Cuz I feel like that should be a thing. Not only makes a hilarious meme but adds some depth to the blossoming nonverbal sign language developing in game. Well, that was my weird random thought of the day.8 comments 131 views last activity

Interacting with snowmen? I've noticed sometimes I get a reward notice and a lot of times I don't seem to get any reward. What are the things that specifically trigger a reward? Maybe I. Doing it wrong.5 comments 81 views last activity

Is this on purpose this time or still part of the previous glitch? I was a copper color yesterday and now I'm ash 4. No bloodpoints for it yet either.6 comments 151 views last activity

Santa Claus or equivalent can hand out gifts sorta like the Halloween pumpkins, with a chance of getting a you're on the naughty list note attached to a block salt instead of coal. Also, if any such event needs to use a special event currency, that currency can be salt ... or tears... Likewise, any such event that involves teams can have event jerseys for either team salt or team tears....0 comments 1 views last activity

Are they just being petty and trying to deny killers the satisfaction of a sacrifice? Or is there an actual reason such as selfishly trying to preserve their rank or end game score?3 comments 61 views last activity

I saw a ton of merged threads with closed status just now. I can still click into them and the post comment box at bottom is still there, though I did not try to comment. I'm just curious what's up with that. I don't see anything special about those threads, no warnings that I see or obvious deletions. Not seeing any obvious signs anything was merged. If thread is closed then why comment box s1 comments 11 views last activity

For maps that consist mostly of a huge building with multiple floor levels (( meat factory, midnight, red)) I suggest adding or refining the sound and visual notification system within the terror radius, possibly adding 9r tweeking perks as well, to be better able to determine whether the killer is on the same floor level as you, or if they are other floor level above or below you. I'm playing survivor today for tome stuff, and I got downed. OK, fine. Killer runs around corner and camps. Wonderful, but fine. I lay there doing the recovery thing till I couldn't progress anymore. No point in moving after since there's only one way out the room and the killer is camping the corner/doorway. Sigh... OK fine. I lay there waiting for the killer to be lured away and someone to heal15 comments 191 views last activity

Please stop. It does no good if we end up back on the hook this time at struggle phase or worse. Half the time you also get injured or downed in the process. You're much better off to either find a gen to repair, or to try and lure the killer far enough away so another survivor can unhook. Thanks.18 comments 471 views last activity

I saw the notice on the main page. Logged into game yesterday and auto received some bloodpoints and a notice of season reset despite RIFT still being open. Is that what the notice meant? I am confused.12 comments 241 views last activity

Please be aware I've only been playing a bit over a month now so I don't know everything about things players do or why. But I've now seen twice so far what appears to be survivors helping killers. At first I thought maybe an achievement they were going for or maybe a tome quest had caused them to try to get the killer to do something specific for them. When I googled the issue, I saw some posts3 comments 71 views last activity

All the crows... are now turkeys. Complete with gobbles. So when players disturb them you get a ridiculous gobbles instead of caw caw. Any kind of turkey would do. Wild turkey, farm turkey, etc, or random mix of breeds.2 comments 21 views last activity

Been playing as survivor, hiding from the killer who is about 10 or so feet away looking for you, then suddenly need to cough irl and immediately try to suppress your cough so the killer won't hear you? Cuz I did that last night... <_<1 comments 51 views last activity

1 best way to spot tangled gen as survivor? 2 why oh why do I have to be the one to pop the gen when there are 3 of us working on it and only 1 gets the event progress for it? Why can't anyone who spends at least 30 seconds get credit too? I'm constantly getting run off tangled gen by killers then someone else pops it.... assuming I even find the thing in the first place. 3 not getting any more6 comments 71 views last activity

Regarding the issue of survivors tapping buttons to avoid skill checks. Originally, in a different thread, I had stated I didn't mind too much since the game does nothing to prevent it and it wasn't happening too often. So as long as it wasn't accompanied by other bad behaviors like body blocking, then it wasn't too big of a problem... This poll is looking to assess killers experiences as the wraith.. I Started playing wraith recently and noticed a few odd things. He is supposed to be a stealth killer with foundational near invisibility and suppressed terror radius when cloaked. However, the bell ring to unlock, without addons, is so long that there is zero chance of surprising anyone in time to get a. Surprise hit on them. Sho10 comments 91 views last activity

( if anyone knows how to make polls allow more than one answer be checked please comment below thanks ) I've noticed I often walk right past an empty hook while carrying a survivor, causing me to sometimes find a more distant hook. Sometimes I lose the carried survivor due to the extra time and distance. This issue is much worse in maps where it's night time. As a result, I have resorted to looki5 comments 882 views last activity

Lots of people around the world have some form of hearing impairment. In my case, it's auditory processing disorder which is actually an issue with how the brain processes sounds. The more background noise, the more difficult it is for me to zero in on sounds I want to hear or to interpret those sounds correctly, including what direction it came from. I'm sure you can imagine how this effects my3 comments 21 views last activity

So I experienced my first match making ban today. I just loaded into a match and began setting traps when suddenly my game froze up and I disconnected. No fault of mine. Bad internet moment or maybe even a game server hiccup. I don't know. Either way I ended up with like a 3 minute ban in match making. Does this hurt my gaming or dbd account in any way? I hope not as that would be unfair in th5 comments 171 views last activity

I'm still new to this game so I probably just don't know all the survivors tricks, but every once in a while I get a match where either skill check fails on generators go off or crows alert or generators get fully repaired, but no matter how hard I search or how fast I move I never actually find or see any survivors or even their red scratch marks until the gates open. Whats going on?7 comments 51 views last activity

I'm still pretty new to this game, and killer matching games in general, but I have looked over rules listed on this forum for game play and as far as I can tell I'm not breaking any rules. That being said, I have noticed sometimes survivors will use their own strategies that could be considered questionable or not in line with the overall intended spirit of the game (such as flashlight spamming4 comments 21 views last activity
