I used to use Surge, Thrilling Tremors, STBFL, Corrupt.
Might need to switch out STBFL for something now, but it's a strong build that saves you alot of time.
STBFL can be used differently after the latest change. Just build up your stacks outside of Frenzy and when you see your Obsession you just Frenzy hit him/her without losing your stacks and ignore him/her (for the last). It's definitely not as good as before, but still usable :)

That's a hard one. I love both of them and every time a change from Bond to Empathy and vice versa I say to myself "Hm, this one is better". But that's really only a situational thing. Some games Bond is better other Empathy. And it also depends on killer.
-
Just go to corner of the map, where Oni won't go and teabag so every single blood orb respawn there and he has no power. Easy counterplay.
-
"To be (troll), or not to be (troll), that is the question."
-
His power is still great for tracking survivors which is the most important thing here.
-
I have never cared about 4k in this game (well, when not counting 4k Challenges). All I care is to have fun while playing killer and Legion is still fun to play. After the latest patch even more and I have to say, it's definitely a buff for me and my playstyle.
Legion probably will not be top tier Killer, but that's a good thing as it could ruin fun factor playing as him. There are lot of killers you can play, so if you don't like Legion, just play different killer and leave him be, please. He's fine.

If you believe it's a bug you should post it in Bugs section of the Forum (if you don't find it there).

You want to tell me it isn't worse that now I can loop the legion the entire game without have to mend?
If 1-2 gens are done I can loop a legion for the rest of the game if he chases me, then my Adrenaline pops and I didn't even had to mend once.
I can easily cleanse a totem while in DW and as long you can manage an m1 killer, the Legion is a killer without a power.
The new Oni should have been the Legion rework.
Getting in a Feral Frenzy after hitting enough survivors, going into a Bloodrage and downing people left and right.
The Oni moves faster then FF, has an Instant Down, breaks pallets without an add-on and can get stunned without losing his power.
What is the selling point of the Legion at this moment?
If you can loop him entire game it's not problem of Legion but player who plays him. You always need to adjust playstyle based on the killer. If you are the last in the game because he had applied enough pressure throughout the game, then it's not a problem he loops you for the remaining time.
The best killers are not the ones that you cannot loop, but the ones that apply most pressure to ALL survivors. Legion does that well as his ability is great for tracking survivors. This game is 1v4 not 1v1.
-
New speed makes it much easier to catch to other survivors. I also use it to move around map after the hook to the last known location of other survivors (but usually not the whole power). You really have to have a good understanding of where other survivors are located and understand that his power is also great for locating other survivors. I personally love the changes.
-
It's not possible there is nobody. There is always somebody.
-
You have to try the changes yourself. Yeah, they removed synergy with some perks but his new speed is no joke.
I would say if they buffed his add-ons a bit, Legion would be at very good state.

People complain about long lobby queue times. What do you think another game mode will do?
Unless there is bigger player base another game mode is just not a good idea, although it sounds great.
-
Every killer is OP in the right hands, so we need to nerf right hands, not killers.
-
OP created account to create this post and another account to agree with himself :D
That's impressive...and pathetic.
-
Everytime I bring mori, someone brings OoO, cmon...
-
Maybe she was just cold and wanted to stay near the fireplace?
-
Funny how this forum is full of trolls, even funnier that other people just get caught into their trap :D
-
Wait, even more? Poor things.
-
Just have a look at Otzdarva's playstyle. You can for example 99 someone, ignore him and surprise him later to easily down him. It's really powerful. I struggled to stalk to at first but as I said it just needs practice and you can get to beast level :)
-
With Coxcombed Clapper add-on he can be pretty OP if used correctly. And it's fun to play to.
-
If you don't want to stalk and struggle with Ghostface, maybe Wraith would be a better option for you. Tru3 is doing so well with him because he is a good killer overall.
On the other hand if you want to stick with Ghostface you should invest time in learning how to stalk with him, because that's his true (over)power. But this takes practice.
-
Let's call it Spaghetti Demon.
-
My favourites:
1. Silent bing bing, no red stain with Thana, Sloppy, Ruin, Nurses/Stridor - surprise hit and leave to surprise hit someone else
2. Meme 5 Hex superfast full Windstorm totem protector - don't care about gens as survivors can be really thirsty about your totems and not really do gens :D
-
There are good SWF teams and there are bad SWF teams. Bad ones use OoO, green toolboxes, instaheals, DS and other BS.
I just ignore them and laugh at their 15k at the end.

nope.
it's still 3.
You are right, they must have changed it this week as last time I was looking was on Friday :) My bad.
But I am more interested if my assumption about you only have to be on the gen when it finishes is right. Will try that when I get there.
-
They adjusted it to 2 and I also believe that you don't have to fully repair the whole generator - just be on it when it finishes.
-
That's because Legion are played for fun, not for wins :D

What if Plague gets her Corrupt Purge when she has someone hooked and especially if that person is in the basement ? You are gonna hide and leave your teammate to die ?
So you think it's better to go and unhook broken?
I agree with OP. Isn't it natural for everyone to hide when she gets corrupt? I play solo and almost all of the games I had with her she just snowballed because everyone was broken and everyone refused to cleanse just because community says it's the best way to counter her. It is really situational, but I would say cleansing even early can be very helpful.

When people realize that matchmaking it part of server structure and it has nothing to with patches and hotfixes? From what I understand it can be updated at any date without us even knowing.
But anyways, current matchmaking is based on ranking system and as we get closer to the 13th each month the gap between player ranks gets bigger and bigger and matchmaking takes longer and longer. Rank reset system is currently the easiest way how to fix the issue.
-
It depends...

I'm okay with removing add-ons. I mean, killer powers can be useful even without add-ons, right?
Killer add-ons are fine - they have one-time use, but survivors can use them in multiple matches (taken they can survive). Other solution could be that survivor add-ons are also only for single match.
-
From my point of view, toolboxes with add-ons are the biggest issue. You can easily deny early game pressure by using them and snowball it in survivors favour. I would say either remove add-ons completely (items can be useful even without them) or make it so when killer hits you, you will drop your item (without the need to use Franklin's perk).
-
No week ban anymore?
-
@ocafghanistan What's your bloodpoint build for the Legion, if I may ask?
Oh, yeah, and my current favourites are Dwight and Ghostface
-
Wait, but what about people who will get their teeth removed the next week? The event would be already over, but now it won't and they will have to play with pain.
-
Will try, thanks.
-
I would say anything that helps you see the survivors' auras. BBQ, Tinkerer, Bitter Murmur and maybe Shadowborn.
-
Base cool down duration is 3s. With both add-ons applied it's 1.25s. From my experience using both add-ons is really strong but also gets a bit time to get used to the playstyle. Ideal is to hit in frenzy once then catch them, run in front of them, cancel frenzy and hit them with M1.
-
People who don't like facing The Legion should just play him, period.
I play Legion and I am so happy to face one because of unique gameplay against them. And I'm doing good against them because playing as Legion helped me understand his weaknesses. -
That's exactly the play for which the Legion is hated

I play Legion for the fun of the chases not because I can down someone efficiently. I had many survivors said in the chat that I was the first Legion they really enjoyed because playing fair, not tunneling and not caring about 4k, but mostly having fun.
I hope there are more fair and non-ape Legions out there so Legion's reputation can be increased
-
Bumpy Billy build. Just rev your chainsaw and go straight until you bump to something. Very often some survivor just stands in front of the chainsaw as they are curious creatures. Then you act very surprised that you hit him. After the game is done don't forget to say in chat "Stop calling me bumpy Billy, my chainsaw is broken."
-
PC reboot. The issue seems to be related to Windows updates and/or OS networking.
-
Reboot helped me with the issue the other day, so you might want to try that.
-
"You can be a best looper in the world and The Legion still gets you." - that's what FunGoose said in one of his streams adding that playing against The Legion is annoying. I agree, it is annoying when all you can do is countered easily. Legion counters people who just cheekily try to get your attention but on the other hand he has hard time against sneaky players - that's my experience from playing The Legion.
-
I play The Legion now and I see there are good survivors who understand how to play against them. Yes, it's still very rare (1/20) but they can give me some wasted time chasing them. While I understand all that "it's not fun play against The Legion" because you cannot loop him or jungle gym him, but there are counterplays, survivors just need to adjust their gameplay.
You don't see killers complaying about pallet looping or building looping, which is also boring as hell when you don't know how to counter it. -
You will get better, just need to practice, don't worry

Also have you tried Predator perk? It makes the scratch marks much more clear. -
I am happy when I see survivors bringing BPS, so this really surprise me. But on the other hand I am not busted 4k ape who takes the game seriously and rather have fun in matches
-
I see it as an opposite of tbagging. Something like "You...you...I see what you are doing there." I play very fair and friendly killer so that's my explanation
-
Decrease time for these addons
Considerably - 1s
Moderately - 0.75s
Slightly - 0.5s
-
Tell me how many survivors in the current meta expect that you will be running Bitter Murmur and stay near the generator? From my experience as rank 1 killer and rank 1 survivor it's around 1/20 which I have noticed, as you still can see them even if it's harder and then let's say another 1/30 which I missed. So I'm still fine with thatDwightsLifeMatters said:
And how u get the information how many survivors are around the done gen if they stay in the bubble area? Exactly, 0 informationwladimiiir said:After I started using it I think it's the best perk there is. But to be honest I have never noticed that the bubble would bother me. The most important thing is which way survivors are running not on which side of generator they crouch, so I think the perk is completely fine
