In my opinion Billy is not worth playing if you want to get to the highest mmr possible (lol, why someone would ever want smth like this) and destroy people. Right now he is a "I want to have fun with double engravings and get those fancy curves", that's all. He's difficult to play for the newbies and a bit exhausting to play for good players and people who main no one but him. You have to keep in your mind many factors to use your ability properly (what tiles you can curve, the timing of when you should rev the chainsaw at a tile to get a kill, when to release the chainsaw and not to miss the hit, know how the objects on the map have spawned to traverse the map without bumping into every object, when you SHOULDN'T use the chainsaw and go for an m1 hit, etc.). He's just complicated and requires lot's of skill to play well, so why would you play him if you can play other killers and do killer's job easier and even better? That's not about his rework or his addons, it's about him. I still play him but only when I'm tired of other killers and I want more complicated and interesting gameplay. He's good, and that's is all I can say about him right now.

Lol, imagine playing other killers when there is Hag in the game 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
-
Lisa and Billy. Billy is one of those killers in the game, who's got a variety of outfits with which you can make every Billy unique, and I like his story.
Hag is the cutest, no discussion.

Saloon. I hate this map, dark, stupid main building that you should ignore. Have I already told ya that this map is very dark?
-
I thought you meant that some of them do stupid things in the game. For example, yesterday I played against Michael, the game was lost, I could do nothing. I found a broken key in the basement and went right to Michael's hands just to give him the key. He killed me.

Ahh now this featured many sexy curves! I love it dude. Pre nerf Billy makin me feel all nostalgic. Before this though his animations looked so much less clunky. Damn I miss his old animations.
There is no difference between pre-nerf Billy and actual one for me. Even with double engravings he's still valuable and he's fun to play still.

Ayy nice. Cool to see curve Billy in 2021. There were some nice curves here major props. I can tell you still have some trouble with the timings sometimes though. It's really tough. You gotta know when to pop the chainsaw and how much to curve along with knowing the hitbox of the item you're curving around. Oh and add a bit of being able to predict what survivors will do at loops. It's really hard and super skill demanding.
I've actually been trying to learn how to curve with Billy myself and while I'm still learning, I was able to get this one nice little curve about a week ago
I was so proud of myself.
But yea sick dude nice gameplay👌
nice curve, king
here is another one Billy vid, but it is a compilation

2 words. GRAB CANCEL

Michael doesn't think so.

I still play Billy but only with double engravings. Can't play the other way because it's boring. Yeah, the chainsaw overheats very fast but it is still valuable. The only problem with double engravings - you've got only 2 attepmts for a curve. But I've got used to that, somehow.
-
" ScorpionZ can play her really well, so why should we make a change?*
-
Strange. When I play against Twins most of them don't have such problems. Victor is much faster than the survivors, you just come close to them and jump. Most of Twins players hit with Charlotte, then knock down with Victor. And after that the most annoying thing happens: they hook you, stand by the hook and use Victor to get more pressure.

It counts, mechanically, as a hook stage, but it doesn't count as a hook, not even mechanically. Borrowed Time, DS, Devour Hope, etc, none of that works.
so, if they die caged, the Entity doesn't get them?
-
Yes, I want 4k. Do you want to talk about that?
-
Skaven Plague Monk from Warhammer FB.
-
I know, many people don't like True, and in this video he didn't do much, but lets be honest, Wraith doesn't have a chance against this kind of swf. He can do that only if they throw the game.
-
1.78 $, hehehehe
-
I see Ormond or farm as offerings - I know that someone has a small PP. I would just delete them from the game. Both map offerings & Morri
-
The great bear is watching you.
-
The only problem for me is double engravings are slower than before, I mean, they are trash. So, jungle gym flicks are impossible now, you are just so slow. You won't get a survivor if you try to do that. At short tiles like cars on Azarov - yeah, but jungle gyms - meh, just play a mediocre Billy, it's better now.
And again, they were crying that you didn't need skill to play him, so now after this change you should have good skill to play him (ahahaha). Yeah, flicks at most of the tiles are barely possible now, so the feature that required skill was deleted. He's just a backrev Billy now, the thing that is concidered to be noobish.

too many people were using auras to give them an unfair advantage over newer players. The devs have remedied this by making auras near invisible as to give newer players more of a chance of hiding from the killer.
Are you serious?

Nice b8 m8 I r8 8/8 :)

Every time I made successful curves with Billy, people mentioned that in the end game chat.
Oh, and once I played Trapper and got them all in 3 mins, because one of them threw the game. That guy said that I was trash (don't know why, I just cought them with my traps) but his teammates told him that he was wrong and I played well.

@brokedownpalace decisive should only counter tunnelers. Randomly getting out of trouble is way to strong.
@Chloan well if the survivor touches to a generator or something, then it stops. And if the timer does not stop, tunnelers like you would have an easier time tunneling: if the survivor gets downed after the timer expired, which it will quickly do, then you tunneled but decisive did not do the anti-tunneling job.
Why do you think I am a tunneler?
-
Did I get your words right? One of the ideas is to change DS so that during the chase the timer stops?
I heard something like this from Scott Jund and I absolutely disagree. Making the DS timer stop in a chase or when the surv is on the floor will only push players to abuse this perk. They will simply run around the killer and be completely invulnerable.
-
13) DS when an unhooked survivor messes around you just because he has that 60 secs invincibility

Warhammer FB. Skavens, anthropomorphic rats. Just check it out.

Mass Effect trilogy, MGS V: TPP, Layers of fear 2, Dark Souls series (mostly PVP, but I think I can call them SP games).
-
I think they should make her ambush charging faster. Many people rely on her traps, but as for me her ambush is her main ability: you can get hits nearly at every standart pallet tile.
-
I finished the video. I'll continue to play Billy even with double engravings after the change, I'll try at least. We shouldn't abandon this guy, we can't do that.

Sorry guys, nothing personal, but in my opinion DS, unbreakable and even dead hard are just crutch perks, they are not op, but they are still crutch perks. Non experienced players use them for second chance, good players use them just to do a perfect play or to abuse them. But really good players don't use them and still escape.
I'm not that good at surv gameplay but I don't use them now. And when at red ranks you get a good killer and outplay them without these perks, wow, that feels good.
So the same about NOED. If you play with NOED every game, you must be a big troll or just a bad killer. That's all.
PS: don't use perks at all, show your real skill.

Well, she does require more skill than Freddy that's for sure. And I would say that without stridor, she requires quite a bit of skill in prediction (and otherwise too), especially against iron will users.
I can't play her with stridor, it just confuses me when I chase someone, especially when they don't use iron will.

Like what's the point of different killers if they're all going to have the same cycle of use power -> wait for CD -> use power? At that rate just make a customizable killer. Then at least we're not so bored with it.
You know, it is difficult for survivors to play the game, they need an assistance, did you hear Clicky? Billy is a killing machine, just use BBQ and infectious fright + (instasaw (which is op, I agree)) and you get 10k+ every game!
Serious, they were crying about him being able to travel the map and put pressure on survivors and back revving being "noobish" so Billy became... wait wait wait, are you ready for that? Ehehehe. So his power now is only good for... oh my god, for that "noobish" back revving. Oh, my god. What a skill based killer we've got here. I can't stop laugh(cry)ing. Well done, BHVR, just well done!

"blindly holding m2" "spamming your power"
These arguments have no substance. Look at any previous response to see why.
And how is being reverted to the basic shell of every killer making you require more thought or skill? It literally caps your abilities to an m1 killer and every aspect of your power and the skill it takes to use doesn't even matter. Again, how is that remotely skillful? At least more than just picking Trapper and not using any traps.
Imagine complaining about killer using his power to kill survivors. Yeah, we are already here. (I'm about the guy you've responded to)

F man, now you can settle down on your little farm, drink some whiskey and look after your geese.
-
If it takes 40% for destroying a pallet, so flick Billy is retired.

After this feedback I know that I should play Legion more.

Hopefully they don't change the engravings, that is all I'm worrying about.

Yeah, I also noticed how fast the chainsaw overheats when holding the revs.
I don't see flick Billys in the game at all, and after this I don't think I will ever see them. I'll try him on PTB. Hopefully, that won't hurt that play-style.

The update post said that none of his turning abilities were changed.
You didn't get it. I mean, when you hold the charge at a tile, going from one side to another to put a surv in position when you can do a 90 or 180 curve to get him.

You didn't get it. I mean the charge. At some tiles to make a curve you have to hold charge, while you are going from one side to another just to put him in a position where you can make a 90 or 180 curve and get him. I meant that.
Maybe we'll get used to it, I don't know. I don't see flick Billy in the game at all, they always just go straight to you to get that instachainsaw, but it's is very cool to see when Billy uses only m2 to get you at jungle gym, especially when he gets you with that flick.
-
I don't care about map pressure, I wonder how this will affect his curves. I started to play Billy 2 weeks ago, learned how to curve, his flicks. I got used to his chainsaw (thanks to SYN vids), and now I see this patch note.
