Generators are very boring, nothing interesting about them except that it is the only way to escape , all that happens is just pressing a button and seeing the tape slowly advance
And you keep repeating this thing several times (watching the tape progress slowly) , 7 years have passed and nothing has changed in generators except an increase in repair time, nothing more
I think it's time to do something about it
"The survivors repair the generators very quickly! " This doesn't change anything and I think that's the only fun thing about generators, which is watching the tape progress quickly but it's very little fun
Please we don't want to wait another five years
BhVR: “Due to many comments like this from surviving players, we will shorten the generator repair time to 5 seconds.”
-
This improves the number of Gen's that can be fixed before first down from 4 to 3.
Shouldn't we already have everything in our possession by default from the beginning?
-
They weakened Alien, which was not considered a problem, right after its release, while neglecting MFT, which was much talked about, for about 6 months. I think this kind of attitude is discouraging both Killer Survivor and Killer Survivor players from taking this game seriously.
I will play TCM for a while. Even though the balancing is still rough, I feel from the updates up to this point that they want to provide a comfortable gameplay experience for both camps.
-
An experienced survivor can count the second hand on the clock next to his desk from the time he was hung, BhVR says.
-
On the Asian servers it is the exact opposite. The BP bonus on the killer side is almost 100% except at dawn or when a new killer is implemented, and you can find a match in as little as 5 seconds. On the other hand, even if miraculously a 100% bonus is applied to the survivor, you will have to wait at least 10 minutes.
-
Why don't we just make permanent the bug that is occurring now, which requires the window-skipping process to work in favor of male survivors?
Otherwise, there is no reason other than preference to use anything other than a female character who is basically petite and easily hidden in the shadows.
-
If you ask me, I only use it because the majority of other killers are unattractive. They are one of the few killers that are fun to play with and to confront as a survivor.
If they are going to fix him, they will first adjust the obscure hitboxes on all the maps. I'm not holding my breath though, as in some cases, like Red Forest, reworking it makes it even worse: ......
-
Until jeff played a killer on live TV and VCPT beat him to death with a combo. The light nerf and hag enhancements came after the official live broadcast.
-
He has already had an unannounced nerf this year that has changed the behavior of the AIs into something silly. I have reported bugs over and over again and they get stuck on the edge of stairs or run off in the wrong direction unable to get through window sills or boards. You want me to make them any weaker?
-
If you are going to play a killer, practice only nurses. The other killers are either weakened to the point of uselessness or made to have uninteresting abilities that are not differentiated from the others.
If you play Survivor, it will work as long as you don't get hung up on the wrong character or stick to a particular play style. The key is to be aware that you have to repair 5 generators and interject other tasks as appropriate, such as recovering allies to accomplish this.
-
But going out of your way to make things worse for killer is never going to be justifiable.

POV: You get dodged for having two of the same characters
Under normal circumstances, we would not mind at all, but if they have the same skin, charms, or mixed names or call themselves Pulsar, we will consider exiting.

Here's the thing, the MMR tries to put us all against players with similar win-rates or whatever, but it's also very concerned about wait times. Players that are waiting a while start becoming a priority, so matches just get matched regardless of experience.
I get the same thing, I'm getting lots and lots of brand new players mixed in, especially since Xeno. New players pouring in, we vets have to just do our duty.
Used to just be completely random, I don't know what's better.
There are not a noticeable number of new players. I feel that the intermediate and advanced player base has been sloughed off, and as a result, I am being matched up with more and more beginners.
We are concerned that beginners regularly come in through streamers, influencers' videos, distribution, and collaboration killers, but the percentage that sticks around and becomes intermediate or above is likely to be small.
-
Are you playing in anonymous mode or have a ban history on steam? If it were me, I would leave lobbies with such players to avoid matches with cheaters.

It's A/B testing.
Some have it hidden while some don't.
BHVR takes the stats from these tests to determine if player behavior changes.
My opinion, P100 is just the new P3 and monthly rank before that. Not many know this, but your rank used to be displayed years ago. A lot of people said lobby dodging was because of it too. BHVR removed it and guess what? Players still dodged lobbies.
Whether I am playing Survivor or Killer, if I enter the same lobby with a group of 2-4 people with similar names with the same characters and skins, or a group where everyone has a toolbox and lights, I will leave. I don't want to go through a long wait to play one game of Survivor just to experience a one-sided game at the end of it, or play with a party whose goal is trolling, not escape.
-
Looking at the current Survivor Queue wait times, as long as it is not possible to prepare matches for killer opponents with equal skill ratings, all information that can give us an idea of our opponents' abilities will be kept private in the future.
-
Because of the matchmaking and map issues, most games are already becoming just a pallet tour or repairing gen at this point. Only occasionally there is an interesting match where you fight to the death with an expert brite or nurse.
-
BhVR is crazy to think that players will be satisfied with just a 3cm increase in movement speed per second in adjusting add-ons.
-
Knight was weakened one day by having its fellow AI made stupid, and SM is about to be made into a helpless woman after a lost adjustment. Singularity continues to suffer from the judgment of objects on the map, and Alien got a major nerf less than a month after its release.
The only reason to buy Killer now is to port the new PARK to Nurse etc.
-
Helpless against VCPT. The younger brother has to do a palette-splitting tour with his sister, who is carried away and helpless for long periods of time, and the knockdown strategy is garbage in front of the voice chat.
-
If you had played only Survivor, you would have played for a long time; if you had played Killer, you and your friends would have probably quit the game after an hour.
DbD in the last 2 years or so has become a very comfortable environment to play Survivor with a lot less stress, HUD added, basekit BT, balancing with map rework, killer's park obsolescence, etc.... Still not enough?
-
We don't have enough killer players or playable killer options to do that now.
-
As long as MFT is in the environment, it will be left alone for a while because it is not necessary to deal with acceleration cheaters individually.
-
BT, Unbreakable... In 2024, Survivor will have 13 base kit perks.

I dont really understand how someone can really think that this is Made For This. She is not much slower than the Doctor while being healthy.
She is clearly cheating.
When defending the L-shaped window chase or hook, it accelerates abnormally even though it is in a healthy state.
-
The last survivor will beckon you over the hatch and rant "ez noob killer" in endgame chat. Not all survivors are guaranteed to be, but there's no guarantee that you or your friends aren't bad players.
-
After repeated adjustments from BhVR, only trained veteran killers survived.
-
I think there's a minority of killer players who want to play in a lobby with 4 characters of the same skin holding flashlights and toolboxes. Will you act as the SWF team's partner instead?
-
Survivor seems to be based on beginners who have just started, and killers are based on seasoned veterans and high MMR, so we can't expect any improvement.
-
“We were happy with how the Hillbilly performed, but we made some subtle adjustments.”
Based on what BhVR said when he nerfed Hillbilly, he may be desperate to receive the buff.
-
The window for Survivors has been greatly enhanced in the latest patch, making killers other than nurses much harder to chase depending on the terrain. I'd like to play Killer for the first time in a while, but will there be an update that makes me want to do something?
-
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yw_r_kBAoKs
Enjoy chasing undying ming.
-
Just like with Billy. They seriously believe that this update is a "deep" adjustment that will lead to enhancements.
-
If a hatch appears after hooking you, the last one may make an insulting gesture in front of the killer's eyes before running away and shouting "ez" or "u noob" in the end-game chat. Yes, players who have played Killer have experienced this to a greater or lesser degree.
Slagging you off and looking for the last man standing is a necessary act for the peace of mind of the killer player.
-
There are many patterns that are not your fault. If the terrain you follow in your first chase is too strong for Survivors generation, you will be penalized for whatever you do at that point.
Of course, there are also Maps that are punished at the start of the match.
-
After the implementation of the new Killer, I feel that the spawn of Survivors has changed. It's kind of a training wheel for players who probably can't find Gen and don't have Dejav yet.
-
Chase with Made for this and Dead Hard is very comfortable and I will continue to use it until it gets nerfed. According to CoH standards, it can be used for about 2 years. My condolences to all M1 killers.
-
The existence of bugs in DBD is like a philosophy. Because I don't know what's a bug and what's by design.
Unexplained bugs and bugs that cannot be fixed are left unaddressed and eventually become specifications.
-
It's a plea from BhVR to play Killer once in a while.
-
It's convenient to have it, but the gen rush is so serious that there's no such frame. It doesn't lead to shortening the chase time either.
If there are 6 killer park slots, I can adopt it, but it is impossible at present.
-
I've used it many times since the PTB, and I thought it was too strong, but I didn't think it would be implemented as is. BhVR doesn't understand the significance of extending the loop by 1 lap and adding 10 seconds while the HUD tells allies that they are chasing. I've only played Survivor since it came out yesterday, and I won't be playing Killer even daily for the time being. I'm tired of playing games with Nurse.
-
A message from the management that anyone other than a nurse is a killer that is not worth using
-
The community manager said it will be implemented before the universe comes full circle. yeah, they're serious.
-
On top of that, because of Survivor's new perk, you won't know until the end of the match if you're using acceleration cheats, and all matched players will be left in a daze.
-
The development management once said to killer players, "Relax your shoulders and play like you're going for a walk." I also say "Go to civ" at other times.

They did - it's called +10s extra gen repair time and 2.5% progress loss on kick
If you can't stop gens, im afraid that's a you problem and not a game problem
I raised your hourly wage by 10 cents and changed your locker to a 3 cm taller one. Still cheap and not enough storage? That's your problem, not the workplace's problem.
-
I'm just playing Zelda right now. Whether or not I can go back to dedicating 4,50 hours a month to Survivor and killer at least after this depends on future updates.

If you can't 4k on every single map with every single Killer, I really don't see why that's the dev's fault and not a simple example of skill issue.

Perhaps the map coordinator was empty and pulled out the person who was working on the design in 2016. Otherwise the terrible rework of Red Forest cannot be explained.
-
yes. Killers, which was basically renewed from generic music to original ones, has gone bad. Nurse is particularly noticeable and is perceived as a de facto nerf. I give my opinion every player survey, but it's getting worse and worse, so BhVR probably wants to destroy the eardrums of Killer players.
-
Instead, we've increased the volume of the Nurse's chase music and fixed it so that you can't hear the moaning of crawling Survivors again.
