For myself, it'd be turning down the volume on "The Entity Hungers" sound effect. For some reason, it always seems to play 30% louder than the other sounds in the game (and is the most ear-bleeding sound in the game, IMHO). You?37 comments 702 views last activity

In a hypothetical scenario, let's pretend that the entity lost its grasp over its realm, meaning that killers were able to be hurt and destroyed (and also some losing their increased strength granted by the entity). Their regular powers remain, however. If you had to assemble a team of 4 survivors likely to be able to beat the current roster of killers (1 at a time, not all killers at once, of6 comments 151 views last activity

Long read, so: TLDR : Wesker's power is a jack of all trades, but master at nothing. One of the things that bugs me the most about playing Wesker (I've gotten him up to P7 at this point) is that his power is cumbersome to use unless the survivor is in your direct line of sight & also not behind a loop. A M1 hit with Wesker is usually the only way to deal with survivors around loops, as6 comments 301 views last activity

Besides the Box, isn't Pinhead just a worse clown? His chains can be snapped quickly around walls, and require that you don't miss the survivor. Clown can toss a bottle at a long side of a loop without extreme worry about aiming. Clown can cause a slowdown for the survivor while still moving at his normal speed, while pinhead has to stop moving completely to use his ability. I remember Clown's5 comments 81 views last activity

Wouldn't it be funny to see Oogie Boogie chasing survivors around the map? His terror radius would be this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IDq0FrQEdcw 32 meters - 0:00 8 meters/chase - 1:40 Downed/carried by killer: 2:10 Hooked by killer: 2:41 The entire animated portion of the song would be his mori animation with the survivor. There's been so many times where mind-gaming survivors without the heartbeat or even abandoning the chase briefly (to get rid of chase music) comes in clutch. Not to mention that it triggers on any type of injury, so it is quite fun to play around with on different killers. My favorite killer with it is Michael Myers (even though I know it doesn't trigger with T3) - makes me feel closest to the4 comments 161 views last activity

After MMR was put on, I've been noticing a lot of DCing from both sides. When I play killer (any killer), I've had survivors DC on the first down. When I play survivor, the same thing happens but also the killer will DC if a generator pops early. I rarely ever had games like this before MMR, so what's up with that?6 comments 121 views last activity

Out of all the killers powers, who do you think requires the most strategy to win with? My vote's the Twins, since they reward map awareness and planning. For instance, kicking a highly complete generator with pop and leaving Victor behind is a wonderful way to apply pressure. There are a lot of other scenarios where thinking ahead with this killer pays off a lot. Your opinion?5 comments 71 views last activity

Here it is! F+ killers stand a chance based upon their power being able to cut off survivors or quickly teleport to a destination on the map. F killers just need to be paid respects, since most of their powers are negated by simply weaving between the fences and getting out of the LOS of the killer11 comments 171 views last activity

If you were sucked inside of your computer and into the entity's realm (with a random killer) for a singular trial, who would you choose to have as your 3 other survivor companions for the upcoming trial? I've been curious as to why Thrilling Tremors doesn't boot survivors off of generators being repaired after a survivor is picked up. Survivors that aren't working on generators are likely not going to be working on a blocked generator for the 16 second duration. Of course, survivors that are already working on generators suffer no negative effect if thrilling tremors pops. You can argue that it5 comments 111 views last activity

Seems like chasing with Victor and using your ability punishes your emblem score, since chases don't seem to happen when you're chasing a survivor down. I 4ked a round with the Twins and I only got to the safety pip (no camping, decent length game). Anyone else experiencing this?1 comments 31 views last activity

This is such a hidden gem of a perk combo. As a rank 1 killer, this combination of perks can really stall survivor progress in a lot of games I've played. Let me explain why: Dragon's Grip gives you the advantage of being able to obviously put survivors into the exposed state as well as revealing their location when they touch a generator in the 30 second time window. Enjoy my beautiful illustration of how the character models differ in their animations for crouching and walking. I usually like to walk to the other side of the map as survivors are on hook (and watching their teammates let them go to stage 2 of the sacrifice). Also enjoy the ez chases, where survivors run * at* the killer instead of away and drop the shack pallets super early21 comments 2,021 views last activity

Consider this - you're rank 1/2/3/4 and you get put with a team that is in the upper ranks of 10+ that doesn't know how to play DBD completely, your "skill" that round is up to your teammates playing skillfully against a potential red-rank killer. So, if they get downed and you have to go for the saves (and nobody's doing gens), RIP your matchmaking rank. Even better if they DC and leave you in a5 comments 261 views last activity

Playing both killer and survivor roles, and it's now a consistent thing for people to DC. For real, if you're just going to disconnect and not play the game (and ruin the match for everyone else) after getting downed a single time, why even play DBD at all? And before people say "I dC bEcAuSe I dOnT lIkE tHe KiLlEr", then why the high fructose corn syrup don't you learn to counter the killers a26 comments 441 views last activity

When playing killer, I notice that a lot of survivors wait to use Sprint Burst until you're right on top of them (even if they're not repairing a gen and just walking around). Wouldn't it make more sense to just use it to run away and gain even more distance when you see the killer walking towards you? Or is there some strategy that I'm not aware of?27 comments 541 views last activity

Curious as to what the strategy is as a long time killer player. Consider this situation, which applies greatly to low mobility killers on large maps. You've hooked a survivor early game. Corrupt intervention is still up. 3 survivors spread out work on 3 generators while the survivor is still in their first phase. You go to one of the generators to apply pop and put pressure on a survivor whi5 comments 121 views last activity

One thing I've noticed as DBD has gone on is that a lot of the newer killer perks are very sophisticated in their use (and sometimes very tricky to trigger), versus earlier perks were more simplistic in how they affected Survivors. Here's a few ideas I want to propose: Hex: Ghostfire: Your desire to maintain power in the entity's realm fuels this Hex totem. When a survivor cleanses any other H11 comments 271 views last activity

Autodidact, Empathy, and Solidarity. If you and another survivor are in the injured state and when Autodidact has less than 2 tokens, the negative progress from autodidact's skillcheck will still count as a positive bonus for Solidarity (meaning you can surpass the 50% limit on a heal), meaning that you'll be next to fully healed when a survivor starts healing you. When Autodidact has 3+ tokens,0 comments 41 views last activity

For me, it was when 2 remaining survivors found the hatch and had a key (1 gen left, 2 survivors sacrificed, last 2 survivors were on death hook). Was playing Clown at rank 1 and was not camping hook/tunneling. One of them escaped immediately and the other waited for me to show up at the hatch to do some t-bagging. Post game chat, the t-bagger said the stereotypical "gg ez baby killer". I just la7 comments 81 views last activity

I just played a round on the PTB - clown feels much better in chase (was running the brown reload addon and the brown feather). It feels like your bottles are much more effective, especially throwing them in front of survivors and forcing them to go through the entire cloud. He still lacks map pressure, but at least he's much better at the thing he was designed for - chases.5 comments 191 views last activity
