When will we see Jasons kill rates in normal 1v4?

I'm curious and I'm sure the community is too, to see how he is performing. Where are the kill rates from normal 1v4? :)

  • BHVR actively avoid releasing any interesting or useful data. Although I don’t like it, I understand why. It will likely result in endless debate and criticism from the community when people see what the numbers actually are for certain killers, maps, etc. Very rarely we will get the kill rates for a few top killers, which is about as interesting as it gets. Most of the time the only data they release are things like “number of blood points earned by player base” which literally nobody has been asking to know.

  • I know some people around here hate Nightlight but as a sample of around 12k matches in the last month Jason was both the most picked Killer at 24% and the most lethal at almost 55%. For comparison the next most popular Killers are Ghoul and Wesker at a little over 4% each and the next most lethal are Dracula and Henry aka Vecna 2: The First But Not Really with around 54% and 53% respectively (those two have way below average pickrates so that can be explained by their few dedicated players being pretty cracked).

Interesting, then I'd really like to see where the "official ones" are at, now people are figuring him out more especially, they revealed Tricksters rework stats, so I'd love to see Jasons.

  • I am really curious about nurse killrates in 1v4. I think especially after filtering out every player under 100 hours on nurse she has a crazy killrate!

I mean knowing that would be useless and wouldn't tell you anything but it would be nice to know!

I feel like they always try to gaslight us when it comes to her lmao so yes I agree some meaningful kill rates for the top killers would be nice.

  • We never will because DCs get tossed from the stats and he's had a lot of DCs. They're going to throw us some bs number like 65%. They'd never let a KR of 75% or something be known. That's too much ammo to give people.

Which is concerning because this is the 2nd time it's happened, Ghoul was the last time, where I asked this exact question.

I think DC's should be shown too lmao as its own stat, it wouldn't make sense to disregard a high DC rate against a specific problematic killer.

That should be telling if people find it frustrating or not. It's important information.

  • If the Devs Release the Kill Rate Stats for say the months of May through August, Jason, being the only released killer for that period, and thus the most played, will undoubtedly have inflated stats. We've seen this with Krasue, Ghoul, Spirit, hell even OG Freddy who was one of the worst to actually play, but still ended up with a High Kill Rate because the stats came out a month after his release.

Basically, Demanding the stats get released now will show you what you WANT to see: That he's the most lethal killer.

BUUUUT, that's not due to his actual kill rate, it's because he's currently being played way more than the other killers, which is throwing off the overall stats. If you want accurate stats, you'll have to wait until the devs release them roughly a year after Jason came out. People will be playing him less, some will have chosen to "main" him, others will have dropped him entirely or just play occasionally so they can go back to their favorites etc, the point is that Even if you saw his stats right now, they will be grossly inaccurate because of his current popularity. Don't Believe me? Here's the Killer "Kill Rate" stats they released for after Krasue and The First (ST Vecna) came out:

    image.png

Now, all things considered… Do you REALLY think Krasue is the No. 1 Killer in High MMR right now? Or even for the past 6 months? Do you see a lot of Krasue's Just dominating your matches right now? Hell, how about the Stranger Things Vecna? I bet you see more of them than the No. 1 Killer as of September 2025-February 2026, but I doubt they're as overbearingly lethal as this shows.

I hope you get my point.

Krasue was busted during this period. She was a free win killer. So the data is useful in that way, to show that an overtuned killer is at the top spot.

People know the counterplay now but Henry is still strong. I don't know if that's "overbearingly" lethal. My own KR with him is a little higher than that and I'm mid. A very good player would still thrash with him.

Popularity has nothing to do with higher stats tho. It's a KR average not a playrate. Nobody plays Twins and they're up there. Lots of people playing a killer should give you a better number anyway, because you get more data.

Not really because even the Nightlight stats suggest he is the most lethal killer, not to mention more players = more data… so it'd not be inflated at all, it'd be more accurate as you can see the casual and more experienced player kill rates even on an account basis if need be.

I don't really get what you're trying to say coz all of these killers were indeed strong at this time, Twins is that high due to her slugging synergy against casual players who dont run anti slug especially. "High MMR" might as well just be changed to people who play often, coz I swear the MMR barely works.

  • Whats the point in showing killreates that are already filtered, so they dont look so oppressive? There will never be stats released that you could interpret properly.

  • I mean we haven't even heard about a Midchapter yet, I'd be genuinely surprised if they said anything about the gameplay side of things.

I always want to be wrong since being pessimistic is boring but BHVR always finds a way to drop the ball, I genuinely think they believe gameplay isn't worth the attention/resources currently, there's no other explanation for how glacial and piecemeal their balance has been for the last two years.

My guess is they don't want to make any large changes with the new version on the way as it could cause a lot of confusion between the two teams.

So we'll probably get larger less frequent changes instead, at least, that would be the hope.

There are 43 Killers, and if HALF or even 25% of all kills reported in a month are the result of Players using 1 killer… That is obviously gonna throw off the stats!

Inversely, look at Twins on that Graphic. Literally one of the LOWEST picked killers, but She's up there, why? Because of 2 reasons:

    1. No one ever goes against her.
    2. The only ones playing her are dedicated to her and know how to win.

The hell of it is that if Twins was actually that good/broken, she'd be the most popular killer rn. Basically Twins is screwing up the metric in the Opposite way, instead of having too many samples of her use, they end up having too few, but because of her low pick rate survivors are largly inexperienced against her, and those few "Twins Mains" who still play her, are actually really good with her, so You end up with a High Kill score. So you tell me… By those stats, if we were to get the killer stats Next week, and Jason was just as good or better than these 10 month old stats showing Krasue at the top, but Twins remains in 3rd place… Does that mean we have to nerf BOTH? I would be willing to put MONEY down that Krasue is faring FAR worse these days in kill stats, and I bet Jason will be the same this time next year.

Asking for stats right now is Folly, pure and simple. Oh sure it will give you what you want to know, that Jason is absolutely KILLING IT right now, but that won't be accurate in the slightest to his actual threat level to the average survivor. For that, you've gotta wait a while.

  • they won’t because it’s probably over 70%

  • At the absolute earliest they might release some stats around Halloween but I think it is more than likely we won't see another stat drop in 2026, possibly not until mid-2027.

This is why we need a global stats tracker section on the official stats tracker, if even if its your escape rate/kill rate vs the world one

  • Kill rates would have more meaning if survivors wouldn't stop playing the moment they noticed a killer they don't like.

There are killers who give up when the going gets tough too by standing in the corner or opening up the exit gates, they still get counted unlike the dc's.

there are matches when people DC when they are about to be sacrificed which I imagine voids valid matches, unless they have something to differentiate those internally.

The funny thing with that is that I had a match yesterday where one survivor got hooked twice about halfway point of the match. He DC'd on the hook and the match ended on 1k and the bot was the first to escape after opening the door. So if the guy staid in the match he would have most likely escaped. People are so hasty of leaving when they think they are going to lose.

honestly the bot was probably a better teammate anyway.

  • Not really I was getting really good Artist crow hits through walls and I can understand why he might have got fed up. I also had another match where I was going to give a hatch to the last survivor as he went down quite close to it and it was good match. They abandoned before I could pick them up. Here is another good reason why the 10 second grace period before the abandon option comes available makes sense as currently only the patient ones get hatches now.

  • Bot behavior is kinda drastically different than human behavior against Jason. They dont try to crouchwalk to avoid being detected and instead just run around for unhooks or work on gens.

Ok thats odd as they have been crouching in all the custom matches I have been playing against them as Jason. They might not do it if they are already fixing a gen or healing but most of the time if you are in power they crouches on spot.

If you want to know why I play custom matches against bots its because I am testing bugs from the bug reports so can add logs to the reports there.

Sure, but a huge chunk of DCs are people doing so out of frustration when they're already losing, or if they're being hard tunneled. I see more of that the immediate random DCs in both my survivor and killer matches. The kill rates will always appear lower if those are removed because of how common DCs are and how often those are killer wins.

And yeah, being good against bots doesn't mean anything, but if someone DCs there are still 3 other people in the match who have to go against the killer.

  • Thanks for that.

I think I just yesterday the reason of the Chucky double hits that were quite common in the one 2v8 or similar one but only got them to happen when hitting walls after full sprint. Noticed that yesterday when testing another thing that I could not reproduce. Don't worry anyone the second hit can't hurt survivors as it only happens when facing a wall after full sprint. Reported it to the bug reports but its nothing major as you can't abuse it and it happens only in that situation.

I actually saved a clip of this to show a dumb cross map blind shot. The guy I hit was the bot, lol. Even if there's 3 human survivors left though, can we at least agree that the odds of winning are different than if there was 4 humans? This data doesnt help reflect how 4 human survivors would handle things. While sure, you have cases of ppl DCing while being carried to the hook... which is dumb, you also have a ton of ppl who DC after the first chase of the match.

Nightlite data is gonna be skewed for all sorts of reasons. Typically the devs divide the playerbase based off their MMR since high MMR is different than low MMR. Nightlite doesnt do that and just lumps everything together. That being said... Typically you dont have newbies or unskilled players reporting to Nightlite that they lose alot. The stats there should be taken with a gallon of salt.

For the second thing what were sm kill rates then where she had what around 70% kr so they will give you their stats (only top 5 from two categories for each side).
Other thing is time from which the stats are from like freddy where people went mad here that he had highest kr after his rework or krasue but forget fact that stats from krasue were both from time where she was op and used by lot of people and then nerfed and her pick rate dropped to one of least played killers which effects the stats a lot when the kr is % from that whole time period (probably diameter) but lot of people here just look at number and know all while facts like this go above their heads like always.

Thank god devs dont balance their game just by looking at % on their stats as they did n old times, maybe?

I meant 2025 sedond rework freddy.

The og freddy or released pig were heavily nerfed due to devs just adjusting game ballance by looking at one number and deciding from there which we know today was bad decision or bubbas saw speed was nerfed after his release but he was total zero compare to todays state or when his charge rework happen.

Just one of many mistakes dev team made.

I'm well aware that bots are easy to beat. Them being an autowin for killers is part of the problem. If DCs are tossed matches I don't see why the matches should even continue. It currently feels like it's counting when I'm trapped in a match that's impossible to win. They still show up on your personal stats too, so the two sets of numbers with always clash.

The numbers are simply always going to be incomplete with the little slivers of adjusted data (or just downright incorrect, considering the inflated survivor personal stats) we get.

Kinda off topic abit but... the anniversary might be skewing the numbers. Im not sure how many other ppl do it, but I made it a habit to 2 hook everyone who brought BP offerings which resulted in TONS of 4 man escapes and my killrate on Jason being horrid. Considering there wasn't much time BEFORE the event to play him, I think my average killrate on him went down to like 30%. Thats not the kinda numbers the devs would wanna show.

This is why we need a global stats tracker section on the official stats tracker, if even if its your escape rate/kill rate vs the world one

I agree with you. I'd love to see more stats and live stats would be amazing. I'd love to see figures for what percentage of players are solo, duo, trio and full quads.

But considering how stingy BHVR has historically been with stats I am confident we'll never get a stats tracker.

I think you're in an extreme enough minority there. For everyone playing nice there's 100 people slugging for the 4k. A bunch of nice Jasons definitely aren't what made my survivor play rate plummet over the last month. I think they more likely wouldn't want to show an 70%+ KR, if anything.

For me, it got to the point where I actually got to be a dweet's first dbd match, lol. Kinda wished I took a screenshot of my Jason kill percentage before I took the kid gloves off.

Can you even drop a single killers MMR low enough to get babies if you have a steady base KR orherwise? Every time I try a new-to-me killer it's a sweatfest of experts while I have no idea how to use the character.

I get these occasionally too though I think they must be backfill or something. I had one not too long ago with 40 hours. Even messaged them to confirm. I had a Laurie recently with one green default perk and they played like it too. Then, in the same night, a survivor with 8k hours. The matchmaking is inexplicable.

I was getting ATON of low MMR teams, which kinda works out cuz I was aiming to 2 hook everyone without being too obvious that I was aiming to let em all live. After I got my hooks, id hit a gen afew times and be done with it. As for the dweet... he had 1 tier 1 perk on. I chatted with the survivors after and they verified it was his first match.

I get under 100 hour players quite often main reason why is because they are queuing with some higher level one or its one of those backfill lobbies. Still I am not usually going to take that match seriously if its total newbies and not some 1000h player with new account.
