So if I want my old sens should I go to 75 or 50??
75 felt the closest to the old 100 to me. 50 felt way too slow.
-
50% definitely feels slower than the old 100% before the patch.
-
Or make him a new killer!
-
It would be a good change if the person who gets saved with For The People would get the Borrowed Time effect.
-
BBQ, Corrupt, STBFL, Infectious Fright.
Corrupt for early game and to place portals. STBFL because we can just shred the obsession. Infectious for snowballing some map pressure.
-
It's a vicious cycle. They probably keep getting frustrated from survivors BM'ing all game and gen-rushing, then go looking for blood the next game. We all need to stop blaming one side; it's most definitely both sides. It's just a toxic community.

Like....really?
I wad playing survivor, and kept using Head On on an unfortunate victim of rank reset, and he/she kept referring to Head On, as OP.
Like, do yall exist? Head On aint even that great. It always has a place in my build because of the meme value, but really?
I actually really enjoy facing people with Head On. It's a fun perk and it's a good break from having to deal with Dead Hards for distance. Anyone claiming that Head On is OP is either bad at the game or very new.
-
I play the weaker killers like Clown frequently, but when an SWF tells me I'm bad for losing to them, abusing god loops and dead harding for distance, I will immediately play Freddy.
-
BBQ, M&A, Infectious Fright and Enduring/Pop.
-
Look up Scottjund on YouTube. Everything you need to know about the thicc boy is in his guide. Good luck!
-
Although Freddy is incredibly easy to play, I prefer him to play as over Billy. Billy has a higher skill cap and he's stressful against the best teams that know how to loop; they basically force you to have to curve around loops and NEVER let themselves get caught out of position.
-
I use the full P3 skin. It looks terrifying.
-
I'm going the opposite way on this one; I love Doctor's chase music. His terror radius music + getting chased by him is amazing as well. I feel like they did a great job, but everyone is entitled to their opinion.

But how a not free-to-play game can allow this? I payed for the fun, not for the mandatory meta killers and builds!
Clown wasn't always bad. In fact, when he first came out I heard people considered him strong. But as the years went on survivors play-styles and strategies evolved. Newer killers were given better powers, older ones reworked. Slowely Clown just faded in irrelevancy.

So this is the situation: I go with clown, cornfield map, full swf red ranks 1000+ hour when I'm purple, 300 hour, survivor pushing gens. I want to be merciless killer +2 pip. This game is perfectly balanced so it must be a way to achieve +2 pip in this situation but how? Please tell me what should i do?
The cold hard truth is that against THAT TEAM while using CLOWN, it's impossible. You're going to have a lot of people tell you otherwise, tell you to get good, etc. You need to be a different killer if you want to win against GOOD survivors. It doesn't matter what your perks are, it doesn't matter how fast you can end your chases. If the survivors spread out and focus their objective, there is nothing you can do.
-
I only bring a mori if one of the survivors has a key, or if I need to do a ritual/challenge.
-
Popular? No. But there are several smaller streamers on PS4 that are really good and fun to watch. Check out Loitkalamadea.

Complaining about toxic people but being a part of them. Double standards at its best.
I agree with this. I also give you all props for being able to read their massive run-on sentences. It was very hard to read.

Corrupt Intervention gives me some much needed time to set up some traps in the beginning.

Where do you get your weed, Dante?

If you play clean, you shouldn't be facing DS. But in the case you have to hit that guy id rather slug, somehow you gain some time by the survivors leaving the gens to heal the slugged person.
However if the survivor is toxic i would prefer waiting the minute, but never the stun.
I understand the people that wanna eat the DS, but why giving them a second chance instead of having a guaranteed kill / hook ?
This is not always true. You can try HARD to play clean and still get hit by it. There are times when I - or the killer I'm facing, snowballs very quickly and gets one or more hooks in less than a minute and then downs the guy with DS still active. Also, people who have DS active will often try to run into the killer and get in the way.
-
@Rivyn said:
With unlimited uses. Heck, the survivor should just be able to run up to the killer and stab them when it's active. That should balance it out.
That's not a good enough buff. Anyone who uses DS should be able to turn into Superman and fly out of the trial.
-
It's just in some people's nature to act this way. Maybe they had built-up frustration in a previous game. Either way, the important thing to remember is that there ARE wholesome players out there. Try not to let these instances make you forget that.

Ruin change did hurt killers massively. But i will admit the new ruin with thrilling tremors is a great combination
Sadly i agree that lower ranks are usually more fun to play as its less stressful
Generators stop regressing for the duration of being blocked off by perks.

While I wouldn’t call myself a killer main, I do lean slightly more in that direction. But to answer your question, no. I’m not hanging on. I played through the entire first rift. Lvl 70. Never paid for rift progress, just $10 at the very end to get all premium rewards.
Since then, I’ve played 2 matches (Last week). 1 survivor. 1 killer (wanted to try Oni.). That was enough. Looked for other things to do. Then I discovered The Office on Netflix.
Forums are still fun tho!
I'm so jealous. I wish I could wipe my memory of ever watching The Office just so I could watch it all over again. Hope you enjoy it was much as I did!
Back on topic, I'm still having loads of fun as killer. They key is to just try your best and don't get stressed out about it. The survivors are just there to have fun just like you are. Have fun with them. Meme around. Sure you will get those sweaty teams you just can't beat once in a while, but personally it doesn't happen all that much.
Toxicity tends to breed more toxicity. Break the cycle.

I don't think it counts as an escape because you didn't actually escape, at least I know you don't receive escape points if they dc
You actually do receive the escape points if the killer DCs, but it doesn't count towards challenges.

Trapper definitely doesn’t need anything. He has a million traps that apparently can reset themselves which means His traps are camping generators ? 😂😂 I mean, what if there’s only one spot open on a gen are you kidding me? 😂 the clown.... are you serious? His bottle he throws slows down survivors allowing him to gain distance that’s balance. They already need less than what they have available to them so you guys need to stop the complaining. Killers need a nerf and survivors don’t need ######### really. Surv are fine imo. Perks seem to be very situational which makes them balanced. Killers just lay people out once they find them and you guys have a Mori . It’s just dumb you guys complain about anything . Even if you only get 1-2 kills that should be fine. You don’t need 4K every game. If that were common as I’ve seen it in these crap ranks I’d never play this game again. Survivors want to have fun and gain points too. We aren’t gaining points if everyone’s slugged or dead before they can even do gens. I just think they should go about gens a different way such as collecting parts for them maybe rather than slowing them down. Make it interesting and fun for survivors. Tired of these hook camping slug camping killers that only care about 4Ks and kills. People wanna survive too. Points matter more.
Oh cry me a river. I'm so sick of all you people complaining and getting triggered over everything. "You guys." I play both sides BUDDY. I never said anything about camping, slugging and hook camping. I know those things suck. I've experienced them. I AM SO SICK of people putting words in my mouth. If you think the trapper and clown aren't weak then you've never played as them. If I had to sit here and list off everything that someone thinks is not balanced in this game I would BE HERE ALL NIGHT TYPING. I shouldn't have to write an essay every time I want to reply to someone's thread. Both sides need to chill out!

Jesus way to acknowledge nothing other than killer needs. So terrible this game is. Killers don’t need anything more than what they already have 😂 so spoiled. Friday 13 Jason is so limited and has way more survivors to worry about. In here killers got it easy. How much more do they need to spoon feed you?
I'm confused. Didn't I just defend survivors in that post? Damn people in this forum are so delusional. The devs will never make the players of this game happy because you all don't know what you want.
-
The devs are working hard to deliver us the most balanced game they can. They aren't perfect. Even though certain killers need to be buffed/changed (Trapper, Clown, Bubba.) The gap between killer and survivor power isn't as large as some people are making it out to be. Coming from a killer main.
-
You can open the door yourself to start the end-game collapse if the gates are powered. If they refuse to finish the gens and proceed to BM you, that's considered holding the game hostage and is reportable.

Lol how is helping the killer to catch a teammate not working with the killer...
Do it a bunch of times see what happens
I was talking like one singular instance that someone does it. But idk. You may be right. I looked through the thread Not_Queen posted a while back and it didn't mention anything of the sorts. I'm trying to do some digging to see if I can see it in writing.

Pretty sure working with the killer is literally in the rules as a bannable offence mate.
Seen quite a few people get banned for it over the years
Yes, working together with the killer is bannable, but simply emoting to a locker to rat out a teammate in a single game can hardly be considered that. Can you find proof of a single instance where that has got someone banned? Again, not saying you should do it. That would be scummy.
-
Lets say for example another survivor points out to the killer the locker you are hiding in, it's not against the rules, although it is unsportsmanlike.
-
This is the most toxic gaming community I've ever been part of. Everybody hates each other and the game.

That is quite contradictory and hypocritical. "Also not gonna tell you how you should play" and yet you proceed to tell him how to play by deleting NOED from their perk roster. Before you even accuse me of not reading your full comment trust me I did and it still makes little sense as you contradict yourself in seconds.
Lmao must be a guilty NOED user. Come on! Don't even deny it.

You can change your privacy settings to only allow messages from friends, if that helps.
Yeah I know. I've had them disabled before, but I missed the good messages I used to get.
It's not JUST the messages though, it's the actions of the people in the games on both sides. Tunneling, camping, BMing, sand-bagging, leaving teammates to die, etc. Sure these things are within the rules of the game, but It's in bad taste.
-
I always give the hatch to the last survivor unless they struggle or BM'ed me during the match.

Can you just let em use Noed? And playing against 4 red ranks as a green, is not going to make you better.
Did you just skip over half of what I said? "not gonna tell you how you should play."
-
Good God some of you are so whiny, miserable and entitled. I come on here to try to give some solid advice and I get attacked like a pack of wolves.
They're working on a better ranking system right now, it will get better soon. Something tells me though you will find something new to complain about.
Go ahead, keep it coming.

I hate this stupid response.
It wouldn't be fun for a novice wrestler to be consistently put up against John Cena. Sure, one or two matches can be entertaining, but it gets old very quickly with how often it happens, especially on the weekends.
And FYI, not everyone wants to get to rank 1 and get better, some people just want to be able to pick up the game and casually play.
Yeah that's a fair point. I'm not saying that these rank disparities aren't a problem, they certainly are. I was just trying to give some kind of positive advice on how to look at things as they are now.
-
Playing against better players than you will force you to learn and improve. Trust me I've been there.
Also, not gonna tell you how you should play, but the sooner you drop NOED and learn to stop relying on it for kills, the faster you will get better.
-
1.) NEVER run back at her husk when you think she's phasing, she could be mind-gaming you.
2.) Have your team be as spread out as possible on larger maps (Like Red Forest.) This makes her ability for gen pressure a bit harder if she's not using a movement speed add on.
3.) Pay attention to her phasing cool-down. Sometimes you can tell if it's on cool-down if she approaches you in phase and then immediately tries to mind-game you.
4.) Try to strategically make her use her phase to catch up to you right before you reach a loop, that way you know she can't mind-game you for a while.
5.) Like Elena said above, Iron will makes it a lot harder for her to track you in phase.
6.) Use your own scratch marks to your advantage.
-
Look I'm a killer main, but I consider myself to be proficient at both sides. NOED is a super buzzkill at the end of a game. It is not fun AT ALL to go against and I don't blame anyone for wanting it nerfed. It increases the likely-hood of the killer getting at least 1-2 kills for playing poorly.
I know the argument of finding all 5 totems instead of rushing gens and I get that, fair enough. BUT, a few things make doing that either super un-fun or super annoying/tedious.
1.) Playing solo or with randoms prevents us as a team from knowing how many totems are left to cleanse during a match, and we can waste major time looking for things that are possibly not there.
2.) Finding NOED when end-game is already happening needs to be REALLY quick or you won't beat the sacrifice of your teammate on the hook. (Assuming the killer is proxy-camping, which he probably is because he's using NOED as a crutch.) This is further exaggerated when the teammate that is hooked is on struggle phase.
3.) Is extremely unforgiving towards newer survivors that are unaware how to handle it. They most-likely don't know where a lot of the totem spawns even are, making the cleansing of the totem either extremely lucky or borderline impossible. It can make you feel robbed of a win when you get so close to surviving and the killer gets rewarded for doing worse than you.
I'm not saying NOED needs to be nerfed to the ground, it just needs some tweaks. Also, just because I'm not mentioning some of the OP things survivors have, doesn't mean I don't know they exist. (DS+Unbreakable combo, getting DS'ed without tunneling... etc.)
-
Oni, Spirit and Wraith are my favorites!
-
I'm rank 10 and keep getting matched up with Rank 1-4s. Experience hasn't been very pleasant.
-
For me it's not so much the frames that are the issue, it's the controller deadzones that are too large. For those who don't know what that is, it's the amount you need to move the joystick for the game to register movement. This makes making slight adjustments to aim much harder. There are many games out there that have an adjustable slider in the menu to make this easier.
-
I guess I'm in the minority here. I've literally farmed and let the survivors escape in every match I've played as killer during this event. I have a good time, they have a good time. Not sure why more killers don't do it.
Edit: I play normally until they are all 2 hook, then I let them smack me with pallets.
