  • If they’re fun to play i’ll totally be buying them.

  • The new Trapper skin is amazing. I just really like the weapon and gas masks always look rad.

I forgot about Blood Warden, that’s a really good choice!

  • Shes probably the most relatable out of the 4. Honestly unless your edgy she’s the member people will gravitate more too, because I can tell you that i’m more like her then the other 3 members of the Legion.

  • For me it’s flashlights, they just make me kinda mad so I don’t like playing against them.

  • I wish killers had their own personal track like Micheal does when he chases you.

Ok, i hope you are having fun with your Rank 20 experience.

    I’m at rank 6

  • Anybody that is reading this, just know that you are loved and that you do matter and people care for you.❤️

  • Better ways to deal with toxicity. It drives away new players, anoyy's good players and it just makes the game less enjoyable

  • Visual wise probably Lery's, Lery's just has this creepy look to it from the massive hallways to the claustrophobic rooms with flickering lights make it a very immersive map. Gameplay wise for me probably the Temple, because its a large map with a massive building for both people who are good at being chased, and people who are good at stealth.

    How many shards you got?

    Around 3500

  • My definition for toxicity is simple. If you are ruining someone’s else’s game by belittling them and making them feel bad.

  • Stake out, it lets you repair gens must faster and makes healing quicker as well. And it rewards stealth!

  • I don’t look down in the survivors for using any really strong perk. More like I just don’t enjoy the perks themselves if that makes sense.

  • I personally dislike tydetyme, he makes the game a very negative space especially for killers and just makes the game worse imo. I can see why people like him but i've never really trusted his opinion on much.

  • I would really like this to be in the game it would make survivors have personality and character rather then them just being skins.

  • I mean honestly it just helps me from being bored especially when I play it with the few friends I have. Otherwise it sometimes gives me anxiety so it can actually do more harm then good, but I still love the game.❤️

  • I pretty much agree with everything you said. I’ve always disliked that the dbd communitity is so divided, we all like this game so why can’t we just enjoy it together?

  • It’s unfortunate that people who play this game can be so toxic. Tbh i have a hard time dealing with it sometimes so just try to stay positive while playing, because honestly the only person you should care about when playing killer is yourself.

  • I personally think any killer can preform well, if you can play them well.

  • I would reckon that they have an individual design team that makes the cosmetics rather then the game design team. Otherwise we wouldn’t have been getting good chapters and updates from BHVR.

  • My name is Kim because i like the name and i’m insecure about people knowing my real name.

  • To play as billy, i could just never get into him and i was really bad with the chainsaw. To play against probably pig, because for some reason everybody camps me as pig:(

  • I play a lot of trapper and i would say the Game is definitely the worst map for him.

  • It’s all good dude just play how you want to honestly. This game and the forums have taught me that.

  • I want a cosmetic for trapper and he would be a hunter. It’s in his powers name “beartraps” so i would want him to be covered in pelts and have a tooth necklace around his neck. And maybe a serrated machete? This is just my idea tho.

  • The perk thing sucks and all you can do for that is grind.

As for losing, honestly if you can do ok with Trapper and Doc then you will clean house when you start using stronger killers. Trapper and Doc are pretty weak. Give it a few games as Hillbilly, Spirit or Hag and you will be much more dominating.
So my trapper is P3 with every perk and he’s my favorite killer by far which is why i play him the most. I tried billy and hag and i just couldn’t do it.
  • If you want a good fun killer get spirit, if you want a good killer with good perks get clown.
  • I sometimes do this as trapper because you get so caught up chasing people you forget that you have to place traps. :]
  • One time i brought a purple flashlight with batteries and the killer was hag and the entire match i just followed her and destroyed all her traps it was amazing.
  • i think a 2v6 would be better honestly. I think there would just be to many survivors if it was 8
  • When i play killer and survivors do toxic things. Yes it kinda affects me idk if it’s my anxiety but it simply does do stuff to me when people are toxic. I try to never be toxic when i’m killer i simply just try to kill the survivors so when they are doin this stuff too me even tho i feel like i did nothing, it affects me. Just wanted too get that out there. :(
  • Do you experience actual physical symptoms? I don't mean severe ones, just things like slightly shaking hand, elevated heart rate? If so, then it really is an anxiety problem. Not necessarily something to worry about too much, but something to be aware of. Mostly because there are ways to fix it or at least greatly reduce it.

I believe I can give you some useful tips. If you're interested.
I do actually have real anxiety and symptoms like this everyday.

Smell the flower, blow out the candle.

If you really like the concept of this game, and want to continue playing this game, I'd recommend starting with mostly Survivor's role.

As a Killer, if you don't make sacrifices, it's easy to feel bad since you are supposed to be playing the role of a big, bad wolf in this "horror game."

But as a survivor, even if you are sacrificed, you can tell yourself that you've just played a role of one of the many victims that are meant to be sacrificed/killed in a "horror game." And hopefully your sacrifice has helped another survivor live a bit longer for the time being in some manner or other. It's much easier to convince yourself that it's not a big deal that way.

I’m not new it’s just a thing i wanted to talk about i’m P3 trapper and Meg.

And the devs have been killing it with the updates lately, good on you devs!
Not sure if thats sarcastic or not.

Maybe im just to used to the salt and cranks to be able to tell.
Not salt, tbh i thought people would think that but i’m gonna say it anyway.
  • The classic unexpected consequences. Was it a good idea on paper, probably. Good in practice? No it wasn't

If it’s killer or survivor i have anxiety playing both roles and it’s a shame cause i really like this game. But my anxiety gets in the way a lot of the time because i ask questions like. “What if i die will my team hate me?” or “Will we lose if i don’t do that gen or save that guy?” Or as killer “If i don’t kill everybody am i bad killer?” Stuff like this makes me not want too play. Which is a shame because i really like this game.
Take a deep breath and remember this is only a game. Games are played for fun.
I have to actually like sit down and breathe sometimes (not from the game most of the time) but yeah doing breathing exercises because of anxiety sucks.

I’ll put my hands in the air and confess. I feel the same way.
I’m actually very ashamed, but it’s just the way it is.

DbD is a naturally competitive environment and at least some part of us is invested in that. We want to be effective, or at least not be a drag. And it sucks if you die several games in a row (or are first to die several times in a row) or if all the survivors get away. You let yourself down and are open to (at least partially) deserved criticism.

Not everyone feels that, but those of us who assume the worst and are a bit “rough around the edges” might see things a little differently. But do you remember how good it feels, when you escape with a purple item and lotsa BP? You got the best score of the four? Or when you slaughtered the prestige squad?

This game is absolute gold! Far from perfect but what a riot! The lows are low, the highs are high, but it doesn’t matter. It’s only a game. It. Is. Only. A. Game. Maybe that irrational part will listen eventually.

[off topic but slightly relevant] And I think what a lot of people forget is in order to “git gud”, you gotta practice. Practice, practice, practice. See you in the fog.

This was an overall pretty good way of putting things. When you said you feel ashamed though. Don’t be this my little advice to you whether it’s you just feeling a little anxious in the moment or you have an anxiety disorder of some kind. Never be ashamed of it, it’s just something that happens or if you have anxiety it’s a thing you have and you gotta accept that.
  • I see where some people come from because, we all have stuff to do or something happenes and we gotta go. But people don’t DC in this game because of that, they dc because of rage and that is what anoyy’s me.

Hey OP! I have anxiety too. Social anxiety disorder to be exact. It got so bad at one point I couldn't play multiplayer games like DbD, let alone leave my house. Anyway besides the point. I know it doesn't help saying "just don't think about it!" because I know it isn't that easy, but it's kind of the only solution.
Play however you want to, ignore pre/post-game chats if it helps, keep your profile private and your comments closed (assuming you're on PC.) People will get over it.

Hey thanks for sharing man. Yeah the old saying “just don’t think about it” is a hard thing too do, but i do sometimes play the game and worry about nothing. Other times i can only play around 2 matches before i have to stop playing.

    It's just a damn game.
    Actually it’s called anxiety

I have similar experiences when camping. NOED pops, 4 survivors remain, I hook 1 with insta-down,, I camp, 3 flock to the hook like moths to a flame, I insta down one, the other two keep trying to pull me off hook...I insta down the 3rd and chase the 4th until I down him/her. Then I get "called out" for camping lol.

I love it when survivors get outplayed and they turn a 4scape into a 4k.

Didn't take long to get the first triggered killer to reply, good job OP :)
    i did it?
  • I main trapper and i’m going to say no. Their are many reasons and one of them is the fact that trapper could have the perk bamboozle for free. Let’s say a trapper puts a trap on the window and the survivor go’s around the window you have a free bamboozle that can last for the whole game and it works for pallets as well and gets you a free hook. And imagine he would be a very toxic camper. He could place traps around a person and face camp and if someone’s tries to disarm traps or unhook he could hit people and walk over his traps with no penalty. It also rewards good trappers aswell good trappers won’t always put traps on top of windows and pallets he will set them around them (or on top of them for mind games) and the survivors get trapped. People don’t understand how strong trappers power it literally gives you a hook probably with BBQ for free in exchange for about 5 seconds of your time if placed well.

It's bad for your skills, if you dodge you'll never get good.
i don’t care about being “good” just lookin for a good time
  • Kim said:
Because i don’t think so i personally dodge flashlights and it’s not that i don’t think that there fair( because they are). But it just brings me anger i don’t personally want. And also i don’t like running franklins because is a boring perk and i hate the perk when it’s used on me so i don’t use it.
If you Dodge you should lose blood points and rank if there's no red ping, you don't deserve to rank up if you Dodge items. That being said I do understand why you would feel that way if you haven't really found a way to combat it , me I personally pretend like I'm going to pick them up one way then just turn the opposite way and pick them up or I'll run Franklin's or lightborn if they're a whole squad, you may not like Franklin's but it's a great tool to use in this situation because nothing pisses a flashlighter off more than Frankie's and another recommendation would be to gather as many killer teachables as possible on your main and find different perk builds that work for you and switch between them or build as they enter your lobby based off what you think you may need
I don’t care about rank or blood points because i really only play trapper and i have all the perks and add-ons for him that i want and i’m just looking for a good time.
  • Rex_Huin said:

Also what if survivors pick up flashlights from chests during the match. What do you do then?

i just deal with it like if i know they have flashlights i start to always face walls and such

  • 1.Luck makes it so you have a greater chance to unhook yourself and find better items. 2. By vault you mean the hatch i assume so the skeleton key and dull key can open the hatch before it’s opened when only one survivor remains 3. Flashlights and crouching did you shine a flashlight on a hag trap it will destroy it, and if you crouch over a hag trap you simply won’t trigger it. 4. Get the docter perk monitor and abuse it will make your terror radius smaller so smaller that in tier 1 you don’t have one and in tier 2 it’s still a small terror radius and it increases you FOV which helps with stalking survivors, and my other micheal tip is when your about to get evil within 3 don’t instantly pop it. Wait until your right up against a survivor than pop it for the instant down. 5. Ochido is toxic because he abuses exploits and uses these strategies and like rank 20. I hate flashlights and you can’t really counter them unless you have specific perks to counter them Franklins demise, and overwhelming presence. The reason it’s hard to counter is because the survivor if they know how to blind they will always save with flashlight and blind you at every window and pallet on the map. 6. Survivor build i would say an exhaustion perk the best one is sprint burst the second best survivor perk in the game, urban evasion is really good DS is good as well.7 .Here are some good ones Hybridpanda Theentityslefthand Jendenise and Noob3 they all stream and except for lefty they also post videos. 8. Every 4 months and in between. 9. it doesent really mean anything. Hope this helped if my post looks weird it’s because i’m on mobile.
  • ha your funny
  • Hands down gotta be trappy boi he was the first killer i played and got so many 4k’s and i just love the level of mind games and amount of traps you can get in one match. Like making people do stuff they don’t want to do like walk in a certain direction and it gets them hit or killed and i love that.
