  • If they were going to die anyway then them dcing is a kindness to the other survivors since it gives them points. At that point it is the same game except that person screwed him/herself out of points.

  • Wooo I get an entire thread about me!!!!

  • Not a surv main but I dabble and the killer I find most annoying to go against is the Doc simply because once you get any level of madness, you will always have minimum madness 1 which can mess with your skill checks. Also freddy because having to constantly wake up. As a killer, the most annoying killer for me to play that I actually like playing is the Clown and it is all because I cant help but think that instead of a smoker's hacking cough after every hit that I wish he had a Krusty the Klown esque laugh. Also his chase music should be distorted big top circus music.

I don't have much care for my rank. Imo opinion rank doesn't really show skill it shows how much you play. Some rank ones barely know to look out for trapper traps while some can frikkin body you in chase. It's mainly the people that make it unfun to learn new things. I'm trying to learn someone knew and it's very apparent, yet they're taking it as a chance to be a holes.

Yeah that can be rough. I know how it is when a survivor team smells weakness they make it their life goal to ruin that killer's day. For some reason, your decision to play killer offends them to their very core and you don't deserve respect because of it. Unfortunately the only advice I can give against that is you just have to keep in mind that you are there to learn your character and if they are being jerks, that is their problem and not yours. Keep grinding the practice and eventually you will start to get better but it will not be a pleasant journey. Wish I could give some more sunny optimism but this game is not designed for that :(

The only time I get to play is late from like 10 pm to 1am (I go to sleep at 1) so my ONE friend who plays this game, who is a rank 20ish survivor, is sleeping.

The only time I've had a fun time learning a new killer was when a team I went against realized I had no clue what I was doing, so they let it one gen and gave me some practice. This was with nurse as well. Most people are NOT like that at all. So I'm stuck with 30 games where I'm getting bullied and getting maybe 1 chase worth of practice cause they slam gens

The sucky thing is that you will have a terrible time learning a new killer in any rank higher than low green. My advice is to not care about the rank and just play who you want. If you want to really work on a certain killer, for example the nurse, then just do the entire game not necessarily going for kills but just learning your limitations with them. Learn your blink distances, learn what you can and cant blink through, things like that. Many people may disagree with me but I truly believe that the best mentality to have when learning a new killer is to go into a game knowing you will lose. If you go in knowing for a fact that you will not win, then you don't have to try and push yourself to get that win. Just focus on learning the killer and you will be fine.

  • Unfortunately this game is not designed to encourage people to learn new tricks once you reach a certain rank. If you are going for the rank 1 achievement then yeah keep grinding with the characters you know. If you want to learn new killers and have fun, then you have to not care about your rank. I found that I enjoy this game so much more now that I don't care about my pips per match (but I also got my rank 1 achievement a couple months ago so I guess it might be easier for me not to care).

  • As a 90 percent solo player, I feel like killer is the way to go if you are just playing the game for fun and not just for the W. Now I understand that different people have different ideas of what a win means in this game as both killer and survivor but for the purposes of this post I will assume that the W is 3/4 survivors dead minimum. If you are playing to go hard and get those wins then killer is by far the more stressful option because as has been stated many times in this forum, 1 mistake as killer can cost you as lot more than a mistake as survivor in the high ranks.

Conversely, if you just want to play the game in a very chill fashion and not worry about wins or whatnot, then killer is by far the less stressful option. I say this because when you are playing just to have fun then you control all aspects of the match. If you don't care if the gens get rushed then you can do whatever you want and control your own gameplay experience. If you want to play for just fun as a survivor, you can't guarantee that your teammates will be cooperative nor can you guarantee that the killer wont be toxic. Playing casually for fun as a killer means that even if the survivors stomp you, it doesn't have to affect you.

TL:DR If you want to just chill and play for fun, killer is way to go imo.

  • I know we already have the clown and people talkin about Pennywise for a choice but I gotta give a shoutout to my boy The Terrifier from the 2016 movie of the same name. If you have not seen this masterpiece then please do yourself a favor and watch it. Either him or a tornado made of sharks, either one works.

  • After reading their lore it dawned on me that the killer was not made to match the lore. The fact that victor dying means nothing to charlotte contradicts the lore entirely. I agree that victor needed some changes in order to be a better power in general and better fit the lore.

I think that Victor should basically have a deep wounds timer in the sense that if you do not get him off in a certain amount of time you get downed. This would prevent kidnapping which currently makes latching on worthless.

And I also agree that victor dying should buff charlotte in some way. Exposed would be too much I believe since victor has such a low CD. I would prefer that they extend the CD on Victor regrowing and while he is on death CD, Charlotte enrages and gains movement speed or some other buff. That would make more sense with her lore and make killing victor riskier and more of a tactical choice.

It would also give charlotte more of a chance to use victor as a sentry because maybe a survivor wont want to immediately kick victor for fear of powering up charlotte. I am sad that these changes will never come to light because I think the twins are hands down the most interesting design of killer in the game but sadly also the most poorly implemented.

    his vaulting is the worst.

I don't have that many issues in general, but I would appreciate if demoboy didn't scream so loud after hits.

TBH the demo scream is one of my favorite noises in this game. Now if only clown could have a Krusty the Klown laugh after every hit and his chase music was creepy distorted big top circus music...

  • I guess they can be a little loud. The only sound I have an issue with is the Clown's heavy panting...

We weren't hiding. We let the killer see us but he didn't chase us because he knew we would take him away from the 3 gen.

Sorry, but I'm not going to do a gen in a killers face so he can down me for free. Of he wanted to chase us he could have.

By that logic, why would the killer go and only chase 1 of you so the other 3 could do gens in his face? your flawed logic applies to him as well. You can justify it all you want but you are the ones who failed to do your job when the job got hard and you tried to blame the killer because he was doing his job. Your group got yourself 3 genned and then you refused to play the game anymore until the killer gave up and let you win. Entitled survivors to the max

  • Not tunneling if I try and go after the savior survivor and 30 seconds later the recently unhooked survivor potatos their way right in my path. You can't write off bad survivor gameplay as the killer tunneling you. If you get unhooked and the killer chases the person who saved you, run TF away from the killer.

  • Personally, I never use a mori until they are on death hook. I love the Mori animations but I also see that they can be seen as unfair to that 1 person who gets effed by it. I know I am probably a minority but sometimes I get bored of the spider demon taking my sacrifices from me and I just want to rip out a tongue and beat you to death... but only if you were on death hook anyway :)

  • Unless the devs make it to where survivor crouching is on CD like Pig's (which they wont because then stealth for survivors gets heavy nerfed), or make it to where if you crouch too many times too fast you get knocked down 1 health state (call it blowing out your knees or something) then there is no way to prevent people from being toxic. Unfortunately, game devs cannot code out human trash behavior...

Is it going to get fixed with the new patch or something?

Devs have said they are working to implement MMR for a hit minute so at the moment best bet is to just power through the suck that is current matchmaking... that or derank down to brown and hope for the best if you are trying to learn new killers

  • If it is along the lines of someone that people ask for but don't really expect then I would say the FNAFimatronics.

If you are referring to the die hard people who always asked for steve unironically and held out hope against hope he would be in.... then I would say an equivalent would be Candyman. He has a hardcore group that wants him in but knows that it is a long shot. Jason is more of a shortshot since his game is literally shot. Candyman would be that out of left field BWAAAAAAH character imo and I would love it!

  • I like to look for some of the smaller streamers to see how they are when they play. I like people that even though they have a small audience they are still having fun with what few people are in their chat. Also I love it when they are positive even in utter defeat. People like MrCaligari, RespawnShawn, NoedFred are some smaller ones I follow.
