So trying to learn this game a bit today rather than just faffing around. Watching a few videos where people used both Ruin and Pop. Can you use pops on generators while Ruin is ticking? In the process of leveling a few characters, I seem to have dozens of these lying around on each. But...I'm hesitant to use them. They just seem so powerful. As a newer player - is there something I'm missing, or is this a 'I've had a bad day, now it's time to stomp some folks' button? Hello all. So - newish player here, just wanted to share an idea and get a bit of feedback on it. Premades/SWF groups are a contentious issue right now. They can make a killer's life miserable due to the increased coordination voicechat allows, not to mention deliberately equipped/perked teams that seem nearly unbeatable and those so called 'depip' squads. Killers and survivors, do you have that one special character you love to play, or do you mix and match? How do you specifically like to play them? For me, it's the Hag. I enjoy Doctor, Bubba, Spirit and trying to learn Freddy (just...can't grasp him) - but I always come back to my Blair Witchy love. Assuming killers get their matchmaking reinstituted (currently it's the Wild West)... Since I started reading the forums, and on a number of review sites - the way that a coordinated group of people playing together over Discord or what have you is certainly frustrating to play against, and is likely going to end up with not such good effects in the long term. So yes, from my previous thread apparently there is no Killer matchmaking at present. But still, there has to be something to prevent matchups like this or at least throw us aspiring Killers a bone? Maybe some extra bloodpoints when the rank delta is this big. 3 of them were in a group, by the way.
