  • When your about to be an 🍆 to others think to yourself what would the dude do?

  • Survivor main turned killer main here (mostly because my swf crew stopped playing). I certainly think the new movement looks goofier than before but I haven't noticed a difference in gameplay what so ever. Been playing the game a long time now at high ranks and have literally noticed no difference from then to now.

I suggest watching some videos and working on your gameplay. I think overall the devs are doing a wonderful job improving the game aside from a few issues with balance but that's to be expected in an asymmetrical game.

Spirit just needs to give the survivors some kind of feedback and make it slightly harder to track injured survivors during phase. Then she’d be okay to fight against

Iron will is a solid counter against spirit. I almost always use IW in my builds so I can loop killer use a little misdirection and boom by the time you've caught on I'm at the next loop. It takes a good bit of practice to properly track survivors with her its not as easy as you might think although Stridor certainly helps.

Against spirit to misdirect her use IW run in a direction leaving tracks. Then crouch walk the opposite direction when your certain she's chasing in the previous direction. Then after several seconds sprint to the next loop. Its actually fairly easy when you get the strat down. Wastes a ton of the killers time. Also putting pallets down then crawling over slowly and running the direction the killer just came from works well against spirit.

Its all about misdirection with spirit. I actually find it exciting to go against spirit I mained her for a while so I know what works against me when I play her. Play a ton of mindgames and switch them up as you condition the killer to your strategy be unpredictable. Practice makes perfect as cliche as that sounds also playing both killer and survivor at high level helps you learn the strats giving you a broader understanding of the playstyle.

  • I think it's an interesting idea. I'm not too impressed with the tourneys I've seen lot of boring gameplay granted theirs been some good matches too. I say mixing it up could be fun I'm all for the experiment I say sign me up TrU3! Now all I need is a team lol

  • That's the struggle of green ranks gotta push through that skill gap. Theirs a point when playing this game especially as killer where moving forward to the next skill brackets can be quiet difficult. It takes a lot of watching streamers and game time to break the skill ceiling. I remember that feeling you just cannot let it defeat you. Dont accept it keep pushing fight past it man! It can be done with patience and practice.

  • @thrawn3054 said:

Killer has never been easier. You complain survivors don't want a challenge. How much easier do they need to make killer?

Sure killers easier when compared to the days the entity wouldn't block windows. When their were far more pallets in the maps. Before bloodlust. Before DS and DH were introduced. I dont think you have a complete understanding of the game if you think playing killer at the top % is easy. I suggest hitting rank 1 with killer for a couple months and tell me its ez mode because it absolutely is not. It is far more complex and difficult than survivor so, dont pretend like it isnt. I prefer killer because it is the more difficult role and I enjoy it. I'm typically a rank 1 both sides and I can tell you without a doubt survivor is chill af compared to killer even solo I dont have much problem. I dont always escape but I will loop a killer for days, get altruism, and hit gens and still pip. It's not hard.

  • @lowiq said:

Then don't buy it. Nobody is forcing you?

I dont think that's the point being conveyed here. It's not a ridiculous statement a skin being 15$ is a lot. I have to agree with that and I have a significant amount of money into skins in DbD. Obviously no ones holding a gun to your head saying you need to buy this right? I think it's fair to say the price of cosmetics could stand to go down a few bucks.

Every Twin I've gone against got a 4k. All they do is slug.

Its built into the characters strat. Wether it was intentional or not its one of the strongest ways to play the killer if your at high ranks. Using a character's strengths to their fullest just makes sense. People dont like it when I use Infectious when I'm playing Meyers and I slug to take full advantage of the T3 because I see that IF scream. It's a good strat at high ranks so I use it. No point handicapping yourself against a solid team. Use the best strat always and give mercy when you see its appropriate if your hitting a bit to hard for the team your against.

Moris are stronger than keys so I’m glad they went first.

That's debatable when encountering high level squads with a lower tier killer. Just like keys though if the squads bad the keys only really useful to one player.

  • Gotcha. I do like the idea of Charlotte getting engaged and moving faster for a short time after victor is killed. Makes sense for the lore and the twins feel so weak some kind of buff is needed.

  • @DeliciousFood said:

Or go out of their way to stomp 3 v 1's (One DC's straight away, quite common).

You take this silly party game way too seriously. You don't have to let anyone go, but holy ######### at least give them a game. Most of the time it'll end up being people slugged to prevent saves so you can secure your ez pz win. Queues are bad, this game is imbalanced in so many ways, please just try to make this fun for everyone, including yourself.

If your definition of fun is absolute domination of those hopelessly under you then I do think this game isn't for you. There are other competitive games that reward you for having this kind of mindset.

Also, a strange remark, but it mostly tends to be Spirits, Freddy's and Huntresses that sweat the most in these situations. Not really telling of anything but that's been my experience.

When you see those early DC's or survivor's killing themselves on first hook you just have to accept that your going to most likely not survive. I always get more irritated with the survivors when this happens than the killer it's not their fault the survivors are weak minded and can't handle being outplayed. At that point I play my best and try to loop the best I can and make the killer sweat for the kill. I also try to get as many points as possible. It's also a good time to experiment with different strategies and tactics that would normally lose you a match at worst and waste time at best. I've actually escaped this scenario more times than you would think with sheer luck and good looping. Best advice accept the F'd match do your best to pip and move on to the next round.

  • @JustHeretoHaveFun said:

    I'm a Rank 11 killer.

I just played for an hour and a half and every single round had at least 2 red ranks, at least 1 purple rank, and if I was lucky, someone actually near my rank. It wasn't fun at all. I've been playing for like a month. I don't even have any characters to level 50 yet.

Not to mention they always seemed so pleased as punch to have an awful killer. The constant BM was so disheartening. I wasn't playing toxic. I avoided tunneling and camping, I didn't hit on hook, I didn't do anything but try to chase them off gens. But every single time was a million flashlight clicks, exit gate teabags, pallet teabags, etc.

I seriously don't understand. I'm new. Why am I being paired with these people? It wouldn't even be that bad if they would just take the win and leave, they're determined to drag the match out and make it hurt. It's not even a learning experience at this point.

To be clear, I'm not judging them for using certain perks or anything like that. I'm a firm believer that every perk is fair. But man, I'm just so annoyed.

    Sorry for the useless rant.

Highly suggest you watch notOtzdartva and Tru3Ta1ent to get some proper game sense and strats. Otherwise it just requires tons of practice and patience. My other best advice would be to just accept that you are most likely going to lose most matches. As you progress to higher ranks while your skills are developing you just have to accept the losses and try to learn from your mistakes as much as you can. It also helps when your understand the why and how you lost. I'm rank 1 both sides when I play consistently and I almost always know what I did to deserve the loss and accept it. Sometimes its certain maps against certain killers, the vault/pallet locations spawn back to back in really survivor sided ways. Remain patient, calm and keep practicing and you will be rank 1 before you know it ✌

After reading their lore it dawned on me that the killer was not made to match the lore. The fact that victor dying means nothing to charlotte contradicts the lore entirely. I agree that victor needed some changes in order to be a better power in general and better fit the lore.

I think that Victor should basically have a deep wounds timer in the sense that if you do not get him off in a certain amount of time you get downed. This would prevent kidnapping which currently makes latching on worthless.

And I also agree that victor dying should buff charlotte in some way. Exposed would be too much I believe since victor has such a low CD. I would prefer that they extend the CD on Victor regrowing and while he is on death CD, Charlotte enrages and gains movement speed or some other buff. That would make more sense with her lore and make killing victor riskier and more of a tactical choice.

It would also give charlotte more of a chance to use victor as a sentry because maybe a survivor wont want to immediately kick victor for fear of powering up charlotte. I am sad that these changes will never come to light because I think the twins are hands down the most interesting design of killer in the game but sadly also the most poorly implemented.

    What's CD stand for friend?

People do run those perks. It's not worth it. The problem isn't just finding totems.

I agree its definitely not worth running detectives hunch or small game. Any experienced player should know where to look as well as listen (which can save you precious time) for totems. Then just run meta perks to counter the extra potential time you'll be in the match due to ruin, undying, and time spent cleansing totems. Tbh some stronger squads against my weaker killers don't even cleanse totems they just rush and split the gens best they can and go. Lol

It's too easy they never learn the basic's to face against moderately good Survivor. It's too easy they never learn the most of the basics of the game. It's too easy they don't learn the loops. It's too easy they don't learn map layouts. It's too easy they don't remember Survivor perks. It's too easy they don't remember window spawns. It's too easy they don't know to mindgame.

It's too easy they have a poor opinion on changes needed in the game.

While experienced Killers that took the time to learn the game, ignore things like the forums because they know that if they don't speak up nothing will change to actually balance the game (balancing the game would make it harder for them) - since all the players that don't understand the actual game will keep providing poor information on the forums not understanding that they still need to learn the basics of the game. These Killers Camp and Tunnel in higher ranks, and ruin the game for everyone. Making all the players leave, and the matchmaking is so bad even new Survivors face them - making them leave too. This leaves BHVR with a problem not keeping players that want to play this game.

I'm rank 1 survivor and killer & I dont struggle with either (solo q or not as survivor) because I have a complex full understanding of the game from playing at high ranks on both sides. A wise man once said "got gud skrub"

  • @MissTea91 said:

I'm finding more and more that I am getting put into matches with red rank killers (usually rank 1 or 2) when I myself am only a rank 7 survivor. Because their gameplay is so much more advanced than mine, I'm finding it really unenjoyable (it's at a point where I wonder why I still actually play the game... and I think it's more because of the money I spent than the enjoyment I get from it!). Does anyone else feel like the matchmaking is completely out of whack, or am I just overreacting?

I completely understand your frustration and from my own experience I can say it is difficult to get past that threshold. Before I hit rank 1 both sides I experienced this same struggle. I decided I love this game, I love the dynamic, unique concept of Dbd and decided to "git gud" so to speak. I started watching streamers notOtzdartva and Tru3Tal3nt a few matches a day while brushing my teeth and other assorted things I could multitask at. I also watched ohTofu, PainReliever, and Noob3 how to videos which all have varying degrees of complex game knowledge. I kept at it practice, practice, and practiced. I learned that the best of the best Dbd players keep their heads cool and understand all matches cannot be won and dont let it affect you at the ego level (you really have to let the winning or even drawing every match go). Sometimes you get put in a certain map with a bad layout with a killer that excels in the map with dirty add ons or offering. When I realize that early in a match I instantly let go and accept I may lose horribly that round. As survivor too dont worry about your team if your solo you just have to understand you teammates will do things that make your head explode. The only person you can do anything about it yourself and you have to let everything else go. I can die as a survivor and still feel very accomplished if I ran the killer well, got saves, heals, and busted out gens. That said it takes time and patience to get to pass the threshold of purple to red ranks. Keep at it watch videos and accept the pain that's associated with being a Dbd player. Been playing for years and when I finally hit rank 1 both sides it was a damn good feeling. I hope this helps I wish you luck my fellow denizen!

I believe that exit gates need a small change, this being that the progress of opening the doors should reset when a survivor lets go (similar to totems). I feel that this could lead to a lot of benefit in the game, for one making endgame collapse a more significant game function. As it stands now, the endgame collapse might as well not even exist since survivors can just 99% doors creating no barrier between them and escaping. And even though killers can open doors themselves to force the endgame collapse, its usually a waste of time to do that and giving the survivors even more freedom when you could be chasing down another survivor. Making the door progress reset forces the survivors to make a huge decision for the endgame; either open the doors and force the collapse, or leave the doors closed to go for a last minute save but risk not being able to open the doors in time.

There are also many benefits that this change could have to the game and its meta. For one, it would enhance many perks like blood warden, remember me, wake up, and no one left behind. Blood warden would become better as in the endgame, survivors would be more inclined to open exit gates for not wanting to risk the long opening animation during a vital escape point. Wake up would become more viable as opening the exit gates faster would actually be important especially when going for last minute clutch saves. In addition, the bonus healing and rescue speeds from no one left behind could be more useful as opening the gates would be more incentivized. Remember me would also become better as having the exit gates take longer to open would incentivize the survivors to start the endgame collapse even during a dangerous point in the game.

Overall, making this small change to exit gates, I feel would make a significant impact on the gameplay in DBD. In addition, the only small drawback is that survivors would be forced to open the gates when someone is hooked in order to be able to go for an effective save causing the endgame collapse. However, those clutch saves would still be possible but it would put a lot more pressure on the survivors to make the move if they want the save. I would almost consider that another benefit considering that camping is a problem of its own. Consideration would be appreciated.

I like the idea and the time and thought you put in it. I have a few suggestions to make this work. I would make the gates regress similar to how gens regress after being kicked (without the kick obviously). It might be beneficial if it regressed faster the closer to open the gate is then as it gets closer to the bottom of the progress bar the regression would slow down. Maybe the gate resets or regresses after being untouched for x amount of time. Just spitballing ideas here but, I do believe were on to something here lol

  • Those are not easy killers to win with by any means. Your not helping your point friend lol When I hit a 2 pip or even close to a 2 pip (I say this because it's the best indicator of a win) with clown or trapper I have to sweat and make virtually no mistakes the whole round. They very much require skill and effort even the top tier killers do more or less.

If the matchmaking was actually good, I'd mostly likely agree with you. But when I (usually rank 4-6 when playing surv) have to lose chases to rank 20's (the ones that seem new) and have it heavily affect my rating, it almost always comes down to bloodlust. If I always matched with equivalent killers, it'd probably be less important. There's also the issues on tunneling and whatnot, so it is more the broader issue if how it helps killers who shouldn't be getting that assistance when a more skilled player is doing things right, only to be punished by something they can't control.

I pretty consistently get paired with people my level and it's been awhile since I've even seen a rank 20 killer. I do see the odd rank 20 survivor and I on average sit at rank 1 on both sides. I'm fairly confident I could almost infinitely loop and escape a rank 20 I imagine most of us from red to purple ranks could. Your team if not completely terrible should be busting gens while you loop the killer so I just still dont see how bloodlust is a game breaker. I'm not busting balls, insult anyone or anything. I'm just a huge DBD fan and have tons of hours in gameplay and watching the best of the best play and all I'm getting at is I don't see why bloodlust needs to be taken out.

killers don't need second chances or really need any effort tho tbh lol what

I can't think of any killer that requires no skill, effort or complex understanding of the game mechanics. What killers do you play? Only time I can think it requires little effort as killer is vs bad survivors. Dont see that much at my ranks though lol

  • @monster1125 said:

Also Im new here why does all of these posts on almost all of the posts seem so toxic with survivor vs killer toxicity. or is that just normal

Unfortunately its pretty much every thread on the forum is like this. Even if you politely explain your point while not putting anyone else's down. No matter what you do their will be toxic people replying with illogical bs. I chalk it up to that's just gamers for you best to just ignore it.

  • @duhffee said:

I've been seeing a lot of killer mains posting their annoyance about the lack of bloodlust this weekend and I only have one thing to say about that:

If you are experiencing survivors escaping more often this weekend and feel no bloodlust is the issue, you're finally seeing the skill-gap those particular survivors have compared to you.

Bloodlust is the equivalent of throwing GTA V's catch-up feature from races into a proper Forza race. It's a subtle crutch that gives killers an edge they wouldn't normally have, even when they're already faster.

If a survivor is getting away more, then they are ultimately outplaying you. There will always be small outliers, but claiming bloodlust is the difference maker is not a reasonable excuse.

Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk

That doesn't make much sense imo. No bloodlust=True skill? If your activating bloodlust even just a few times a match your already wasting too much time chasing one survivor and gens start flying. Against the high end players this means your most likely going to lose. Most "true skill" players already dont use it much anyways. The only place this might help is the median end survivors and that is most certainly not where the true skill players are anyways. As for new players I dont if it helps or not anyways since new survivors shouldn't be to difficult for a new killer to kill either. All that said I still think taking it out is a silly idea. If it's only activated once a match if that. How is it making that much of a difference anyways at the high end of play. It still has it's necessary moments though. Either way it just doesn't seem like it's making that much a difference. Just throwing my 2 cents in here for what its worth from someone who plays both sides at high ranks.

  • I buy cosmetics and the rift pass (if I like a good amount of skins in it and get to a high rift level) to support the game and look good in the process. I've been playing DbD since shortly around the end of year one been in love with it ever since despite all of its issues. I love how unique the game is and they have been putting in consistent work to try and make the game better(I also understand it's nearly impossible to truly balance an asymmetrical game so I don't let it ruin my fun) I support it and want to continue playing my favorite game. If you played in the early days you know this game has been in a much worse state than it is now (I have had to take breaks that's for sure) If to support that means forking over dough to look cool while I run killers in circles or am slaughtering survivors I'm absolutely fine with it. Dbd in all its flaws is still one of the absolute funest games out their imo. I love asymmetrical games since I first played Evolve. The fans and the dev's gave up on it and burned it to nothing within just a few years of release. As long as the dev's keep trying to improve the game I will keep showing BHVR love and support.

  • @piggypablo said:

Maybe 1 out of the 10 most recent games I've played, has the killer approached the exit gate. Even then, it was only with like 15 seconds left on the timer.

If I just got bulldozed and gates are open everyone's at gate. I immediately leave it because I know they just want to bag and click. More importantly it's less the gate gloating and more to destroy any unbroken pallets, breakable walls, and look for the hatch on the off chance they don't all leave at the same time. At that point it becomes a desperate grab for bp nothing else.

  • @Flawless_ said:

So basically since this combo is so prevalent I'm forced to always equip Small Game or DH. So in addition to being very oppressive you have no choice but to bring a totem perk every game if you're solo Q plus DS since everyone tunnels like crazy lately...that's some great balancing right there.

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1724833#Comment_1724833

You're telling me that every time you run this build survivors complete most if not all gens and two or more of them escape? Come on man. Unless you're swf most solo Q games are pulling teeth agains this combo + high mobility killer and everyone here knows that but doesn't like to admit it's extremely easy to win with these perks. Even if they're cleansed relatively early you will have enough momentum to carry a win if you have one braincell.

The same argument can be made with the meta survivor perks. I assume DS every match if I see an obsession so I slug if I down someone after a hook pull. I attempt to go after the unhooker because I always assume BT. I always wait for DH to go for a hit because I assume everyone has it unless something shows otherwise. Its not that big a game changer unless the whole teams using the meta loadout. They also have to be decent loopers and 2 or more. Also in swf that rush gens anytime your busy doing anything other than pushing survivors off gens. Then you've got a recipe for a begrudgingly frustrating match. Tbh at my mmr it's pretty much every match I see a combination of all these things. I think it truly balances it out though having powerful metas on both sides. You can win and lose with these loadouts they are not even close to a guaranteed win. Both sides metas have some amount of counter play but you have to actually be good to capitalize on the builds. I just truly believe it's about as balanced as you can get an asymmetrical 1v4 styled game. I still think it has issues regardless overall it's mostly balanced.

  • No one DCs when a killers doing bad. That's what bothers me. I just eat it when I have a bad match and eagerly await the next one hopeing it will be a better match.

  • @oxygen said:

It's only as boring as the tile it's happening on.

An actual tile with walls and a chance to trick the other player? A chance to learn how someone runs/chases throughout a match and counter that based on their habits? And a chance for them to throw you off by doing something unexpected? That's the most fun thing in the game if you ask me.

A trash heap Autohaven loop where all you basically do can do is hold W until the pallet goes down? Yeah that's pretty boring.

And theirs so many so close together 🤦‍♂️

  • I also believe just playing killer isnt enough sometimes. Playing at the top % is the true defining of what it means to play killer. Try your hardest to get the highest rank you can as killer. Once you see how brutal it can be at high ranks you really get an understanding of why killers play do dirty at times. It also helps you just overall get better at survivor too because you have a more whole and complex understanding of the overall mechanics. I play high rank both sides and it's made me a better player all around. I also get much less frustrated and angry when playing really stressful rounds. I think everyone should do if only to experience it and go back to your preferred side.

Not chasing them and going for someone else IS pressuring gens. They will be off of them and you progress someone ELSE'S death. Its simply more efficient to chases someone else.

I still disagree a hooked survivor and one going for the save is one of the best ways to apply pressure. They still have a trap to get off their head by that time your busy pressuring the next gen, downing the next survivor, putting a trap on their head ect. when their saved off the hook then they need healed also it's so much extra time off gens. Let's just agree to disagree then.

  • @hillbillyclaudmain69 said:

Commiting to chase a trapped survivor, active or not, isn't a very good idea. They will still be trying to get their traps off. You want to go to people on gens. That way you have a max of two people on gens.

I disagree 100%. Hooks a hook especially if their out positioned. If you just let them go it's a wasted opportunity to get someone to the next hook phase or out of the game altogether. Then you have 2 survivors off gens if someone goes for the save. I wouldn't go out of my way to chase someone with a RBT if at a strong loop or if I really need to press gens. To just let a survivor just go free if you dont have any info on where to go next or have another target nearby take the hook it's worth. If survivor's make a mistake I capitalize. Better chance of their trap being activated to in the time it takes them to get unhooked. By that time I'm usually working on that next hook. I have a pretty good success rate with her and I play at top ranks. I understand your position though I just think it's to black and white to say you should never go after someone with a RBT their are certainly situations its the best option.

I don't understand people who go for trapped survivors. Its literally counterproductive.

If it's an active trap sure I let em run but if its not active you deny yourself momentum and opportunity to capitalize. 1 on hook 1 saving someone off the hook is time not on gens. Gives you more time to track down the next victim.

While the complaints around PH's ability to zone with his power and most PH players reluctance to actually use the power were valid, I feel like the devs completely missed the point as to why PH players mostly fake it.

I'm not faking the power because it's too punishing to miss. That's certainly part of it, but the bigger issue is that there's way too much of a telegraph on it and there's not enough flick on it. You can't hit anybody good with it unless they're animation locked or in a choke point. It's a very low percentage power. The survivor only needs to move perpendicular for one or two steps to avoid the attack and PH can't rotate fast enough to compensate.

You can reduce the cooldown on misses all you want, but that's not what is causing me to avoid using the ranged attack. It will always be less efficient to use the attack repeatedly and miss. All the survivor has to do is look at you and stay on your shoulder. They missed the point.

I definitely dont think it was the right change for him. If you can't land the punishment and you can't fake it out to get an m1 it makes it far to situational and inconsistent. I mained him for about a month and the way he was you still had a hard time landing hits against good survivor's but it could be done even without animation lock. I'm guessing to many on the lower end of the skill spectrum complained because if your not very good at the game he could seem insanely OP. Well definitely have to see how he plays but I just don't feel like this was the right change for him. Their where so many other ways to go about tweaking his ability for the good of both sides.

    1) Killers don't run those perks at high levels because they are bad.

    2) Ok

    3) Doesn't matter at high level play which is what we are talking about

    4) Doesn't matter at high level play, typically a survivor jumps into a locker when the killer gets close. Or they run UB.

Agreed the downsides are so minor it's almost irrelevant. Those of us that play both sides at high rank 1k+ hours get it. That said I'll still be using the meta for both sides. Can't keep me down. 🤘

  • God the illogic of these posts and the follow ups is so unreal! 🤦‍♂️

It's braindead because everything about the build is free. Told which gens to pressure while given a stealth function with it. Told where survivors are and if they're busy on totems.

And i'm not pointing out this build because I struggle with it. It's me pointing out the new braindead meta pretty much every players is using on every killer now; but particularly high mobility ones.

It's the same tired argument but it's still valid. I get tired of seeing and using BT, DS, DH, and insert other meta perk of your choice here. That said it's a solid build for high rank play. You see this build on the majority of survivors at high rank because its a consistent solid build. You won't hear me complain though I play both sides I understand the why behind it.

    Ruin + Undying + Tinkerer

Slap this on a killer, particularly a high mobility one, and you got yourself the most boosted player you will ever see.

These players do not know what pressure is to save their life. You can feed their build and try to cleanse totems to get rid of their perks, or you can just get a gen high progressed and lead them away, go back to it when they leave you (because they will) and bam, the player is exposed as the bot they are. The fact this is a build to vs almost every game is ridiculous. The calibre of player skill level in dbd is utter garbage XD this builds proves it to be that way.

Im guessing you don't play killer much at high mmr if at all.

  • That the survivor's role. If you have a half competent team. When me and my friends gen rush rank 1s their still so helpless even when they make consistent reads and good plays. Why shouldn't killer be the power role?

Since the most recent update 9/15/20 almost every match I play and as any killer. Several times a match when I attempt to hook a survivor I just glitch all around the hook. I either have to drop the survivor or often if the hook is far away they end up wiggling free as I spam the button. I come at it from different angles and speeds. It appears to happen randomly to any survivor on any map. Its approximately 1/5-1/4 hooks I attempt. I play at high ranks and this is absolutely game breaking. I am taking a break until this is fixed. I dont play enough survivor anymore since my crew more or less disbanded. Sorry but I won't be playing or spending until this is fixed. Its far to frustrating and utterly broken.

Randomly since the initial update that included The Blight. I cannot hear grunts of pain or footsteps of injured survivors (I check to make sure it wasn't just Iron Will) . It could be against anybody but I've noticed it on Meg, Nea, Feng, Jeff, Jake, Quentin, and Claudette. This happens to me every other game or so possibly 1/3.

    Any Map

    Happens 11:00pm-1:00am Pacific

I only played against Spirit in all my games tonight. Maybe because we can't use DS against her like some killers ?

I don't play Ash. But I want to play him when I saw many killers abusing of bugs.

Why can't you use DS against her? I pull her out if I start getting bullied. I'll use someone else though if she's bugged. I suppose I could just slug and wait the 60 sec like I usually do anyway. 😁

Its funny hoq many people are "No I'm gonna play him"

If a killer had a bug where he was 20% faster and instadowned on every hit you would castrated and burned at the stake for even thinking of playing them

This is too true. For even just saying that you might be lynched. 😅

  • The cannot hook bug is not rare for me it's about 1/5 hooks I can't hook. I'm getting more lag than I've ever had and everything on my side of connection appears fine. I'm seeing a silent survivor or 2 in every match which is just free iron will. It's made the game unplayable for me as killer. I'm taking a good long break from DBD before it loses all of its magic for me. I just can't hang with game breaking bugs .

  • Just played my first two matches with him and I can say pip or no pip hes got to be one of the funest killers to play. Intense chase music, fun play dynamics that reward you for good reads and strategy. I can only imagine once I get some more time into him how intense matches will be. I just hope the devs don't decide to mess with him to much. I haven't played against him yet so, I have to judge from both sides before I make a final verdict. Either way amazingly entertaining playstyle and very skillful to play things I personally enjoy in a killer.

LOL I'm gonna use Ash just cause of this post. Imagine telling people they can't use any of the killers that have the DS bug right now/any other bug. Wouldn't that be silly?

I'll still wait my 60 sec...

  • @Aldofer said:

wait already, i didn't even buy the silent dlc lol

Highly recommend PH! Absolutely BA killer fun to play strong power once you learn the ins and outs of it. Cheryl Mason has a couple decent perks too.

I always wanted to play michael since i grew up watching holloween, but after i hit level 40 on him i got kinda fizzled out on him. So ive actually picked up bubba and demogorgan recently after the rework.

Bubba is my go to now, i usually play huntress, so it feels weird not zoning survivors and more often than not ill lose to a really good 4 man. But its just fun to chainsaw sprint at people. Only downside is that im learning a new way to run tiles now, so its taking time to figure it put. On the other hand i dont use PWYF or Nemesis, so its my own fault. But i like for everyone to have fun

I'm all about the pwyf nemesis build it's so good

  • Also never played Wraith and recently have been playing him a lot. Very difficult killer to play but tons of fun. Ding-Dong MFs!!!

  • I tried Bubba a few times before rework. Hated it didn't play him for a long time. The rework came out and I love playing Bubba now. He's still difficult to play without the best addons against high mmr. He is so satisfying to play though I can't get enough. He's my favorite atm.
