oh and for addons: Talisman and Wabaki are her best combo.
Spirit and Freddy are both good, with Freddy you can use something like:
BBQ, Pop, Sloppy and Thrilling tremors
If you get a swf you can use forever Freddy
It's such a minor change. If you can't adapt to this small change then you're probably just bad at Billy in general. It's the dbd community in a nutshell tho, they change one small little thing and people make a huge deal out of it for absolutely no reason.
Nurses and sloppy are good on Spirit. I used it before it was meta, now every Spirit runs it and quite honestly its awful to play against lol
I dont play her that much but usually my build would be something like Nurses, Sloppy, Discordance, Corrupt. I’d swap discordance for BBQ if I wanted bloodpoints, and maybe seap sloppy or corrupt depending on the survivors. 4 items and I may have brought franklins etc
Its not a "minor change"
I could "adapt" but billy isnt fun to play now so why should i keep playing him?
I only play on console and i love him i do really well
I would not main any killer if i was you. We all know what happens when people get good with a killer ;)
/Freddy.exe +
I recommend Deathslinger or Legion, but if you're looking to win id 100% recommend stridor spirit despite anyone saying it requires no skill (which it does take skill).
You don't ever need Enduring on Spirit. Even if you get stunned you catch up fast enough with your power. Monitor is also lackluster on her.
For a sweaty build, try BBQ, Pop, Stridor and either Nurse's or Sloppy.
For a not sweaty build, I like to use BBQ, Surge (or Corrupt), Agitation and some other perk. I usually use Fire Up (mostly because I don't play Spirit much so this is one of my only other level 3 perks, but also I like to meme).
Hope this helps!
I’ll be honest, I do like monitor on spirit, but it encourages a slightly different play style.
it basically gives you an easier first hit since you can get close initially before chase begins. Don’t phase for the first hit, just walk up. This is more difficult if a survivor is in a strong position. Pallet/window close. You can usually get a pallet drop and build that dead zone at least. (This is a little less needed for her as it’s not a straight up chase)
after first hit, phase quickly and let the sound give you the down.
goes great with nurses and sloppy combo.
I've noticed that you play on console, you can play Oni, in fact I feel like Oni is easier to use with a controller than M&K.
But if you feel like using Spirit you can use common builds for her, like sloppy, nurse's calling, stbfl, pop, devour hope.
Stridor is great but the only issue that I can tell is that you will hear survivors closer than they are, but I think a good pair of headphones is the best way to play her.
Ah a man of culture I see
no pop on freddy? why whispers? new tinkerer is gonna be godlike on him.
Join the darkside and come be a legion main. Quickest way to snuff out any survivor fun. Keep them injured, then like otz says, theyre always one mistake away from being on the hook
Dont listen to these guys telling you to use stridor. Its a waste. From what ive seen personally is iron will is falling off in popularity but even with them using it, you dont need it. Footsteps my friend and good prediction will make stridor useless in no time. Also you can just run stronger perks. Ive been having a lot of fun with surge lately. Its in all my builds
when you wanna cry and moan but also want everyone to hear it,you
What?
I don't think anyone but them knows.
you created a post for attention because you we're salty billy got nerfed
How does asking for killer/perk recommendations = seeking attention?
If i wanted attention I'd make a thread about noed
what so funny? they murdered billy.
take sloppy, corrupt, pop up, and stridor or noed. also pick the quick phase charge and red speed addon, only the best teams will be able to handle u. and still they might lose. just master this and get good headset. u can also replace pop with ruin if u want, but thats ur choice, u can play with other perks as well if u want. gl.
main spirit, nurse if you truly want to dominate, but it will take time to master those. especially the nurse.
she will be nerfed trust me, maybe 3 hatchets basekit and no more iri head plus garbage addons no exaust addons and cooldown on hatchet throws hahaha
Yeah, I wish pallets were basekit. I have way more fun w them.
Nah, I'll stick w pgtw, discordance, BBQ, and sloppy. It's a very nassssty combo. Swapping BBQ and sloppy for nemesis and pwyf is funny as ######### though when you get 4 stacks and there all in the dream world. You get sonic the night mare.
Ignore them, they are biased as hell. (the person you replied to).
Killers I recommend (my mains). Oni, because he is a more fun Billy and he has a satisfying learning curve.
Wraith, because he is easy to play and his add-ons are a lot of fun.
Doctor, because if you hate loops and holding the game hostage like me, he is your best friend.
Hag, because she takes a lot of skill to play, and you will dominate when you master her.
If you're not having fun then drop him yeah. And it is a minor change
Cool story dude, not buyin it.
Honestly engravings still exist but they are gone due to overheat. Most addons are garbage, yep yep minor tweak. Also the playstyle that is being encouraged is boring af.
He mostly plays the same. The only thing they did that's a "big change" is not letting him rev forever anymore. It's not that severe, you're just overreacting.
Cool story dude, not buyin it.
Oni is going to be a great substitute for Billy (until he gets killed too eventually) his power is very similar in execution and i think you will feel quite at home.
I would Oni if you're looking for the closest thing to billy.
I would also give nurse a try. I agree she's a little frustrating to play post-nerf but she's still top tier. Just have to put some hours getting good with her.
No I am not, engravings are useless with this.
Billy is fine Kappa
Ok now you've lost me? Guess you quoted me by mistake as your reply has nothing to do with my post lol.
Play Oni, a similar and more fun killer.
Before I quit playing the game, I had two main spirit builds, a casual, and one tryhard build (Tryhard build was reserved for 3 and 4 man SWFs, and this was during the Ruin nerf era)
Casual Build: BBQ and Chili, Pop Goes the Weasel, STBFL, and Perk of any choice, with either yellow or green add ons.
Tryhard Build (Again was reserved for 3-4 Man SWF): Pop, Stridor, Hex: Ruin, and Surveillance , with Mother-Daughter ring and Yakuyoke Amulet add ons.
Other than that I can't really help since I quit the game for awhile now (5 months so far), but just a fair warning, if you do use the tryhard build against SWF, do expect to get a ton of salt and whiners (even thou most SWF run second chance perks).
