Are you sure you didn't buy the 1 shard Adam cosmetic available during April Fools'?
-
Can confirm it's indeed not possible to vast vault this.

As the title suggests, it is between those two perks. If trail of torment is placed on a generator that is highlighted by deja vu, you do not see the yellow aura that is suppose to go on the generator. You only see the red aura still. Is this intended to do that or is that a bug? Just curious! Thank you.
Exactly this, it makes Deja Vu near unusable in soloq when Trail of Torment is active, you can't even tell that the perk has been used, and you have no idea which gen is affected...
-
Has this been fixed recently? The last 3 times I tried it, it failed.
-
There is a reddit thread about it: https://www.reddit.com/r/deadbydaylight/comments/17kxw6z/tome_16_third_page_challenge_in_extremis_bugged/

Blocked gens have always been able to regress with perks such as Pain Res but they do not regress with passive regression - killers can't kick them, Hex Ruin doesn't work on them. It's the instant regression that works, that's by design and has always supposed to work in that way.
Strange, this was labelled as a bug and fixed in 7.3.0!

The https://nightlight.gg/maps website ranks it as *the* most deadly map.
-
- The upper-middle of the map (Nostromo itself and the sides) barely has anything, and can very quickly become a giant dead zone.
- It's extremely easy to 3-gen the map, due to the aforementioned dead zones.
- There is no strong loops, and no real god pallet beyond what the rng gives you at the jungle gyms.
- There is no shack to speak of, the little shuttle in the corner has no windows & is generally pointless if no gen spawns near it.
- Relatively small sized map (134 sqT), with lot of dead space in the upper half and around the shuttle.
Yes, it is a very killer sided map. I would go so far as to say it is among the top 3 killer sided maps.
-
Also they constantly offer heals instead of doing gens.
All of this is extremely frustrating when you are trying to complete a 95% gen before the killer comes back, and the bot does nothing but spam crouch.
-
What were your perks? I had a similar experience as reported here: https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/388618/stealth-billy-doesnt-start-chases#latest
-
Is the whole challenge bugged? Or is it only the description that is wrong?
-
Not specific to Adam, it happens to other bots as well.
-
This bug has been going on for years, and unfortunately BHVR doesn't seem to be able to fix it.

Unless you are hearing impaired in some way, you can hear the snarling from so far away that the stealth basically is only useful for that first chase before everyone knows you are wraith.
Bruh if you are repairing a gen in a dead zone and you hear the wraith, you are screwed.
-
Here is a recent video of a casual Wraith main destroying a competitive "pro" SWF:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xVffK6eNhC4His strategy was the one I recommended: basically an early 3-gen, with Jolt + Eruption + Call of Brine to control & regress them. Really long and boring playstyle, but eventually the map was cleared of pallets and the Wraith won.
-
I typically have to DC or kill myself on hook and restart the game 1-2 times a day because of this bug, it would be great to have it fixed :)
-
Issue seems fixed as of 7.0.1 :) .

I'm not sure why you are commenting on a thread from over a month ago (Mods problem) but no one cares about what Scott does with Wraith. Someone who plays the game for a living could never represent the player base as a whole. ANY killer can be played at a high level in the right hands. Does not mean the killer is not weaker than most. I have fantastic results with Trapper. You don't see me claiming he is strong as it would sound ridiculous.
Are you trolling?
I was specifically responding to DBDVulture. He's the one who said that the proof that Wraith sucks is that DBD professional streamers don't like him. Here I pointed out that a very well known streamer (Scott Jund) has a great opinion of Wraith, which contradicts his argument.

I've noticed something about the DBD community, they are very single minded when it comes to "winning" and "strenght". All the time they compare every killer to "nurse or blight" because those killers can win, quickly and effectively.
Have you ever considered that Wraith can be as effective at winning as a nurse or blight but the only difference is, his playstyle does not allow him to do it quickly?
When i win, it's almost always during final gen, but that's because I'm purposefully setting up the entire map to my design. I'm meticulously remove all good pallet and all good loops and trying to move people towards 3 gen. Even if they don't by the time they get to that point in the game, my build is at its absolute strongest. No pallets, max stacks of STBFL, it's when I go in for the kills.
Like not everything in this game can be compared to two killers with a single quick and aggressive playstyle. Other killers have other ways of being played that are just as effective, it doesn't mean it isn't strong if it isn't the "same".
With Wraith, the usual strategy of commiting to chase / tunneling really doesn't work well. Wraith's antiloop is rather weak (it's good at very short or very long loops and that's it), so trying to tunnel a survivor as they loop around the map feels awful. I think that's why a lot of people discredit Wraith, if you try to tunnel with him you'll be miserable.
In my experience, with Wraith you really want to 3-gen or 4-gen. Because Wraith is so fast (double speed when cloaked), the gens don't have to be right next to each other. It's far more important that each individual gen be far from a reusable window, and have poor visibility (so the survivors can't pre-run). If you keep going back to the same 3-4 gens, and the survivors have to throw a pallet each time to prevent a hit, it won't be long before the gens are in a giant deadzone.
The main problem with Wraith is that good SWFs will eat you alive. They'll tell each other your location, so even with poor visibility they will pre-run. They will organize quick and effective heals, so they can jump back on the gens soon after being injured. And if you ever commit to a down, they'll 3-man one of your protected gen with Prove Thyself and get it completed before you can come back.

-"Have you ever considered that Wraith can be as effective at winning as a nurse or blight but the only difference is, his playstyle does not allow him to do it quickly?"
Have you considered that you're wrong? Watch the streamers who play this game professionally as their job. Two immediately come to mind who have between them almost 20,000 hours of experience. Against someone who is an incredibly good looper you cannot get certain players at certain tiles. It's really that simple. If they can't do it "quickly or easily" then you probably can't either unless you are some 2,000 hour secret wraith champion.
But let's be brutally honest as well : The best wraith in the world is going to lose in a tournament against just mediocre Blight or Nurse players. The best nurse/blight players in the world could probably go afk for 20 seconds and end the game better than the wraith.
-"I'm meticulously remove all good pallet and all good loops and trying to move people towards 3 gen."
Tell me things I have not been doing since 2016? You cannot force pallets faster than a good looper wants to give them to you.
Also let's take a look back at a time when Wraith was better than he his now. This is a time when wraith had a super lunge out of cloak which was removed from the game.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x6p4OtdwOy0
This is someone who has played wraith since 2016 and absolutely loved the character.
Look how easily wraith is shut down by SWF. Blight or Nurse in this situation could handle that team.
The bottom line is : wraith is not a competitive killer. What are his assets?
- Enhanced movement while cloaked - but he cant attack so the move speed is of questionable value when compared to killers that can attack directly out of their movement.
- Stealth - which does nothing vs SWF and does very little in general thanks to the HUD telling everyone when someone is in a chase.
- Limited addons that can do a few things like find people hiding or monitor gen progress. Fundamentally speaking he is an M1 killer and you can't change that aspect of his kit. Even super fast pallet breaking addons just dont work.
- Wraith has the M1 limitation so any time a god pallet is thrown the chase is over until the pallet is broken.
Compare that to Nurse /Blight
- Enhanced movement speed that can be used immediately to attack.
- Strong Anti loop (vs none for the wraith)
- High lethality because fast movement+strong anti loop.
- They have limited 4v1 potential because they can end chases so quickly unlike almost every other killer in the game.
The Wraith which might as well be a rock and Nurse/Blight is an Ak-47. Which do you want to use to kill survivors with? You make the call. You could become the best wraith in the world and you'll be stuck in a place where a mediocre Nurse/Blight does things seemingly effortlessly that you will never do because you chose the wrong killer platform.
Have you heard of the streamer/youtuber Scott Jund? He mained Wraith for a while and had his largest winstreak with him. He had a series of videos about, I suggest you check them out if you doubt that Wraith is viable.

Thanks it seems fixed now ๐

Before, when DBD was minimized but the match was queued, the game audio would be muted until the start of the match.
The return of game audio would alert me that the match was starting, so I would not be afk during the match. I would browser the internet or watch video until the start of the match, then immediately start playing.
This feature seems disabled with the new 7.0.0. patch. The game audio doesn't start when the match starts. As I result I'm often afk for a minute or so, when I manually check on the game.
Is there a way to fix it?
-
Probably when the anniversary starts on the 21st.
-
A workaround is to restart DBD with the controller already plugged in. Then, during the game you need to disconnect the controller and reconnect.
It works about 60% of the time, the other 40% it doesn't do anything.
-
I'm having the same issue with the GameSir T4 Kaleid controller.
The controller often only works in menus or on the pause screen, but I'm unable to move my character with it. The only way to fix it seems to be restarting the game.
A fix would be most welcomed!

The purple flashlight has 4 extra charges (12 vs 8), while the green has a 11% decreased battery consumption rate.
Maybe the decreased battery consumption is better when combined with the battery addons?
-
Right so duration is most important? And I guess green flashlight + batteries has the longest duration?
-
What are the devs thinking? Why has this not been kill switched already? It's been almost a month!
-
Is it fully fixed? I can manage to get them done but the skill check is so much harder than before.
-
Streamer D3AD encounter the bug many times during his 50 win streaks as Pinhead: https://youtu.be/bTTIxZsqkOo?t=596
-
Has this been corrected since?
-
As of 6.5.0 , the first two challenges have been fixed!
Unfortunately, Generate Fear (Tome 10 Part 2) remains bugged and impossible to complete.
There is already a report for that challenge (https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/359885/challenge-generate-fear-not-working) so my report can be closed.
-
It's also an issue with the Mori rituals, the mori doesn't count if the moried survivor is the last one left.

Yes. The Devs stated that it was a bug. When the incentives were live the first time they were multiplicative and could give you about 300k BP per match if everyone used an anniversary flan
I also want it back. 300k BP per match are just awsome.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/3216346#Comment_3216346
Before the change it was about 1.7mil BP for one prestige, now it's about 1.1mil.
Where did the Devs state multiplicative incentives were a bug?
-
Wait what? It's no longer multiplicative? Are you sure about this?
