Screw cross play. Unless it was console to console. I'd be down for that. But PC players can rot. As far as what I want to see in 2020 is the same thing I've wanted since I first started playing... alternate game modes.
Ur in a minority here bud no one even plays this on xbox

There’s barely any viable slow-down perks... just thanato/sloppy/ruin and knockout. If anything the devs have been nerfing slow-down add-ons quite consistently so killers are less add-on reliant... freddy’s was the latest. Huntresses Mangled add-ons got nerfed before.
Edit: There is corrupt intervention but not everyone owns it... I don’t happen to. Some of the general perks need some more bonus’s. They don’t need to be super special... would think that’s better for DLC.
And if deerstalker’s purpose is easily made void just by sound that justifies a buff.
You don’t really know if something’s good unless people experiment with them. The idea I have for Unrelenting could actually be okay sometimes against open-field deadhards for example... the quick recovery can get the odd down.
Billy has a punishment built in for travelling the map... when he stops he takes ages to be back in M1 mode. Bubba’s just traversing accurately around obstacles at 130%m/s... I’m happy for my main to be strong just not skill-less which the combo does make him abit... the reason why he wasn’t so easy was that his chainsaw took some navigation and timing... now he’s abit like old Billy Insta-saw with how he gets kills.
Rancor in the 1v1 would remove the balance just as noed/adren already do.
Literally bubba jas become more viable, not overpowered so why are you still complaining and discussing changing an entire perk simply because one killer can make pretty good use of it?

I have to agree, SWF makes the game less fun. I don't mind they pop gens fast, but when the match is over in 2 minutes, what was the point? I play for fun, not a sweatfest of praying this group will rush me
Then depip. Me and my friends have tons of fun with swf and I would stop playing if swf wasn't in the game. I think the solution to both sides is to strengthen the less mobile killers

Honestly, just fix totem spots and the perk just becomes better to run and doesn't get cleansed in 10 seconds. For real.
That's not really fixing the problem. The problem is that the game goes too fast without the perk but it's bs that we have to waste a perk slot for something that should be in the game automatically.

The only thing I don't like about it are the character specific goals, especially for survivor when it doesn't play any different. I've never put a single Bloodpoint into jake so I'd be going in on a suicide mission for unhooks just because this thing told me to.
Isn't that a fun challenge though. No perk challenge is fun sometimes and the rift is nothing but a way to make the game more fun by forcing you to do genuinely hard challenges unlike the daily rituals.

Killers should be feared.
It shouldnt be as easy to just evade the killer through dozens of windows and pallets. The feeling survivors should get is that they are in the clutches of the entity and the killer who works for them, rather then just this nuisance that keeps you from working on generators for about a minute then fricks off bc the other survivors are all getting generators done.
I feel like this could be very easily fixed by just tweaking the core mechanics of the game *cough* just a lil bit *wheEze*.
In all seriousness though, it truly wouldn't be that hard to make generators slow down a bit, maybe nerf loops and just maybee buff killers basic abilities.
Well could u mention how to do that. Saying it needs to be fixed and not listing how is pointless.
-
1) they should increase generator time by 20 - 40 seconds and test it out in PTB.
2) Get over it. Do pips really matter just have fun playing with addons that you enjoy
-
By time you're good enough to get to red ranks hex ruin will have came to the shrine. Also nurse isn't getting nurfed. Her Op addons are. Yes they said maybe a small tweak to her base kit but they aren't changing her power in anyway maybe just a numbers change like blink speed

You want to know why you should care? It's called having empathy. Basic human decency. There is a human being playing against you that should be respected just as you should be.
How bold of you to outright state you will continue being toxic. How deplorable...
Well this is a game and we are supposed to have fun as long as it's not directly hurting the feeling of someone or giving personal insults. If im playing the game very toxic like the killer has the right to be toxic right back and take revenge and if they don't than that's their own fault

if gen rushing isn't toxic then facecamping isn't either. killer is suppossed to kill after all
Gen rushingnis completing the the objective as fast as possible. The killer equivalent of that is downing, hooking, and finding the next survivor as quick as possible. Face camping is not at all the killer equivalent of gen rushing.

I can help!
Survivors,
- Boil Over, Left Behind, Lightweight (is it even working?), No Mither, No One Left Behind, Up The Ante, Vigil, Wake Up, and We're Gonna Live Forever.
Killers,
- Beast of Prey, Dying Light, Hangman's Trick, Insidious (could be made more useful), Iron Maiden, Monstrous Shrine, Play With Your Food, Territorial Imperative
Lightweight does work there's a comparison video on YouTube and i honestly dont think it needs a buff. It's viable at purple ranks and at red if paired with other stealth perks.

Sure that's a goal but the game's really not that fun at that point.
-
Even trutalent someone who is a killer main but still plays both sides a lot, said that some of her addons are overpowered and extremely reduce the amount of skill needed to play her. If you're good at nurse, this "nerf" won't do anything.
-
A way to stop toxicity on console is to just implement a pregame and endgame chat with filters. If theres an easy option that has filter I think more people will use it than go and private message. But I'm not sure, if you're toxic you'll quickly find out about every filter and stop using the in game chat within the first week and will just continue your toxicity through private messaging like you did before.
-
Well personally I hunger over ruining someone else's game if I can't seem to get a kill whether that's face camping or dcing so.... until they put a 5 minute time out for dcing on both sides, I'm gonna keeping doing it. They also need to activate an automatic filter in endgame and pregame chat so you cant say bad words. This can still be bypassed but putting a space between each letter of your insult or by using an asterisk. But hey there's only so much you can do, and it's at least a step in the right direction.

A buff means to make stronger for the player using the character/perk. Old DS was stronger for the survivor but was worse for the entire game's health. Your definition of buff was wrong. @switch
-
@switch said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/596935#Comment_596935
100% ds is better now, maybe not as good as the first ds when all 4 could use it on the go, but better than every single other ds.
The first DS got nerfed very quick within 2-3 months, and now is better than the older version of it when you had to wiggle to 35 to get it.
Don't stress to much i play this game since beta, had reach rank 1 every single season on both sides, and judging by what kind of "nerfs" you listen me, is pretty obvious that you play only 1 side, thats why is hard for you to grasp the DS thing, again i dont blame you, if i didnt play killer i would agree with you.
And of the flashlight subject INSTAST flashlights were a bug, search on youtube whats the difference between INSTANST and FAST flashlight you should find some videos from 2016 with instant and from 2017 with fast.
A buff makes it stronger for the person playing the character/ using the perk. Old DS was stronger for the survivor but overall was worse for the balance of the game. So the DS nerf was a nerf. You're definition of buff is incorrect.

The simple answer is: Time.
There's only so much we can do with each update and we have to weigh our options. Something like changing the numbers on a perk can be fairly easy and just requires a bit of playtesting, but something like adding new conditions or effects requires a lot more work.
To take monstrous shrine as an example; increasing the numbers alone would not make it a perk you would want to use (unless it's ridiculously high, in which case it would more likely be used as a perk to quickly camp someone to death, which isn't something you would want to encourage).
In 3.1.0 (mid-chapter) specifically, a lot of the live balance time was spent on the Nightmare rework, not leaving much time for other changes. Completely reworking a killer takes a huge amount of work, so we need to put perk changes to the side.
We'd still love to revisit all of those perks, they're not forgotten, it's just a matter of priorities. If you'd rather see more perk changes, let us know and we'll see what we can do.
I would rather see perk changes and killer reworks than releasing the lore library and the battle pass, and bringing out new killers. I cant speak for everyone but I think many agree.

Trapper is a mixed bag in terms of power. He can be looped, wastes a lot of time picking up his power from the ground and setting traps. He can be strong, but with the current meta of the game he is not in a good spot. He should have by default:
- carry 2 traps,
- have a dye already applied,
- reopen traps on the ground without picking them up,
- more traps should spawn on the map and they should be closer to his objectives not on the outskirts
I agree this feels really easy to put in the game and should be done very quickly. I also think they should make doctor and leatherfsce stronger.

Unfortunately I haven't saved a screen shot. But one time, one of the SWF group whom I just 4K-ed asked me something like "HAVE YOU EVER SEEN A PUSSY? ARE YOU A VIRGIN?" The others were relatively civilized and friendly, but this one kept attacking me in this fashion.
To this, naturally, I explained I'm still a virgin, but it's ok, my mom says it's too early, no need to hurry. Also added that I'm 44. For some reason it made here even more mad.
Honestly, often it's female players who throw the worst tantrums. I'm not really sure allowing girls to play video games is a good idea. They're just not emotionally strong enough to handle stress. Respect for the ones that do though; there are always exceptions.
Btw, @se05239 is completely wrong here. Best decision of mine was to open up comments for anyone. Sooooooooooooooo incredibly entertaining! Post-game chat, profile comments, these are all good fun. Yea you leave yourself open for sharp insults whenever you lose of course. Those can hurt. But even so, it's worth it, it's wonderful to see the rivers of salt!
That's incredibly sexist.

@Acesthetiic It won't let me quote you >.>
GF is definitely B tier, I say tied with Myers or just below him. His power has a TON of utility. You get stealth, one shot, and tracking all in one. Breaking stalk is very buggy, for both sides, but it's something you can definitely play around with practice. The thing is you need to employ all his tactics throughout the game. If you just stick to one aspect of his power he's not that good. He doesn't have as much variety to his kit as Myers, but he is indeed damn strong when used properly. I just think many people get frustrated with the stalk break thing and don't really push him to his potential. It happens where you have games where they break stalk constantly, and I found the best thing to do in those situations is to avoid stalking too much, instead use just the stealth aspect (with crouch) and try to bait them to break your stalk at bad times (eg. when they are trying to hide from you). Or try to 99 survivors and not chase them, opting for the ones that have less stalk instead. Then when they try to do something ballsy (which they will to break your stalk), you tap stalk and get a free insta-down from it.
GF is also the top of SS tier for memes.
Also I disagree with your A tier. It should be Billy, Spirit, Hag. Then B tier would be Huntress, Myers, GF.
This thread wasn't and isnt about discussing tier list it's about who's the worst so no point discussing killers that are obviously not the worst and or need a rework

My main problem? Whenever I try out a new killer(Nurse recently), I get toxic cocky survivors say stuff like "EZ CLAP" "BABI NURSE GG EZ" "Don't you know you're supposed to hook us?" "LMAO"
T-bagging at pallets for no reason then disconnecting when I down them
Doing gens and letting me yoink them, then they disconnect for being potatoes.
Running around like an idiot behind me and suiciding on hook when I hook them
Gen Rushing when I am playing respectful killer and being called an EZ killer noob
So do you want me to hook you all and kill you all and also put on NOED to satisfy your salty butts? Do you want me to insidious camp? Want me to summon ebony moris for you guys? >:(
And whenever I use a (slightly) toxic build, I get cute new survivors that I am forced to spare. It's not fair when I don't know when to activate toxic mode or respectful killer mode. :(
(Take note that I hook everyone twice and slug people to let them escape, unless someone is toxic in-game)
I agree this is why they need causal mode and try hard mode. I think both models should have a rank system but if I'm playing killer just trying to chill and have a fun time I want casual gameplay where people won't be trying so hard and getting mad, or teabagging. If I'm practicing my nurse and wanna go try hard then I would play on the try hard mode. The only problem is I dont know if dbd has enough people on at one time to be able to do this.

Sorry that you are running into such lame kinds of people (the toxic ones). As a survivor main, I think being a friendly killer is a good thing (not only so you aren't grouped together with toxic and/or rude killers) as it actually makes people (including myself) want to run into a killer like that again.
There are definitely tons of toxic survivors and killers, so I have some hope to see the community get better overall, and gameplay wise.. it makes me want to return to DBD after a long break from the game (I'm sure everyone that just wants to play the game fairly and have a good time..) would also want to return to said game if there was less toxicity going around.
Hope you have a good day/afternoon/night 😊

I think all the perks are fine except adrenaline. I suggest keeping the same healing ability but reduce the speed to 50%/60%/70% for 5 seconds, and you stay exhausted forever once activated. I think this would be fair and allow only a small second chance that could only be used by smart players. That way it's more skill based to get use of it.
You could also make it to where it's an obsession perk and it stays honlw it is if your the obsession, and if not then you only get the speed boost and no regen.
