I know, it's awful but a system that must be. Imagine a system that understand internet corruptions. Everyone will just use it. Maybe someone will turn off their modems, or a new program like a hack will came out. etc. etc. dude. The devs have nothing to do with your internet, it's your problem. Only thing I can say is, take a better internet,as you said, sorry..
I have no better internet options minus finding some great phone provider with a great hotspot

It's that simple, stop ruining the game for others.
oh sure just stop playing the game I've spent 116.46 dollars on

Nah, Ruin is worst, more annoying because every killer has it nowadays. Your team just needs to be proactive and take out all five before the last gen pops.
I wonder why everyone brings ruin maybe it's to try and stop gens from being done as fast

This. I usually don't even cleanse the ones I see anymore because it actually makes things worse for the most part. It's honestly best to only cleanse the well hidden totems if you come across them.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/115560/is-noed-really-that-radical
Because that statement is usually true. When I go against a bad killer that gets looped for ages, they always have NOED. So many bad killers rely on this perk alone to get kills, instead of actually learning how to play and that makes it an unhealthy perk for the game in my opinion.
My biggest problem though is that there is no totem counter in the game so it makes cleansing totems very annoying for solo survivors and all 5 totems almost never gets cleansed unless I get them all by myself (which takes ages). If only the devs cared about solos more.
Kinda hard to learn when they end up playing loop simulator

Same actually

I think if they lie about it it is either not a lie and the scratch marks were in a stupid place like someone ran for a second, they are actually lying or they have past experience with survivors and know some might not take "I saw you behind a tree" because there is no way they could have been seen
-
No seriously you usually have to run ruin or you are screwed as a killer

Per devs statistics 4 man SWF has average 49% escape rate.
How about you provide something meaningful besides a Tru3 video? Oh I forgot killer mains don't do that.
The devs have also said not to put to much faith into stats because there are way to many variables

I'm an Ace main no reason I just liked him but I play whatever survivor I am currently leveling

That is exactly the current situation of the perk
Okay but it would be the same thing with a distance based change
-
@DepressedClownMain said:
Borrowed is not an overpowered perk. All it does is prevent camping killers, so why can't the perk be distance based instead of TR based. The perk won't work against a cloaked Wraith, NS Ghostface, Insidious whatever, Freddy, Dark Devotion users, Dead Rabbit T2 myers and more. And on the other hand, killers with a big terror radius get punished by existing. Just make the perk activate the killer is in a 32 meter proximity to the hook, and make it so mending is also distance based and not TR
Because it's problematic in the sense it can't be to small of a range or killers can easily negate it or to large or survivors can be stupid with it

What are YOU doing in those 3 minutes though? Obviously not enough to encourage more survivors to get off of gens.
Most of the time I'm only making my way to the second gen cause I end up in dead land on a large map

You need to put more pressure on the survivors and use your teleport more frequently. You indirectly stall the game further by doing this by incentivising the survivors to wake up more frequently by wasting time either running to a clock, an awake teammate, or stupidly failing a skillcheck.
Can't exactly do that when 4 gens are done in like 3 minutes

Buff Pig? She is literraly on top 5 kill rate according to stats
The stats are all kinds of screwy they don't account for suicides or afk survivors or survivors who just screw around
-
@[Deleted User] said:
Good, now I have one more reason to hope they do.
Anyways no one wants a DS nerf really they just don't want it to punish killers for a survivor mistake.
I mean a lot of people want the timer shorter or hooking someone else de-activating it that might count as a nerf
-
These stats are way to dependent on certain things let me point out that there are either survivors who suicide or screw around or a Mori those count as kills
-
Eating a DS can screw your whole game up sorry but the 60 second timer is way to long
-
@C3Tooth said:
For me, I would like to have Corrupt power has charge count, not timer. So she will not so Op when she gain Corrupt near the gate in end game, or too weak being too far and have her power cooled down by the time she walks to the area she wants
Hate to tell you this but if Plauge getting corrupt in end game and steam rolls isnt Plauge being op but a survivor being stupid

But still, if the survivors are incapable of making the killer unable to play, then why is the killer able to?
Because the killers are all supernatural in some way and the survivors are normal people even the "normal" killers are strengthened by the Entity
-
Two things one let your brother have an opinion I the right hands even Trapper can be a great killer and two you are too lazy to make up an actual argument like sheesh
-
Here is the thing though unless they are giving something super exclusive real world item it really doesn't matter the legacy staying only those who got it I can agree with because it was a pain to level back then but everything else doesn't really matter

What I don't understand is the devs' logic behind having no more exclusives in the game when there are still a good handful of cosmetics that are unobtainable/exclusive after the change. Plus, any cosmetic in the current rift will become exclusive once it closes and the next opens.
Double standard, much?
Didn't they say rift cosmetics would go on the store

Honestly the changes aren't to bad some add-on changes felt a bit to much but other than that they did good they didn't gut Spirit nor her add-ons now hopefully they will start buffing weaker killers in turn my bing bong boy wants some love

Obviously they are not the same thing and different people woukd have different opinions. However, in general things being balance allows the game play to be fair and enjoyable in both sides. I look at fun to be a part of fun because most people seems to enjoy things that are balance.
If the devs balance around fun things will go to #########

https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/103521/please-stop-acting-like-dbd-is-a-1v1-game
First off, you should realise the game is based on players having fun then it does with them having long chases. This has NOTHING to do with suriviors having to loop the killer, but them enjoying themselves while playing this game. If this was the case then explain why killers such as Nurse took 2 years to get nerf? Surely if a strong killer such as the nurse who is capable of ending chases in 20 seconds or less, would have got nerf sooner, right? But she didn't because players were enjoying themselves which is why she didn't get nerf in that time period. Obviously as time goes by people were not enjoying themselves playing against her which is why she got nerf. The same reason instant heals got nerf is because killers were not having fun against it.
Secondly, you forgot to mention what if the killer starts slugging. You also forgot if the killer uses perks to slow the game down.
You also collect that data from Scott Jund who stated that the surivior he was playing against was one or if not the best suriviors in this game. So it really isn't a reliable data, unless you are talking about an optimal team (then you would also have to be talking about an optimal killer to balance it). There are also killers such as Nurse, Hibiily and Huntress which are all capable of ending chases at that time, if not faster( I don't think that is a debate).
Thirdly, a killer is capable of finishing the game faster than a surivior doing gens, so is it really the objective time to blame or the killer's skill? But you would srill say suriviors are the power role instead of killers?
I'm joking (kind of), but when you guys speak of objective time do you guys even know how long you want it to take? Do you understand how boring the gameplay would be for suriviors doing gens for more than 80 seconds(especially if a killer uses ruin)? Do you truly think it would make much of a difference? These are questions I think people should ask more before jusr saying simple things.
I don't disagree with the objective time, but I don't like how you are treating killer mains as if they are just fodder to suriviors majority of the time, when it is untrue. Worst case, use leatherface and camp in the basement you are always certain for 2 kills or more each game.
No balance and fun aren't the same thing because everyone has a different definition of fun

... SELF CARE IS NOT A GOOD PERK
Don't even try to tell me it is. At brown ranks (15-20) maybe. But if you are green, purple, or god forbid red, and I see you running self care at anything lower than 10 I immediately know you are the most boosted animal to walk the planet.
"But it allows me to have full health to go in for a save" "But it allows for a safer escape when fully healed" "But being injured makes noise"
None of those are good reasons to waste time healing with self care. If you are that concerned with being injured. Bring a medkit. Or bring inner strength.
Self care heals take 24 seconds. 50% speed on a 16 second action makes it take 24 seconds. A brown medkit does it in 16. One heal. But you can bring addons for that, or a different medkit.
If you arent playing claudette and running self care that means you either
A) have claudette leveled high enough to get self care, or
B) got it in the shrine
Do option A with Nancy (if you have the dlc) or just get it in the shrine. Inner strength is an 8 second heal at tier 3. Half of a base heal.
Self care is a bad perk because it wastes way too much of a survivors time in a match with them using it to heal over the gens. Gens take 60 seconds. Self care time is almost the same as getting half a gen done. As a killer, I love people who run self care. Because I know they are too concerned with healing themselves they will waste time over doing gens and I can keep more pressure on the map after just smacking them once and getting 24 seconds of no gen activity from that person.
Self care is NOT a good perk. In fact I would say it is the worst perk due to the number of people who use it and spread the belief that it is a god-tier survivor perk. Causing more people to run it and waste gen time by sitting in corners healing because they are scared of taking a hit and actually learning to run the killer around for more than 5 seconds before getting downed.
The one time self care is good. Is in a build with Botany Knowledge, Streetwise, Self Care, and We'll Make It, while running a ranger medkit. It gets used for item efficiency at that point and keeps that ranger medkit in your inventory longer.
Overall point of this. Stop thinking self care is good and that sitting in a corner slowly healing yourself is a good idea for you or your team. It isn't. Just do gens, and bring a medkit if you are afraid of running a killer or taking a hit.
I say it is decent paired with knowledge and even a brown medkit

I have played as both killers and survivors although I stick to survivor mostly. What I have say about it is DC during a match is the most irritating thing. Yes a lot of the killers I face I oftentimes call them overpowered but I never DC. Most killers just happen to be smart and good at the game which is oftentimes fun unless they camp you. As far as killers being “overpowered” Freddy is definitely not one of them I actually enjoy playing against Freddy users because they bring a different challenge to the game. Now as for killers like ghost face and legion something’s could be done to change them a tad bit. But overall none of them really should make anyone DC cause that’s just a dick move.
Are you saying legion needs more nerfs? They already murdered them

I mean Pallet looping is a part of the core aspect of the game if it was not then pallets would not be in the game.
Gen rushing is also a part of the core of the game survivors need to repair gens to escape so of course they are gonna do exactly that granted killers have way more tools to deal with generators back when i first started playing you only had ruin and that was it compared to now you have PGTW,Corrupt,Ruin,Thana and Sloppy to make healing longer.
I mean you can make the argument everyone is biased i mean your statement alone is biased towards one side just saying everyone to an extent is biased.
Okay but killing survivors faster ie tunneling is frowned on explain
