I play on xbox and my main reason for disabling cross-play is that like 99% of the time my teammates are potatoes. Lately there has been a lot of tunneling, camping, and moris. I've been one-hooked so many games in a row. Its not fun. To add to it since the update I've been lagging all over the place (even with cross-play disabled) and the frames have been terrible. Rubberbanding in every direction. I've also been randomly disconnected from matches multiple times.
I am mot saying everything here is only happening with cross-play enabled, but it seems worse with it enabled. Especially the potato teammates, no questions asked its worse!

Hawkins is by far the best indoor map in the game and I am a survivor main.
Midwich is by far the worst map in the game... it looks great tho

Oh yeah me too, but now with cross-play, In my experience, I've been matched up with more potato teammates than ever before. When I turn it off, my teammates are usually not that bad. I've been leaving cross-play on recently tho because when they increased the tick rate, it really made a difference. I'm excited to see how the updated MMR system will be with cross-play.

1. its not just console players. Plenty of bad pc players out there so have a seat. Every platform has their good and bad players

This is one of the problems, as the devs said themselves, DS was not made to be an anti-tunnel perk. That is what people of the community came up with.

My thing with Deathslinger is the quick shots or no scopes. I can't exactly counter that. I can't just zig zag the whole time because he will just m1 me. This may just be a problem at close distances. Idk 🤷🏼♂️

I would say Dead Hard, but it doesn't always work... and it rarely works with cross-play when trying to avoid a hit. Usually works well creating distance to reach something with or without crossplay enabled.
I'm an aggressive player, so I dont have the patience for sprint burst. Its a good perk, it's just not my cup of tea.

I really do wish it would return or something because the matchmaking rn is terrible. Just horrible teammates especially with cross-play enabled. I play with cross-play mostly off. I would like to see the MMR return to see what its like with cross-play tho.

I literally had #2 and #3 on the farm map with the the house near the middle. Lol that is interesting, but yeah the matchmaking can be very bad.

I quit killer so I only play survivor. I mostly have cross-play turned off.
The queue times are pretty slow with or without cross-play, I only switch cross-play on if its at an hour that is very slow playing with no cross-play... it is sometimes slightly faster UPDATE: There are days where its slow for both opt in or out and days where its pretty nice.
Teammates suck... they don't do gens and the decision making is just a facepalm... matchmaking is pretty terrible rn... opting out is the better option here. UPDATE: Teammates still suck mostly, but I did run into very few okay ones.
Constant tunneling with the killers and just more toxic killers period, but the killers are better in cross-play, but duh. UPDATE: No change here, theres just more toxic players in cross-play. 🤷🏼♂️
Pc does have an advantage like it or not... it is what it is. UPDATE: period

I would love the option of just console players, there is no downside there at all for anyone. Pc players queue times would still be better than it was because not everyone will choose that option. Their not losing out on anything there. I know they won't do it tho because as always we must take big sh*ts on console players, y'know? It wouldn't be the same we didn't. I would want consoles only regardless of the fps problem being fixed.

Well, we are have different experiences with cross play, I opted out because no one is doing gens and they go down in seconds. The only globe ppl good were the killers. I'm on console btw.
Also that is the survivors job... if you're not applying pressure then it is what it is.

I haven't run self-care in a good while, if I want to be able to heal myself, I'd just equip a medkit or Nancy's locker perk. Self-care does take too much time.

I typed that with my first experience with cross-play in mind and the queue time for survivor was very long. I played again today and the queue time is good now.
I didn't really pay attention to rank, but the survivors haven't been the best tbh. Killers have been good tho.

I don't blame a single console player for not playing killer on cross-play. I don't blame any console player for opting out. There is only one upside to crossplay for us and that is playing with friends on other platforms.

The match making was fine up until today... I've been getting matched with ppl who play like its their first rodeo. So the mmr system is bugging out or something because thats definitely not my skill level. The killers I'm facing are my skill level, but my teammates missed the mark every game today.

The Doctor will always be my least favorite to play against... what sucks is that I will have to play against him anytime I want to play because on console he is very powerful and not much brain is needed to play him. Once you get the shock timing down, you're set (not saying you can't still win against him). The outcome of the match does not matter, I never have fun going against him. I liked playing him tho, it was usually a 3-4k game for me.

I am already nice to killers and I don't want them to be discouraged from playing any killer, especially nurse. I play on xbox and its a lot harder to play nurse on console. I've sent messages to 'em and have had them say stuff like, "Wow, I was expecting your message to be toxic." People need to be more respectful to each other and that goes for both killers and survivors. Period!

Perhaps their telling the truth. I always play solo and there are times where we play so well together, you'd think we were a swf group. I mean, there is the possibility that the other 3 survivors are in a swf group and I just fit right in, but there is the possibility that their not.🤷🏼♂️

I am a survivor main and I watch Tru3, he really helped me play killer... though I don't play killer often at all because its stressful as hell and it will be even worse playing against pc players (I play on console), so I'm pretty much done with killer. I am not a bad killer because of him tho. I do believe he favors playing killer.
