Fired Up is useless as is unless you combine with a second perk. Make Fired Up basekit for the weaker killers?? As the gens get done the killer gets faster… Because… They’re losing! In any movie the killer grows more aggressive, and faster as the survivors manage to escape them. This would also punish “Gen Rushing”. The killer would grow fast enough to destroy everything in a certain area quickl16 comments 202 views last activity

Pinhead has a new Perk called “Scourge Hook: Gift of Pain” where by hooking the survivor on a particular hook afflicts survivors with a penalty after being unhooked, and then again when they’re healed. The effect persists until they are injured again. Scourge Hooks should’ve been a thing since the beginning. Even before implementing totems! Even during Halloween and Blight event special hooks w2 comments 111 views last activity

Please update the Nurse. Make Plaid Flannel basekit. I play on console so her blinks are rather more difficult. I don’t mind this difficulty at all. What I DONT MIND is that you can’t tell if she’s going up/down a floor. Survivors abuse this fully. They’ll take you right to killer shed. She’ll blink right into the basement in an attempt to get precise blink. Then she is unable to blink back up… U36 comments 691 views last activity

I have no issues with tunneling, but I do feel a perk should exist to counter it. I suggested it in another post, but I’ll make an OP here. Fight or Flight: “If you’re in a chase with the killer for more than 30 seconds without losing a health state Fight or Flight activates. Giving the survivor 14% Haste effect until the chase ends”. That way survivors must give up a perk slot to use this sit53 comments 551 views last activity

Because of the old TV scene what immediately came to my mind was “Poltergeist” when the little girl stares at the TV and says “They’re heeeeere!”. I got a good feeling it’s “The Beast” from Poltergeist! That white phantom monster. I’d be surprised if it wasn’t. I remember watching that movie with my parents. My parents said it came out in the 80s before I had been born, and the TV shows the time24 comments 101 views last activity

Personally I like chasing, and bullying the obsession. As killer I often tunnel/camp them too. Don’t hate me haha. My mentality is if survivors can get 2-3 gens done in 2 minutes someone should be DEAD in 2 minutes. Simple. Now, to the actual discussion. BUFF OBSESSION PERKS. Furtive Chase: Each time you hook the obsession gain a token. While in a chase with a survivor your TR is reduced by 255 comments 101 views last activity

The build sounds crazy. I used it before with little luck, but now that Trickster has EVEN LESS KNIVES I feel this is exactly what he needs right now... I was fussy about how slow this killer is, and my brother suggested this combination. Once I equipped it I won all my matches. Due to his knife quantity nerf he literally has to conserve all his knives until after he puts players into the injured4 comments 131 views last activity

I remember something somewhere saying the 29th. I woke up and saw no glowing blood point symbol. I turned the game off and went back to bed (LOL). People are saying don’t hide cakes, but it’s likely because the wiser players are hoarding their yummy cakes for the upcoming Bloodhunt. I’m about to pump all kinds of points into the killers to get dozens of their broken add ons, and prestiges as well7 comments 91 views last activity

So I played a couple of matches last night with various killers. The other night was Trickster night, and playing with him can be REALLY Annoying. Handicapped Huntress. My last match was on the The Game (Pallet Town), ideally the worst map. Fortunately I managed to run Agitation/IG to carry and deal with the team that round. As always one complained due to being tunneled despite having DS, Unbrea17 comments 421 views last activity

First. Why is name The Trickster why not name him “The Showstopper”? Since that’s what he did. He stopped everyone’s show by killing them at the concert. Second. Name his power “Trick Blades” because that’s what his knives are. He mesmerizes you with his blades that seem to glow incandescently. Third. Redo his power. It’s the same as Huntress, but considerably weaker! Taking him multiple hits t3 comments 51 views last activity

I’ve only played for maybe a 100+ hours, but I’m a natural gamer. So I see the ins and outs of a game. The way DBD is now is just ridiculous. I think this is an absolutely crazy, but hear me out first… Killer Perspective: Unless you play this game for a billion hours you’ll never catch a good player let alone a SWF as killer. It’s very discouraging, especially for new killers! In the time it ta25 comments 191 views last activity

Anyone remember Dren? The animal/human hybrid from Splice? Maybe they should put her/him into this game. Dren starts the trial female, but as the trial prolongs she eventually mutates into her male form. Becoming OP. So the strategy is to get out as fast as possible before Dren takes its final form. Other than that Dren starts off attempting to sting you with her tail mid ranged. Her stinger po5 comments 22 views last activity

Isn’t it tiring to grind for perks on killers and survivors as is? Can the devs update the web so that when you learn a perk you can select to level it up right then and there for the points in the same way at Lv.50 you can prestige? In exchange you pay double BP per Tier. Then you can also roll the perk slot for another perk of the same Tier after learning it. Example 1: You see Discordance. Yo4 comments 71 views last activity

People keep complaining about SWF, but what I learned from playing against them in the short span of time is... Their communication cuts the time it takes for them to achieve any objective. From heals, gens, and the biggest one. TOTEMS. Totems are the ONLY feature in the game that even remotely makes a killer viable against 4 survivors... Killers need totems on the field imo because it takes sur2 comments 61 views last activity

I was using The Trickster last night. He didn’t have perks at first so I was having a hard time. Then Infectious Fright appeared on the wheel... Once I learned that I finally started to have a lot a fun with him using this combo. You think because of his smaller TR that this wouldn’t work well, but it actually does. Having a larger TR simply makes it more powerful. IF makes anyone in your TR scre0 comments 261 views last activity

Whenever I’m killer the players can be across platforms and will coordinate. They’ll execute everything perfectly, DH every time, do altruistic wacky saves, and land flashlights from afar every time. If they’re downed under a pallet someone zips across the whole map to slam it the moment you pick up. If I camp they gen rush. Them moment I walk away they save and two gens go off. All I do now is run Appraisal and Plunderers with two perks of my choice. Since 4 good perks aren’t even necessary. Imo you only need maybe 1 or 2 meta perks tops, and then two of whatever you want. So whenever my random team flops and I have no chances of escape I MIGHT have another option of escaping. I only really search at the very start when I see a chest, or when everyone starts dying. To balance this game survivors shouldn’t be able to team up in Survivor Mode. It simply isn’t fair for the killer. It’ll never be fair for the killer this way. Custom Mode should allow people who simply want to play the game to play. Allow us to matchmake with other players in Custom Mode. That way players and killers can experiment with all the perks, items, offerings, and add ons. Either to tr10 comments 91 views last activity

Why is it that I’m a Rank 4 playing with my friend (Rank 7) paired up with two random Rank 16s against a Rank 1 killer? Like seriously the other two got slaughtered in 5 seconds. Then we ended up dying... Whenever I play killer all the random survivors know what they’re doing. They know how to juke, when to save, how to find each other to heal, etc. The moment I’m survivor I get lemmings and po3 comments 21 views last activity

I mean I play on PS4, so it’s a bit different from PC but now that I see PC players... I’m starting not to enjoy killer anymore... Not because they beat me. I have more of a fair time fighting PC players, but because their skill shows. So much so you see PC players with a variety of builds. So the main reason...? Well..! I realized survivors have a wider variety of builds and everything else th0 comments 11 views last activity

The Entity will create a 24, 30, 36 diameter ring from the completed generator in which the survivors cannot step out of for the next 10, 15, 20 seconds. That way the killer can actually punish the survivors that finished a generator if they make it in time. Imagine seeing the large dark circle all around the area. The Clown’s intoxication should be reworked entirely. The balance would be making his intoxication stack like The Doctor’s madness and The Plague’s sickness. Each tonic makes you progressively weaker. The first hit makes you oblivious to him. The second blurs your vision. The third removes the your ability to drop pallets. The fourth makes you stop from moving almost entirely as you’re coughing n0 comments 41 views last activity

Man! After putting this on Doc I haven’t had an issue since. All players do is try to abuse auto assist as they make their way to a vault/pallet. They hope that the game messes up the trajectory of your swings; However, I noticed the quick recovery from Unrelenting mitigates this significantly! Even if they made me miss or hit something I recover fast enough to either catch up, or hit them anyway7 comments 151 views last activity

Now here me out. I you ever watched the movie “Mimic” you’d understand why I’d say this. Maybe it was brought up before, but I’m new here. The Mimic would have two main forms/abilities. The Mimic form, and the Judas Breed (True) Form. 1.) The Mimic Form/Mimicry: The Mimic starts off appearing as a tall humanoid in a what appears to be a trench coat. I’m starting to see why people don’t play killer, and why my rank 4-5 killer only fights 1-4... This hame has too many integral flaws that makes the game infuriating. All the player has to do is sit next to something and then jiggle or flick their remote really fast. It’ll likely make the killer’s lunge hit whatever is next to them. I’ve seen lunges go half way and then stop, allowing the survi3 comments 61 views last activity

Survivors can only point, and wave at each other to come close. Don’t you think they’d be able to call out for each other in order to unite? Even if they’re risking to remain quiet as possible? We know that’s a lie because players constantly make noises on purpose via rushed actions sometimes. I think devs should disable comms somehow and add a new feature that enables survivors to call out for12 comments 191 views last activity

I dunno what happened with this last patch but afterwards I’ve been having a harder time hitting with the Nurse on PS4. Read please before bashing. I pretty much know how to blink with her on console by now. It’s REALLY difficult I know. My issue is that the Nurse can’t blink through certain spots, and this game doesn’t tell you! You waste a blink and you waste more of your precious time. The p28 comments 1,121 views last activity

What I learned/know: It takes a lot of skill to survive, and it takes a lot of skill to kill everyone. There are issues in this game where people often bicker about. Normally survivors troll and then complain when they lose. Killers make themselves OP for as long as it gets them their 4K. However, the balance in this game in terms of survivor/killer rests in two areas (IMO). What should be chang3 comments 41 views last activity

So I started to play killer more like everyone asked. It is fun. My only complaints are: 1.) When you face a team of DS it’s annoying. They’ll either waste your time mid-match with it by performing miracle stunts to escape otherwise impossible situations, or use it in the end to guarantee their escape. They’ll crawl out the escape. The later is what should be fixed. Like DS should work only when8 comments 61 views last activity

So I’ve been getting back into being the killer because I had stopped after some time. I was enjoying Pig, and pre-patch Doctor. Now I added the Clown, and the Nurse. Is it bad that I want to learn Nurse on the console? I’ve heard how bad the Nurse can be on console. I can’t say because I never played on a PC, but her movements feel wonky. Any tips for Nurse on console? I’ve been improving with8 comments 61 views last activity

Most hexes become stronger/active when the killer is more active, or towards the end with NOED that punishes survivors for neglecting the dull totems via gen rushing. Ruin? You penalize ALL survivors off the bat by forcing them to do great checks that are now normal checks. Normal checks REDUCE progression. The amount of toxicity I’ve seen from this astounded me. There’s is no work involved with0 comments 21 views last activity

I’ve been playing on the PS4 for about 2 months now. I started off as killer and noticed how easy it can be for the killer to win, although that’s the whole point in a sense. I actually made it to Rank 4-5 as a survivor. Which I think is a lie. I feel more like an 8-10 at times. What I’m starting to see is that unless the killer is really bad at the game the team cannot win. No amount of juking,31 comments 1,192 views last activity
