What's wrong with this ?
Our ranks are now close than the previous ones, which is better than the old rank resets. Top players stay with top players, noobs stay with noobs.
Having to deal with skilled killers is good, that's how you learn what mistakes you've done and you should do to be better and as effective as you are rn.

The Pig also needs some form of an EGC compensation or compromises with her RBTS. And Closing the hatch should absolutely activate RBTS.
I also personally believe that the pigs primary/passive ability should synergize with her gadgets.
Maybe Ambush attacks could prematurely start the timers on RBTS or penalize time 15 seconds if it is already activated.
I agree, the RBT must apply a similar effect to Thanatophobia

Think of it less like annihilation, and more as a learning experience for them. It's a great way for them to learn. Tough love, as it were. It's like when you teach your kid to swim, and just throw them in the pool. You're there to make sure things don't go bad, but it's a good way to help them learn their instinctual skills.
Similarly, throwing a team of rank 17's against a high rank or decent killer is the same; and BHVR has their back because they don't lose a rank if they lose at rank 17. So, they have nothing to lose, and only experience to gain.

It's a band-aid, not a solution. You'll pip up again unless you play Corner Wraith every other game.
Even then, it doesn't reduce your chances of facing a good SWF. Rank 10 Killers can be matched against Red Rank Survivors.
The devs have also changed Rank Reset. This Friday the 13th, Red Ranks will become Rank 5s instead of Rank 10s. You won't even face different players; just the same SWFs you faced yesterday.

A good ghostface can directly stalk the hook without being revealed. One of the cheapest tactics I do on him is run a mori, hook someone, and sit right next to the hook behind a bush or something. When you hear someone coming for the save, you pop out and instantly stab the guy being unhooked for the mori. Can't stop it with BT, DS, or any other way really. If you do it well they won't even know you are there, it's one of my best tactics for quickly defeating a SWF.
That’s what I did for the challenge that required to kill a certain amount of survivors.
Wasn’t really fun for them but who cares ? lol
