  • I kinda agree. First of all, the violet-ish sky was gorgeous. Talking about the atmosphere I think some maps still retain a lot of the right vibes, but the first versions of the game were all much more dark and creepy? In the right way obviously. I think it's clear that they sacrificed some aspects like the darkness to improve the gameplay and the overall statuts of the game in better, but now we unfortunately have some maps that are way less "horror" than they could be.

  • Okay, even tho the fix is not listed in the patch notes it looks like the charge addons are now working as intended.

  • yeah I think it's working, but you can do that challange with two medkits I believe. Jus run pharmacy or something like that

  • yeah you gotta use them for sure hahaha but beside that, I don't think other charge addons are bugged. I hope. I would love to hear something from the devs, at least to pin point which one are bugged and which one are not, so I can avoide waisting addons

  • yeah of course, and I am in the same position as you, I was just so used to the controller that I didn't bothered learning the other way and now I just get frustrated whenever I notice all the little difects of the controller.

I kinda know that is not that possible, but I still hope to get an improvement on the controller in the future.

Pretty sure they were all meant to be announced (video, artwork, cosplay etc) but there were a LOT of entries for most of them, wouldn’t be surprised if they’re still working through them all/will delay the announcements.

Yeah there were a lot of entries in general, but it would be nice to have some more informations about the new dates for the results

  • I think as it is for now, nothing is posted yet. I am so curious to know when they'll announce all the things

  • Don't be mad, there's no reason for playing toxic and becoming what you are trying to avoid in the first place. Instaheals are indeed very strong, like a lot of things in the game, but they can't just remove everything that is strong cause it will ruin the game. Also, instaheals are not OP. They can completely change the results of a game if used well just like strong perks like noed and such, but what makes the difference in the player that is using it. A normal player benefit from a instaheal to a certain degree, but it's not comparable to what a veteran player can achieve with it. So it's a matter of strong items in the hand of strong players, isn't it?

Yes, there will be a stream this Thursday, specifically about the upcoming Freddy rework. I am excited.

May I ask when the results of the contests will be announced? :)

  • Short story from the other side perspective: i was playing killer (rank 12 cause recently i've been playing mostly survivor, 1k hours, first time trying freddy). I got matched against 4 solo claudettes, all of them were 1-3 ranks lower than me. One of them had 5 hours and one 50. HOW. My grandma called me mid game and I stayed on the phone for 2 minutes, I killed them all and I still felt bad hahah next game I found another claudette with 20 hours. Why they're there and what am I supposed to do with them hahah I don't wanna traumatize a new player, I know this game can feel frustrating and hard when you try to get to know it

  • It would be awsome to be able to just hold a control instead of spamming it. It would give you the same options, resisting or letting it go, but it would be so much better

  • Try distortion, alert, we'll make it and maybe an exhaustion perk

  • I ######### love jeff hahahah I main him since he came out. I guess people don't like the metalhead style but that's fine for me. The positive thing is that I never get a lobby with another jeff, it's always 3 identical pink hair Nea or things like that so it's nice for me.

Downsides: LARGE AS A ######### CAR

    LOUD AS HELL

  • @wait4him2leave said:

Distortion - This VERY RARE perk only has 3 stacks. It should work like Stake Out. If it worked when you're in a dying state it would be a good anti-slugging perk.

I would also pick Distortion. In my opinion adding just one or two tokens would make a nice difference

  • @Peanits said:

If you're referring to the issue where moving at an angle with an analog stick would move you slightly slower than the normal movement speed, that was indeed fixed in update 2.7.1. Now it doesn't matter where the stick is, as long as it's jammed over as far as it can go, you'll be moving the highest possible speed.

    Ok thanks :)

  • Nope, I'm sure I've lost it cause I knew the exact number of hook offerings left and there was one missing

  • nah dude, SWF is fine. it's not broken and people who wants to be toxic and rude will do that even if they are alone. I like to play fair and i'll do that also if im in SWF

  • People took this at a personal level haha wow.

My point was to give an advice to newer players that waste a lot of time and don't know what's efficient and what's not, hope you got it

Use self care, no problems. Waste a ######### ton of time and screw up the whole team by always being somewhere else selfcaring, that's a problem.

  • wat? that's the opposite dude. People with self care can't be injured for half a second, i usually spend most of the time injured, and that can be a bad thing obviously, healing is ######### important. im not ranting for no reasons, im simply tired of seeing two of my teammates self caring with no real purposes in the corners of the map. Im not syaing self caring is absolute trash, im saying that u can wait and heal where it's more efficient and spend the rest of the time rescuing people/doing totems gens and so on and so forth.

For your interest, if i run around injured, do something, then find you at another gen and you heal me the team automatically gained time, which is the key

  • @NuclearBurrito said:

If you are using other people to heal then you have lost the same amount of time in order to heal, if not more.

It's not stricly time related, it's about being efficient while playing. Healing urself can be useful, but you know THAT claudette that run all the way across the map and then spend 10 minutes self caring? That makes the killer gain pressure

  • and never forget the ol reliable rule n.3: don't crouch everywhere

  • RULE NUMBER TWO: pay attention to rule n.1 hhahahah

  • Spicy

The thing is, some killers are extremally bad at chases and because of this they are useless on certain maps, which makes them unable to prevent genrush.

Scratch mirror myers is a perfect example of this, where he can only work well on larry's.

Same goes with the trapper... he can't end chases quickly because his skill gives him 0 adventage at looping. Yes, you can place traps to end the loop, but you have only 3 traps with normal builds... unlike the hag that also can place traps quicker and doesen't need to pick them up.

Also The nightmare is a good example, you can't apply the pressure for 7 seconds after finding a survivor and the only way to really win as him regularly, that i know, is an end game build.

Well that proves the point: it's not "genrush", it's the killer that is unable to prevent survivors to work on gens. That is true, some killers are way less powerful than others but you could still play perfectly at the start of the game while survivors make mistakes thus resulting in a lot of pressure applied to the game, making genrush way more difficult. Obviously not all killers are the same, and that's the thing: genrush start to become a thing only when the killer is unable to counter what 4 survivors can do. Like the trapper as you said, unless you play like a monster and the survivors keep ######### things up, you won't be able to stop at least 2 survivors at a time from repairing gens.

So genrush is not a thing in itself, it's the killer being unable to prevent survivors from doing their objectives.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that is doesn't exist. I "genrushed" so many killers, but only because they were not capable of stopping me from doing so

  • Well, to be completely honest tunneling it's more of a thing. If you use the word to simply describe a killer chasing survivors then is bs, but it's a thing when a killer decide to kill a specific survivor asap and proceed to chase him as soon as he's being unhooked. That is tunneling. As i said, if you are a killer and by patrolling the map you stumble across a guy you already hooked, you chase him and then you kill him and he proceed to call you tunneler, that is 100% bs.

@_LC You are forgetting about something, if you happen to meet a team that is hitting a great skillchecks all the time, you are still buying yourself some time, simply because they don't receive a bonus generator progress for skillchecks.

And why should it be avoided? Because you can't give a name for a situation that is just simply a very fast gen progress that makes it almost impossible to play as certain killers?

I didn't say it's useless. I was responding to the thread argument that said that it was, i was in fact saying the opposite. Ruin can be extremely effective but you can also manage to bypass it by playing very well (like everything else).

Other than that yeah you can use the word genrush, of course, but the meaning that people gives to the word is just stupid. "generator being done so fast you can't play a certain killer" dude maybe you meant: "myself playing bad as killer and not being able to apply pressure" genrush happens when survivors can waste a lot of the killer's time giving others the time to repair gens. So when you say genrush it doesn't have much to do with gens themselfs, it has to do with survivor being super good at chases and wasting killer's time and killers not being able to apply pressure.

    in Ruin Comment by _LC
  • First off I think the word "genrush" should be avoided. I mean it's the only objective for the survivors, what do you exepect to happen if you chase a survivor for 5 minutes? Like I get into a game where I win if I do gens, the killer is busy chasing a guy, I'm sorrounded by gens: let's hide in a corner! Hell no hahaha I'll do gens. The word genrush is pointless.

Second, I guarantee you that if you get good at hitting great skillchecks the ruin will not only cease to be a problem but it would be a disadvantage for the killer because he would have wasted a perk slot on a team that can consistently hit greats.

Anyway Ruin is still sooo good to delay the progress of a game in certain situations.

    in Ruin Comment by _LC
  • That would make it more interesting, like a 30% of chance, support?

That would be pretty annoying but a comment here gave me an idea. It would be super sweet if the killer's coin offerings were secret and gave 100% chance of finding nothing in chests. This way you have a previously useless offering that is now very useful and also fun to play against cause of the secret element (you would be searching chest before finding out there is nothing there and other people would think there's a mori)

  • @Ihatelife said:

There is something about it. For me every legacy player is toxic as the killer.

It's easy to misunderstand a good player for a toxic one. I saw that a lot of legacy guys or really good players look toxic to inexperienced killers just because they are super good at surviving and they won't go down. Don't take experience for toxicness.

Also claudettes are sometimes toxic, but most of the time they are just useless. Urban evasion and self care are GREAT and I will repeat myself, great perks. They make you the worst useless team mate if you crouch to a corner losing a lot of times and then self care every time losing even more time and then do nothing to help your team to go towards the winning point

  • Yeah the delay removal is definetly a buff for the Wraith. The pig changes tho.. But I guess it was needed for not destroying the mechanic of the RBT during the end game collapse. I can imagine everyone using addons to make it impossible for you to remove your trap in under 3 mins

  • The thing is that not only Claudettes are stealthy AF but she's also a female character. I mean, I main Jeff right now. He's a little bit fat and loud as #########, basically even if you are not injured he scream like crazy all the time hahahaha so yeah there's that.

  • @Chaotic_Riddle said:

Welcome to the life of a Legion main:

You'll see here that we have plenty of DC'd bodies in that corner of the room and in the other corner, all of our add-ons and offerings that were wasted.

Well I understand but you know, Legion is ######### annoying to play against in the current state so there's that added to the total

  • @JawKnight said:

    You’re just a good Hag.

Naaah not at all. Somewhat good, but not good to a DC point. The next game I got heavily rekt by a normal team haha

Ragequits in general are just silly

  • @Raccoon said:

    *no BP

Yeah that's right, I mean if you got so mad why don't just get AFK and relax for a while? By doing this you would keep your BP and don't get other survivors offering wasted. The myers game I had i've used a bloody party and a guy used a bound envelope. And he DC'd

  • @TeambossFloze said:

@LCGaster - so then do Noobs want or request advice? some do - some are arrogant to think otherwise. Either way #########...where the ######### is this kebab..

A claudette is bringing it to you, she's going to crouch to you veeerry carefully and slowly.

  • @LCGaster said:

My boy LC, you are still far from earning the rank of Gaster. You must embrace the stealth if you want to become complete.

Oh I embraced it, stealth is good! I like that playstyle. I just lost the point where hinding in a corner miles away from everyone is stealth, I thought u had to loose chases with mindgames and ur ability to be stealthy successfully

  • You must be a poet hahah that kebab line got me in the heart, so much feelings hahaha

anyway you are 100%. everyone will play what they want and how they want

That's however will not stop me from giving advice from people who clearly needs it.

And something is telling me that u run self care and urban aren't you? hahah HANDS UP, UR UNDER ARREST

  • @TeambossFloze said:

@xChrisx - I hate spelling mistakes or people who can't type properly. Don't type if you can't spell.

    that's a clever answer

  • @xChrisx said:

I hate this playstile too, dont play if u suck in the chase.

well no, everyone can play if they want. I was trying to give tips to people so I cannot die farmed by a claudette

  • That's still rough haha that chilli mayo must be strong i guess

  • The funny thing is that both self care and urban are really good perks, it's just the way a rank 15 use them that make me go nuts haha

  • @TeambossFloze said:

@_LC YEah someone's bringing me a mixed kebab meat with chips, no salad and chilli mayo

    that's rough btw hahaha

  • @KillermainBTWm8 said:

I prefer to use urban selfcare and WGLF and farm you off the hook right infront of the killer without borrowed time then when you finally are dead because I farmed you I will leave to my corner with my points.

I don't trust a guy called KillerMain hahaha well anyway good for you

  • @TeambossFloze said:

    I'm hungry.

    Go get a sandwich dude

  • As people already said it would so much easier to automatically struggle and have an option to let go yourself in every moment. So many little problems with the struggle that could be avoided.

Good QoL change if it's done

  • Bait? Haha

Super easy to get used to, unlike the nurse he's extremely easy to master. If u catch a survivor in a open area and ur good, he's dead 100%. Also his hitbox it's larger than the shack, hit through corners are possible

  • Anyone is free to DC if they want to, no one can be forced to play. However DCing in most cases ruins the experience for the other players (survivors as well as killers). I think that people should be just a little bit more conscious of that. If anyone had a hated map and they'd DC if they get in there the game would be totally unplayable. In most of the cases people DC just for personal opinions and that is understandable but I mean, you can't DC if you think Coldwind is ######### and you will get killed, if you play well you could escape and so on, just think about it for a second.

As I said, you can DC but you ruin the game for others. I like to play accordingly to what is considered fair, you don't have to but remember that if u DC cause ur a complaining ######### ass I will be upset. Me and the other 2 survivors and Killer.
