I play dead by Daylight through steam on Linux. Everything works smoothly up until recently. It could have been the steam update, but no other games I have tested have had the same issue, and DBD's update was around the same time. PC In a match as the Hillbilly on Ironworks of Misery today I encountered an issue with chase detection. Throughout the entire game I did not start a single chase. I ran after the survivors and got hits but the chase never actually started. This happened again in the game after that as the Cannibal on Lery's Memorial Institute. It has happened a few times now that I was shown with a globe next to my name to a friend who is on the same platform as me while another friend (who is playing on the Switch) had no globe next to my name on her end. This caused me to be unable to invite friends or friends joining my group (they get an "unexpected error"). This feature will not work when using the keybind configuration of RALT mapped to the secondary killer action. I do not use the default of CTRL as I am used to RALT. Because of this I have not been able to play this killer.0 comments 12 views last activity

I faced a stealth Billy today (Tinkerer, Plaything, Trail of Torment, and Apex Muffler addon) and for some reason, the chase would never start. Even if the Billy chases me without using his chainsaw, the chase music wouldn't play for either the killer or survivors, the UI didn't show a chase, the killer didn't gain bloodlust, and vaults were infinite. Do voice lines not work anymore? I'm on PS5 and I used to hear Ash's voice lines in the lobby. I don't anymore. I have not heard any voice lines from anyone besides Cenobite and Wesker since before the first RE chapter came out. Had no idea other survivors even had voicelines. While playing as Jill i noticed the killer had ranchor. Killer had it rough so i decided to let him down me so he could get atleast 1 kill. I was already exposed by ranchor since the gens were done, but did NOT get insta downed by his melee attack..? During the game, I was randomly disconnected from the server and thrown into the summary screen. This revealed the killer's perks even though the game is still ongoing. I know that the perk received nerfs, but it should be alerting when the killer is within the specified distance, sometimes I see the killer and even hear the terror ray, but the perk remained disabled, the idea I had of simulating a terror ray was good, they should have kept it, regardless of having the new heart system or not I'd like to make a suggestion for future tweaks to this perk: - The1 comments 21 views last activity

Step 1- load game step 2- see that characters are missing. This is my girlfriend's PS5 and yesterday everything was fine. She logs in about 10 minutes ago and notices almost half of her characters she has are missing. She's paid for some of these while some are perhaps account shared because I've used her PS5 before. Ghostface still seems to be bugged and still can be seen by the survivors before he can even see them while lean stalking, when this was not the case before Nic Cage release. His camera still moves backward when leanstalking, forcing him to move outward and be more visible; his camera should move forward slightly instead. I play on the Xbox Series S. I've been having this bug for a while where I literally cannot lobby with friends. If I try to join their lobby, they see me join and leave on their end and on my end I go nowhere and eventually get an error message. If someone sends an invite I literally don't see it. PC When you throw a bottle, if you swap bottle types before the thrown bottle breaks open, its bottle type changes. This forces clown to wait until a thrown bottle breaks open before being allowed to swap to a different type.
