  • She is good killer but as its mentioned in otz video she is hard becasue if you hit one crow and then miss second your previous hit was just waste of effort and time same with unknown but he is compare to artis easier to get hits with and his power has mobility which artist doesnt have just her crows.

For me biggest uknown thing is why jmping ito the locker when survivor is effected by crows is instantly remowed has not been nerfed its just lame feature which nerfs her even more, imagine you hit one crow on survivor in the shack across the map and he jumps into the locker to compleatly negate your hit even the fact artish has just one chance to get the hit and if she misses she gets nothing.

I genuinely have no reason to play this killer anymore aside from just getting fragrant tuft of hair so I can play the killer I actually enjoyed but even then he’s still weaker in this aspect because they reduced his ######### duration to 40 seconds for some reason when in evil incarnate

Not only 40 seconds duration, oni has 45 and looses 7 seconds for down but compare mayers slaughtering strike to onis demon dash and his m1 attack when he is in blood furry mode, he isnt slowed so much and can instadown more easily, has same (no ability to grab or basekit mori survivors that are dead on hook) and even more in blood furry its just like devs fear to make mayers more powerfull the want and then release killer that rivals blight and as some claims even nurse (not now she got some nerfs and will get more next patch or fix whatever will come) which is funny they are doing same things they did in 2017(being scared killer will be too much strong so they buffs were joke).

    • I honestly think it's all about fun. Twins has always been considered a strong killer (in all tier lists, they're always in A), but they're truly a very rare killer. On the other hand, Legion and Myers are considered "weak" killers, but they're truly beloved by the community.

Twins arent fun for me (and many players I believe), legion is good brain turn off just easy and straight playstyle but then you are m1 which can be very hard against good survivors (m1 is one of weakest forms killer can be in), mayers was fun but weak without tombstone but now he got more nerfs and restrictions forevil incarnate mode if you compare it to onis blood furry mode (oni is clear winner, harder to get his power but has more tools in it and its easier) or pursuer mode where his terror radius in increased from 16 meters to 24 only because he got basekit brutal strenght, yeah thats all usefull he got in tier 2 so nerf for buff its only exchange stealth aspect for some chase tool.

  • He is good untill you get solid swf, he is one of the most or even most byllyable killer in the game all survivors need is one guy staring at him to get him out of his power and he is then just m1 killer with nothing, smart survivors which kinda know they are 99 will come for bodyblocks when you want to hook to force m1 to loose your stalk progress on them and even survivors which are downed or hooked can reveal you so even they can counter you.

This wasn't an issue before the new mmr. It was mixed game plays for the most part. Killers and survivors had options of builds and fun killers. You may get some new guys and obliterate them with freddy one game and the next game get obliterated yourself. Don't be upset with blight and nurse, be upset with being forced to play people of your skill level and if your skill exceeds that of fun games against fun killers, it isn't a killer specific issue, it's you and bhvr.

True because now if you get better as survivor and get into high end of mmr there is very little space for other killers exept the top tier killers which are common here. Before mmr you could get super good huntress main with x thousands hours and then game after "baby" nurse that teleported 3 times per whole match and chased you as m1 killer or blue eyes wraith who was looped for 5 gens it was random now the bracket are more restricked who you get against your self.

in my region (Europe) who I face:

    • Frequently: Wesker, Blight, Huntress, Myers (even before the rework), Legion, Billy, Dracula, Kaneki
    • "Normal" Frequency: All other killers in the game
    • Rarely: Trapper, Hag, Twins, Houndmaster, Artist, Skull Merchant

Doesnt surprise me trapper is second worst killer in the game only toped by skullmerchant who was made worst by devs intend, hag is one of rarest killers because all you do is place traps in area creating the "web" and thats all then teleport, hit, again and hook, set a trap and repeat no chase power or something with action just playing some web spider who is just remaking his webb and sits in it or near it thats why she is rare not to mention every patch she is weaker and weaker. Twins are rarest killer in the game with like 2 twins mains because the third one (pixelbrush) left to main merchant, they are best with slugging gameplay and might feel clunky to play as so thats why nobody plays them even they are very strong +a-tier killer. Artist is solid a-tier but all that discribes her can be heard in Otz artist sydrom video like weak old, she has to hit you with one crow and then hit you again or she looses all progress compare to other range killers exept uknown but unknown has more action and chase possibilities with solid mobility, she is easily countered by lockers and elevations or multiple floors, very hard killer for that reasons. Skullmerchant was nuked to be weaker than trapper so theres no reason to play her if you arent her big fan who mains her and has her nice skins.

It's the dilemma of asking developers to buff the weaker killers who need it, but not asking them to adjust the blatantly overperforming killers as well. When Blight can go on a 2k win streak, why should I bother switching off to Pig, Ghostface, or Myers that get changes? A happy medium for all killers would be best for balance.

Idk who can hate this post, its clearly for two reason first is dailes have changed because old one kinda forced you to play different killers for compleating them and second is there are many killers to choose from but the most fun you can ivest your time and skill and have decent outcomes with them even if you arent super good are those few killers its easy why bother mastering bubba who needs beast marks when free billy or blight are right there and they arent addon dependent as bubba is shocking isnt it.

  • @Amanova said:

nothing changes and devs removed anti tunneling

Do they want to remove it in the future?

  • @Disco said:

Usually killers only camp when survivors are camping too.

Most times killer is where survivors are and low or no mobility killers like hag, huntress are the ones you cant go and pull save when they are around, not to mention camping is only possible in endgame where anticamp meter is dissabled but taht ofcourse the author of this post knew that what he means is proxacamp so I gues its just another rage bait they are getting more common here.

  • He is weakest from all forms now in my opinion, best hybrid between his original and the yellow boy but not the best because now you have to use both bottle types to get something out of his power and two previous versions needed 80% of time just one type. If you have big problem with c-tier killer just do gens he doesnt get any solid power or mobility to protect them he is just good in chase and eats pallets and can play around the most with both bottles but thats all he does just c-tier killer one of weakest in the game.

    I get why.

If you are familiar with Artist Syndrome, new Myers is a textbook example, except the power is not even that powerful.

So you have a power that announces itself a lot, is pretty technical, and the result is that Pursuer Mode is better than Evil Incarnate Mode most of the time.

Kinda the root of his power problem he gives survivors more warnings and info about him than oni does but his power is 5 times worse than onis blood furry.

  • @OrangeBear said:

You do not want Pain Res to be nerfed. If you don't want to be tunnelled Pain Res is how killers can keep up.

Pop is better in numbers and in developers goal of killers gameplay forcing him to move from hook but pain res its better in use on most killers for vaurius reasons mainly for better synergy with other strong perks like deadmans switch or grim embrace, second main reason is not all killers can get fast to the gen that needs to be poped like ghostface, trapper, clown and killers like dreadge, freddy, billy can use it quite effectively (the weaker ones I mentioned like dreadge can struggle because they can use it with their mobility but the key part for pop is getting hooks and they struggle with this comapre to billy or blight).

If the Blight nerfs “were not so big”, then it should be fine if BHVR reverted every nerf they’ve ever given Blight, right?

And if BHVR reverted all these nerfs, you wouldn’t complain, because they “were not so big”???????

Blight nerfs werent big because even after his most two key overpowered thing were taken from him which are hug tech (his hug tech made him to be able play at every loop with his power and was easy to pull compare to wesker whos hug tech is just perfect frame time window which is super hard to do), second thing was his original op addons like alchemy ring or compound 33 which were busted. What he had became after this nerfs? He is still top 2 strongest killer in the game so yeah those nerfs were nothing compare to x chucky nerfs or even 2 ghoul nerfs or other killers nerfs.

This rage quit post is just from someone who is missing old blight, personaly I dont after all nerfs he got he is s-tier killer and still second strongest killer in the game who wasnt overthrown by other killers like first version of ghoul, chucky and maybe only one who was able to tie with him almost is krasue before her new nerfs that were implemented today so thats all to your give me old blight rage post.

  • @BOJIK_102RU said:

Also killers are only getting buffs the last two years, the only exception I can think of is Blight, and he deserved everything.

Blight nerfs were not so big because he is still top 2 killer, the killers that are being buffed two last years are mostly weaker killers maybe only pyramid is exeption and if you want to make game more balanced and give survivors solid buffs in basekit untitunnel etc. then killers shouldnt have this big gab like between blight and trapper it makes balancing for maps, perks and everything hard because one is effected very little and other one is destroyed by these changes thats why they want to close the gab between killers power scale (there will be always someone the weakest killer but if all killers are ballanced around current +a-tiers and b-tiers killers then its way easier for devs give survivors some good stuf).

  • @BOJIK_102RU said:

And Ruin STILL GOT BUFFED! How is it fair? You're just bullying survivors at this point.

I ask for OTR and Hope nerfs revert.

P.S. If you think that Hope should be nerfed because of 110 killers, how about we nerf all killer haste perks so they give less bonus to 115 killers? This only be fair in your point of view, right?

Ruin is hex and hex perk has to be glass cannon, stron effect with downside of the threat being deastroyed and loosing it (ruin was nerfed not because it was super strong if you dont count first version but because it was top perk for killer and everybody used it so devs wanted some change and shift in the meta), hope should be 5% haste against all 110% speed killers with one exeption and thats spirit, again Im surprised the post us vs them are so common here even they should be against the rules.

Well there is the issue that strong effects on Survivor can be ran by all 4 people. Something strong on Survivor can get amplified by a factor of 4, and quite often these effects can be devastating for lower tier killers.

Whereas things that are overpowered for killer side are rarely overpowered for every killer, it's usually a couple of outliers in the roster things become a problem.

There is usually pretty strong outcry for things on the killer side as well, some recent examples including: -

    • Pain Res and Pop being nerfed substantially.
    • Ultimate Weapon being made borderline useless.
    • Hex: Thrill of the Hunt getting quickly reverted.
    • Skull Merchant getting utterly eviscerated and left in that state for almost a year encounting.
    • Franklin's Demise being hard nerfed with no suitable replacement.
    • The anti 3gen mechanic and the anti face camp mechanics.

The only thing that's been concerning to me lately is how often Killers get giga buffed off the PTB on the final day.

Dont forget ruin that perk was nerfed to unuseable and now devs got finally sane and buff it to make it worth the title of hex (glass cannon), remember the 100% regression and the effect that made ruin to dissable when you killer someone which was bs and your perks like pop, pain res are other examples of the killer op buffs on perks

What did you want to discuss with me now? I don‘t exactly get what your reason for the reply is.

Hate it and down this post as much as you like but these are some facts, killer is supposed to be power role

I agree that killer has to be the power role but behavior should balance for 40-45% escape rate and 55-60% kill rate instead of aiming for a 60-65% kill rate for killers. The current kill rate is too high on some killers with almost a 70% kill rate, which means these killers almost win every game.

It will be under control more when spreding hooks will be rewarded and survivors will get these antichanges especialy some balanced and good antitunnel, the it will drop I believe.

I've always played chill regardless of the role, but a key difference between the two is that I'm only playing for myself as killer. I know how to play my favourite killers, and i know when to drop chase, and i know how to apply map pressure and keep survivors busy. This is not hard for me because I do it every single game, over and over and over. I get games against difficult opponents but I accept that the better player will win, and sometimes it's not me. As survivor, i also never cared if I'd win or lose, but i did recognise that i was part of a team. It wasn't just about me.

Regardless, the discussion was about which role is harder in general and my previous response still stands for why I think survivor is the harder role to learn in this game. There is simply more to learn and every game is different to the last.

Mechanicly some killers are hardest with mastering their powers but oveall survivor is hard and on average harder because you are relaying on other players which are bigger factors you cant influence and are out of your control exept top mmr survivors especialy in swf thats when this factor is more under control and thats why are very good survivor teams especialy swf called "seals teams" which are nightmare of every killer.

I'd argue that Nurse actually is pretty easy- what makes her "difficult" is that her power is so far removed from how the other Killers play that it's almost like playing a different role entirely. So you're essentially relearning the role from scratch. She also lacks the ability to use M1 as a crutch, so you will invariably lose your first several games with her.

Like, if you were to take one new player and have them start by learning Nurse, and take another new player and have them start by playing the usual noob-friendly Killers (Doctor, Wraith), I think they'd master their respective Killers at roughly the same rate.

Nurse's chase mechanics are arguably less complex than even a powerless M1 Killer. Pallets? Windows? Walls? Looping? All next to useless against Nurse. Pretty much the only thing she has to worry about is tracking Survivors, judging Blink distances and predicting Survivor movements.

She just crates her own game and counterplay because she cant be played as other killers (exept one meme addon that can make you m1 for 1 minute bad its just meme addon) and she is 100% dependent on her blinks thats why people were happy back then when they met newer player who had few games with nurse and couldnt blink just played like m1 that was eazy escape, others killer are different too like hag and most 110% speed killers are realible on theirs powers more that some m1 killers on loops like slinger or huntress.

Gens are boring and don‘t have much depth. I agree with that, but you are still ignoring that gens aren‘t the main thing of survivor gameplay. Sure you need them to win, but they only make up around 30% of the survivors actions. The rest is looping healing, unhooking, hiding and other things. I really don‘t get why you can‘t see that. They have to do more than gens.

I can also just say, all killers have to do is kill a survivor, that isn’t hard as well, because the game favors killer and that is a fact. I win most of my matches relatively easy to a point that killer becomes boring.

Gens are the key thing thats presuring the killer and makes survivors win, more gens you have and less hooks killer have (no death hooks) your chance of winning the match and having draw (two escapes) as worst scenario if your teammates doesnt do any big bad missplay that helps killer to get upper hand and preasure, looping is giving your teammates time to do gens and more they have the more gen progress and gens they should finish only third thing that takes survivor most time with looping and gens is their mobility but they are 4 and healing is very easy in 90% of matches because now there are popular perks like orelas do no harm, we will make it or the one that gives you 70% of heal when you aare unhooked and you can be healed in 4 and even less seconds.

Survivor role is teamplay (team work makes dream work, thats why swf is so good they can make teamplay way more easier and effective compare to soloq) and kilers is managing 4 survivors and gens and fighting against time more than survivors (survivors can fight against time too but if the killer gets upper hand and no gens are being done or endgame collapse). The game doesnt favor one side buth both all is influenced by big rng factors like survivors and killers skill and experience, map plays huge part for both side and for some killers more than for survivor role, perks, addons you can go against someone who is new with huntress and you will destroy him or you can get god nurse and be destroyed in few minutes so game doesnt favor only one side and its just lame to call it like that. Killer role is easier on lower mmr with less experienced players and the higher mmr the survivors are better and stronger and then there is swf clashing against s-tiers and high a-tiers at the top of the mmr chain and dont forget this game is made to be 50-60% killrate more the 60% which is like two kills with few hooks on average, all the decisioning factors are mostly decided in lobby but some changes can happen.

Hate it and down this post as much as you like but these are some facts, killer is supposed to be power role and you arent supposed to 1v1 the killer or any survivor if this happens you are playing against weaker opponent like back in the past before mmr where they were called "babby killers" by comunity and favorite part for content creators showing how good they are with 1k plus hours against 100 hour wraith with blue eyes, some do it even today for shorts.

    Pros;

    • Unlimited stalk on survivors. Should have been done years ago.
    • Being able to switch between stalker and pursuer mode.
    • Pursuer mode having extra advantages like base kit brutal/enduring/longer lunge etc.
    • Being able to mori/tombstone death hook survivors.
    • The stalking stinger returning is great.

    Cons;

    • Slaughtering strike feels clunky.
    • 40m terror radius is unnecessary.
    • Reduced stalk range. Go back to 40m stalk range and have it lore accurate again. The further away he is from survivors the faster he stalks them.
    • Make evil incarnate 60 seconds.
    • Get rid of that start up animation for evil incarnate.
    • Get rid of the six second cool down on slaughtering strike.
    • Give him his 4.4m/s stalker mode.
    • Remove the decay on stalk meter if he hasn't stalked anyone for 20 seconds.

Yeah he got more no needed nerfs.

Balancing ghis is impossible because finding survivors with same skill is very hard and not all of them can use shack the same in the match when palett is used so there will be always someone weaker who is worh to chase

Completely agree. Matchmaking isn't easy, nor is it going to be perfect.

And just to clarify, I'm not trying to say that every survivor will always be exactly the same skill level. That's unrealistic.

There will typically be players who are better in chase, better on certain maps, better against certain killers, or possibly just better equipped with perk loadouts simply due to RNG.

My point isn't that there is no weak link, it's that the killer has zero way to determine who that might be until they've actually tested all 4 survivors to see their skill level.

And if the killer is actually testing this, and has hooked everyone once, they aren't tunneling.

And for killers who just chase the first person they find to death, they aren't doing it "because they found the weak link", that's entirely a rationalization after the fact.

I usually bring this up because all roads lead to tunneling with this mindset: if the first chase was fast, then it's "wow, I found a weak survivor and can tunnel the weak link for the win", yet if the first chase isn't fast, then it's "I've invested to much time on this person (gens flew by), so I have to tunnel to recover the match and catch up".

Tunneling is never the wrong answer, and I find that to be problematic. At minimum, it's not a "strategy" at that point, since strategy implies that you would change tactics based on factors like how your opponent played, map, match RNG. If none of those factors play a role in any way, then this just becomes the "only play style you need"...

Which, coincidentally, is how many people argue they feel they need to (or feel forced to) play.

Sometimes you can find the “weaklink” survivor first its just the matchmaking magic to get lobby with players around your hours and skill level but for varius reasons you get there guy with less hours like to 500 hours which can be seen in chase that he is the one but I dont hardcore tunnel them first, sometimes I two hook them but only if I chase some other survivor and they run into me or are in corner of the msp hiding so Itske hook but then leave them till one maybe two gens are left but the two must be higly progressed above 50% so I must secure kill the get better preasure.
I dislike hard tunneling too (the one you see in competetive, just going for one survivor from the start) but sometimes its necessary to get more time and chance to win if you are on few higly progressed gens left with 4 people alive you cant keep spread hooks and expect better result that 2k max if they missplay. From your post I agree with your statement.

Tbh the sounds in dbd are more bugier than before and dont forget in 2017 you could hear someone moving in the grass but now there isnt even sound for that or its supper low and many survivor running or walking sounds have bad distance indication (they sound like coming from different side) which Im noticing more and more, buged faling sounds, gen repair sound when no one is on the gen and other treasures are more common.

The RPD one still sticks out as both gross and disgusting.

Try to make survivors friendly and you will get it fast as most killer achivements that doesnt require to kill survivors.

Seeing what our teammates is doing as Solo queue was a great change to closing the Gap.

I think like basekit Kindred and Empathy would be great for coordinating saves and healing

You will se what are others doing but swf on coms canmake it way better without kindred, they just tell each other what will who do and have far better options than soloq with aura read, they know who has which perk so they can pull save base on perks, soloq can know it too with some feature but they cant make strategy with that.

  • @tes said:

make some aura perks base kit. Like kindred without reading killer aura, emphaty and emphatic connection (but within terror radius of the killer), always highlight aura of 1 gen for survivor and analogue of troubleshooter (also without killer aura read)

I think starting with this at least def should help.

For adding some resemblance of chat BHVR must introduce really strong but fair moderation and I don't think that actually possible

This wont solve the issueand wont be enough, coms are true strenght of swf the ability to shareinformation between players which they wouldnt normaly know and were clueless about many things, no info perk will make soloq be able to make strategies like endgame saves,flashlight/palett saves or pinpoitnt killers whereabout or his traps, some perks can but wont give the info to other 3 players unless they are on coms.

This is just facts which cant be denied if you want to close the gap them some voice chatt or push to talk option are only solution which is very simple and effective.

  • @CorvidXCVIII said:

This is true because Deerstalker isn't like other aura read perks. You're not applying aura read in the same way you would with Lethal, instead you're giving the survivor aura read on you. Since it's the survivor seeing you that triggers Deerstalker, it still only lasts as long as they can read your aura.

So its just object of obsession for killer.

Yes, because that's most efficient. Like I said, I regularly get tunneled, but that's because I can't loop like some of my friends. My friends who can loop a killer for 5 generators? Guess why they don't get tunneled? If they do what you say here, then my friends will take the killer away and they will get the slugged survivor back up and everyone healed and the killer still hasn't caught the person they are trying to tunnel.. or they do... but either way the rest of us are healed up and ready to go back to generators.

    Also, for a laugh…

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hcicq2osNGQ

Most of people which claim they can loop killer for 5 gens just hold w and predrop, chaining strong loops and this isnt hard to do against more m1 oriented killers and its effective if their teammates spread on gens if they dont do gens then many strong paletts are gone for late game.

Killer will target always the weakling from survivor team and its logical its easy down and preasure.

I hear this a lot, and it sounds good in the surface.

But the question is: unless the killer has engaged with all 4 survivors in the match, how do they know this is the weak link?

Because if there is no strong link, and it doesn't matter which of the 4 survivors is chosen randomly first, then that sounds more like a balance issue than a "smart strategy". (And in this case, matchmaking is included in the balance problems).

Somethimes people tend to use this but survivor has his first game and can be caught off guard but in general its someone who is not that great at chase. Balancing ghis is impossible because finding survivors with same skill is very hard and not all of them can use shack the same in the match when palett is used so there will be always someone weaker who is worh to chase and prioritize compare ti other survivorsin the match. There are almost always chase me bro survivors which are better to be ignored.

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/4008503#Comment_4008503

The problem isn't looping and all that it's just tunneling suddenly starts because a single gen went off. Even if it took five minutes for the first gen to be complete suddenly it means the killer needs to start tunneling. I could rescue the person being tunneled and make myself go down and the killer will just slug to tunnel the person out.

Killer will target always the weakling from survivor team and its logical its easy down and preasure. Getting better or having longer chase or being positioned near strong loops is one of few ways how to get killers attention from you.

Now if you play mediocre killer or lower and sometimes even with strong killer you can have hard time because you get matched against players you shouldnt get and its not because you made your mmr higher as some people spread here (mmr will give you people in your bracket and theycan have far more experience and higher mmr number but you are in same bracket so people with 1k hours can face 8+ k hours players if there are many people in matchmaking ques so they dont have to wait same que times as killer in 2v8 for game),sometimes not tunneling in current state is punished because you dont have those base buffs for each unique hook same as survivors dont have better antitunnel which is bad for both sides one doesnt get rewarded for playing more longer game without tunneling orther doesnt get solid protection against those which want to play shorter game with higher chance.

There are still a lot of cheaters, but it's better just to report once if you are really that sus about them and don’t attempting to blame person in some intuition sense in endgame chat. One report won’t harm them if they are honest player

Some prerun even I was undetecteable and they had no line of sight on me plus the hatch thing was sus as hell but nothing came from report (in game report I dont have 20+ minutes plus video proof for that like most players do).

Killers complain map is too big. Behavior makes map smaller. Killers complain…. They should just revert the map as it was before.

One change doesnt always benefits all killers because their powers and kits are different not like survivors who are just reskin, look at coldwin maps if there arent any clutter and random objects in the field then killers like billy, huntress are more stronger there and killers like blight, wesker are weaker there vice versa and this is same for the difference between ghoul and legion one can play both larage map with more dead zones and other is nefed on big map with lesser mobility but dead zones can help him on smaller map (same map like asylum change) he has less mobility problem but loops are closer to each other and smaller to none dead zones (which killers like bubba or trickster quite need like most weaker killers) so either isnt ideal for him but smaller map with less god loops and more medium safe loops which can be mindgamed are better than larger maps with dead zones for killer like legion but its not some huge buff like most survivors call only for killers which can catch up in the chase and have solid antiloop like ghoul, draculy etc..

Looking at bug reports there seems to be a big problem with killer instinct being permanent at the moment

    On whick killers?

  • @Langweilig said:

You forgot to mention that they made it 30% smaller.

Still nerf to m1 because space between loops is now shorter which means survivor makes it to other loop almost every time which hurts m1 nonetheless.

Killers with strong antiloop or mobility which can be used in chase (noth counting dreadge rare locker rng, sadako tv rng and other simular mobilities) dont care and can deal with it but the m1 killers get still hurt by this change.

  • I think there is no valid reason to play m1 killer exept the ones you like but nowdays everything is against them, palett spawns, survivors and their loadouts and upcoming anti changes, all of them are further nerfs to m1 killers and even back then m1 where hard to play but game wasnt so fast phased like nowdays everyone who sees m1 like wraith, ghostface, doctor plays like they saw meta wielding blight/ghoul and rushes gens to oblivion its so unfun and undgratefull to play these killers without their best meta addons and perks.

yeah if someone is raw kicking gens, I am assuming they have Nowehere to

Can be but the hatch thing is hard to describe, its not that random moment they are running and it spawns near them but they run directly at the spot where is actualy spawns and one guy was arleady on the ground when it spawned, other fact which bothers me is he wasnt in place where hatch spawns offten like back of the shack or main bulding but in random nowher in middle of the map.

Simply increasing his Tier 1 speed was never the only thing he needed. I didn't want any major changes to his powers just some buffs to his current kit.

He needed massive buffs to tier 2 and 3 or rework which we have now but he is kinda same for me they gave him what he needed and took what he had and was key for him like tier two 99 for fast downs or his smaller terror radius on both tier 2 and 3 (40 meters got only wesker than ghoul when they came out and then other s or high a-tier killers like billy, blight, krasue so I dont know why mayers has to have 40 meters tr just game him the old sound q when he activates evil incarnate problem solved). Many buffs you see like vault speed he had them before same as he has them now only other effects like basekit brutal or bigger lunge are current buffs and they arent enough, worst part is slaughtering strike being worse to use than pigs dash and hard to use as billys saw or onis dash for me which is something that annoys me the most.

They should make a 3K count as "Merciless Killer" for the sake of making adepts reasonable when (or if at this point, let's be honest) they finally tighten MMR up and actually go through with some form of anti-tunnel.

Im kinda lost what is now merciless victory, back then it was just 4k but I think it should be 3k too because now you dont see hatch offerings and even if you get hatch its gate rng then which on many killers with their basekit perks which are most times just mediocre or trash, bad on them then on other killers.

After playing a few more games with the new Myers I have grown to like him. There are a lot of ways to play him. You can still play as old Myers with fragrant tuft of hair. I love the ability to switch between stalker and pursuer modes. On indoor maps, being able to switch and become undetectable is great. Slaughtering strike also isn't that bad. I think it could use a few tweaks but overall it is fun.

Terror radius was nerfed so he is easier to prerun and lost his stealth (if we dont count that you can stealth around on indoor maps but it has its limits and most maps are open plus he is slower now by 5% in exchange for normal lunge). Slaughtering strike is bad he slows too much when he is charging it and reduced turn rate is terrible to deal with even billy has more room to turn or blight and they are both very strong killers on top of every tierlist for reason not to mention oni has more room to get that hit than now low b-tier mayers. Strike speed is slow, very slow which makes it easy to react and survivor has huge room for distance even more against mayers than against buffed pig and thats not her main power. Biggest and most harsh nerf strike has is the ability to get fast down like he could with tier two 99 and then get behind survivor and get tier 3 fast and get that instadown simular to ghostface but now you have big slowdown for no reason and on top of that cooldown after breaking something or missing with strike is quite big so I dont know why he has to wait 6 seconds to try agian, compare it to oni if he breaks palett or missis has he have to wait x seconds to do it again after action of break or miss cooldown, I dont think he has to.

  • All you mentioned can be done in time (maybe one which takes realy long time is opening 20 gates on rpd, shame it didnt work with 2v8 event) but there are harder ones like the chucky sacamper one which was easy with his version which could slide under palett but now its very hard if survivor isnt stupid or the springtraps one where you have to grab survivors from security doors which is I would say impossible if survivors wont help you with that because no one uses doors and if they does then its only when springtrap is in chase or he is doing something which can be seen by survivors like carrying someone to hook etc. (the amouth of people which have this achivement is 0,2%, Idk if its from all people that have springtrap or just DBD but thats small). Getting tier 3 on mayers is joke comapare to getting evil incarnate achivement which requires you to kill all 4 survivors with his tier 3 mori and current mayers is bad tbh.

The Shape gameplay update. I really hope you guys do right by my boy. Please don't let him lose his identity of feeling like Michael Myers.

He kinda lost both his stealth with bigger terror radiuses in tier 2 and 3, he is less lethal with slaughtering strike and its way more weaker that tier two 99 to get old tier 3 for fast insatdown same as ghostface.

  • Monitor is dead unless you want to run it on oni or normal killers because smaller terror radius killers had small benefit and big 40 tr killers dont realy need it, you dont fully recover from the ground just the recover bar fills up by itsself, the gen thing was on ptb when killer had basekit pop for unique hook but now its better visual for both killer and survivor to see how much gen is progressed from a far, second point about new survivor perk Idk.

  • I would give it 7% haste against 115% speed killers and 5% against 110% speed exept spirit, this is more balanced because killer like huntress or chucky are done against hope.

Yeah its just infect with an auto aim range attack to then switch the head mode to win immidiately the chase with practically no counter play.

And that is everything about krasue to get an disgusting win rate specially with bamboozle or dissolution. Just the same gameplay loop... every single chase. The lack of counterplay really shows that.

She is so broken you dont get any dopamine when you get hit unlike when you play for example huntress and wesker. Which means people find the killer boring.

Huntress and wesker are well balanced and have rich counterplay with big depth in skill, they are on stronger side from killers but in my opinion thats where most killers should aim. Krauser is as you said bad counterplay with nothing very skillfull like hitting sick bound as wesker or shot with huntress.

Thats exactly why people aren't encountering her anymore. She's strong to the point of games being boring because its too easy to win.

Thats not whole truth, she isnt fun to play as for me. Nurse is stronger and more fun to play as and against, blight is on same power level if the blight is good with flicks and dashes and he is more fun to go against than her, ghoul is more fun to go against than her because he plays more as m1 on loops than she does whole game. All you do is infect, the more is better and then switch to head to get pretty fast downs or move around the map. All I like on her is her machate animation and sounds.

I'm saying that the variable distance doesn't matter because a thing having a lot of stuff going on with it doesn't mean it's interesting or full of depth. You can have a simple kit and have depth in the kit. Just like you can have a complex thing that doesn't. Slaughtering Strike simply doesn't have any meaningful depth, and it still wouldn't even if it was buffed.

It's a problem because we went from a simple "you get to get an extended lunge and everyone is exposed" 1 button thing to a "you get to get an extended lunge that's worse and people aren't exposed" 2 button clunky ability that replaced it. There was 0 reason to do this other than some programmer/designer wanted to add it just because.

Charge time takes forever and its speed and reach are small to make for it, worse turnrate is way more punishing than billys saw or blights rush which are one of strongest killers in the game so why mayers has to have it.

  • Whole problem is mayers had ability to get quick down with tier two 99 but that is now lost and strike is worse than pigs ambush or chuckys slice and dice when it was nerfed the hardest (it was worse than pigs ambush or same) so strike can stay but it needs hard buffs because there isnt point in using it, only on survivors death on hook to finish them for achivement, when they drop under palett and other varius reasons and second use is when survivor is in big dead zone so its faster than m1 but other than that I found its way better to just stay in tier two most of the match.

  • @lettuchia said:

Not gonna lie I didn't even know that SS's distance depended on how long you charge it and that makes the suggestion to remove it even worse, god forbid a killer has depth?

I think fully charged has like 12 meters maybe but its slow and super easy to read something like old pig dash.

  • @Aceislife said:

I read the patch notes and I saw that in tier 2 his lunge is longer now, but in tier 3 it's the default range, just makes no sense to me.

Current tier 2 has 20% increase which will help in situations where survivor is hugging wall very good and your normal m1 range would not be enough to reach him, old tier 3 had 25% longer lunge but now all buffs he got arent woth the nerfs he has now.
