Styptic Agent, maybe? Did he have a med-pack?

Definitely not. He healed literally half a second after a hit, for every hit.

  • Was he wearing the hallowed blight outfit? Pretty sure i ran into him today too.

Survivor can still loop you at windows infinites.

If your smart you give up those chases in favor of spots that have no safety. Not every build is perfect and that's where your personal skill comes in.

I would like to see your thoughts

He is mainly used to waste survivor time. If you use him right, the survivors will take much longer to complete their objective and with that extra time you can wipe them out. People like to say hes awful but personally, if you use him in a very aggressive and target switch often you can have plenty hooks before a gen can even be fixed.

I want more edgy looking outfits the bright outfit on legion is gross looking in my opinion

I love design aspects of all sorts of things. I am fascinated of how characters are designed especially creatures, and theres so many unique "Edgy Teen" looks they can give them. I am in full agreement with you.

  • I had a survivor tea-bagging me and trying to catch my attention so they could loop me, being very "you'll never catch me haha" about it. I was Ghost face, and managed to stalk and down them, and the moment I picked them up, they DCd.

There's also Bill. Bill came without a killer.

There's going to be 17 killers and 19 survivors once the next chapter launches. Take that how you will.

Guess next update will need two new killers huh? (Cough Cough alien vs predator cough cough)

  • Soon as my boy Micheal was added i couldn't resist.

The devs said that they stay in their own respective maps. According to the lore, every Killer has their own realm. It shouldn't be possible to have Myers on Autohaven and Wraith on Haddonfield, but obviously it's possible due to gameplay reasons.

Every Killer stays on the map that they were released with.

Then what about leather and ghost? Those two faces didn't get themselves maps.

  • @tosseeh said:

What is your rank? I found out that at rank 8-12 you get your game almost instantly.. but at 20 it is truly terrible.. 20 minutes or more sometimes.

    Rank 16 I believe, maybe 14.

  • @HazeHound Leatherface, the reason i mentioned ghost face was the backstory to why im grinding blood points with Leather, which in turn lead to my curiosity on whats best for him.

Lol bet GF be hanging with them too then, maybe Freddy (there were a few times is swear he was on something) lol I think I now know why the low tier killers are low tier they took Claudette's botany knowledge just to chill pre trial XD

    Wouldn't surprise me honestly. XD

  • As much as that would be cool for fans, I think it wouldn't happen because it would be weird to just have a character who looks like a survivor roaming around as a killer.

  • @GrandpaBill24 I actually listened to that one before i chose the other one, and I think the main reason why was because it didn't have as much a sense of urgency to it. Don't get me wrong its an intense song, but I think with the one I chose, the quick alternating notes at 0:40 really fit a DBD chase in my head. This is all my opinion though, and I think either choice would be excellent, I'm just leaning a little towards the other.

  • @PresidentDinosaur115 that would be cool to think of. The four of them meet up between trials and brag about how their last hunts went. Wonder what else they'd talk about.

  • Don't care about what people say. You play your way and a way where you have fun. I can see why NOED is frowned upon, but its preventable, and a part of the game like any other mechanic. Use it whenever you want and don't fall into false rules that anyone makes up.

  • @PresidentDinosaur115 holy crap i completely forgot that's what happened in the trailer. Maybe the entity let them do a few trials as a team and then after a while whenever the survivors saw one legion they knew they didn't stand a chance and just gave in. So afterwards the entity just kept them separate. I wonder if the four still get to chill out together in between trials though.

  • @Ihatelife as a sort of neutral theme for when killer is not near? That would really add an air of desperation to the map, I like it.

  • @ReikoMori said:

First, don't use mori as the game is setup to cap your devout score if you do. Survivors are worth more to you alive than dead.

To get Merciless Killer you will need these things to happen:

    4 sacrifices

9+ hooks to max out devout emblem

All gens defended for at least the first 9mins of the game as during that time the score is weighted heavier. Doing this maxes your Gatekeeper emblems

You need at least 15-20 hits to get the best Malicious emblem score

You will also need to have lots of short chases that end in hits.

Getting Merciless and double pipping go hand in hand. You won't get one without the other.

Doesn't that seem like a lot though? I mean double pipping is something that you have to work for and earn, and that is completely understandable, however I feel that it shouldn't have to be that intense to get an achievement that up until now has been fairy difficult to obtain. I agree that double pipping and the title merciless killer should be as difficult, but for the achievement it kinda rubs me the wrong way.

In terms of chase her vomit is clear as to how it is strong. You just break them during chase.

the only time infecting objects seems useful is on generators that are at high percents, since you can kick it, then infect it, and there is 35 seconds of regression that survivors are afraid to touch it. And if they do touch it you will know they are there (like a built in surveillance)

if you want to spread the sickness as a strategy, I suggest slugging. Broken survivors on the ground get their saviors sick. I mean you can do that on the hook to. Regardless, the sickness only spreads on broken survivors

Ill give it a shot. Maybe it is infectious but i'm using it wrong. I was unaware that the more you vomit on someone the worse they get.

  • @[Deleted User] said:

I’ve seen the infection pass on in every match. Just watch the survivor status indicators at the bottom of the screen.

Every time a survivor repairs a puked on gen, vaults a puked on pallet or window, heals a downed infected teammate, hook saves an infected teammate, they acquire the infection, forcing them to find a fountain.

I have never seen a survivor who is infected saved from a hook spread the infection to the savior. You sure that works?

  • u really need to buff the bloodpoints u get while playing plague.it makes no sense that u get only 300 bp(like a normal hit) when using corrup purge.infection, fountains, vile purge bp and its post hit are not enough either.if u make a 4k u get like 25k bp max, when i make that amount of bp with other killers without getting a single kill.

you know I have noticed that if i go the whole match vomiting on everything in sight, by the end of it i barely get a quarter of the circle filled. More BP please.

  • @No1TheLarch said:

I feel like its really good as is, you can use it like a backrev and get quickish downs. plague is strong now and prolly right above myers and below hag/huntress

Could you elaborate? How could I use her infection to its full potential?

  • @SolarFoxVB said:
Maybe you could just change the perk to where the survivor gets a benefit to something while any other survivor is in a chase.

Actually sometimes when I'm working on a gen with another survivor either them or I distract the killer and just run them around in circles while the other fixes the gen. So maybe a boost to gen repair when another survivor is in a chase? Or maybe if we were to keep the whole "them not me" thing and entice the killer to chase another survivor this survivor gets a speed boost along the lines of adrenaline or lithe when near another survivor, to entice the killer to go for the slower one.

  • It would also be worth mentioning that the idea of this survivor would focus on self preservation over anything else. He is a coward after all.

  • @SolarFoxVB Yea Well in a sense once the killer drops you for the friend you run away and the exposed effect is dropped. The reason it doesn't just make them visible is cause the killer needs a reason to drop you and go for them. I know its a bit of a bad idea but the uniqueness of it just attracts me to it. Any suggestions on how it could work in a way that's beneficial enough to use?

  • 1) PS4
    2)Dunno what that is
    3)Survivor
    4)Public lobby
5)Vial was about two thirds full. I was allowed to fill it but it didn't give me the currency.
6)Vial was not visible during match.
    7) When two thirds full yes when "full" no.
    8) Not visible

I went on to play killer thinking this was a new requirement to get the currency (fill both get to claim) but the same issue happened for killer. The next day the issue seemed to resolve and i received both vials but i hope this doesn't happen again.

Aura is only 100% useful with nurse and Billy, maybe spirit. You should be after the BP if you are not playing one of the mentioned killers.

I used it to get adept Cannibal.

  • @Peasant said:
BBQ is actually a good perk by itself. The Bloodpoint gain is excellent though it's aura ability has several counters. If you use Knockout with it though, the perk becomes great. Knockout increases the odds that folks will be far enough out of the hook radius for the aura to trigger.

But as i stated by the time i get to their location and check around they've rushed the hook. I feel like the aura thing yes does help but i don't get the hype over it.

  • @deadwolfwalking said:
BBQ is a decent perk but it attracts more salt than anything. No matter how well you play, you'll be hardpressed to get a 'gg' or anything positive. Its considered a crutch perk even though most killers run it for the BP gain. I don't care much about BP so i took it out of my loadout.

See I don't understand that. It's not even that good why do they get salty over it?

the most important detail 100% BLOOD POINT GAINS IN ALL CATEGORIES!!!

So its mainly a BP grinding perk?

yes its still a great perk because it lets you know if your hook is about to be rushed and you should stick round but other than that who doesn't like bloodpoints. if you really dont feel its great then replace it with something that help you against your weak points. say you cant stand flash lights Lightborn then. say you consantly get palletted Enduring. Decisive strike messing you up then uh... :|

Gives me the room for deerstalker!

  • the most important detail 100% BLOOD POINT GAINS IN ALL CATEGORIES!!!

  • @CoolAKn Alright so in a sense the more people are dead the more i can stare at him. Wow I hear SS get a lot of crap for being useless but matched with OoO the killer would be LUCKY to find you. You pretty much know where he is at all times.

Why would you consider Deerstalker a crutch perk? Or are you saying you don't want to give up a crutch perk for something like Deerstalker?

He's not saying Deerstalker is a crutch perk in the way the community perceives, "crutch". He's saying he wants to get better at finding downed survivors rather than rely on a perk to do it for him.

    Exactly.

  • @iceman2kx in the most recent match that i had this problem, I went back to the general location I left them, and then slowly spiraled outwards until i heard grunts and didn't. Maybe I am underestimating the distance but if they don't know where the hatch is or way too far, then where would they nuzzle themselves to bleed out? Also is leaving them to bleed out a preferable outcome to an escape hatch or is there no point difference?

  • I feel the camping was penalized enough with gen rushing. When I first started this game ever I was THE WORST camper you'd ever see. If i hooked someone, they wouldn't get away. I wouldn't leave. You know what that resulted in? By the time he was dead, all gens were done and I couldn't find anyone before they all escaped. For a majority of my early matches, id only ever get 1 kill. I only started getting MUCH better once I quit camping and went off to get other survivors after hooking one. Camping in and of itself, was generally a bad idea, unless you knew for a fact other survivors were sneaking around for that save. Recently I had a match where I got 3 iridescent (or as i call it crimson) medals and one gold, and I got the gold because of the points removed for "camping". The problem here was that I WASN'T camping, I was the trapper putting traps down in escape points, so that if that survivor got unhooked they or their savior would most likely get trapped. I was penalized for doing the trappers job under the blame of "camping". I don't think there needs to be a punishment in camping because there already WAS. As for the argument that its not fun for the hooked survivor, I agree but in that case just struggle as long as possible to SPITE the camper and make sure he loses the other three and then just join another match.

  • @CoolAKn Ill have to do a bunch of killer test runs. Thank you for the tips!

  • @CoolAKn I've noticed that Freddy doesn't need the Deerstalker perk either. Ill study the killers and see what i can and can't get away with.

Quick question, Does the Shape's Stalk ability let you stalk downed survivors? If so i could sweep the area in stalk mode and the silhouette will glow.

  • @CoolAKn so either way ill need some form of perk to use that strat huh? I kinda had a feeling. I wanted three slots for killer assigned perk and the fourth to play around with and see whats best but i guess for my play style Deerstalker is best.

  • Just an update, I played Freddy with the lowest level of fire up and the lowest level of that other perk that makes the exit gates take longer to open when you hit your obsession. I would put one person to sleep and then wander off to put others to sleep. If I had two or three asleep I would stalk them using the main ability's allowance of letting me see distant survivors through walls and would watch the silhouette carefully to see if there in the wake up animation. I would chase down anyone who was and re-sleep them as well as pull the person trying to wake them up into the dream then went to work. Got all four kills, and highest amount of blood points in all categories. Thanks for the tip guys! Now I can cause some serious nightmares.

  • Thanks to everyone for the tips. I've been trying them all out and while I still suck I'm managing to actually HIT people more often. At this point I just have to practice a bit more. Wish me luck that I get my first four kill match soon! (Or at least two kill XD)

  • @Dreamnomad as far as I'm aware the killers who abilities are directly used in chases are hillbilly, nurse, doctor, leatherface, huntress, spirit, and clown. The rest use their abilities outside of a chase. The pigs ability doesn't really seem as helpful during a chase than it is to catch unaware survivors. Plus maybe the perks could be used for chase assist. Either way not every ability is used in chase and it wouldn't hurt to have another who lacks in the chase category, especially if its great at locating survivors.

  • My favorite Micheal's. Sure it's simple but sometimes simple and effective is better than bloody and disgusting. Plus its twice as satisfying when using the tombstone and just grabbing somebody full health and slaughtering them.

Worst in my opinion is the trapper. He just kinda starts slashing and doesn't even look like he's into it. He looks like hes just killing someone out of obligation more than sadistic pleasure.

  • @thesuicidefox thank you! My main reasoning for wanting to put them all to sleep was also because I would see who was already asleep from a distance so even if I let them get away I can come back for them later.

  • @mcNuggets gotta get those dailies done. Don't have to be aggressive friend we all have the same interest here, i'm just looking for constructive advice.
