There's a good chance that cages will be changed to count as hooks for perks, but overall wouldn't that be a nerf to PH?
The only reason y play PH is because i can ignore DS so i hope they don't nerf that aspect

Mad Grit + Agitation with hag/trapper = Multiple reports accusing you of cheating

Never happened to me i guess it's a bug

Is using toolboxes really sweat? Don't they last 5 seconds?
I suppose he's refering to Brand new part squads or disarm squads with the 1 less hook offering.

This is exactly what i do when i don't want to deal with it. It's not even a problem since i have to wait at most 1 extra minute.
-
It has a use but i'd say that most survivors do this because they've seen other people do it and don't know exacly why.
-
I don't know if it has changed the killrate but it certainly has made the game much more enjoyable overall. But yeah that's over a span of years when it should be months or weeks. I agree this game needs competition, the significant changes are very slow and lazy.

What do you mean by "any other competitive game"? I'm not used to see massive amounts of balance changes in competitive games, especially if they're mature.
I guess shooters like CSGO where there's not that much to tweak changes don't make sense, but they are not needed because it's already balanced. But games like MOBAs that have a lot of variables have a lot of changes constantly. Look at Dota 2 for example. And I think DBD has a lot of variables like MOBAs and should be held to the same standard.

Bubba and Billy. The chainsaw dudes make very fun chases. Also like nurses (in moderation) because of the unique way to juke her. Oh and the ranged killers like Deathslinger and Huntress, they also have a different approach to the chase.
The only killer that i think i hate in a chase is spirit because I might aswell go gamble in the casino before guessing what she's gonna do. Or stealth her wich is also boring.
-
Sometimes wonder what's Behaviour's intention on making such small and low frequency changes on perks/killers. Any other competitive game recive exponentially more changes, entire pages of tweaks and don't seem afraid of screwing up the balance because they can allways revert or tweak them.
-
I mean, you said it yourself, a begginer nurse is NOT supposed to win. Just git gud an eventually you will get 4k in 5 minutes. Just take the Ls and don't let those games get into your head, you will get there some day and there will be no looking back.
-
I actually agree. I laugh at people walking around the map all the time just not to "waste" sprint burst and when i approach them as killer i just switch targets as soon as they sprint away.

NOED is fine. Killers are constantly complaining that totems are out in the open and next to gens making them too easy for survivors to cleanse. Totems don't take long to cleanse, the only reason they become an issue in solo lobbies is because of the mentality of thinking they are a waste of time. Survivors would rather risk NOED and leave behind teammate at end than prevent it and have all escape. I see plenty of killers in red ranks use NOED if they aren't running Ruin/Undying because when you get up to red/purple ranks most survivors ignore the totems. NOED shouldn't be changed just because survivors don't feel like doing totems.
And the thing is they shouldn't do totems, it's a waste of time most of the time. They just have to spot them and go back late game when they suspect NOED is coming and could have an effect. At least this is what i do, i never do totems unless there's undying.
-
By the end of the game survivors must have spotted every dull totem and go check them if they suspect that there's NOED. If you don't have the chance to do this just take the L and leave the downed survivor die before more casualties. You have to remember that the killer used one perk that is only at use at the end game that could have been countered and maybe if he used another perk he could've killed someone else or extended the game. People like to overestimate the effect of NOED because it is very immediate and feels unfair, but it is not op by any means.
I have a bad feeling that if people still complain about NOED they will ######### cry with the new change to undying making Devour a meta perk.

I wish i knew that i could do a lunge attack and that bubba can use multiple charges in one swing animation.

i have had multiple games where the survivor just sat there as i walked up to them and just happily completed the gen while i attempt to grab them. It isn't a one off occurrence.
Dedicated servers might be the cause, but like sitting under the hook while slugged, it is being abused willingly.
I actually like when survs slug themselves under the hook, it gives me a reason to facecamp the hooked person.
-
- Spirit, everybody except spirit mains hate her.
- Trapper: If you die near basement you are not getting out of there
- Freddy: Snoozefest
-
I really don't mind and ignore the toxic messages after game but i'm surprised many people here seem to be getting very few of those. I get some hate at least 1 per 3 games ratio.
-
Reduce Pig's time to crouch and stand up, it's ridiculous. Make it like ghostface. But i guess pig is crazy op and they won't do something so simple ;(
-
For me it's Cowshed and Haddonfield constantly, sometimes you get periods of really bad luck.
-
Because it works. Huntress is a slow killer and is good at defending positions so it makes sense to patrol close hooks and gens. It is the correct way to play her IMO.
-
I've seen just one obvious one, but i bet there are many sneaky wallhacks out there.
-
I frankly couldn't care less about that because people turn brightness on on dark maps so it's better that none of them are dark for the few people that don't do that.
-
Make them suffer.
-
Plus i don't know if they fixed recently but last month was buggy as ######### and unplayable.
-
Yes please, i want to be able to play him without addons or with OTHER addons than those boring recovery ones. Feels so bad.
-
-
Haddonfield is a giant map with structures everywhere, and has an infinite if the survivor knows what to do.
Oh and if someone brings OoO the Silent Hill's School map is the ######### worse thing there is, the whole map becomes a giant loop and you can't ever reach the survivors. I remember getting this map against a SWF group with 2 OoO. When they don't bring this perk it's probably one of the mest maps though.
The other map that makes my blood boil is Cowshed, don't even have to explain on this one.
-
I hope they revert the Pyramid Head rework, it would be a nice QoL
-
I've never even bothered to learn Billy just because of this mechanic. I chose nurse instead that i found as difficult to play as billy but with higher rewards than him.
-
Hag if you are into gilfs, for everyone else Trapper
-
i've allways prefered empathy before bond because of the massive range and you can pretty much know the location of a killer anytime he is in a chase with a temmate, but with this new buff bond can be pretty neat.
-
Sometimes it feels the average employee at Behaviour works 2 hours a day so even doing something as simple is hard work.

I feel that on many occasions I have been saved before I get put on the hook for the last time. Just within the week I would have died instead of escaping for at least 3 of the games that I played. So I feel that them always being able to do this instead of it being a resource would be slightly unbalanced.
You can't be saved if you are the last survivor alive, and this is how the yellow mori works. It would just be a way to end the game a bit faster and in a more satisfying way when everything is already decided. And would be a very very slight nerf to ds in the off chance that the last survivor had DS and a had key to open the hatch or the gate was open, wich is complete bullshit imo.
-
This is a great idea and a satisfying way to end a game. And we could remove the yellow mori from the game since it's a waste of blood points.
-
Thanks for the answers guys. I just need to git gud. The addon is good for learning but i should have alternated, and try to focus on my timings and less on the marker.

There is no way to differenciate that.
If there was a way around, people would just pull the plug, alf-f4 or something like that to prevent the penalty.
That's factually not true and you clearly don't know what you talk about. When you exit any program there's an exit code that tells what triggered it; if it's an error it tells of what type, if it's a manual exit, if it's a network failure, etc.

The only thing wrong with the DC penalty is that it is not long enough.
I would 100% agree with this if the DC penalty discriminated between crashes and ragequits.

Fav
1- Pig: Has different possible playstiles, one that i love is the late game build, and saving the traps for midgame. Love the desperation and seing heads pop.
2- Pyramid Head: Being able to not get hit by ds should be enough to make me love it.
3- Bubba: Cutting chases short, downing multiple people and facecamping toxic people.
Hate
1- Huntress: Hate the hitboxes and hate looping with hatch prepped, feels so awkward.
2- Myers: Waste so much time stalking and the fact that you have limited stalk from 1 survivor that might be the one that keeps showing up irritates me.
3- Blight: Feels even more difficult to play than nurse and less rewarding. Plus the fov makes me want to puke.
-
You can't be afraid of punching bags so no.
-
just nerf ds that if he starts an objective it deactivates and everything is fine, you could even make it unlimited time instead of 1 minute
-
Behaviour has 600 employees. They could add so much content without bugs and balance the game at the same time if they decided to work more than 2 hours a day. But since DBD is a unique game everyone will buy it anyway since there's no competition and no incentive to make changes fast.

Any new player would find Spirit much more difficult to play than most the other killers.
Now that is not to be misconstrued with they wouldn't get as many kills. If they're new they would be facing other new survivors to the game. Playing against Spirit requires more skill than against other killers. IE them playing dumb against her and running in a straight line while she's phasing doesn't me she is easier.
People misinterpret Spirit as being easy because other survivors don't know how to play against her.
IE more kills =/= she is easier.
Well that's what i said, being mechanicly simple doesn't necessarily make it new player friendly. But it makes experienced players with 0 experience with spirit easy to play her.
-
How about just remove them, the same way they did with moris?
-
@valvarez4 said:
Well, survs can have a perk as pgtw: when you’re unhooked and you touch a gen in 45secs this gen is done 25% more.. Or a perk like noed: at egc you move faster and the killer needs 3 hits to put you in dying state.
that means they should nerf pgtw and noed?
Are you aware that survivor perks are supposed to be 4 times weaker than killer perks? How does this comparison makes the slightest sense?
-
OoO should reveal all the SWF members to the killer, not just the object.
-
This is terrible, super OP even if it was Ultra-rare. Marking a survivor would mean 100% kill.

90% of the killer roster can be played well with very basic game knowledge of looping and map pressure, that's it. Spirit is one of a few killers that on top of those things requires movement prediction similar to Nurse and muscle memory for pinpointing location from sound while phasing and blind.
This feels like something that shouldn't even need to be explained to me.
You could know nothing at all about 90% of the killer rosters powers and still do decent if you have map pressure and loop knowledge. That some statement doesn't apply to killers like Spirit.
I agree that spirit needs game knowledge and general experience with killers, but she is mechanically very simple. She is one of the easiest killers to get into once you are already into killers. It's like the perfect killer to pick once you know how the game works.
-
"Normally i just kill myself on hook against him, not because i want to be that one player or ruin my teammates game" lmao stop playing DBD please, everyone will thank you.

First of all, DS isn't exclusively supposed to be a anti tunnel perk
Let me do a question.
First clip: If you know nea got recently unhooked and there's a obsession, why did you pick her up? you could slug her and keep chasing claudette...
Second clip: (Exactly what I said in first clip)
So it seems to be the problem is you, and it is really funny that you complain about DS and use ruin + undying..
Why wouldn't he when ruin/undying is getting nerfed and DS isn't???
