Discussions about the Entity's realm
  • Mine is that Yui is just Johnny Bravo but female and Japanese. I will ignore any lore that BHVR puts out to the contrary.

  • This is realistically one of the most unimportant things for DBD, but I love the concept, so there is something I’ve been wondering. Besides that, this is going to be a long explanation for something this insignificant, so if this seems boring to you, then feel free to just ignore it, I don’t want to waste your time. We’ve known since the PTB of 5.1.0 that Legendary Skins that weren’t licensed

  • Imaging Amanda playing rules set for every survivor. I wonder how this will look like. Here is my idea on one : Hello Laurie I want to play a game. You have proven to be an experienced survivor. However that have cost you your humanity and morals. Countless times you have injured people around so it's time you face the consequences of your action. In order to escape this contraption you have

  • So I was thinking you look at someone like Dwight and his lore it's short but still tells what happened now look at someone like I don't know Felix his lore is long. I don't know which character started the long lore but well I just saying maybe they could dial back on the lore not being short bur not being long basically explain like this 1. Who are they (Something like Dwight working a dead en

  • Google takes a different turn now in understanding more about the Entity's realm and those within it, as it focuses on the first of the Paragraphs: Bill Overbeck. In this new translation, we discover a unique mission, and at what cost a sacrifice is worth: It took two days for the nose to cool in the peppermint wind, a Karen full of beans and an honourable death in Valhalla to get William "Bill"

  • IT: Exists. The Dark Tower: Related to IT's universe. Dead by Daylight: Observer held in tower. Is it time to just say ######### it and throw IT into the game cause towers? 🤣

  • Look someone had to say it: Calling the Entity the Hole in Elodie's backstory? Dumb. Memory Loss after trials? Contradicts previous lore, actual gameplay and is dumb cause it strangles any story you might want to do in future with all these characters you've got trademarked. Making Philip into the Punisher of DBD? Dumb, but luckily it's comic book dumb so it's kind of okay. We need more of the la

  • I got this question… Should I buy the Resident Evil Chapter? I just like Resident Evil and I watched some YouTube videos and the perks in actions looks so interesting. I still don’t have the game on Switch and willing if you guys actually think of this. Should I buy it with the Silent Hill Edition? (Sorry if it’s on the Lore Section).

  • I mean in the real world it a hundred percent IS a renewable resource. I think the Entity is just so inhuman it literally does not know how humans work and thus has been wasting resources this whole time. Wouldn't that be funny? No, actually, it would be tragic given all the people who got voided thanks to the Entity just being too inhuman to understand the economic benefits of RnR. But on the br

  • I like the idea that Michael doesn't care about the Entity. You know, why should he sacrifice people if he can just kill them? When I play Myers I don't care about sacrificing, there is only one goal: kill them all with my own hands. And save my little sister :3

  • Reading into their lore entries again... It makes me sad there's the implication that Bayshore and the warden perhaps survived after all while all of Caleb's posse died. Because if the 'mad mick massacre' IS a reference to when caleb stormed the prison, it means it got watered down instead of made weirder. such stories only get watered down when the wrong guys get to write history.

  • We all know the lore of Survivors reuniting with one another again and again by the campfire after their attempts at escape. But what does the lore say about Killers? I can't even speculate because I genuinely don't know if this has been addressed or not. Do the Killers have a neutral ground where they go between rounds? Can you imagine how strange that would be? For the Survivors it is proba

  • I'm just saying this for a bit of fun, but I would be interested in a DBD chapter that is licensed and NOT from a horror themed genre, so not a horror film or horror game or whatever. but has a certain character that would fit perfectly as a killer for DBD, it can also add a survivor character who wouldn't seem to have experience in a horror setting, but would be overall terrified of their situat

  • Now that the lore of Nemesis has just been released, is it possible that the Entity is manipulating Nemesis into thinking it’s his commander, just like how Plague seeing it as one of her gods? Let me know what you think?

  • Please stop making MONSTERS to the game of KILLERS and MANIACS. Why MONSTERs need to hook humans? It's nonsense ! It's ridiculous ! Monsters must want to tear up and eat !

  • I feel like there's a major inconsistency in the lore with how some killers just don't really have a reason to kill the survivors. like legion only killed that one guy because they essentially had to or else they'd get caught vandalizing that store, they wouldn't have a reason to start going out and killing random people. or take wraith as another example. he killed that guy because he had murder

  • Some killers, like Spirit and Deathslinger, have very clear motivations and emotional “niches.” Spirit is the embodiment at rage of being wronged, Deathslinger is the embodiment of vengeance-seeking vigilante justice. Nurse is the embodiment of absolutely losing it when you have too much work to do, and plague is the embodiment of excessive devotion (Aka self-righteousness, blind idolatry). Oni i

  • What does everyone think about The Thing being added to DBD as a killer? I think it would super cool, unique, and a smart decision for the game. I hear there is a new The Thing movie in production and I think this would help promote that movie or keep every up to date for those that aren’t familiar with it, The Thing would be a great addition, in the 2011 movie The Thing is able to split itself i

  • if you look at the skin test subject 1 that's clearly not the doctor and it says it's a device allowing him to mind control people. So that's a victim mind controlled by the doctor. So the entity is allowing killers to bring their own victims into the world?

  • Things start to get macabre with this 3rd chapter, but there is depth beneath the wounds as Google sees it. In this chapter, what strange habits did Ace develop to survive school? How badly messed up is Lisa's anatomy? And where does drinking water take you? Let's see what Google shows us: Ace Attorney Ace Attorney is one charming man. • We know survivors can become killers, her entry mentions her embracing the darkness within herself. The Spirits obsession based perk seems to imply she dragged her father into the trials as revenge. Inspite of his egotism The Trickster does not seem like he would truly be happy with the "indie fan base" he has in the Entities realm. Given he's used to having the attention of so many more and atte

  • Bear with me here; We all know the entity and the trials and the like, but I've had a thought; what if there is some, for lack of a better word, larger entity? We knew already that the fog does not follow the entity's rules to the letter, and indeed both survivors and killers can manipulate it, whether reading the memories stored within (the observer), alter the very fabric of (the entity's) re

  • Google helps us understand the expanding nature of the Dead By Daylight universe. In this first expansion, Google tells us what we already know, but how did Nea become this? And how did Sally get 1 billion views working at Sainsburys? Let's delve into these questions in more detail.. Nea Karlsson. Nea is the Entity, a long protruding tooth, and a bit of a fixer-upper. • Now that Nemesis is out I honestly think he takes the cake for being the strongest killer if they were as strong as their original source material counterparts. Freddy seems like he could be really strong but his movies seem kind of ambiguous with how his power actually works. So who do you think would be the strongest killer or who would beat every other killer in a fight?

  • Imagine you can put any famous character from pop culture as it was possible on this game. I can see the Disney Snow White as survivor shes so pure for the entity.. and as killer, meh, maybe the countessa - Lady Gaga - from american horror story.

  • The Shape is based of the incarnation of the killer from the 1978 Halloween Slasher. Now, this is a completely different timeline from how the original movies played out. The Original Timeline: Michael Myers is shot by Dr. Loomis and falls off the balcony. Myers somehow lives and escapes without being seen or heard. Dead By Daylight Timeline: Michael Myers is shot by Dr. Loomis and falls off th

Jills plan to expose Umbrella was ruined by the entity. • In this second dlc, 2 well-known people join the trials. But, do we really know them? According to Google, we really don't. So, what does Laurie spend her time doing in the afternoons? And just how important is it that hot Michael Myers gets to Coventry? Let's find out: Laurie Strode: You never know what someone is going through in and out of Basildon until you've known the love of God. La

  • As of this day, there are 17 original survivors in the game. I'm a bit of a nut for lore and character design, so I thought I'd make a tier list of how good each character's design is (how well their look flows together, how good their color palette, how well their appearance reflects their lore, etc.). Licensed characters are not included because BHVR didn't design them. The tier list ranges fr

  • It's really weird when you read a story of some character and then Archives just showing this one in other way, like Yui have really nice story, just she loves do what she want, but she had good connection with grandma and then in Archives you see her like a woman who is really focused on win. That's kinda two personalities in one person. Same with Dwight - story: scared guy, who just want to b

  • I always thought the killer wreaths were kind of neat; where the survivor bloodpoint offerings focus on flowers and plants, and have a mainly symbolic connection to the categories they boost, the killer bloodpoint offerings are themed after birds. And for three of them, I can see a clear correlation. Hunter: Spotted Owl. Owls are known for being phenomenal hunters, with natural stealth and ex

  • So, Google shined a light on the hidden darkness of the survivors, but has the Entity blocked the true lore of the base killers? No, because Google is all-knowing! In this post, there are more important discoveries: How is the Trapper's diet? What was Philip Ojomo doing in Birmingham? And has the reason for Alan Partridge's attitude been found? Let's find out. The Trapper Evan MacMillan

  • The lore is always an interesting facet, but Google knows more than we do, and has delved deeper into the archives, which has disclosed some interesting information, hidden even from the Entity itself! So, was Dwight really a loser, and his boss sharing a bit too much? Was Meg's altruism slightly eskewed? Where did Claudette get her protein from? And finally, have we identified the wrong Jake? L

  • The entity has taken killers from many different time periods (either it has been doing so for centuries or it is not bound by the same laws of time) yet all the survivors appear to be from recent times. Why is this? Can't we get an old tavern wench survivor or like an old japanese Geisha to compliment Oni? I'd love to see one of them pull off a flashlight save.

  • The ultra rare charm at the end of Tome VII is a blood moon. Anyone who has played Dead Space knows how important the blood moon is. Could this maybe be a hint at yet another video game crossover? This time with Dead Space?

  • As many of you remember, 2 - 3 years ago we were introduced to Talbot Grimes, AKA The Blight. This came through the Hallowed Blight, but we never got a great look at him. When we did see him, it was usually a shadowed silhouette, or a glimpse of a portion of his outfit. That somewhat changed in the withering blight. Where we got a more full body look at Talbot. Where we saw he dressed in a hood
