  • Yes, it's unique, but being able to tell what killer it is just by being in the terror radius to me seems boring. You should be questioning who it is and finding out for yourself by sneaking around and spying and keeping an eye out.

  • Personally I find it to be more about yourself and your own performance as survivor. Like some others have said, pipping is a good indicator sometimes of how well you did. If I'm playing with friends then getting at least one of us out is good enough if we have to make sacrifices.

  • I just do it as a lil dance if I'm bored. I suppose sometimes it might be to get attention but otherwise I don't really do it for any reason other than to stay switched on and ready to be unhooked.

  • Making a trapper step in their own trap.

A bit cruel, yes, but so satisfying.

  • Ah so if I loop a killer for 5 gens and they camp me on one hook I'm bad? Sure.

You also said something along the lines of survivors being crybabies and going off to their moms saying why they're telling? Kind of rich coming from someone with such childish arguments but ok.

Camping is a toxic behaviour, and if you're going to complain about survivors being crybabies, then at least be fair and mention that killers usually camp when they're mad.

TL;DR stop being childish and recognise toxicity is everywhere here and not just in one group. Merry Christmas

But... the Entity is female. The Devs confirmed it a few times.

Did they say it was a female or did they just refer to it using female pronouns?

  • I just can't wait for the archives!

  • I don't think you can boil it down to those three options. Even if you could consider a killer and survivors as equal skills level there's still factors like the map, what killer, the perks etc.

Ideally it'd be a 2 or 3k and a 4k definitely within possibility but even if the survivors aren't SWF then right now I'd say they all have a good chance of escaping if they don't screw up

  • All hail the watcher!

  • Even though I didn't vote buff I do think ruin needs to be more effective. Though as others have mentioned, tweaking totem placements would be a better solution than changing the perk.

  • So basically everyone is just too bad to play in a fun way so they decide to ruin everyone else's game.

  • Let’s wait here until I know for sure the killer is coming upstairs
    Uhhhh what's that one
Coal tower? The one with the big two story thing. Groaning Storehouse? The one where you go upstairs and there's loads of boxes in the middle and there's an open thing to fall out of and everything is blue
  • Survivor Perks:
    - A Friend In Need: When others see you in pain, they're inspired to help you. Repairing, altruistic and cleansing actions of other survivors are 5/10/15% faster when within a 6 metre proximity of you when you are injured or dying. This does not stack. (To encourage a more risky playstyle)
    - Goosebumps: You can always spot when trouble's coming. When  entering the Killer's terror radius, the Killer's aura becomes visible to you/you/all survivors for 3/5/7 seconds. (Might be a bit OP)
    - Go On Without Me: You've always been ready to take one for the team. When you're hooked, all other living survivors get a 10/15/20% boost to all actions. This does not stack. (Again encouraging a risky playstyle)

    Killer Perks:
    - Peek-A-Boo: The Entity finds some amusement in your scaring of survivors. When hitting a survivor within a 24 metre range of another survivor, lose your terror radius and red stain for 6/8/10 seconds. (In order to combat SWF groups or highly altruistic stalkers)
    - Long Arm of The Law: You do whatever you can to catch your enemies. As a chase goes on, gain a slightly/moderately/considerably longer lunge range. (Wasn't sure of the name but I was thinking of a sheriff or maybe even a knight with a twisted morality killer to have this perk. A tad situational but helpful for Killer's who can't seem to catch people)
    - Every Nook And Cranny: You'll catch your prey no matter how long it takes. The Entity rewards your persistence. This perks meter will rise based on how many survivors are in your terror radius but not in a chase. As you gain tokens you receive 15/20/25% bonus bloodpoints in the hunting category for a maximum of 2/3/4 tokens.
  • We need a vampire or a werewolf with Van Helsing as the survivor.
I like the idea of a non human killer like a werewolf. Also the vampire could have a nice drain kind of ability
  • Add them to the base game! Yes! I love how they can just deafen you if you dodge the flash. I'd love a noisemaker/any item that specifically deafens the killer. It'd make sure players with headphones don't have that big an an advantage and it'd be fun to try and counter. Like maybe you could turn to the side so only one ear is deafened?
  • Uhhhh... You do realise that the Japanese army used bicycles to travel around when invading China in the 30s... Right? And I'd say the spirit is a bit older since Japanese people are less about honour nowadays. And the legion could be very modern. The clown really does throw a spanner in the work but I think you've done a good job placing him. A lot of killers stories are ambiguous about time other than a select few. So the next killer is the furthest back in time by a long shot apparently... Either it's a medieval knight gone mad or it could be a cowboy or a pirate. Thoughts?
  • I'd say the entity just gets amusement put pu watching people coming onto hope when it's pointless. I don't think the survivors will ever escape, but if they give up then they'd die for real? Or something else. But mainly I think it's just the entity being amused that they think there's a way out when there isn't.

I've had this happen on pc multiple times as well, though not very often

Happens more often then console I'd say.
Maybe it's to do with the controller and thumbsticks and how they're more precise than the mouse?
  • Never heard of this before.
Not sure if it's even true
  • You could've messaged a teammate about it. Ran back down to the basement. Anything other than wait there
  • They want to feel good about themselves. They're good enough to bully low to mid rank killers but when they go up against a prestiges rank 1 killer they get salty and call hacks. They're just being childish so no matter what don't let them get to you and keep trying to kill them. You'll get them eventually. Tbh I just camp and tunnel toxic survivors
Doesn't bother me in the slightest.
  • Same. Could just be latency. Console doesn't get as much love as PC from the Devs (which I'm ok with btw there's probably more of an audience on PC) so it could just be last connection/servers.
  • I would say the entity would like a long trial but not a drawn out one. I assume even an omnipotent force would get bored of a hatch stand-off or something along the lines of that. Still, I think the entity would want the killer to toy with the survivors as much as possible, give them false hope to feed off of. The entity might even want the survivors to escape sometimes to get a renewed sense of hope only for it to be taken away when back at the same campfire. Though the idea of losing hope by seeing everyone get sawn in half or eaten alive or choked to death or sacrificed within only a small amount of time also seems like something the entity would like, as in their killer is such a good tool or killing that there is no hope left for the survivors. It really depends on what sort of feelings the entity feeds off of I guess.
