What's up with all the DC's?

After MMR was put on, I've been noticing a lot of DCing from both sides. When I play killer (any killer), I've had survivors DC on the first down. When I play survivor, the same thing happens but also the killer will DC if a generator pops early. I rarely ever had games like this before MMR, so what's up with that?

I've had a survivor dc when I was memeing with franks mixtape as legion definitely don't know what's happening

They get the correct type of player and get mad because they might lose.
