Every game is a DC, someone killing themselves on first hook or a face camping bubba.
What on earth are you doing putting me with these people, I'm waiting 10mins for a game to be over in 3mins.
congrats!
you made it to high mmr!

they don't even ban for cheating as long as you don't play killer. that includes joining a survivor lobby as a killer

i only said that for the unban themselves part, i've never seen a single cheater unban themselves and if you've seen cheaters doing that give me some proof
you wish ๐

Usually how that goes. Your opinions and concerns about my gameplay realllllly mean a lot to me.
you made a post about it on the forums.
i'm sure they didn't

Whether they're my opponent or my teammate, the fact that they BM the killer cheapens any skill that they had. Instead of being humbled by being the power role, they're emboldened by it and use it to bully. People who are good at the game, or who are good sports, don't rub it in their opponent's face when they win.
this isn't true at all, plenty of good athletes are horrible winners and losers
-
they're reworking dead hard and haddonfield to make survivors happy

What is there to be afraid of? BHVR might ban them in a few weeks and they'll turn around and start up their couple dozen other free Epic Accounts or pay under $5 to get a new hacker account and be able to run around rampant for another few weeks until that account finally gets banned and they'll turn around and...
you don't need to spend 5 dollars at all. you can make infinite accoutns and even unban them

Are you sure the game really was more fun back then bc of it's state and not nostalgia?
Not trying to be snarky, I have fond memories of when I started playing/earlier days when I was newer too.
If you took current DBD minus MMR and I guess Boons, is it really so bad? Also not playing devils advocate for either of those things.
it absolutely wasn't, just ask any of these guys what made the game better to them and you'll understand who you're dealing with
-
you don't get it, they're honestly unable to make the game decent.
they're not competent enough and the game losing players won't change that
-
hackers can unban themselves and make infinite free accounts. give up
-
no, it is a bad perk and i've never seen actually good killers running it
flashlights are useless and you shouldn't need perks at all against people who bring them anyway, since they won't do gens.
feel free to disagree, bad killers are always welcome anyway ๐

15k and lightborn
i can see what kind of player you may be

ok, competitive
ok csgo

Yeah because you can control the rng of the totem spawns that 90% spawn right in front of the survivors.
that's the whole point of why he said that, genius
btw that never actually happens
-
i even used to feel cheated when the killer wouldn't tunnel when it was optimal on purpose. the game is just badly designed, nothing new
-
yes, it's ridiculous that survivors basically have to run that perk to stand a chance and win against top tier killers. nerfing it would 100% break the game
-
this guy is leaving with a penalty

If game has 10 minutes que on ONE SIDE, it just shows how broken balancing is or how bad that side of attitudes are.
this crap again ๐
you should actually try and play survivor, but it's reasonable to find solo too frustrating

@Gamedozer7 said:
Cheating has a clear definition
The definition is "act dishonestly or unfairly in order to gain an advantage, especially in a game or examination"
Looking down to avoid collision was an intended mechanic by design so its not Cheating in anyway shape or for you just don't like that he can do it.
you're wrong. maclean recently stated it's a bug.
hopefully it'll get fixed so you actually need to learn to play

Yeah, but it wastes more of the guilty survivor's time if you just camp them, and then they still get to go to a twenty minute queue afterwards. Plus it's rewarding, and all the survivors who escape afterwards still feel like they get something out of it.
you so so wish queues were anything but instant for most people. i can't even do my bloodweb
-
basement shouldn't exist.
-
on a good day i dodge anything that isn't bubba or trickster but these days i'm also staying against blights, especially if they're running full gen builds
-
i thought this forum was itself was proof enough. or literally any place where people "discuss" dbd
-
subtle cheating? you can easily outrun the hillbilly with cheats
-
this is fine but stretched isn't ๐

Been encountering it for the past 2 days. Non injured survivors teleporting to dodge attacks. When I made this post, same thing except with an instant blind flashlight. Yet no perks or add ons on the character in question. Guess it's not as common in low MMR.
that is correct. people often assume you wouldn't be able to make it to high mmr as a cheater but it's actually almost inevitable.
that's not true for cheating killers though, they get banned. i suspect it has nothing to do with the fact that you get more reports (even survivors are very likely to report cheating survivors) and much to do with how the game works
-
@fulltonon said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2819358#Comment_2819358
Probably because it's much less obvious and you can't report them with confidence, and very unlikely to get banned too.
you're only wasting your time by reporting them, even if they do something blatant and admit it multiple times in the chat.
this is only true for survivors though, they seem to ban you pretty fast if you actively cheat as a killer. not that it matters when you can literally unban yourself for free (no i'm not gonna link anything).
i honestly don't know who would feel the need to be subtle when there are absolutely no consequences for cheating.
also you'd be surprised to see how many survivors actually don't wanna deal with cheaters on their side, even when they're being facecamped by an insidious bubba. go figure
-
auto dead hard? really?
of all the cheats you get with a hacked client that's the one you're the most concerned with?
with all the ways this game can be broken and turned upside down you think they should focus on fixing that specific issue?
or is it just you trying to make an excuse for everytime you got outplayed? because that's what i think this is
-
because the people who play killer aren't well in the head and play this as a competitive game, while survivors are more laidback
-
old undying won you games and was seen in tournaments. boons are just a meme
-
not really, but the same is also true for killer

Lol surprise surprise. Made any new "nerf the blight" posts of your own this week?
He's only dangerous in super talented hands... Average blight players make a fun match. Even a good blight that mows down people is fun to play against. He's one of the few killers that don't tilt me even if they beat me easily because it's still a change from the usual tile to tile chase style. But he's not OP try playing as him... He's hard to master.
Have you ever played against a god tier nurse? That's WAY more OP but I still don't complain because I know only like 2% of nurses are that good. And they spent thousands of hours getting that good. It's almost a cool feeling to get one because they're so rare.
Blight is similar in skill scale (but slightly higher ratio of great players but also far less unbeatable than a great nurse).
So the morale of the story is: instead of constantly trying to get killers nerfed that spent tons of hours becoming good with them, learn from their direction and get better through practice. If the only presence you make here is asking the devs to make the game easier for you instead of getting better then maybe play a single player game that has difficulty settings.
i dare anyone to read this wall of text
-
and i'm assuming you also think it's only true for killers right? this wouldn't make any sense if it was also true for survivors, since it couldn't be true for both
not that it makes any sense to begin with
-
@ThiccBudhha said:
The incentive to play killer is that this is a killer sided game. Just as anyone who plays survivor and they will tell you!
said the killer main

You can tell if the Survivor is staring at his feet while he hides around walls.
hello? ghostface can't even be stalked when you're staring at him on an open field. stretched resolution my ass
-
lol stretched did absolutely nothing for survivors in most cases.
even in that one image people always used for comparisons you could still very well see the killer by just angling your camera right. same think for most unsafe loops really.
what was really broken was stretched res nurse, so i'm glad it's gone

Well, if they nerf him, I am probably gone. He is the only killer I can tolerate against good survivors. Do not get me wrong, I can play any killer against average survivors, but just knowing that I would need to learn Nurse or Blight to have a chance? Nah. Screw that. They can enjoy their dimishing playerbase if they actually decide go cater to those clowns.
you don't win against good survivors with leatherface
-
@Hannacia said:
Its just in my opinion survivor MMR should not be based on escapes. Many urban evasioners and hiders escape because they don't do anything while the ones that do stuff die because we dont crouch at every bush possible.
Then you get them to matches where they should not be...and again they hide the whole match and some killers find that cute and let them go letting them get even higher on mmr.
it doesn't work like that, no one escapes if even one person is being useless. if you're bad at looping and you don't do gens you don't make it to high mmr at all

This is why i'm saying they're subtle when cheating, you cant tell if they're cheating or not,but when you see a survivor/killer,winning 100% of mindgames you start to wonder,or when they're always ahead of you in a chase even when you should get distance on them.
if it makes you feel any better there's really not much of a point in subtle cheating when you can get away with insanely demonic stuff for weeks before getting banned and it's not like bans are gonna cost a cheater anything with all the ways you can play around them for free.
the perk bond is usually a red flag, but it doesn't necessarily mean the person is cheating, nor it's absolutely required for speedhacks and wallhacks
-
people actually use all killers, even at max mmr
-
yesterday, really.
they're not even that rare, i see one almost everyday
