I take it Jolt now activates from non m1's now?
Guess i can replace Pain resonance and Agitation on my Artist now, for Thrilling Tremors and Overcharge XD
No it just removed the cooldown if I remember correctly their was a bit where the m1 was removed or it might have been the one that blocked pallets after a hit and trickster made it almost God awful to play

Because some people, like me absolutely hate playing killer? I was that kid that cried about being the seeker in hide and seek because I hated it so much. I had over like 800 hours or something in Friday the 13th as survivor and when I got Jason I literally closed my game. Why in the world would I play something I hate?
Oh your that kind of person, ok and try to take this nicely as possibe because this comes from someone who does play both sides and will farm BP with others but if your complaining about people not playing how you want. You should probably consider playing single player games if playing as the ones who's "it" (Jason for f13, killer for dbd or actually being it for tag) causes that many problems

Because if you didnt, survivors would find their invitation, then kill themselves on hook to get to the next game quicker.
Ok so what's the difference between people doing those same things outside of an event and also the bone chill event had them groovy snowmen on the map and the lunar new year both didn't have a survivors having to escape or survie untill exit is available requirement and I never noticed an increase in hook suicides
-
I ran no mither unironicly for like a year straight.

Yeah it sucks when it happens especially when a big change in temp is enough to get me one too

I am 100% with you in that I have no idea what BHVR's obsession with side buzz cuts are.
Part of me thinks they just don't wanna model hair lol.
I think It might just be that because their not the only game that has all the women with short hair. I point to payday 2 in which all of the women have some varient of a buzz cut or short hair because of clover. If you load up the game clovers hair texture bugs out like crazy.

Cakes will grant a 160% bonus instead of 106%, because BHVR haven't worked out that to increase a value by 4% you multiple by 1.04, not 1.4 (4th year anniversary cakes used to give a 140% bonus... glorious times!)
Honestly let's hope that's what happens and not what I said

Cakes won't be stackable again.....
I really hope I'm wrong but if I'm not yall can come after me for saying it because we all know damm well it's going to happen just like last year and the year before that

you seem to confuse yourself,
I call MMR rank because that's what it is in all videogames,
And as for subtracting or dividing highest MMR killer, it is still putting a better player vs worse players regardless of perks or killer,
because in the end the individual skill has the highest impact on the game,
and it is unfun that you would get weak survivors on new killers everytime, resulting in easy 4k games that are boring for both sides
I think you might be confused here because rank does not equal mmr. It's not like rainbow six siege where if I hit Diamond in ranked I will go against Diamond ranked players.
And it makes to subtract/divide mmr on all killers because for example I'm pretty good with Ghostface so naturally I get matched against better players as him but get matched against potato's when I play nurse because i have a grand total of 20 minutes as nurse because and stay with me now...
Just because I can play one killer well doesn't mean I can play all killers well.
And sure I might get matched against potato's but I still struggle against them because I don't know how to play nurse

How can you know for sure that they are SWF's?
You have a detector or something?
Likewise, they aren't abusing anything. They are using perks/strats/items in the game. Don't blame people for using them but you can definitely make your displeasure with said things known to the people who have the power to change them.
Of course they know how else could they lose when they play at high mmr all the time. I mean when someone says they play high mmr they totally wouldn't lie to anyone
(Yes I dug through their comments to see that they constantly claim to be high mmr)

So then... you not only agree with my change, you also want to reduce it by 5 meters at the maximum? I'm sorry, your original response and following rebuttal of my response, made me feel like you were on the attack and were "Completely against" it. At this moment it feels like you are FOR my suggestion, but I can't say I've won you over, which is fair, as I endorse creative criticism, So by all mean tell me/let me have it: How does my suggested nerf/change negatively affect the game?
If it does affect it positively, and you can admit that, then acknowledge it and state why. I'm not trying to be a dick here and harass you with "I told you so!" antics, I'm a much better person than that. I have taken all of your messages with considerable consideration, and debated them against you for my end of the argument, but I never take any creative criticism without acknowledging it, and you have given me some insight for why people may be opposed to it, which will likely mean that I'll have to change it (hopefully for the better), and that's always what I've wanted from this community: good, strong, creative criticism.
I have faith in you, and where your heart is on this matter, but I still stand with my own beliefs, and have to hope that others can agree with them.
I feel like I had worded my original and follow up poorly but yeah looking at it as is I definitely see what you mean

ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Just based on the idea that it detects a killers approach "directionless" doesn't mean that the killer has any advantage when the survivor knows they are approaching! And from 36 meters, which is 4 meters beyond any killers TR, Stealth or Not, is Absurd! Not to mention that the only way the killer can avoid it is to somehow always predict that the survivors have it, and always keep each destination in the far left or right of their screen, even while chasing in order to prevent the vaulting advantage... I lost my train of thought because of how ridiculous of a requirement that is. The point I'm making is that it's current function is OP, and I'm having a really hard time as to why you, an admitted "Ghost Face" main, are so opposed to the idea of making it more balanced.
Dude... I'm not talking out of my ass here... This has long needed to be addressed, because it's an old perk that needs some modernizing for the current game. I just don't understand how you think that, as a Ghost Face player, it's fine as is. Honestly I'm Flabbergasted! (which is kind of fun because I never get to use that word).
I know I i even said that the directionless was the only point I had for it's defense, I feel like it could be better if they maybe droped the distance to 15 meter at its max.
I feel like I might be biased in favor of spine chill since I used to use it a lot back when i started playing but yeah I can definitely see how it's a problem.
Definitely didn't mean it as a SpIne ChIll oK leave it AS is type of comment

Wait, I'm confused (please use commas)... Are you for or against this nerf/change Idea? Yes, it never tells a survivor the Direction the killer is approaching, but if it activates at all, all a survivor has to do is walk somewhere nearby, hide, and hope the killer doesn't look in their direction. For GF, he does have an advantage in that "IF" a survivor looks at him while he's in stealth, he gets a directional visual and audio aid, and even if they don't, if he uses his stalking power, he can highlight a survivor nearby, but, that's still highly dependent on the killer using their wits, and the survivor being smart enough not to look at him. As a Ghost Face player, I actually thought this idea/change would be something you agree with because it makes it slightly harder for survivors to know when you're coming for them, and gives them less time to hide when it activates.
I am completely against it on the basis of its only effective against ghostface/Myers and pig and still the range and it beng directionless are the best points I have for it to remain the same.
Though the vault speed buff could go Though i hate that part specifically even when I used to use when I play survivor
-
As someone who actively mains Ghostface
No it doesn't it only says when I'm looking at you not from where or how far away and besides who's to say I'm not chasing a teammate or behind you right now
especially when crab walking to a gen exists and also just hold stalk and whip the cam back and forth at a reasonable pace on no one knows your on them ready to down them

So I wanna use the blight serum and it doesn't let me it's an add-on I spent bloodpoints on I get it's an event item but it makes more sense if it's an offering like survivors can use all the event items why can't killers use the blight serum.
I think at least that is because if the killer offering that prevents add-loss so you can never lose it and before someone says but survivors have a offering like that too if a survivor uses the serum, it and the medkit are gone

Enough with FNAF already.
If the devs are going to add it in later on, they will eventually. Screaming "GIVE US FNAF! GIVE US FNAF" won't make a good case for both fans and non-fans regarding the franchise. In fact, it'll only leave a sour taste in our mouths.
And personally, FNAF is WAY below the priority list after Alien, Predator, Child's Play, Jason, Candyman and etc. Springtrap just doesn't sound like a menacing killer for DBD. Soul possessed dolls/animatronics can be achieved with Chucky after all.
Speaking of candyman didn't the people who want him ignore bhvr straight up say that the 5th Anniversary was going to resident evil and still say it was going to be candyman for the 5th and also like fnaf fans moved the goalposts on all the pinhead reveals from the teasers saying candyman to say his name being hidden in the letters

Have you seen halo infinite its just a challenge swap then a challenge swap then a challenge swap then you get my point the only saving part is the armour pieces we get in it and half them are cores so good luck customizing your spartan because you can't use that helmet on the default armour and needs the mark v armour core to use

People still say decisive is to strong when the only way to get hit by it is to

Or
B have a survivor doing ######### all for the next 60 seconds which is giving you free pressure

also if u play leatherface or nurse you'll notice how survivors LOVE to hide way more than the usual basic killer.if u play pig sometimes survivors love getting aggresive but when its a powerful killer they always love hiding. I don't get their mentality. They get extremely scared of these 2 killers for some reason
Nurse ignores like half of the things the game throws at other killers
Pallets=blink past it
Loops=blink around it
Survivors tbag at exit gate=blink up to them and smack them
2 floor maps= do I really have to say it
And buba is just a buba and if you get caught you will be face camped to death
-
I consider my ass escaping a win don't care about the rest of the team unless everyone was joking around that game then anything is a win

@Mazoobi said:
I had a killer idea that I've always wanted to share, but haven't done so yet, but here are the perks I came up with for him:
Predatorial instincts:
Your thirst for more blood grows as you serve the entity.
Hooking a survivor gives you a 2/3/4% haste effect until you injure a survivor by any means. That survivor will then have their aura revealed to you for the next 8 seconds.
"Yes... I know that feeling. I need more"
On Your Tail:
You know where to make it hurt as your strikes slowly cripple your prey.
Injured survivors suffer from the impaired status effect while repairing a generator. It will linger for 20/25/30 seconds after letting go of the generator. (Impaired = survivors repair, heal, and unhook slower)
Hitting a survivor will lengthen any of their status effects for an additional 20 seconds.
"Nowhere to go little one"
Deep in the Shadows:
You'll remind your prey that you can be anywhere at any moment...
When a survivor fails a skill check within 36 meters from you, you receive the undetectable status effect for the next 6/8/10 seconds.
"Careful with every step before you fall in the darkness with me"
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Not sure if it was obvious enough, but my killer is a skilled hunter where his perks focus on enhancing his ability to pursue his prey & crippling them. I hope you liked them!
I like the first one but I could just imagine like someone gets a hook as trapper and then immediately someone steps on a bear trap and you lose the haste almost instantly
-
@Hex_Ignored said:
I'm all ears, thrilling tremors, surge/jolt, dragon's grip, oppression, eruption
All of these perks have effects that are neat but are held back by cooldowns that are not appropriate considering what the actual effect of the perk is.
I mean thrilling would probably be busted as ######### without the cooldown and I use it as a gen defense perk.
I mean picture this you down two survivors you pick one up and hook them nearby and then you camp the other slugged survivor once thrilling wears off you immediately pick up another survivor and now have all gens not being done and you can see which ones are locked for 32 seconds
-
Rpd as survivor sided.... it's neither sided that map makes everything hard to do and hates everyone equally unless you have played resident evil 2 like 3k times

I want to be able to kick him farther and watch him ragdoll across the map like a tiny soccer ball

This proves my point of them overshining other perks, there are other perks that counter these but just not nearly as well as these ones.
Besides, nerf these and you fix a part of one of DbD's biggest issues, which makes it a whole lot easier to fix the other part
Fix the other part of people being people and looking for a win any way possible
The point I had tried to make was that why would you run say deliverance and get camped to second hook when you could run ds and prevent getting double hooked early and same on the killer side why run fun perks if you do and lose 4 gens in 80 secs. So they're are some things that can't really get changed without changing the way everyone plays
-

Those perks arent useless, theyre just heavily outshined by the strongest perks
Nerf all meta perks to the level of the 'average' perk and all of a sudden theres a lot less useless/niche perks
Except both metas exist to counter bad game design
Ds/ub/bt counters camp slug tunnel
Ruin/undying counters ######### totem spawns
So unless they fix those bad designs the meta always is going to stay the same
-
Let's not pretend halo infinite has a good progression system right now. It might be one hell of a grind here but at least it's better then 100 xp for 5 games with nothing for how you preformed that match
