So I recently acquired the Knight and I've been absolutely loving his gameplay. Do I understand why people say he's boring? Yes. If all the knight player is doing is waiting for a 3 gen scenario/camping every hook, that's very annoying. However, what I'm curious to know is does the knights power aggravate survivors? Or is it literally just how most people play him? Or both? Or is it something el23 comments 2,172 views last activity

Played a game where all 3 of my teammates did nothing while I sat on hook. Even when the obsession got into chase, the other two didn't bother trying to save until well after I got into second stage. They were more worried about gathering void energy because of this stupid Halloween event. So I ended up finding the killer and getting myself outta the game because those teammates would've let me6 comments 141 views last activity

Just played a game against a Wesker who was being helped by my teammates. I think they had Bond on because they kept point out where I was hiding when the killer was close. He ignored the other survivors as they pointed towards me and he tunneled me. I left the game, pretty annoyed. Can I even report this behavior? I have a clip saved of it, people like this should catch a ban.2 comments 61 views last activity

Oof. It was a painful experience and the only good thing is I got tunneled out of the game quickly so I didn't have to continue on against this killer. I have the utmost respect for the person playing the artist in that match, they were clearly very skilled at playing her and it takes time to get that good. My bother comes from feeling like I had little to no options against her, but I think7 comments 211 views last activity

Which killer do you pick when you want to sweat your butt off? Which killer do you pick when you want to try and have fun in a trial and mess around. I'll go first! Sweaty pick: Pyramid Head Fun pick: Onryo (probably my favorite killer rn)48 comments 671 views last activity

As the title says, I think the Ebony Mori is just a bit oppressive even with the double hook added to it. I've been seeing more and more ebony moris in the game, not sure why. Regardless, it has made me realize how annoying they are in the hands of a good killer. Pair that with the absolute abysmal matchmaking and you have some regularly unfun and terrible games. I play a fair amount of PvP games online. Some have some pretty terrible matchmaking but I can honestly say with confidence that DBD has the most unbalanced, rage inducing, dog crap matchmaking of any game I've played. I am frequently matched against survivors who can all run every tile like its comp. I don't even think it's a SWF issue, it's legitimately a lot of solo Q people too I think. Pretty much fed up with PC players while I'm on console. Anybody saying PC players don't have some advantages are lying to themselves because they probably play on PC. Console vs console is fine. PC players should be matched against PC players. This event has brought every single sweat PC player in the game. That's how it seems at least. Average kills when I'm against all console, 2 - 35 comments 131 views last activity

I've played Dead by Daylight on and off for a few years now and I've noticed how easy it is for survivors to deny killers a hook. Either sabotaging or body blocking is so effective, especially during the EGC. Ive had games where I am clearly outmatched by the survivors but I try to stick it out and see if I can improve through seeing how they play. However, when the survivors are already a much31 comments 381 views last activity

Hey all, I recently decided to return to DBD after a fairly long hiatus. I got really burnt out on the game early last year and hadn't really played much until yesterday/today. My experience has been...well, awful. My survivor games have gone fine. Fairly average, I escape some, die others. My killer games though? They feel entirely unbalanced. I've not managed to get more than a 1k in my35 comments 2,061 views last activity

I play both sides fairly equally. From ranks 20 to about rank 14 or so, the matchmaking seems fairly average. Everything after rank 14 is a complete toss up. I am currently rank 8 as survivor, almost every match I join is either with all red ranks, which never goes well as in my experience, red rank survivors will dc for literally any reason they see fit and red rank killers are well beyond my sk11 comments 221 views last activity

Just ran against a very good deathslinger. Feels really bad to have no chance to react to his power. Does anybody have any solid ways to counter a deathslinger that isn't entirely reliant on surroundings?16 comments 191 views last activity

Although it doesn't fix the issue entirely, people who rage quite need a penalty. I patiently wait for the dc penalty to return so my teammates maybe think at least a bit before dc'ing. It ruins the game for everyone on the team.14 comments 231 views last activity

Maybe it's just me having bad luck, but the higher I climb in survivor rank, the more my teammates DC and they do it faster. Is this normal?8 comments 51 views last activity

It gets really frustrating to be going against red rank killers on a regular basis when I am only ever green or SOMETIMES rank 8 purple. To anyone who says rank doesn't matter, it absolutely does matter sometimes. High rank killers can be STUPID skilled and I seem to be running into all of them. Not to mention PC players specifically having an advantage over console players to add to that skill g0 comments 1 views last activity

Dunno if it's possible for people to sync up and join the same game as a killer friend during online play, but I just played a match where the killer (a doctor) tunneled me and 1 other survivor out of the game. Leaving only the 2 survivors who used an event cake offering, the killer also used an event cake offering, to farm. I wouldn't normally pay this any attention, but this has happened a coup3 comments 51 views last activity

As the title says. I think it could help mitigate at least a small amount of the hate and toxicity in this game. I've seen loads of post game chats that are filled with hate and slurs. Survivors blaming one another, salty killers spamming stupid stuff to make themselves feel better for not performing as well as they would've liked to. It's not necessary to have end game chat to make the game go24 comments 251 views last activity

If the survivors are good, getting a 4k as killer feels awesome, and stressful haha. However, it seems a lot of the time when I play survivor, killers who do well also BM survivors while they die. If you feel the need to act like a jerk even while winning, you seriously need to reevaluate how you are choosing to act. Only thing worse than a sore loser is a sore winner. Just played a game against a wraith. Wasn't a great wraith, wasn't terrible either. I'm a solo Q player btw. Anyways, match progressed, we had 1 gen left to do. Killer had a couple of hooks. So, a Steve (who I later found out was running bond) kept running the killer around, but he would eventually run him to other teammates to try and lose aggro. This is what started the ball rolling to my unt0 comments 11 views last activity

Title pretty much sums it up. Billy, Blight, Nurse, Spirit sometimes, any mobile killer using tinkerer is annoying af more often than not. Mind you, I play solo Q so that might add to the frustration. 90% of killers I see running it will often leave chase to push survivors of gens, even when there are 5 up. Just gets annoying. Just played against a rank 4 Spirit (I'm a rank 11, I hate matchmaking.) The spirit was using make your choice and stridor. Absolutely garbage feeling that everytime anyone unhooked, spirit immediately phased back to the hook and found the unhooker and downed them immediately. Couldn't hide, couldn't run because she would track you. The killer almost always tried to hook in or near a dead zone.26 comments 301 views last activity

So, with the resident evil chapter coming out in 11 days, I've been thinking about cool stuff they could do or maybe missed opportunities. Much like the Twins having a somewhat dynamic Mori depending on whether or not Victor is there. I'd love it if Nemesis could somehow utilize the zombies to eat the survivor as a Mori. I haven't quite thought about how it would work. Would you just drop a 2 hoo1 comments 21 views last activity

I enjoy playing as doctor sometimes. He's good for a laugh and actually fun to play. Going against doctors isn't much of an issue for me either. If I get outplayed, I give them props and move on. I've recently run into a handful of doctor players that seem to refuse to leave their 3 Gen from the very start of the match. They wouldn't chase anyone, they would just patrol the 3 gen they found and54 comments 881 views last activity

I haven't played DbD in a while, came back to it tonight and decided to warm up with some survivor games. Played maybe 5 or 6 games, of those games, 3 of them saw a survivor unhooking me multiple times while in the TR and they did not have BT. No shade at them, they may have thought they could get me unhooked in time and take aggro from the killer, unfortunately, the killers were in a tunneling m15 comments 421 views last activity

I have seen this glitch randomly pop up since I started playing DbD (about 3 years now). Have the devs ever addressed it in any meaningful way? Although it doesn't happen very often, it's still incredibly frustrating to basically be useless for an entire match when it comes to objectives. I usually just try to take aggro from the killer when I get this glitch, but it's been in the game for so lon2 comments 41 views last activity

Just played 3 games in a row where 2 people killed themselves on first hook. Just a PSA that if you are somebody who does this, you should consider not playing the game if you can't handle a core mechanic of it. As an aside, not that it should matter, but the killers for those 3 games were Trapper, Billy and Nurse. The nurse was baby af. I know some people don't care about struggle points, probably a lot of killers, probably even some survivors, but it's still points we can't get because the second you are unable to be rescued, you get killed on hook. May not seem like much, but it's still BP. Would be nice to get them, or an amount equal to what would've been earned by struggling on hook.20 comments 191 views last activity

Iri head is fine as is, even though it takes no skill to literally run up on a survivor until you're literally touching them and 1 hit down them with iri head. It does take skill to hit a long shot, regardless of what add-ons are being used. However, infantry belt gives a total of 3 iri heads (I'm sure everyone knows this) which makes it absolutely busted and dog crap to run against. Bhvr33 comments 781 views last activity

I understand a lot of people really don't like the dc penalty, but it serves a purpose that I feel is necessary. I've played about 20 or so games in the last few days, of those games, I'd say about 13 of them had at least 1 person dc. I just played a game where 2 people dc'd because they got downed, we have 2 gens left but they were butt hurt about getting downed so they dc'd. This type of mental10 comments 121 views last activity

I've seen a lot of posts regarding OoO lately, I assume because of the recent dev stream that briefly discussed it. Just curious what some of you would do to either tweak or fully rework the perk. I personally don't run into too many OoO users in game, but when I do, gosh do I ever kill them fast. Anyways, share your thoughts :) Be friendly! Every single time I see Behavior post on twitter, there is a small group of people who act like complete turd farmers and just post "nerf Freddy" or "add Sydney Prescott" or some other survivor that nobody cares about. They also act surprised when people give them crap for posting the same exact thing on EVERY tweet. Hey all, I'm a player of both Survivor and Killer, but I definitely prefer to run as killer. I find myself proxy Camping a lot these days because almost every lobby I go against will dive bomb hooked survivors moments after I start to walk away. I don't feel great while proxy Camping, but if I see someone trying to crouch around where I just hooked someone, I'm going to stay near the hook, u23 comments 1,311 views last activity

@Peanits I'm not sure if you can, but is there any way you could shed some light on who holds the power to enable keyboard and mouse support in DbD for consoles? I've read a lot of back and forth from people and I figure someone at Bhvr must know. No worries if you can't comment! Just figured I'd ask :)0 comments 11 views last activity

I'm not sure I could ever fully describe how frustrating it is to be playing killer, go in for a juicy swing on a survivor that looks like a guaranteed hit ONLY to be turned in a direction I'm not aiming for, and hitting a random object or just swinging through air. Is there any way to fix this??? Is the auto aim just really really bad in this game?6 comments 41 views last activity

Why? I've played so many games that result in the last survivor finding hatch first, but waiting to jump in until i get closer to it so I can see them standing on top of it, sometimes t-bagging, and after that they finally jump in. I was not toxic in these games, I wasn't camping and I don't think I ever tunneled intentionally. So why? Do some survivors just really need to BM if they feel5 comments 211 views last activity

Trying to use Dead Hard and ending up exhausted and on the ground is really frustrating. Even when I try to use it for distance I somehow get clipped by the killer in the back and go down. I've tried using it at different times, unless I use it SUPER early, it just doesn't work. I main killer, but I dabble in survivor as well. I know both sides enough to know it isn't fun to get t bagged at an exit gate by survivors, especially if you got rolled the entire game. Flipside being, killers, don't be a toxic gamer and let a survivor crawl towards the hatch, making it clear that you'll let them have it, only to close it in their face, or carrying the last survivor around the36 comments 1,911 views last activity

Multiple matches today I've seen this happen or had it happen to me while I'm on hook. A survivor hangs around, gets spotted by the killer, runs straight to hook and unhooks thinking...what? That the killer won't down the freshly unhooked and still injured survivor? This is scummy as hell and I know there probably isn't much to be done about it on the devs side, they'd have no real way of punish39 comments 2,661 views last activity

I am going to start this all by saying I fully understand that without the hatch spawning in once 3 survivors are dead, the final survivor could theoretically hold the game hostage until found or the killer quits out. That said, I find it... frustrating I suppose? I don't sweat much in this game, no kill or 4k, I really don't mind just starting up another lobby and moving on. It's happened a few times recently (all during the 4th year anniversary oddly enough) that I've noticed survivor individuals working with killers to point out their teammates and watch on as the killer downs and hooks the entire team with the exception of the survivor who is colluding with the killer. Usually I can brush this off because it doesn't happen often. But in the last 3 days it's h3 comments 101 views last activity

Was in a match, trying to get my boy Dwight the entity crown, last one I needed. Match was going great, found a crown spawn after a few gens popped, I grabbed it just before another player did. Well I guess they weren't happy about that because they kept getting into chases and running the killer to me while I was on gens. 4 games in a row, a teammate unhooked me while the killer was chasing them, well within the terror radius but they weren't running borrowed time. Killer downed them and me. Needed to vent. If you're gonna save within the terror radius, have ######### borrowed time. Really helps out and stops frustrating ######### from happening. Just a rant, but I just finished the shortest game as survivor ever. Going up against a billy, someone is chainsawed within a minute, they DC. Next 2 people found DC once they get chainsawed. I get found and chainsawed and die on hook. All in all, about a 4.5 minute game. People DC'ing because the killer is trying to KILL them is just ridiculous. I just finished 2 games (PS4) playing as killer.
