People please stop comparing the dark times (insta flash , no bloodlust , no windows blockers etc...) to these changes. However yes he may be a dark time but a different one. Nothing like the one we've got in 2016.
I do hope that the new MMR (skill based) will show if the game is played at the highest skill level is balanced or totally survivors sided. I'm sure we're gonna be surprised.
-
I play her every single day and yes she's bugged. She's my favorite killer but it's becoming frustrating with these bugs. Hawkings please god help me she's so buggy on this map.
-
Really you all think that's normal. Not surprising the DBD community is toxic if you allow AFK , Hostage situation and Map exploits to be allowed. I never seen any community saying that AFK shouldn't be punished. Even F13 have idle kick.
-
People need to stop saying BS about consoles players. Yes there is a lot of potatoes and what on PC is even worse. I guess some of you never played against actual good player. Middle-east SwF is toxic and very strong but once again i guess no one ever played against them.
Me too i play killer win about 95% of my games is that due to me being a god or the ranking system being so flexible (Bad and Good mixed). I'm sure the second is the issue there.
I'm gonna repeat myself but, if matchmaking were skill-based all of you wouldn't be here doubting about what some killers said. Gens done in 3-5 min while barely hooking one or two have happened to me and with hillbilly. These SwF is rare but they do exist. I do not encounter them often but when i do it's not a easy match at all.
@Rizzo90 I'm i allowed to use Middle-east word.

I didn't notice either. But tbh no matter what skin colour a killer is it shouldn't affect how you see them. Docs always been a shocki boi and I live him for it, hags always been hag.... And wraiths wraith.
And lastly.... Saying that hag had darker skin or wraith is black is wrong. As of being in the entity's realm they are grey, they used to have that skin colour but now they don't. They're grey : specifically wraith is a descendant of darkseid and hag is made up of litteral twigs and swamp related items.
This post isn't intended to sound racist at all, if it does in some way I apologise
How dare you compare Darkseid with Wraith, Darkseid is a god and Philip is a weak killer that need a buff. Philip is definitely black as proven with his body from the candle cosmetic.
-
What need nerf
- Mori should only work when everyone was hooked one time.
- Key shouldn't be instant and should take at least 3s.
- Maps need reworked which include (smaller loops , spots for balanced landing , Possibility for 3 gens strats , Smaller side and of course balanced for all killers).
- Iri head is the most power add-on of the game. Insta-saw is not as broken as iri head.
What doesn't need nerf.
- Hillbilly (except maybe stacking add-ons such as charge time and cooldown) but Engravings should stay as they should because a high skill cap is needed for those.
What need a buff.
- Rank system : Skill-based matchmaking is what we need so we can really see what is OP. Hillbilly will be proven more of a weak killer than OP. This will also stop nubs from versing esport-like players.
- Most basic killer : Clown , Wraith , Trapper , Myers , Demo, Pig.
As a side note : Hillbilly insta-saw is not OP because with the right play, Billy become what i call a billy hammer (m1 killer).
-
he is black like wraith and hag.
-
It's a side effect of the new matchmaking coming soon as they are testing it. All game you do count toward this new MMR.

The Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde could be a really good dlc chapter if done right. Instead of making the two minds in one character just make Dr Jekyll into a survivor and Mr Hyde as a killer. Dr Jekyll can be a Tech based survivor with generators and traps or some kind of healer. His personal perks can be tech related or medical related that can help him and help the team avoid the killer. Dr Jekyll can have outfits like a lab coat or Victorian clothes but cleaner or different from Mr Hyde's and probably no top hat.
Mean while Mr Hyde can be some what of a brute but not some big built guy like trapper but with a average height of a male like legion. His outfit of course is Victorian styled with the top hat and cloak but also his clothes could be dirty or bloody for either a stock outfit or a outfit you can get in store. For Mr Hyde's weapon it can be a walking cane like the one he used to bash people in the book and his power can be some what related to anger or madness for an example being punished too much by a survivor can make him more powerful with speed or strength. His perks could be references of him from the book or perks that can make him really unpredictable.
His Memento Moris could be Mr Hyde bashing the survivor with his walking cane or/and/before pulling out a vial/bottle of a elixir and pouring it on the survivor causing extreme pain. There are many ways you can do a Moris with Mr Hyde since he is pretty brutal and you can probably do something with a walking cane or a elixir.
Also how they both came into the entity's realm can be some thing like that the Entity was watching the story unfold and some point at the end of the story where Mr Hyde locked him self up in a room while Dr Jekyll's friends was bashing the door down or another version was when Mr Hyde was trying to make a run from the police but either version is good to choose but before Mr Hyde was found by police The Entity began talking to Mr Hyde.
The Entity told Hyde that it could separate him from Jekyll and have all the victims he could kill if he accepted it's offer.Mr Hyde accepts and black fog starts to surround him then he experience a horrific pain as if he is being cut in half and minutes later it stops...... as the black fog goes away he finds himself in a abandoned mansion and in front of him is the Doctor himself......Dr Jekyll.
Mr Hyde thinks to himself : Now the real fun can begin.
Just a idea for a chapter since the characters are in Public Domain and you rarely see the two used anymore now these days in the media even though they did inspire a lot of creations that people made based on the book.
Will update or edit when more ideas of the concept are made.
It's impossible as they are the same person but different. Except if the devs want to bring multiverse lore into DBD. However i'm not against it as a big fan of DR jekyll and Mr. Hyde / Frankenstein novel.

Sounds cool in concept but imagine a clown that ends chases quickly ending them much quicker
Except Clown don't end chase quickly but force pallet drop. Clown is a bad killer because of that reason, While his power sound like the most OP anti-loop power in the game it's not the case.

to be fair it always had 800 windows, and if RNG was feeling frisky it would spawn infinites.
Yes i know it's the map with the most windows. And it's why cruel limits only kinda work on that map.
-
Badham is a good map tho. As the rest yes there are unbalanced for killer but, well survivors experience first it's the reason why lery was reworked instead of other maps. Lery was one of the most deadly maps for survivor.
Now lery have many pallet and windows.
-
I've always said the changes are survivors sided but, everyone keep telling i'm bad seriously. Of course when you get bad teams the game is fun and balanced. Ranking system if it were skill based you would see how right i am.
Sabotage is the most annoying mechanics of the game because you can deny the killer objectives. Killer can delay the objectives of survivors but not deny it. Imagine undo gens that were done.
If you want the game to be like that devs then just revert nurse. It's becoming ridiculous at this point. At least there is some changes that could change the meta but i don't think killers want sabo to meta. If you play killer you know how unfun it is to play against it.
I like destroyable walls but they should be more strategic.
-
Things you have to play a lot of hours to see them. pretty much like a god tier Billy/nurse, Those survivors do gens in 3-5m while pallets are barely used. I wish you never met those on haddonfield/crotus prenn or rotten field you gonna have a bad time. Flickbilly don't scare them and mori won't stop them from winning.
The good thing is that they are very rare if all survivors were like that the dark times would be back. All i can assure is that there are not a myth they do exist but you got what... 1% chance to meet them.
It's why the current system (ranking) is bad because red ranks is mixed with good/bad survivors. A skill based matchmaking is what we need. So the game can have new players without being killed by a Esport-like skill player. Balance-wise devs will be able to balance things right without getting hillbilly OP thread for example.
-
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PizdF5mQcCA&t=90s
The first part of the video show the guy doing flick with a few mistakes. He also have a nancy looping him a bit. Flickbilly is counterable by changing loops.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VxbLxLZJS5E&t=621sThis one show both side POV and all survivors make the same mistake to stay at loops. Which is why survivors are making threads like this one in the first place. As long survivors have to do efforts and other things then loops it's a nerf hammer time.

Anyone that tries to defend Hillbilly not needing nerfed with one side of their mouth while acting like other killers need nerfs is a hypocrite.
Billy's tuning doesn't make any sense compared to the other killers.
He can run forever. He can chainsaw forever. He has no freakin' cooldowns.
None of it makes sense. It's like if Nurse could blink forever without getting stunned after them or Huntress never needing to reload her Hatchets. Or the new killer not having to reload. Or Oni not needing blood to power-up.
He's ridiculously OP & not at all in line with the other killers in the game.
He doesn't make sense from their own design standpoint.
Where are the negatives that negate his positives? He always has a 1-shot down. He can run forever across the entire map. He literally has no weaknesses, it's stupid.
Stop trying to defend him because you like him. From a DESIGN standpoint, he's broken.
No Hillbilly is not OP. The current MMR is what need a nerf because getting rank 15 or survivors rank 17 while rank 1, will make this kind of thread.
Billy is loopable even flickbilly can be beaten. Sure he require a high skill cap from survivors but hey, these days survivors make no efforts to win proven with ruin nerf and sabo buff.
By design he is not broken just easy by default. If something need nerf are maybe the stacking add-ons like cooldown and charge time.

@BabyClaudette said:
I'm going to try and keep this short, and also I'm not trying to start an argument.
Anyways so, I think that losing your add-ons for survivor even if you escape is not a good idea.
My reasoning is, killers on average only have 19.8 add-ons that can appear on their bloodweb. That makes getting specific add-ons easier because there isn't a huge pool of add-ons to begin with.
Survivors on the other hand have 55 total add-ons plus 18 items that can also show up in a bloodweb.
It is much harder for survivors to get specific add-ons because survivors have 73 possible things to get in a bloodweb (not including offerings and perks) compared to a killers 19.8 possible add-ons.
If they want to do something, they should just make ultra-rares and very-rares actually rare.
Ok that's all
Edit : Also survivor add-ons don't have as much as an impact as killer addons do, maybe besides syringes and styptics but like I said they could just make them more rare.
While you got a solid argument i think that he make Ace In The Hole more useful and devs tries to change the meta. I'm all for it.
-
I mean survivors want nerfs because they don't like efforts to win. It's not like the survivors side is the strongest when played great.
Flickbilly take a lot of hours and they want to nerf it because killer need to make efforts while survivor don't.
You can't nerf a pro player just because you're nub. If something need to happen is a revamp of the ranking system. If matchmaking become skill based you will only meet these players if you have the same amount of skill. If he too strong despise the skill cap then he should be nerfed but, actually the system is not there so red ranks mean nothing and so RR players is mixed with bad and good players.
-
I laugh if they make a room with two windows and two breakable walls. Sound like a fun show right.
I mean look at this secret footage the devs are trying to hide
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uRwqc3QnoiE&t=38s
seriously i think the walls won't be bad but i don't think we shouldn't overrate them.
-
Kate and ace are the quietest.

Skillbilly is a billy that stop loop with his chainsaw which we call it flickbilly. At high level play he require a lot of skill but overall he is easy to play.

I am not complaining. I am stating observations.
I have observed that Hillbilly is too easy to play for his massive reward, especially against other high-tier killers.
Go back and read my opening statements. All of them. In great detail.
I mean flicking is not that easy. Spirit is more easier than hillbilly and yet no one complain about her.
-
Hillbilly is fine guys stop complain over a balanced killer. Like i've said again and again and will say it again. Only insta-saw need to be changed and billy have too much counter. flickbilly is easy to counter that's require a lot of skill from killer side but i guess survivor want to nerf it because well, i want loop around of pallet gameplay.
Killer get nerfed no matter how much effort and skill they put but, survivor get everything nerfed because there are the no skill side of the game. Even ruin was nerfed because the skill check was hard lul. BHVR will listen to them because there are the major community.
Survivor want a win without effort while killer keep trying more and more. Nurse nerf and ruin nerf is the exemple of this. So stop saying killer is tryharding when you make them tryhard even more.

Also are you serious? When it was like 15 or 30 seconds and THEN 5 minutes the next time it wasn't so bad. 5 minutes though right off the bat might be enough to make me just turn the game off if it gives me a time ban for the game freezing or whatever.
Queue times as survivor are already forever long... having to wait to be able to re-queue to wait might be a bit of a deal breaker for me honestly...well...we'll see if they fixed the issues with it or not for real.
5min is the time i've got.

Honestly let’s all come back to earth and take a second and realize how boring and weird the demogorgon is.
I’ve been playing with him and I just keep thinking how much he needs a rework just think about it. His dash is useless every half decent survivor can easily dodge that, there is an obstacle right next to you at any given moment just press A or D and boom your safe.
His portal ability like come on, I’m usually never standing on top of one when I need to be, and the time to travel just gets you in the general proximity of a survivor especially given the a heads up for survivors to gtfo.
I don’t consider myself a bad killer and usually please the entity even with the demogorgon, I just don’t enjoy him. He is a interdenominational adapt, primed, and prime hunter who can infect, rebirth, 4 legged sprint, and is a hive mined controlled beast.
I’m conclusion could there not be a re-work just making him fun to be played and contest against, He’s just missing something. Don't take this with a grain of salt :)
He need CHANGES not REWORK, many don't seem to understand the concept of a rework versus changes.
Sure the demo is weak but that's because his power need buffs. the demo concepts is very good on paper (shred) but is poorly executed. His teleport ability is weaker than his hag counterpart but can be reduced by his add-ons (both movement speed and recovery).
While i 4k very often with him addonless i do agree that he can be very add-ons reliant against good team.
How would i change him.
- First reduce his footstep sounds because he is loud very loud (that destroy any undetectable build for him).
- Then reducing his teleport cooldown to 10s (and nerfing add-ons so we'll keep the same max cooldown as of now).
Otherwise maybe change for shred but it's a hard thing to change because it's a anti loop or baiting tool so.
-
All they see is that hillbilly is OP.
-
For the same reason that survivor think hillbilly cancel animation is strong.

So, if you get bullied but see the rank you feel better than without seeing ranks? Whats the difference?
If the system works "well" enough you shouldn't be bullied anyways. And if you play good or bad you will know it anyways...
No you won't know because you can't see the rank. playing against a high skill player and you are a no skill one and win the game won't tell you and you will think that the system is doing the job.
Hiding a rank system is very unhealthy i've never seen any games hiding your skill level. Rainbow six , paladin , fortnite , ffxiv , LoL none of them hide your skill level and those have some really good ranking system but also have casual mode which DBD don't.

It makes me sad to think how much time they put into this, how great they must actually think it is, and what kind of reaction they were expecting... they probably hoped for all kinds of “hooray thanks for fixing it,” threads and instead they get people smart enough to see through it.
I don't want to be rude to devs with all the hard work they put in it but, really devs have no ideas of how they can improve the system. The system by itself is not bad it's just that the system won't be able to determine who's a good Killer/survivor due to Camp/tunnel/mori/ - Waste Pallet/Hiding in locker/blendette. Maybe they should put a win ratio in it, pretty much rainbow six do but counting how many escape or are killed. This way we can establish what a win are from both side.
To explain more accurately here he goes.
- Killers : He kills 2 survivors and two escape, the game should say that is matched and award them no points or at least one points to each side. Now if killers kills 3 or 4 survivors it's a victory and survivors all loses points and killers win points.
- Survivors : same as killer but inverted.
Devs need to establish what a win is for the system, after that they need to establish what skill are and how we can evaluate it.
-
@Infckingcredible said:
Nah we don't need to see ranks. It will be less toxic and more fun to play
Wrong you will get bullied but you won't know if the skill is matched. How that's fun. Imagine playing against a e-sport player but the system don't tell you is rank. What will you say ? This game is balanced and fun because the rank system don't tell me if i'm matched with my skill level bracket.
It's like hidding a username you get tbagged and bullied all game but you don't know who it is. That will bring a free getaway from toxicity or worse imagine getting away with hostage situation but don't get to see the username.
Anyway i'm out from the subject, my point is no seeing the ranks or not will change nothing if the game is toxic he will stay toxic. Differences is that you won't see if the rank is matched and that's simply a bad design as he can exploiting easily by survivors.
-
All we know is that this system will also fail. I've never seen any competitive games hidding your skill rating. Rainbow six siege have one of the best competitive system and show your skill rating with a emblem (from copper to diamond). Skill can be feel when ranking up.
Skill rating should be seen and should show how much you need to rank up your skill rating or something like that. Rewards at seasons end increase as high as you are in the skill bracket. I also think that BHVR should make a casual mode.

Correct you can record longer but i've not record everything because the game lasted 30m why would i lie. Killers blocked because he wanted to troll. My team have done all gens and opened the doors at 99%, but instead of opening the door they taken the hatch so EGC haven't occur. I've blamed them but he doesn't change the fact that the killer was holding me hostage with another teammate.
Like i said you want to treat me of liar go ahead but, i haven't cut anything and is the full clip i had. If you want however i can give you the full ID list of who i've played even the random who were with us.

Not taking game hostage, jane on stairs can finish 1 gen, start egc and the game will end. The spirit could chase her leaving time for the others to get down or stand there blocking and the two or three survivors with die from entity after egc ends.
IT is because Jane and the other teammate escaped via hatch. It's not shown but it's what has happened.

Yah, that's not holding the game hostage.
If the other survivors finished the gens and triggered the End Game Collapse, Spirit would still get 2 kills out of it

That being said, it's probably not a bad idea for the devs to break one of the railings at the stairs to give survivors another way out in case of situations like that. I wouldn't put a vault point off the balcony to the field, that would make the house WAY too safe.

The 6 second cooldown was obviously added to make the Nurse add-on reliant. Only the baddies played Omega or 5-blink. Therefore, reworking the add-ons would have not impacted the good nurses and it would have resulted in a half-nerf of sort.
I mean omega blink is even stronger now so not really. It's a good thing that they've changed the downside, charge time increase with the new omega is well balanced in my opinion. Against strong team on big maps yes she's add-ons reliant.

@Peanits said:
We mentioned this back when we updated the Nurse, but there's a good reason why we didn't go with any of those.
- Charge time: Increasing charge time would mess with the muscle memory that Nurse players have built up over the years. It also doesn't really change much.
- Increasing fatigue: This is something people have made clear that they don't like. The Legion's fatigue was increased to 4 seconds when they were updated. Even though you catch up faster than before given their increased movement speed, the feeling of being in fatigue for 4 seconds was not ideal.
- Reducing range: Similar to the first, it would mess with the muscle memory of the Nurse. It also wouldn't change a whole lot. Either the range is low enough that you have a hard time keeping up with the survivors, or it's not and nothing has changed. Either way, not ideal.
- Reduced movement speed while blinking: This would give the survivors a ton of time to react and avoid your blinks. Right now you might only have a split second to react, and increasing that window could make it almost impossible to actually get a hit.
I promise that it wasn't something that was taken lightly, we considered a whole bunch of options before settling on this. This way you maintain control and keep the same feel for your blinks, but you can't use them back to back if you missed. If you blink and miss, it gives the survivor a chance to break the line of sight. If you blink and hit, nothing has changed. Mistakes are a little more punishing, and the reward for blinking accurately is the same.
Thanks for the reply though don't you think there were alternatives than 6s cooldown. I mean nurse was the strongest killer and she's now the worst one that simply hurt.
Nurse is powerful even now but a lot of her add-ons need buffs such as undetectable and campbell last breath.

Ok, elitist.
I can play at red ranks, but I myself am not a red rank due to time limiations, and getting camped by bad green rank killers due to poor matchmaking.
Enough clarification? Are you contempt with continuing to tear apart the community with your toxic attitude? Feel good about yourself for "sHoWiNg A pLeBiAn HiS pLaCe?"
I said that I don't want to be a red rank, because I take this game casually and they are way too sweaty as a whole. I am a rank 5 survivor, and I'll push to red to say I've hit red, but it doesn't feel like I've accomplished anything. It only feels like I've spent more time than I need to into one side to achieve this rank that doesn't really mean anything and will be taken away within a few weeks.
Elitist is not the word but still red ranks have 90% of potatoes it's why the survival rate is very low. Hillbilly being a played godly is very rare same goes for spirit and nurse. Saying Hillbilly is OP clearly come from the player. I'm not a god survivor but can smash a lot of very good hillbilly, HE the most balanced killer but lethal at the right hands and survivors don't like that.
