Unless you are on a space station...I can't really see or enjoy a Xenomorph running around on foot on Mcmillian or The Game.
Guess it would be kinda funny/cool to see him sneakin around Haddon Field or Middle School. Idk tho.
-
If they were to put him in I would be interested for sure. But at this point it would be hard to see him pull off something new or unique that hasn't been seen before.
Same for his survivors but It would be cool if they added kid Georgie and grown up Bill. Or maybe Bill and Richie...or Beverly by herself. Idk I'm just spit ballin here.
-
It's because of this bug I avoid hills like the plague. I will never do a Gen, make a save or even open a chest at one. It's too easy to get stuck in that area and some killers know this and push you towards it to make you get stuck. An easy down for them. Sometimes they get stuck too and it's funny but the risk/reward is too good to pass up at times.
-
Purple rank here and I normally equip an ebony if I know I'm going up against a SWF and I see 3+ flashlights. Yeah they thinks it's cute and all to try and blind me while I mori one of them but that's just more time they waste acting like toxic kids.
-
Survivor : Resilience and Self Care are part of my normal solo queue combo. So I A. Don't have to rely on randos to heal me and B. Can choose when I want to apply my 9% speed buff towards something. Normally rushing one of the last gens or the exit gates.
Killer : Dying Light. I know it's a tough snowball to get going but once it does boy look out. Especially since people keep flip flopping who the obsession is with DS. Means I can down someone, get DSed then immediately go after the previous obsession and kill them with no consequence.
-
Here's a good tip. If you're gonna decide to make a save...commit! Don't hop off a gen and run all the way across a map to just crouch and hide while the killer makes a circle and the survivor goes into 2nd phase. Too many times I've seen people do this and it makes me furious. Like thanks for the death sentence.
Also if you're not in a SWF read the others survivors intentions of you can. If you unhook me and I try to run towards a gen to finish it...stop trying to heal me and slow me down. Please try to have awareness of everything around you and look at the bigger picture. Count how many hooked survivors there are to gens done.
1 hooked + 2-3 gens done = solid game. Good chance of escaping.
2-4 hooked + 1 gen done = game going to hell. Get you're sh!t together and focus!
-
I don't prestige my survivors because I don't care about skins. And the blood point grind becomes a death sentence with the way the bloodweb works. I sh!t you not I found BT rank 1 on my kate. And conservatively used my points to search the web's for new teirs. It took 12 fcking webs and nearly 500k blood points to find tier 2...just for 1 perk...when I have almost all my other perks at tier 2 or higher.
And I don't prestige my killers for the same reason of grinding the bloodwebs endless stream of useless add-ons and only a 3-4% chance of getting better add-ons to find my favorite perk load outs.
-
The game is fun up to a point. There comes a certain time when you run into a player(s) that ruin the experience. Either full toxicity or through sheer ineptitude. Why even have a reporting system if no actions are taken place until all 4 people take a vote. Problem with random groups is people just don't care too much and move on. And it ruins the game for those who do care. Then there comes the issue or glitches. After 4 years and many of the core game mechanics staying the same. You'd think they would have the kinks worked out. Nothing more infuriating that being on a good team, getting second hooked...and after a few seconds of button mashing the game/entity decides you're not worthy and kills you anyway. And last but not least is lack of game play choices. Again 4 years have passed. There needs to be more variety instead of survival/ custom games. Perhaps make a Mario party style race to do gens or have a huge map with 2 killers and 8 survivors.
Other than the mentioned above I will say I enjoy the game in a fun SWF or as a killer getting a decent 3-4K per game.
-
One key to totems is they are hidden and some survivors are too concerned with gens or killer baiting to go cleanse them. Adding a counter will virtually ruin (no pun intended) all Hex perks for killers since its a constant reminder that all these totems "should" be broken before leaving the match.
-
When I smell a swf and have a bad feeling they are all red rank. Just to shake things up.
Or I see 3 flashlight and a key. I will make sure to slug and slice. I float between ebony and Ivory mori pending my killer if I know I can get quick hooks, stagger survivors and get good gen pressure going.
Nothing more satisfying than using my mori on a tea bagging meg who was all clicky clicky but made the mistake of being too far from the out of bounds line when I smacked that little c*nt down.
-
I always use BBQ on my killers no matter what. It's a nice perk even without the added BP. Ive tried other tracking perk methods and they don't seem to work as often for me. The only other perk I enjoy is Nurses but that one is hit or miss since ALOT of times the survivors will be miles away from the unhook spot.
I will note that when I max out on survivor I will always swap my WGLF with a better perk. But even going from 1M bp down to a few K I make it all back in short time to level up another killer or survivor I want.
-
I believe Nurse by a thin margin. Spirit is fast but idk if her add-ons for faster phase walk can beat nurses quicker recovery from blinks and double or even triple blink.
-
The first surprise pallet stun scared me pretty good. Was on Doctor at swamp and had no idea that meg was lying in wait. So from now on when I chase a survivor and they vanish by a pallet I always lunge through it just incase. Honestly it has worked a few times. I still get the hit before the stun and the survivor got the ol turntables.
-
If a survivor hops in a locker with DS I think the timer should be dropped down by half. So instead of 40/50/60 then drop it to 20/25/30 that way the killer has to make a choice to stay and wait it out or to move on without wasting too much time. And the survivor has to bank on the killer the same way and hope they will leave them alone.
-
So I am a noob when it comes to autodidact. I do like the perk but I have a question. Let's say you finally reach 5 tokens after healing teammates. Then the next time you go to heal someone and hit a skill check will you still get that sweet percentage buff towards progression or will it just revert to normal healing progression?
The answer will make or break it from my healer perk build.
-
If I could be as tall and buff as Oni I totally would. If not then make me tall and daunting as Michael Myers. Wish my wife would either cosplay as Huntress or Nurse...but the sexy halloween version of course.
-
Dreamt I was a Jeff running through Crotus Prenn with a GF on my trail. Think there was still 3-4 gens left and no idea how many survivors were left. Only thing that was unusual was the chase music was very deep and distorted and the camera angles were a bit odd.
-
Along with the usual problems with DS I dislike the fact it has the high chance of making the survivor the obsession. There are alot of obsession perks that require you to NOT do anything to them. I run dying light on a good chunk of my killer builds. Once they become the obsession if they are on 2nd or death hook it becomes to risky to take them out since I could ruin my slow down snowball. Then 2-3 or all 4 run it I have to flip flop so many times it's not fun. Same with perks like PWYF and STBFL. Hitting the obsession does nothing or hinders you.
TLDR: Take off the obsession flip flip of DS.
-
Fix maps yes. Fix perks maybe. But for the love of god fix the totem positions. They are so wasy to find even without maps or perks. It's no fun having a good perk get taken out in the first 2 minutes of a game.
-
Rule numero uno.
Don't dive into anything real life. Hits too close to home and could dig up bad rep with the associated nation.
Would be like if they added Stalin or Hitler to the Civilization games.
-
Myers all the way. Nothing beats picking up a toxic survivor and stabbing them. Look them right in the face and see the lights leave their eyes.
-
For some reason I tend to ship David x Meg. They are both very head strong and I think can compliment their weaknesses to be a good couple.
Claudette x Dwight cause they are both nerds so obvious choice there.
Kate x Jeff maybe since they are both kinda free spirits and are tied to music in good ways.
Jake x Nea just for the fun of it.
And the biggest and best but hate ship I have is David X Huntress. I always picture David saying ######### it I've had enough of this humming ######### and just turns to swing at her. Sure she's bigger and more feral but David has more fire and anger in him. A down and dirty fight between them is all I want in life.
-
I think after that long a time the inactive crows should start revealing auras and making loud notifications. 15 minutes is just terrible. Had a game or 2 like that happen. Most recent was on auto wreckers with Plague. No one was doing anything not even touching the things I puked on. Almost said fuckit and went to DC but saw an ass sticking out by a wall after about 8-9 minutes of game stalling.

Spine Chill and Dying Light

Gunpowder gelatin
Dynamite with a laser beam
Guaranteed to blow your mind...anytime!
-
Yeah I run into the same problem sometimes which is why I feel no shame in tunnel and camp as many as I can and enjoy getting a salt bath by the rank 1-3s. They ######### at you when you beat them and they "GG EZ sweaty baby killer" you when they all escape and tbag at the exit.
-
Snare the greedy
Whenever a survivor finishes searching a chest their aura will be revealed to the killer and the killer gains the undetectable status affect for 7/10/12 seconds.
"What's yours is mine"
Hex: Shadow Sight
For every dull totem left on a map all survivor auras within a 20/25/30 meter radius will be revealed to you. Survivor cleansing speed is reduced by 5%
"Yeah peek-a-boo this arsehole!" David Ks journal.

Old ruin would provide a very large slowdown in low ranked games. When put up against survivors that could hit great skillchecks though, it became relatively useless.
New ruin does practicaly nothing against gen speeds as only high mobility killers are truly able to create pressure and capitalize on its effect. In most games though, it's gone before it can really be utilized.
In my opinion, new ruin is better than the old one as it can be really strong if used properly in certain builds.
Mostly true but not all good survivors would hit the great skill check every time. And that's were the trickle pressure would take affect. All those missed great checks would equal into a good slow down for gen rushing. Even without a high mobility killer it would work well in most builds. Sad part is like most good hex perks ALOT of high rank survivors would find it and destroy it often times before it could really work it's magic. The new ruin is semi decent at best since often you'll catch a survivor working a gen and chase them off and then another lurking around will just hop right on or you'll get plenty of 2-3 people on a gen at the same time and make U-turns back to the gen when you focus on one to chase.

If there are 4 people left in the trial, hatch doesn't spawn until all gens are done.
If there are 3 people left, 4 gens must be done.
That aside, if they brought or found a key - sure, why not - They can use their items as they wish, aren't obliged to scour the map for other survivos, and are essentially spending 6-7k BP to escape.
Not sure how it happened but I distinctly recall there were 3 of us left and 2 gens since the 4th got hooked a 2nd time and suicided. Was at Asylum against a GF. And the next thing I see after the sacrifice is the obsession douche exited the trial and left the meg and I to die.
-
Mostly for the sabo daily or if I feel like being an annoying little ######### to the killer that trail lol
-
What's unfair is if the exit gates are within spit distance of eachother and the killer has a clear no obstacle path to both sides. Especially if they can see clear as day if a survivor is standing right there. That's the point I usually give up or DC pending how good I did during the whole trial.

Decisive Strike is now a perk that at least one person needs to carry because there are more tunnellers than ever. It is a necessary evil, and the only one I consistently see out of the list that killers complain about.
Borrowed Time deals with campers.
Adrenaline is only a small and temporary boost when endgame is triggered.
There also aren't that many people using Spine Chill, but it is just a solid anti-stealth sperk for survivors.
It does also feel like there are a lot more people running NoED lately, and I think that it is an issue because it is a fundamentally badly designed perk. Now before you try and lynch me, my issue is the warning that people don't get. If it warned you of exposed, like every other expsoed effect (except Devour Hope, but you have to earn that one) then it'd be fine.
The problem with the warning system your suggesting is pure nonsense. If survivors are warned as soon as the exit gates are powered that totem will be hunted down and cleansed before the killer can even head towards the nearest exit gate. Atleast with it hidden it gives the killers a chance. Devour has no excuse since its a plain in sight hexed totem if seen. If no survivors are looking around for totems off hand when searching for a gen or chest that's their bad. Not the killers.
-
Yes! I've been waiting for Huntress for so long!
And my girl Kate! This is gonna be awesome.
I like Legion too so I wanna see his rift
Dweet is...meh but I'll enjoy his tokens anyway
-
There should be more holiday themed skins. Would be cool for survivors to get Halloween cosmetics like the killers do and killers should get ugly sweaters for Christmas.
And Let's get some beach bod skins going. I want the girls in 2 piece bikinis and the guys in good swim trunks with flip flops on.
-
I play Myers ALOT and the ones I normally run are...
Moniter and Abuse : Great for stalking and lowering your already small TR
Dying Light: Works good for early game momentum of slow down on genrush but you really gotta stick to to your non-obsession targets (some tunneling required. #noshame)
BBQ and Chili: As if I need to state the obvious
And pending who I see in the lobby and what items I'll either go with NOED or Thanaphobia for my last perk. Usually the former since its a nice insurance plan for downing people during EGC.
-
I'll do Kates rift all night long.

New Ruin ia healthier for the game. You just have to learn to not lean into a specific perk.
Wish survivors would take that same advice for DS, BT, Adren,. Ruin and BBQ were the 2 main killer diet staples but now many killers are starving. That why there's a huge increase to camp and tunnel and slug plays. Seems ALOT of killers have replaced ruin with NOED to focus more now endgame instead of beginning pressure. Not to mention mori after mori after mori!

Agreed, would be interesting to have a more city-like map, maybe with some skyscrapers? Idk.
Better yet! Make it like an office floor with stairs and a broken elevator. The boring kind of cubicle office setting with breakable walls and the like. If they could work something like that in that would be greeaat.
-
Clown soo needs a demonic sounding carnival theme. They should sample the opening theme from AHS season 4...thats pure gold.
-
I don't a problem with moris it's the toxic killer behavior that leads up to it. Camping the hook and tunneling and then picking you up and dropping you...I mean what's the point? If you have a mori and know you're gonna use it there's no need to pick up and drop a survivor unless you're being a prick and going for surroundings viewing angle.
-
First off thank you for the lols. That video is priceless. Wish it was Ozzyman commentating. Second the whole lag issues are always the killers fault so in a way they do have all the power in a match.

Can you do me a favour and send me your survivors? Like when I play killer I see some of them but to the extent you're describing this it's like you get ironworks/disturbed ward every map, with 4 blendette with flashlights in a swf on comms. Like, I want to know how often you actually face people like this, and how often you play a killer with NO way of dealing with a loop.
It's more common than you think and I've seen my fair share of these toxic SWF groups
-
You just described most of the games that happen now a days. Of course the killer isn't pacifist...they just can't seem to get a hit with all the looping and God windows in a map. Not to mention all the flashlight clicking and tbagging around a pallet drop.
-
I click yes because my play style and perks aid me in building early game pressure with most of my killers. I do it mostly for building up my Dying Light stacks. Of course if I figure out they all have BT then I change tactics a little but my goal is to get as many tokens early game as possible to hopefully slow down the game either by gen speed or having people rush to rescue. Sometimes it works and others it doesn't but so far I normally wind up with at least a 2-3k per game without using NOED.
-
I want somewhere in a city. Kinda like Hodden Field but in like back alleys and small vendor shops. Like a Tokyo market spot.
-
Kate/Meg and Spirit/Hag
Neither of them had any kind of darkness in their being and the entity pulling them into his realm prove how much of dick he can be.
On the flip side I would release Myers and David King just to see what kind of mayhem they would cause humanity.
-
Survivor Perk
All For one : For every dead survivor gain a token. Whenever a survivor would take a hit that would put them in a dying state the killer will instead hit an apparition of a dead survivor that will stun the killer for 2/3/4 seconds. Each hit spends 1 token.
"I will have my revenge in this life or the next!"
Kickback payback: Once per generator when you start on it you will be faced with 2 difficult skill checks. The next time the killer damages your generator they will be stunned for 2/3/4 seconds.
Killer perk
Snare the greedy
Whenever a survivor finishes searching a chest their aura will be revealed to the killer and the killer gains the undetectable status affect for 7/10/12 seconds.
"What's yours is mine"
Hex: Shadow Sight
For every dull totem left on a map all survivor auras within a 20/25/30 meter radius will be revealed to you. Survivor cleansing speed is reduced by 5%
"Yeah peek-a-boo this arsehole!" David Ks journal.

Should have had all the survivors and killers have googly eyes like in Overwatch. Would have been amazing. The shrine joke is just...terrible.
-
Once again a survivor complaining about a killer who has risen in stats and became good thanks to a buff. There are plenty of counters to a Doc. You just have to be brave and smart enough to utilize them.
-
Typically if you see a team of 3-4 all using the same character and half or all of them have a key or flashlight it's a SWF group. Most of the time it's a group of dweets or claudettes. Sometimes even a nea SWF group will pop up here and there.
