Then make ur own thread and say abt these "better things". Cus I play 99% of the time my solo q as a surv so I have some exp and based on this experience I made this thread.

I have feeling this would screw matchmaking a lot…
How many killers would willingly go play, if they knew most of their games are going to be against SWF?
It wouldn't make soloQ better anyway, it would be still bad and killers would abuse the fact everyone is soloQ with perks/killers.
Just create soloQ improvements to normal gamemode, it's not that difficult:
- show other survivors loadouts in game
- some basic chat wheel system
- show aura of survivors you are not in party with while there is a hooked survivor
Lmao. Knowing that you as an assassin will play against SWF does not change anything. Because most killers already think so and build the most sweaty and effective build.

Better solution: Instead of giving into bad survivors who ragequit at the slightest inconvenience (or because they loaded into a match that a Skull Merchant dared to exist in), we take away their hook suicides and punish them instead. Designing around those people will just cause the killers in the game to all be current Freddy tier.
What a stuping thing lmao. I decide what I wanna play and what I don't. Playing surv is already painfull enought, DC giving penalty so only 1 good solution to avoid bs unfun killer is just suicide. Kinda recommend.

I’m starting to think they don’t care how unfun this is for survivors. We’ve been complaining till our throats bleed. Not one sign of fixing it.
Ofc devs don't care, they playing killer, popular streamers playing killer and all this damn game is abt killer. But why would I ever give up and stop my fight? I will whine everewhere as much as it needs to be to change something.

I honestly liked 2v8's idea of using exhaustion like ability to get oneself up off the ground. Honestly 2v8 has so many good anti-tunnel (self care) and slug (ability to get up) measures that don't outright remove the agency from killers.
It's still pointless, just for today I bleedout 2 times, doesnt matter my mates always get me up, after I get down again again and again I just bleed out so fast. Some killers just wanna be toxic with it

Yeah but cmon if they will spend much more time waiting till all survs bleedout and also for this they will not gen any bp then MAYBE they will have some brain activity

It seems like either two highly skilled killers have entered your game or your performance is below average. Based on my experience, this mode is generally easier for survivors and a -2 is often sufficient.
if we talking abt 2 random killers then mayby. i had it very rare. usually its 2 friends who tunnelling so badly
-
Yeah, the event is totally trash for survivals. Wow, I got some smoke-bomb what doing nothing and never has saved any1, but killer can now oneshot cus quess what?? This new thing doesn't have same cd with m1 so basically I'm just instadown in 1 sec (in right place pfc). Very-very cool. Also killers have 2 charge and survs only 1.
-
I think I'll have to give an example from my personal experience. One of them was a match against Deathslinger. The guy was sweating a lot and playing with red addons, tunneling people. I was playing with my duo. Two other guys suicide on hooks (and I don't blame them), there were 3 generators left to fix for the two of us (we were both on stage 2 of the hook). At some point, the killer became nice, or so it seemed to us then. He dragged us all over the map using his ability, let us fix the generators, constantly keeping us in sight. We spent about 15 minutes on all this. And in the end, as soon as we fixed the last generator (we were both damaged as well), he dropped us both. And he moribund us right next to the generator. If you specifically would cry from joy from such behavior, then I sympathize with you, because personally I consider this toxic behavior. And yes, if he had hooked us, the behavior of "I'm cute now and will give you hope but then I'll kill you" is still bad, but you must admit, less sad than "officially" giving your soul to an entity on a hook. Your argument "it's just a game" does not work, you cannot deny that toxic behavior exists and we, as people who have emotions, feel this behavior, and it does not matter if it happened in real life or in a game. It is not a pleasant feeling.
The second case was similar, but at least it did not take so long. We played against Ghostface, he hooked us all 2 times and let us go. I do not know why he did not like me, but he did a mori on me 1 centimeter from the exit border. What would have changed if he had carried me on the hook? Yes, a lot. Firstly, all team members were alive and were ready to take the hit. Then the classic rescue with a flashlight. Do you now understand what I mean or still not?
-
I also want to add that everything I described in all the comments above has little to do with what you call a "horror game" (I'm talking about Mori abuse). It's just too often used in toxic ways that only relate to bad and unsportsmanlike behavior, but not to the fact that it's a horror game.
-
@TragicSolitude said:
https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3818670#Comment_3818670
But then why play a horror game? Play any other game. Horror is about awful things happening to a person against their will. People are abducted, attacked, tortured, degraded, forced to watch their loved ones suffer, murdered… etc. etc. That's horror. If the person chooses to go through those, then it's not horror, it's S&M. S&M is something consensual you do with another person or in a dating SIM.
Edit: I guess I should point out that by logging in to play DbD, and knowing that moris exist and are part of the game, you are consenting to these gameplay mechanics happening to you. You are an adult choosing to play the game, and these are horror-related things happening to you in a safe environment, in a fictional polygon-rendered video game. It's safer than going into a haunted house: nothing is physical, nothing can actually touch you.
You probably misunderstood me. I am against the way mori is used. And that mori is a complete deprivation of survivors of the ability to save a dying teammate. As I said, it's all about abuse because someone has gained control over the player. This is what makes the fact of mori too toxic. And I don't see anything wrong with giving survivors a choice whether they want it or not. Mori should have a counter-version, like "lightborne" against blinding.
-
@TragicSolitude said:
A mori is only toxic if it's one of the boring ones like Trapper (non-Naughty Bear) or Wraith. Forcing me as a survivor to watch that shows a complete lack of respect for the value of my time. Play a killer with a fun mori, for god's sake.
Like Wesker. His mori is the dark side of hentai. Good stuff. I've stood in line and waited my turn for that mori more than once.
I'm trying to imagine DbD without moris at all, and really it would be the last vestiges of horror disappearing from the game. Trying to live the horror experience of hiding from a killer/monster and there not being a brutal death animation anywhere? That'd be unbearably vanilla. I don't want DbD to be August Underground, but as a piece of media that's rated mature it would be pretty insulting to adults if the game were safer than a Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark illustration.
No one forbids you to enjoy mori. But you cannot deny that the problem associated with it exists. And there are people who do not want to be killed in this way. It will not hurt you in any way if a personal offering or ability appears that allows you not to be moried. It is the right to choose.

This is entitlement incarnate. Sincerely, there is nothing inherently toxic about mori'ing; you the individual believe that. It saves the killer what, 10 seconds of walking you to a hook? Prevents a save they can just defend from? Survivor mains are so full of double standards its insane. If you play well as survivor and finish 3 gens with less than 4 hooks states, you don't think "gosh the killer is having a hard time maybe we should slow down" you think "haha I'm having fun, this killer is bad!". If you escape you tbag at gates for no reason, if things don't go your way you give up on hook. But when killers tunnel, camp, mori; thats not allowed, they arent allowed to win, to have fun, to beat you. Reflect on that.
For now this is the most stupid here what I saw. Okay, I'll explain once more and never again, cus its getting really annoying.
>This is entitlement incarnate. Sincerely, there is nothing inherently toxic about mori'ing; you the individual believe that. It saves the killer what, 10 seconds of walking you to a hook?
If we're talking about the pink mori offering, I've already... described why it's OP a hundred times. It takes away the group's ability to save the survivor from death. If we're talking about using mori on the last survivor, I've already said that I PERSONALLY prefer to be sacrificed or bleed out at the edge of the map. Why? Because I very often (not always!) find myself in a situation of abuse and complete disrespect. I've described all of this above and I'm really tired of constantly referring people to what I wrote in the comments. Killers ABUSE mori to show their disregard for the surviving player: they stand over them and hit them, they do the "you know what" motion, they nod their head, they wait until the last second until you're about to bleed out to then do mori, they carry you to the hook then throw you on the floor and do mori, they carry you to the hatch then do mori. How many times do I have to repeat this for you to see it?
>Survivor mains are so full of double standards its insane.
Womp-womp I can't believe ppl actually can not main any side and just play both.
>If you play well as survivor and finish 3 gens with less than 4 hooks states, you don't think "gosh the killer is having a hard time maybe we should slow down" you think "haha I'm having fun, this killer is bad!"
Oh, you'll be surprised, but when I play as a survivor (mostly solo) and when the killer is really bad and we win very quickly, in most cases completely random people without any means of communication decide to give the killer hooks and sometimes even kills. And you know what the secret is? People play for fun and not for winning and they have personality, unlike killers who only care about numbers at the end of the game.
>If you escape you tbag at gates for no reason, if things don't go your way you give up on hook.
I also meet such survivors and this is also not normal? Toxicity in games is #########, can you imagine? And it does not matter which side you play. But since the topic of this thread is specific - mori, I did not raise the topic of the entire toxicity of the community.
>But when killers tunnel, camp, mori; thats not allowed, they arent allowed to win, to have fun, to beat you. Reflect on that.
Oof… well like… If tunneling, camping and mori are FUN for you then I am simply speechless. I really have no desire to even explain anything. -
>first of all, calling moris toxic is on the same level as calling flashlight saves toxic.
second, i mean…what exactly is unbalanced about it? Even before, when you were the last survivor alive, what could you do if killer downs you before getting a hatch? Get hooked and instantly get sacrificed, or killer might carry you to the hatch. With finisher mori, situation is literally the same lol.
I think mori is toxic and I've already explained why I think so above. If you're too lazy to reread my answers, that's not my problem, I won't repeat the same thing over and over, we're not in kindergarten.
At the very least, being sacrificed sounds a lot more fun than being humiliated by some dumb doll, right? (just as an example). If you like dying that way, go ahead, no one's stopping you. I'm speaking here on my own behalf (and fortunately I'm not the only one) who doesn't like the fact that mori mechanics are inevitable for a survivor. Oh, and you mentioned saving yourself with a flashlight? FYI, if you haven't noticed, the killer has a cool ability called "lightborne". If you don't want to be blinded, you use it. But what if you don't want to be killed with mori? That's right, your wishes don't matter, you're just a meat survivor.
>welcome to literally every PvP game in existence, is it toxic if it's in nature of people to play to win? It's bad sportsmanship to win?Winning means you are sweaty tryhard?
- Calling survival horror PvP is, of course, too strong. I see a problem with you - you see the game as a platform for competition, and not as a game that should, in theory, bring pleasure from the process.
2. Yes. The culture of games "I play to win at any cost" is stupid, toxic and sweaty. You will not be able to change my mind. If you only get pleasure from winning and not from the process, then I think you should not play games.
>again, this kind of logic is as ridiculous as "flashlights are toxic" one. How can you abuse it? And even funnier, what makes you so sensitive about moris lol, the fact that the imaginary characters kills other imaginary character in a "disrespectful" way? LOL
I already answered this. I answered why mori is toxic and how players abuse it. Before you write something like that, make sure you didn't miss 90% of everything I wrote in the post and in the comments.
>so…mori is OP because killer gets immunity to an already unhealthy game mechanic, but btw, who can sabotage the hook when you are the last survivor left? Papa John?I think at this point it's time for you to take a breather and drink some tea, since your text is so emotional that you clearly don't see that your comment is completely devoid of logic and connection with what I wrote. Mori - OP, I wrote why. Because it deprives the team of the opportunity to save a teammate. The topic of Mori on the last one standing has nothing to do with this, if you suddenly didn't notice. This is a different topic. Do you understand? And I also answered what's wrong with this.
>darling, fatalities exist since first Mortal Kombat game was released and nobody was acting like they shouldn't exist because they are "disrespectful towards the other player", you are just meddling your personal feelings into it + taking it way too seriously.
Nobody is having too much power over you.Oh, we're getting personal? Okay my cute little boy, or whatever you want me to call you, my sweetie? I can be as cringey as you are, but okay, I'll try to be serious. So. MK and similar games are PvP, it's a competition. You're one on one with your opponent on equal terms. Can you say the same about DBD? If so... well? My condolences.
"You take the game too seriously" says a person who can't enjoy the game unless he wins. Dude, if someone spits in your face, I would advise you to just kill your feelings. It's not that he's bad, it's that you take everything that way. The argument of such a horn does not stand up to any criticism at all and has no relation to reality, because it has long been obvious to everyone that people - SURPRISE - are living beings who experience emotions and games also cause emotions, oh my god, who would have thought! In particular, the behavior of other players towards you can also cause emotions, both positive and negative, which is normal. I am more than sure that all those who say "dude, relax, it's just a game" smash the keyboard and scream at the whole house if they did not get their treasured 4K and the last survivor tbagging near the hatch.
>????????????Hell yeah, best argument I ever saw.
>dear god, you would be killed by sacrifice anyways, killer doesn't instantly become able to mori you as soon as all other survivors die, killer has to down you first.Dear Satan, there is a big difference between being sacrificed on a hook, having gone through all the stages, or being used as a free punching bag. In any case, I have already written about all this above and I see no point in repeating myself again.
- Calling survival horror PvP is, of course, too strong. I see a problem with you - you see the game as a platform for competition, and not as a game that should, in theory, bring pleasure from the process.

"A survivor can be killed by this toxic method even if he was never hooked. I get that you guys like killers and all that, but the game needs to smell a little bit of balance, right?"
You have to be the last survivor. Not last one standing or not on hook, but last survivor period. Hook stages are irrelevant; you wouldn't even get a chance to 4%. You're dead. Case closed.
"You, the developers, if by some miracle you are reading this post, which I highly doubt, are literally cultivating bad sportsmanship by offering to kill the last survivor for free. Instead of encouraging a "hatch for the last surv standing" culture you're literally telling killers "dude we love that you tryhard and slug players for 4K"."
If you wanna give hatch, go ahead. But you're the killer. You cannot expect the devs to balance the game around NOT accomplishing their goal.
And then there's this discussion about a mori being hatred? I... no. I'm not going to bother.
>You have to be the last survivor. Not last one standing or not on hook, but last survivor period. Hook stages are irrelevant; you wouldn't even get a chance to 4%. You're dead. Case closed.
I don't understand at all why this was said and where is the argument here? I have already repeated a hundred times that it is unfair and the OP in one click destroys a survivor who has never been on the hook. I, as a player who often remains the last one alive and who played so well that he has never been on the hook, do not deserve to be killed in this way. PERSONALLY I do not like this and that is why I would like to have the ability to prevent mori on myself. And this is a completely reasonable desire and if it offends you, then something is wrong with you.
>If you wanna give hatch, go ahead. But you're the killer. You cannot expect the devs to balance the game around NOT accomplishing their goal.Giving the hatch to the last survivor is not a must, but it is considered good manners. I mean, instead of making the game more about fun and less about tryharding, the developers are doing the opposite. Before 2020, the game was fun, few people really sweated in a game about survival and killing. But now we are here.

I'm sorry but I'm not trolling. You chose a peculiar wording for your post, aiming for a harsh retoric that points the finger against a game mechanic and the playerbase: hatred. It's a strong word, but it's related to YOU and how YOU perceive the mori. Just you. It's how you see it. Maybe on the other side of the screen that's a cool dude who enjoy playing with others, but you chose the word "hatred".
As I said, it's a strong word. Someone already said that:

Its not free. The killer hooked you twice.
And that's true. I'm sorry, but it's true. You can carry a better mori fo course but, honestly, WHY. And btw…

Damn maybe u wanna read post huh?
Seems pretty harsh to me as an answer of someone who wanna talk about it.
- The argument is meaningless. We can talk for a long time about "it's not what it seems, it's just you who sees it". Especially when the killer is standing over you, constantly using an attack on you, nodding his head, picking you up, carrying you to the hook, then throwing you on the floor to do a mori. Yeah, dude, you're right, there's no hate or toxicity in that.
2. I have already answered this.
3. What do I not want to talk about? I still don't understand. And yes, I can counter with the same thing you tried to counter me with in your first address - everything is not what it seems to you, it's just your perception of my words. In fact, I am incredibly kind and nice.

Agreed that some of the wording is awkward. OP's opinions are definitely valid, but you're also right that the mori isn't free; the killer does have to get the last survivor down.
Just want to note that the finisher mori doesn't require the last survivor to have been hooked at all.
I already answered everything in the post itself. The killer gets a free kill. Why? Because mori eliminates the ability to save the survivor by blinding the killer, stun with a palette, sabotaging the hook, etc. What other arguments should I give?
-

I fully agree with the sentiment here, though I don't want to be hostile to the devs:
Hi devs! Please know that some of us have stopped playing survivor or even spending money on the game because of this :) The game's continued success requires us to want to do those things. We can be friends! Devs + survs forever. BFFFs <3
Also, it seems like this system encourages getting 4k regardless of how unsportsmanlike you have to be to do it. Tunnel? Proxy camp? Slug for 4k? All ways to get to that juicy mori!
I totally get it. As someone who plays both sides, it's really weird to see the power tilt so much towards the killers (and it's certainly not because the devs are playing as killers). I'm just tired of feeling like a helpless punching bag for the killer's pleasure. I'm a player just like him and I deserve to have fun too, but alas I can't because the survivor is just a piece of meat for the killer's entertainment. The peak is that I can just be brutally and humiliatingly killed without ever being hooked, when I played really well and therefore remained the only survivor. And what do I get for it? We all know.
-
You actually touched on an important topic that I think should go much further than just talking about one achievement. The culture of getting sweaty 4K should just die in my opinion, it's not a fun gameplay at all and it breeds a lot of toxicity (slugging, tunneling, camping, etc). But for some reason, instead of encouraging good sportsmanship where the killer gives the hatch to the last survivor, the developers encourage tryharders because they'll soon add a free mori to the last survivor. And then they wonder why their game has lost its atmosphere and fun... Because 99% of killers are ready to go out of their way to get 4K, otherwise their life will end.
-
Bro its killer-sided game, forgot abt it. They tryhard so much to do game more easier for killers
-
The mori mechanic is disgusting and toxic, and now the developers are even encouraging its use with a bonus to blood points. It is especially toxic to introduce free mori for the last survivor. Oh no, why reward good sportsmanship when the killer lets the last survivor go, let's reward sweaty men who play this game to win! The developers themselves are killing the atmosphere of the game with this approach, making it less of a game for fun and more of a game for tryharding.

I am sorry, I think I just had a stroke there. Pyramid Head is one of the most balanced killers, yet Clown is an insta win? You realise how weak Clown is, and that almost everyone agress that he is weak?
So you won against 4000+ hour survivors as Dredge? I have a hard time believing that, though of course, it is possible, perhaps Dredge is just right up your ally when it comes to playstyle though, which is why you had good results with him, people have different skillsets in the end. That doesn't immediately mean Dredge is op, especially since many survivors haven't learned to counterplay him effectively yet. In the end, Dredge does nothing for you for free. If you want to win against good survivors, you have to play well with him. And I would argue his skill ceiling is actually fairly high. Which, to be fair, is why it's not 100% clear if he really is fine, or might need some small nerfs. But if he does need some small nerfs in the future, I am sure it will only be very small ones. I would also argue that his counterplay has a surprisingly high skill ceiling as well for survivor.
Of course the classic argument is that killers one doesn't like, don't take any skill, but that's just being completely dishonest. Even the easiest killers still take a certain amount of skill.
I also find it fascinating that you mention Nemesis, Bubba, and of course Clown. And then go on to say that tunnel master himself is the most balanced killer in the game, who outshines every killer you listed in power. Because Pyramid Head, especially when you use his tunneling capabilities, is an absolute monster. He does requqire a lot of skill though, that's true. But so do Bubba, Clown, and Nemesis as well, although the last one isn't quite as hard to master. And to be fair, a camping Bubba takes no skill, that is indeed true.
Your attempts here to dismiss all the people that disagree with you as killer mains, or killer miners, which I am not sure is intentionally worded, that just want easy wins and can't accept losses is just sad though. Especially some of your very provocative comments. It just shows that you are pretty damn immature, which also suggests a lot that you are very likely not even open to learn how to counterplay new killers, or those you simply don't like. It's your opinion or people are laughable.
But guess what, this game is not designed specifically for you. Everyone has killers they dislike going against, but that doesn't mean they immediately need to be nerfed. And furthermore, I have seen a fair amount of survivor mains saying they enjoy going against Dredge a lot themselves. And I personally think he is one of BHVR's absolutely best designed killers.
Why can't you read what I write? I said Clown OP when he uses addons and it really is. Without addons it's nothing but with addons it's OP.
I did not deny that he is a master of tunneling. How does that make it less balanced? You know, I have never seen some streamer killer miner, playing as a pyramid head, finish the match in 3 minutes by killing 4 survivors. Do you know where I saw it with? With Bubba, who uses addons. Again, this is completely irrelevant to this thread. I did not say that Dredge deserves huge nerfs, I clearly and clearly described what exactly needs to be fixed - 1 detail, that's all. But the tears from the killers in this topic accumulated on the whole river.
-
Good video about this btw
-
I just suggested increasing the release time from a closed box to 5 seconds, so that it would be commensurate with the stun, because after that the lock breaks and you can no longer close the cabinet, but the killer-mainers have already burst into tears that someone does not like imba killers🤡

You're being dishonest, not becayse you think Dredge needs a nerf, but because you go as far as being adament that the killer has no cons.
He's an M1. He needs to hit with a basic attack, which is an absolutely awful way to damage survivors in the current state of the game. That is a con.
Luckily, he does have an anti loop ability. (which doesn't make this con suddenly not exist, it's just a pro, the same way being a 3.8 is a con for the Nurse, even if her pro, teleporting, makes her the best killer in the game)
His anti loop, however, is heavily dependant on how well the survivor can mindgame. I've played dredge a lot and I've seen survivors play really well around his antiloop.
But it's far easier yelling OP without actual arguments other than "killer mains always defend killers gnnn" while the game is gigantly survivor sided...
I'll surprise you but many assassins need to press m1 to hit with an attack. Oh, or do you, Mr. killer-mainer, want the survivors to be already lying on the ground from the start of the game? clear👍️

Honestly the killer has only been out for 5 days. How about you learn to play around it before crying for a nerf, it's almost as bad as the people who think nemesis is somehow OP or that wraith was broken pre nerf. Mid mmr survivor players always expect the game to play the exact same way every time and never wanna take the time to learn how to play around a unique killer power, and that's why they'll always be mid mmr at best.
His anti-loop is very much counterable, it's almost entirely a 50/50 and can be negated by simply leaving the loop if needed. His darkness punishes players who don't take the time to learn map layouts, I've personally never had an issue running it during it's nightfall power. Dredge's TP is such a telegraphed ability that if you get caught out by it anywhere outside of nightfall, that is 100% on the survivor and their reaction time/awareness. This is a killer that heavily punishes players for a lack of awareness, game knowledge, and reaction time, and the only way anyone will learn to play around it is by improving in chase themselves. In other words, if you're good at the game, you will have an easier time looping the Dredge.
He was at PTB. How about finally opening your eyes and facing the facts and arguments that I present? I understand for a killer miner it is difficult to take the position of a survivor, but it's worth a try.

This new killer definitely needs a giant nerf. It's got excellent gen pressure on any size map, excellent chase with ability to block and jump back with husk, full speed movement. Locker exit speed is so fast it literally appears and you get hit, no chance to move. And it's got darkness. They've literally made a killer that's good at everything, no weaknesses.
AND the skill needed to play it is very very low, so literally any noob can go destroy experienced survivors. This killer should not be on par with nurse which takes hundreds of hours to learn to play decently. At this point I'm done playing against it, literally just going to die first hook. I play for fun, and if there's no fun there's no point.
Yes, I'm talking about this and trying to say that this killer is simply devoid of cons, it's very stupid. But people who main killers think it's normal, because for them all that survivors deserve is a quick death) and for some reason there are a lot of such people under this post, but few people who main survivors, because their opinion is more objective in this issue. I am also not the one to main survivors, I play both sides and therefore I know how difficult it is to be a survivor, but this is a topic for another topic😄

It's 2 seconds with the addon, not 1. Normal time is 3 seconds, which is definitely long enough, and the addon decreases it by 1 second.
To be fair, that addon I can definitely see being nerfed just slightly in the future, easily one of his strongest addons.
Dredge definitely has a fair amount of counterplay. People have been counterplaying me in chase often enough as well. Not saying I would be against giving him a bit of counterplay while looping him, I've suggested increasing the time it takes to teleport to his remnant to like 0,5+ seconds or so myself, but he does have a good amount of counterplay outside of simple looping. Dredge's chase potential is decently strong, but nothing crazy. The only thing they have to change for sure is him still gaining Bloodlust despite charging and even using his power.
Sadako also isn't a good comparison, because almost everyone agrees she is really weak. The solution here is not to nerf Dredge, but to buff Sadako.

Have you played him? He definitely doesn't have a skill floor even close to Nurse, but playing him well is not that easy. He definitely takes some skill, especially if you want to play him optimally. I would argue his skill ceiling is actually fairly high, because it depends a lot on prediction, and very good map awareness.

Other people have enough arguments here as well. The cop out argument of people only being killer mains, not wanting to accept that a killer is too strong, is not going to do you much service though.
His teleport has a 12 second cooldown, and it's not that fast. Survivors can lock lockers once, and most of the time, lockers are near generators, but not right next to them. There are also always some people that think a killer is too op after he releases. That's nothing new. Although I do think his Nightfall needs to be toned down a bit.
I gave an example in Sadako because in my opinion it was stupid to immediately release a new addon with the exact same killer, but much stronger, immediately after the Sadako addon. It just takes away the meaning of Sadako. Definitely Sadako is very weak, I can't argue with that.
Yes, I tried to play but not on my account, because I don't want to buy it. My experience is only 200+ hours and for some reason I win against people who have 4.000+ hours. No, not because I'm a pro gamer and not because I play against noobs, it's just that this killer is like that. I don't have to do any super complicated stuff, his power and imba perks do everything for me. I don't need to stress. That's why I can't stand such killers, including Nemesis, Clown, Bubba and this woman who always vomits. These guys are too imba when they use the best addons. All you can do against them is die. I'm a pyramid head miner because I think he's one of the most balanced killers in the game. Well, because I just love him😈
I think that killer miners are not objective in this matter, that's why they are killer miners. These are the people who have strike wins of 50 matches but at 51 they lose and start crying that the killers are not strong enough and we need to nerf the survivors.
You know, this killer is simply impossible to escape. It's not real at all. If by some miracle you find yourself far away from him, he simply teleports to the nearest locker, because he also sees the aura of the players next to them. When you drop the pallet, he will simply put the portal and all you have to do is run to the next pallet, but while you are running, he will catch you.

This killer is at best a B bottom / C tier. Against decent survivors he will struggle, a lot. But ofc beginners will complain about everything.
I do not take the opinion of people with a killer on their profile picture seriously

Well first of all I didn't develop the game so I hardly care about the process they went through developing Dredge and leaving Sadako behind. Don't care. Secondly I'm only giving suggestions based on my experience, suggestions you're welcome to ignore.
Just learn how to deal with the killer, ask how to deal with the killer from survivors who have found something that works. Clearly though he's not like other killers who can be looped for hours on end or have been around so long like Nurse and Blight. He's A tier at best but will never be S tier like Blight or Nurse. You want someone to be nerfed, nerf those two instead
I don't think the Nurse deserves a nerf. This character is completely dependent on the skill of the player, which cannot be said of the new killer. You know, there are cyber-cutlet survivors for whom any killer is not a problem, but such people are few. In my environment, absolutely everyone says that the new killer is too OP, but unfortunately they are not registered on the forum and do not post here because they think it does not make sense. I don't think so, so voicing what is really happening in the hope that the developers will pay attention to it

Once a killer commits to breaking the pallet, there is no defence and it's a cheap blind when a survivor does this. Bad enough killers got to navigate the maps with many pallets and so much else for survivors to use, we have to just stand there and take a blind which requires no skill on the survivor's part.
also, there are toxic survivors who will double-blind you or even try to triple-blind you, it's crazy that a killer can't do anything. We could use light born or other perks, but that takes up a perk slot and we badly need to use that slot for something that can slow survivors down on gens.
You can obviously detect when the killer commits to breaking the pallet as the animation breaking pallet starts, so once that triggers, just prevent the killer from being able to be blinded. Quite frankly, if the survivor is good enough and most are, they can make it to next tile in the time it takes the killer to break the pallet, so it's not really a big deal if you do this but it would really help killers out as its one of the things survivors deliberately do to annoy you.
While doing this, remove the ability to double-blind the killer as well, as there really should be no ability for survivors to do this.
Killer miners will never stop complaining about stupid things. in 70% of cases, the killers win and kill at least 3 survivors, for the survivors there are fewer blood points. to win you need to have as many as 4 people who know how to play well, unlike when you play as an assassin and you rely on yourself. and many other things but yes, let's nerf the survivors even more🤡

New killer adapt to it git gud you know all people do here is complain.
Is complaining bad? I hi enough arguments. I know that 99% of killer miners will never admit that some killer is too strong🤡
After all, yes, a killer who teleports as many times as he likes over long distances, who sees the auras of players 8 meters from the lockers of which there are a lot on the whole map and they are most often next to generators, who blocks the ability to abuse the palette simply by placing a portal there, which does not give survivors orient themselves in space during the night - all this is of course normal and playing against such a killer is a pleasure, yeah. And I came here just to cry for no reason👏
-
As you know, Nurse is the weakest and strongest cbian, it all depends on your personal skill and how you got used to this character. The new killer though has a teleportation system but you don't need to have any skill to do -4.

he still is an m1 killer that relies so much on survivors making mistakes more than relying on his power to accomplish anything even his mobility can be rng cuz some maps still have a locker deadzone areas. Plus the what you call "portal" that he leaves behind will not work if you don't let it to and hold w and go to another loop or (fake) going to another loop or running through it before he can tp to it.
as for nightfall you can still hear where he is cuz he makes a noise all the time while walking exposing his place nightfall is more about buffing his power than being a hindrance to survivors cuz it barely does anything except on really dark maps.
maybe just take your time to learn his counterplay instead of complaining about the killer being op this soon?
I play with friends and they have a lot more time in the game than I do, and even they confirm that the new assassin is too strong and I have given enough reasons why this is so. If we have problems with a completely "own" group, even though we have a discord, can you imagine what random groups do? 1 second (with addon) to get out of a locked cabinet is crazy, it's too strong. Also, the portal that he places does not give a noticeable decrease in speed. I dropped the palette and started running around it, but he set up a portal and it became impossible for me, so I tried to run to another palette, but he still caught up with me very quickly even without teleporting through the lockers. And when he chases you during the night and does the same thing, it’s basically impossible to run away even with a certain perk, when you see the nearest palettes and windows, it just doesn’t work. Isn't that enough to nerf a killer? And I repeat again - why do we need Sadako if the new killer has the same abilities as her, but much better?

How is that even possible? It takes him 3 seconds in addition to the other time to get out of a locked locker. He shouldn't be up your ass in any way after that.
it's all because of the addon, I told

Dredge has a locker prioritization which can be used against him. When there's clusters of lockers, normally two, Dredge will always teleport to the locked locker no matter what.
If you lock both Dredge will break out one locker and instantly break the other. Instead you should be locking one at a time and locking the other after chase. This makes it so he has to break out of the locker both times and he can't do anything about it.
Unfortunately this tactic becomes a teammate problem because I've seen certain survivors lock every single locker they see for points or they don't get that Dredge can just M1 the locker. It becomes frustrating after awhile for some people, that much I'm sure.
Lastly 1 second will always be enough time to get away. If it's nightfall you may just want to be steering clear of lockers in general
it's insanely bad for the game, it's time consuming when you're just hiding during the night. What does it mean that I have to stay away from the lockers? they are almost always near the generators. I'm not a rat that hides the whole game and does nothing, I still want to win maybe? 1 second is never enough, it shouldn't be that short. and I never got an answer why then does Sadako exist if this new assassin is just so much better

Dredge is hardly OP. A+ tier max but definitely not S tier. It's a lot on paper and Nightfall can be a little disorienting for players not use to it but all I can say is get use to it.
They might reduce the dark affect on screen in the future but that's the only kind of nerf Dredge deserves. Just have to learn how to counter the killer in your own way or with your team. Unlike Sadako who's power doesn't even work passively like it's suppose to
I think that you need to nerf her teleportation, or rather the time when she breaks the locker. 1 second is nothing at all, without addons it should be at least 5 seconds which is the size of a stun, because like a pallet it just breaks the lock and it doesn't work anymore
