Imo just significantly reduce their effects and/or replace them with something completely different. I don’t think extra fatigue would be terribly fun to play with.

It is a mori. With no 2-hook-requirement. This shouldnt be happening all the time
It shouldn't be happening all the time but it also shouldn't be something you can ignore 95% of the time, because that's what it is right now.
As it is, Condemned is really not a threat at all and if you die to it you probably made a LOT of mistakes. It's not worth interacting with TVs when condemned doesn't build up quickly enough to do anything and when they have such a long cooldown after being used for teleporting. It would be a lot more excusable if it was at least okay at slowing the game down by forcing survivors to interact with tapes to avoid the mori but it doesn't even do that most of the time. At least pig traps actually force survivors to waste time searching jigsaw boxes.

I wonder if theyll let people heal themselves as base kit but make heal speeds overall slower or something. That could be an interesting change.
I don't see why they would do that. The game doesn't need that kind of change.

I don't see this anywhere in the patch notes. I hate to believe something that can have a huge effect on how a game plays out wouldn't be documented anywhere.
Here (it was in 5.5.1, not 5.5.2, my bad)

Reduce Deathslinger’s Terror Radius to 24m and nerf M&A’s effect on 24m killers. There’s only like two anyways that don’t have a lullaby: Hag, Spirit.
They could make it 25% instead of 8 meters. So on 32m tr killers it would be the same, but on killers with a smaller tr it would have a lower effect.

Trickster has a lullaby? Are you sure?
He does but it’s weird. Basically it’s like a curve where it fades in as you get closer starting from 40m, peaks at 24m, and then gets quieter until 8m at which point it fades out entirely. So if he has tinkerer it sounds like he’s getting close to you and then leaving, when he’s actually right on top of you. The fadeout isn’t noticeable normally because the terror radius starts at 24m.
-
For those boons, 6 and 8 are completely broken and 9 is just bad design. I like 3 and 4 though.
Also Shattered Hope is a bandaid fix perk and should not be viewed as proper counterplay. Killer shouldn’t need a perk to address a poorly designed gameplay mechanic.
-
She’s still very good. And when IW gets nerfed that’s going to be huge for her.
-
Yes, but boons need to be redesigned first. Until then it can’t be buffed

Doesn't he have a lullaby?
Nope.
-
They should've just given him a 24m lullaby.
-
They have said they will be making baseline adjustments to go with the perk changes.
You’re absolutely correct about Shattered Hope though. It’s a bandaid for a bigger issue, although I would argue the core design of boons is inherently flawed, not just coh. Coh is just the biggest offender because it’s by far the most powerful boon perk.
-
It’s fine now. If there’s any remaining spots on certain maps where survivors can’t be hooked, then that’s a map design issue that needs to be addressed, and I do think hooks breaking permanently after sacrifice needs to go.
-
It’s mostly pointless right now, but it’s confirmed to be bugged so it should hopefully be better when the chapter goes live.
-
Shattered Hope is a bad perk. I wouldn’t worry about it too much.
-
Yeah, this has not been fixed, I had this happen a couple weeks ago and was also accused of cheating.
-
They said on twitter a month ago to reach out to support if you still haven’t gotten them.

Idk. It’s not only a bad perk, but it just further highlights how boon totems are a complete failure. Coh is too strong and everything else is useless 90% of the time but the bad boons can’t be buffed without becoming unfair. They suck and need to be redesigned.
-
They wouldn’t be a problem if the maps themselves were balanced. But several aren’t.

Hm all right thats good. i would be fine if they removed one of the windows but all 3.. nah
I mean the map is overdue for a rework anyways. That double window setup shouldn't exist
-
Sure why not. Especially if we can encourage people to use lesser-used perks for the sake of more variety, I don't see any issue with that.
-
It's a bug, there's an acknowledged bug report on this already.

@Adjatha said:
It should work on dull totems (with the same aura-reading radius) as well as boons. Problem solved.
If it did that then its pentimento synergy would have to be removed.
-
I think it just needs to be that injured survivors still have regular breathing instead and then it would probably be fine.
If you don't want to go that route then you could make it only work while not moving as some others above have already suggested.

Quoting this comment so I can come back and remember it when it doesn’t happen.
I don't think it'll be super common but someone will do it eventually. That doesn't justify not giving it a secondary effect, though.
-
I'm very excited for the game's future for the first time in a while. If they properly address the meta and implement baseline changes to go with it then it's going to be a huge step in the right direction, imo. Looking forward to the prestige overhaul and RPD rework as well.
-
It would have been an issue on artist if they didn't change it. But it could use a buff now.
-
NOED isn't overpowered, just cheap.
There are plenty of ways to make it better and more fair without nerfing it into the ground.
-
Hag. I refuse to play her. Even when I did a challenge a few months back involving playing every killer I skipped over her, I didn't care enough to play her.
-
BBQ. That‘s it.
Perks like BT and DS are only healthy as long as some of the game’s baseline mechanics aren’t adjusted at all, which they should be.
-
Nah I still enjoy him. It was rough at first right after the nerf but I’m used to it now
-
I got value once against an infinite tier 3 myers who didn’t bother snuffing since he probably assumed it was coh
-
This was removed in 5.5.1. And yes you can potentially have to bleed someone out now which is part of why the change is stupid and should be reverted imo.

@scenekiller said:
It doesn’t need one. You’re taking that chance by bringing it.
There are a plethora of survivor perks that depend on the killer’s behavior, or can be negated by the killer not doing or bringing something - heck, even the occasional meta perk like DS can be completely negated.
it’s completely valid and ok for killers to have some perks like this also.
I disagree because the killer’s perks matter more.
If one survivor brings a perk that depends on the killer’s behavior, and they don’t get to use it, oh well. That’s 1 perk out of their 4, but their teammates all still have 4 perks.
If a killer uses a perk slot on something that doesn't help them, they’ve wasted a fourth of their entire perk loadout.
@Satelit said:
In wouldn't be the first perk that does nothing if the other side doesn't have something specific.Distortion is useless if there's no aura reading from the killer.
Distortion still gives you the info that certain aura perks AREN’T present in the trial, which is info you couldn’t easily have otherwise. So it’s not useless.
-
This bug has already been fixed.

Autodidact. It's close to being a really fun perk, but it's just a killer perk at the moment.
As a frequent autodidact user, try it with empathic connection. I’ve had a fair amount of success with that.
-
I mean I already think she should be nerfed but once DH is nerfed even more so.
-
For me it’s noed.
I do agree that picking someone up with wglf should give you a token though.
-
Yeah it does continue to stack up. It also happens with small game; it will stop at 5 on the perk counter but it actually does keep going up past that. When you get to 9 the detection cone is 0 and you can't use it anymore, it's kinda funny.
Some counterforce stats:
Default: 14
1st totem: 11.67
2nd totem: 10
3rd totem: 8.75
4th totem: 7.78
5th totem: 7
6th totem: 6.36
7th totem: 5.83
8th totem: 5.38
9th totem: 5
10th totem: 4.67
-
If Deadlock is used then no.
-
Absolutely. You can’t afford to waste time against killers running 4 slowdowns. But likewise that same killer can lose quickly without them, so it goes both ways.
Imo, when they do nerf regression perks this summer, prove thyself should be changed as well.
-
Azarov’s Resting Place 100%.
Suffocation Pit can be rough against some killers but the center tile layouts can be ridiculous sometimes.
-
@humanbeing1704 said:
Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't that was small game did when the game launched before totems existed
Yeah and then totems were added to it later and it tracked both. Then last year they removed traps from it.

I'm not sure I understand... you just accumulate more wiggle progress when they pick you back up.
I think wiggle progress regresses while you're on the ground though.
The regression was removed in 5.5.2. They should undo that imo
-
Ngl I clicked on this thread expecting a discussion on why coh is OP but this made me laugh. The endgame chat censor in this game never fails to amaze me with what it filters out sometimes.
-
In most cases DH saves don't work anyways from what I've seen. It's not really hard to predict as killer as long as you're patient and wait a second or two, unless there's a pallet right next to the hook or something. Some killers will not wait and will just insta-swing into the BT, but that's their mistake.
As for your concern regarding Nurse, yeah, she should be nerfed.
-
Well for killer, ideally regression as a whole with some baseline changes so that regression perks don't feel required. NOED also should get reworked.
For survivor, DH and COH, and address camping/tunneling more broadly so that nerfing BT and DS is actually reasonable and not just a horrible idea.
-
There will need to be baseline changes that come with it but it does sound like that is their plan. But they have to do it correctly.
If they nerf the meta without properly accounting for why it's the meta, it's not going to go over well.

Dredge just seems like a better Sadako.
Good map presence but completely unthreatening in chase.
Better sadako who also has an anti-loop tool.
Demo’s not going anywhere, but Dredge just leaves Sadako in the dust.
-
Devour hope is perfectly balanced the way it is though.
-
They do need a cooldown, it just needs to be shorter.
