshul_Kitten said:
If you’re a PC players you can just adjust the lightness/brightness of the game. This makes it easy to deal with the issue.
I actually made a post on how PC players have advantages like this over console players recently.
I have both ps4 and pc, high settings are even darker than ps4 ones but low is brighter. PS4 is in the middle but there's not really any issue

There was 2 types of Legacy. Full price, first buyers and the second release of legacy but it was a bit different. Second one was thanks for playing the game. First Legacy was red outfits. Masks should stay. Otherwise, give me Legacy for Claudette :) They get items that they didn't earn so let me get items that I didn't earn :)
The red outfits could be gained later in the deluxe edition, if I'm not wrong with the cosmetics you mean

Edit: my bad, just saw your second comment explaining what you meant

It's fine when the players had to grind or waste so much to get exclusives so years later they come free for everyone, but noooo devs can't give their own exclusives for free

Seizures can be triggered by flashing lights on someone. It's literally the main way to trigger seizures.
I quote you again due to your edit. You got the text wrongly. It's OP fault but not for that reason, but for not reading the game warnings before purchasing it. Again, read before quoting me thank you.
What I meant in the survivors part is that they have no fault for getting points with a game mechanic anyone should be aware of, and no, that doesnt mean that OP is the one who has the fault (about this reason) don't get things wrong

read paragraph 2 again.
also, forgot to mention that in these last updates the flashlight beam is also changed, making it an opaque drak-white line, not really producing light
-
Jesus they just get some last points before scaping for blinding you which is not even toxic and doesnt look dangerous to cause a seizure knowing:
you didn't mention they click you, so is not the toxic way of triggering, they are just blinding you for points. The blinding FX got updated months ago not to be dangerous and if anything the game itself warns you for this stuff before you buy

Making the matchmaking pool smaller makes it worse. The game before I posted this was 4 red rank swf with crossplay off
if there are more xbox players with crossplay on means most of the players like and support it, but again, while you have the option to desactivate it, you cant complain about it
-
just saying, you can disable crossplay, that's your mistake, you can't complain
-
Yes, it's related to linking bhvr account, DO NOT UNLINCK, some people lost everything.
Bassically what I did is that the rank 20 person is my new account I had to create and allow library share to install the game. I added from here my crossfriend and my main account. With my main I invite my alt from the laptop, and when I joined the lobby, I invite my crossfriend.
Ridiculous that I have to do this each time we play, specially when one of us gets an usual error that kicks you from the party lobby.
-
I believe in the addon text it doesn't say "can't be stacked" (like it says in the description of shadowborn and monitor about fov) but I don't read doctor addons, too much text, I always put 2 random addons of the same quality.
-
I wouldnt believe they took 45 minutes to find a key in a chest and get out

You have two options...
Heal yourself then hide
Hide then heal yourself
You then have other perk options...
Unbreakable
Soul Guard
No Mither
4 minutes for you to bleed out isn't 10 minutes
To visit toilet and feed dog or to even think about DCing shows you don't want to play that or this game, I can only think you aren't thinking much of other players experiences and being a team player as a survivor.
Games have ups and down please learn that, DCing/AFKing isn't fun for others.
Sure I'll depend on 2 perks every single match for just a probable situation.
And no, thinking about DCing is not denying to play the game, it is wanting to play the game. What are you talking about? Whan can I play on the floor and no one coming for me?

Why is the killer "sweating" for his 4k? I get it if they just slug everyone from the start but this is clearly last gen or two and the killer just wants to win. Thatd be like saying if the gates are open with 4 survivors about to leave one should stay behind and die because they are sweating for a 4escape
Read again my post and comments. 4 gens left to be done.

@Ecstasy said:
Every other sentence is a whirlwind of #########.
Slugging can sure be annoying for sure, but are you really complaining about an endgame slug to try and find the last survivor? Seems incredibly obvious. Remember that hatch thing? It's also a gamble typically: maybe it ends up in the 4K, but it risks 2 people making it out alive instead of just one... and could damn near guarantee that one will get out. When they're camping the downed party, that's a lot more time (and much safer) hunting down the hatch.
This attitude is exactly why the DC punishment should never go away. That's not okay.
And who is "we" by the way? I'm inferring that you're also playing in SWF.... wait, was your friend the last survivor here too? Because if they could tell by your play style that you're SWF, then no wonder they camped. That's usually a guarantee the bait works, and if not then chances are that one of you will have seen hatch already anyhow.
I'm gonna take a guess: you use voice-communication too, right? That doesn't change these points here, but I just love reminding people how totally fun and fair it is when the other players get to effectively cheat with unlimited/instant communication in a game where players can't even type messages to each other normally....
You are still salty about it now so I don't know why you're pretending you're not. It's also creepy that you followed him out of the game at all, and that question is clearly just pretext for whatever confrontation you intended. Don't do that, man. Just... don't. (PS: Also maybe double check your grammar in any sentence about someone insulting your grammar.)
There's a huge difference between waiting a fixed time and holding the game hostage (and that's by NOT repairing, only hiding endlessly). The former is more like having to wait for people who won't leave the exit gates during EGC. You just accept it an wait because that's part of playing the game.
You don't DC because you've got to wait out the EGC, and you don't DC because of slugs. Hell you don't DC because of SWF using VC even though that's effectively cheating given the game's design and super prone to the sort of toxicity that renders the whole damn match a miserable slog.
My bf plays in a different platform and we cany use any comunication. Neither vc or text, you need both hands to play.
My attitude is "I play dbd to be able to play not to sit waiting on other players to decide my fate sooner or later when I'm not able to do anything, no I dont want tl bring u breakable every match because it doesn't happen every single match but when it does is really frustrating.
About my english, is matter of knowledge, not of checking it, I'm not english.
And ofc I'm quite salty about it, not even pretenging anything, as I said, I came to the streamer's channel as he promoted it on his own name to ask him why he has to ruin our last match in an unfun way for everyone. But of course, it's not a survivor streamer like people usually hate.

@Gay Myers (Luzi) said:
I want to mention: it does not take 10 minutes to bleed out. It's 4 minutes. If you were gone and it took 10 minutes to bleed out in actuality, that means the other survivor has picked you up while you were gone.
I know it is tedious and it can be tiring, but it is a part of the game. It's why there are specific perks designed to work against it or work for slugging (e.g. Unbreakable/Deerstalker). It can be a valid tactic for many situations, but it is not a reason for leaving a game. Leaving the game is intended for emergencies only. There have been several suggestions by people before how to possibly make slugging better and less tedious. I do think there needs to be done something slightly to make it less tedious and a better experience, but it is a part of the game and not something to DC against.
About your last sentence: You can only report that if the intention is to not finish the game. It requires proof for this. You won't be banned for hiding here and there - this rule only counts if the objective is not being done at all, especially if the killer is just standing around somewhere. The intention is very clear here then.
No they didnt pick me I watched the vod
And as I commented later I said yes I was exaggerating but peoole still commenting its 4 minutes without reading.

What am I supposed to do when 4 survivors are sitting around teabagging outside the exit gates?
Lose, that's what. You lost. It sucks. It can be boring. That's how it goes.
are you even unable to play in this situation
-
@TheButcher said:
Stop blaming the killer for adapting to the hatch mechanic. Blame the hatch mechanic for existing forcing Killers to have to slug for their 4k. Like what are you even complaining about? 4 gens left? Of course the killer is going to slug for his 4k, you don't deserve a free win playing that bad.
I dont want a win that was a lose anyways I want to just die and play the game in another match not depending on other players for my unevitable fate
-
@Kees_T said:
While the option to accelerate your bleedout timer is not implemented, you can only accept it.
Both sides have bad moments like these. I don't know your main role, but as a person who only has 2k200 of hours on DBD, I played a lot of Killer and Survivor, and I understand both sides, I don't get mad at it because I would be hypocritic since I had slugged a lot of survivors in the past and had been slugged by other Killers aswell.
Don't blame the Killer, blame the game for allowing such thing to be allowed.
I have the exact same hours and play the same for both sides, but in my poosition if I have no sinlge clue to help me where the last one is I just hook the 3rd guy, and if 4th gets hatch well gg I didnt get thse last 700 points ok, I pipped and got a lot of points already don't need to make this longer for almost nothing of value

@dugman said:

I do agree with you there, being slugged is boring. Personally I'd be for, when the game is down to two survivors, having the death timers move two or three times as quickly. That way it would force either the killer to hook within one or two minutes or force the other survivor to try for a rescue in that time.
ideas simple like this would make the game 100 times more fun, ofc they dont listen to our feedback and they'll just go straight up nerfing perks, get a map cooler than before and call it a day.
