IDK. The only 2 problems I had on this map was scratch marks and some environment that looked like breakable wall but wasn't in 1 building. Some elements in the map resemble them too much which made me go on a fake chases. For the pallets - yes there are many pallets. But only a few usable. You don't need to even break most of them.
I just had a single game on it, but 4K at 4 gens with wesker should indicate the strength of those pallets.
Yeah the walls are something I haven't seen mentioned much. It's like they reused assets from the new textures. I keep spamming the action button trying to break them only to look like an idiot. It's very confusing.

^^ this
The difference was night and day
Just tried cross off and no changes. I'm on xbox tho so if it's an issue caused by consoles in the lobby, I guess I'm ######### out of luck.

Tunneling, hook blocking, and camping isn't skilled also hook blocking 100% ruins the game. You aren't even playing at that point and for as long as you're there, neither can that other player. Getting your feelings hurt does not warrant quite literally taking advantage of the game mechanics to be an insufferable troll. It makes me want to but it's absolutely trash and we know that too.
I'll give you a pass cause it seems you're new. Good day to you.

I play 50/50 and have sub 200 posts but yeah I'm totally a forum killer lol

What does adding to the cycle even achieve. It will ruin the game for you.
I think the game may already be ruined lol

You are encouraging it when you treat survivors who are not toxic this way.
Look at how the behavior of others has changed your playstyle. The same goes for survivors who have encountered killers like the ones who you described in your op. Toxicity breads toxicity breads toxicity.
And the last thing you're in any place to preach about is being constructive when you're perpetuating bad behavior.
I never came in here to preach. I came in here to rant lol. I never claimed to be on a moral high horse here. If you get camped by me, you should brush it off the same why I should brush off t-bagging. As I said before and you don't seem to understand, I wasn't playing toxic before and in 10 games I saw 40 t-baggers. I'll gladly encourage it now because I don't care about the game health or other people's fun anymore, so I will adjust my playstyle accordingly. I simply don't care anymore. Understand?

Take a break. Like for real I know it's hard this game is very addicting but try to find a a new game. I've been playing slot of destiny 2. And I'm in a zen place. I can't wait for VHS
Yeah VHS looks 10 times better than this garbage could ever be. I just wish this game hadn't mismanaged so many of my favorite horror icons, ya know? :/

Ah yes, another thread of someone perpetuating the cycle they claim to be fed up with. You don't get to complain about the behavior of others while also blindly engaging in it.
If survivors are acting a certain way, sure, let them have it. But to go in and treat others that may have done absolutely nothing that way invalidates your entire perspective on this.
I haven't been encouraging it at all. I have always tried to play fair but since sbmm every survivor acts this way no matter what. Now I will gladly perpetuate the cycle because yes I am fed up.

Huh, tough talk from someone who felt the need to tell everyone that you're going to begin camping and tunneling because of survivors spamming LCTRL.
Like bro it's a video game it's not that deep. Is it unbalanced, sure, but my man really wants to ruin the fun of other survivors who likely don't teabag.
Why should I give anyone the benefit of the doubt? I haven't met a survivor in 10 games who didn't bm. I never said it was deep, I'm just repaying the favor lol.

Toxic people is toxic, not one side. Im glad that you will sweat. Thats mean I will never vs you at my "low skill base"
Hmm I play about 50/50 and I rarely have toxic killers but to each their own. Maybe my survivor mmr is lower to where not every killer I vs thinks they're an e-sport legend.

didn't run them before, probably won't run them now.
i do actually like the ones that increase the mark meter. as for the other ones there hit or miss.
but thing that sucks is, he didn't get any actual changes that were any good to his add-ons while other killers did.
i would've loved to see some more unique affects be added on like
- when downing a marked survivor, every other survivors have their meters increased up to x%.
- if a survivor with a meter that is 50% or more takes a protection hit they are given x status effect. or even downed.
- when his power is active and he is crouched he sees survivors auras within x meters.
even some basic add-ons changes would've been nice.
I love these ideas! I know Ghostface has a pretty basic power but I really wish they had tried to give him some more love like the other killers that got add on passes. I do appreciate the -6s to recovery but this is effectively a nerf to double recovery and a buff to nothing else. It would be cool if they could bake a mini version of one of his perks into an add-on like they have for say Freddy or the new pighouse gloves for Billy. Maybe a mini thrilling tremors proc when downing a marked survivor or an I'm all ears proc for chasing a survivor while stealthed?
Or maybe an add-on that slightly debuffs survivors that reveal you? Say x status effect as not to punish survivors too hard for correctly playing against ghostface.
-
I mean, as I understand they didn't rework anything else of his, so I'll probably just keep using double recovery for now.
-
All I'm gonna say is this upcoming add-on pass better not touch double recovery ghostface or shadow dance+serpent wraith.

I find most matches I've done as survivor side they'll either camp or tunnel and this coming from someone who plays both sides though I avoid doing that oh and several killers on these forums argue that facecamping and tunneling is a perfectly fine tactic and not toxic at all many of them are proud of it and think it's fine to do so.
Damn thats unlucky :/ I find most of my survivor matches go pretty well. Usually I have a bigger gripe with my teammates than the killer lol. Maybe I'm just lucky with the killers I vs.

I mean, survivors do have toxic survivors to blame for killers being toxic though, hell even Otz, well known for being a kind killer tunnels and camps and punishes toxic survivors. I don't think anyone is saying toxic survivors aren't to blame for killers reacting badly
Also read the wording of the title, I'm not saying survivors AREN'T to blame, I'm saying killers being straight up toxic for no reason are ALSO to blame for killer mains having to deal with survivors running meta perks that make it hard to punish them for their mistakes because of people who choose to tunnel and camp at the start of the game. There's a reason why face-camp Bubba is even a thing, because it works. Plus yeah the killer loses in the end against en experienced group and most time they gain nothing from it yet they do it anyway.
Because they want to be toxic, which is what I'm ranting about. It doesn't benefit the very killers who want to play the game and punish survivors instead of playing around and invisible forcefield being the anti-camp anti-tunnel perks and items that speed up the game progress. I have gone up against many good killers and will go out of my way to defend them from toxic survivors who spam flashlight taunts post game chat and congratulate them for even trying with a character but damn a lot of killers are starting to feel so entitled that the survivor just playing the game is an offense to them.
Honestly I agree with you, my post wasnt really meant to sound antagonistic. Too many players carry the bullshit from the last bad match into their next one, assuming their opponent(s) mean to completely ruin their day. And anyone who resorts to toxicity because the other side is simply playing well( getting pallet stuns as survivor, getting early downs as killer, etc) is a giant baby tbh. It creates crappy situations for those of us who play with a level head.
-
If you flipped this post to "survivors also have toxic survivors to blame for camping killers", there would be an uproar. Perpetuating this kind of mindset will just continue to breed bad blood on both sides.
Like do ya'll really get hard tunneled out of EVERY single match by some bully killer at 5 gens? I get a hard tunneler/camper about 1 out of 10 matches when I play survivor. Its often a poor strategy that will only net a kill or two.
-
I'm gonna be the weird one here and actually recommend avoiding exhaustion perks if you want to get better at chase. They can teach you poor habits and some of the others are too situational. A build I like is Windows of Oppurtunity, Iron Will, Spine Chill, and Resilience.
Windows tells me where to path and what pallets are still up. Iron Will prevents the killer from tracking me without line of sight and allows for some very sneaky plays. Spine Chill tells me when to start gaining some distance or to run and hide. Resilience just combos really well with spine chill for that extra vault speed. I also will run Quick and Quiet or Dance with me sometimes instead of the last two, which when combined with Iron Will can allow you to completely lose the killer with a single vault.
But yeah, it took me a while to get good at looping and it will probably take a good bit of practice for you too. Best of luck:)

Hell yeah, this guy actually wants to buff doctor let's go.

One thing I havent seen mentioned much is chasing survivors into other survivors. I always try to corral the survivor I'm chasing to where I suspect the other ones are. It's not always possible, but it's a good way to disrupt multiple survivors when it works.

They are fine because they are situational - and rare - items. The offerings for the hatch spawns have somewhat changed things though.
Idk man, I feel like that's basically the same as saying old moris were balanced because they were rare and situational, or because survivors don't need to escape everytime.
-
Hand it over... That thing... your medkit..
-
Took the oppurtunity this event to p3 ghostface and he's been my favorite killer to play lately. Being able to communicate with the survivors through t-bags is great. Cocky survivors bm'ing at every vault? T-bag them back. Got 2 kills and want to give the last two their crowns? Just t-bag at them.
He still suffers from the performance issues on console when activating his power, but it's bearable compared to killers with more active abilities.

Reason why I say GF is still playable is because it doesn't happen at a crucial moment like a deathslinger ads.
Personally I don't mind the freeze but I can understand why people would HATE it.
True, it's still miles better than playing anyone with a ranged/aim-based ability right now :(
-
I usually get a 1-2 second freeze just activating my power as Ghostface :(

pot meet kettle. This entire forum is a killer main support group. Who are you kidding?
Your obvious bait post above is far and away the highest voted comment in this thread.
Who is upvoting it? All the entitled killer mains flooding the forums?
-
As somebody who mostly lurks the forums from time to time, I see far more antagonistic posts from survivor-leaning players pushing the whole "entitled killer crybaby forums" narrative then I do actual entitled killer mains.
Anyways, I play a bit of both and I actually think the game is fairly well-balanced for what it is. But yeah, I play killer because static shock go brrrr and chainsaw sprint go vroom.
-
If a key gets found every now and then whatever but the drop rate needs to be fixed. Lately I've lost multiple games at 10 hooks with 2 gens left and 2 dead cuz the last two found a key and left through hatch. Even after I bring a cut coin offering...
The only way you can delude yourself into thinking the killer doesn't deserve the win in that scenario is by clinging onto ignorance and whataboutisms. Right now those keys are pretty much guaranteed, even with 1 chest on the whole map.
-
######### no.

Windows, Lithe, Kindred, and the 4th pretty much always changes to whatever I'm feeling.

Played 2 matches last night. Played a Bloody Party Streamer on both.
Match 1: 3/4 survivors bm'ing. I spread aggro and play fair. 4 man escape
Match 2: 3/4 survivors bm'ing. I'm still playing fair. 4k.
Yeah, I think I'm done. No more free hatch escapes, no more farming when half the team dc's, no more resetting pallets in front of me for the stupid Yui challenge. I'll proxy, tunnel, slug till they bleed out, whatever it takes.

As a console billy player I feel obligated to say billy, particularly another console one. I know their struggle all too well.
