Pretty sure when I did it, the requirement was each survivor in the game had to be tagged from a biopod, didn't have to be the same biopod.
-
I'm glad they're gone because I was terrible at the grab standoff on both the survivor and killer sides.
-
If I'm not matched against an obvious SWF I consider that a win at this point.
-
If a survivor (or all 4 survivors) want to run no mither to counter corrupt in my games, they're more than free to do so.
-
As usual, the problem is BHVR's choice in matchmaking which doesn't even try to match up skill, instead concentrating on queue times. This is great if you want to get in games immediately where you are either bored to death in (baby survivors) or bullied to the shadow realm (4 man SWF).
-
He's fun, not too difficult to play, fairly effective, etc. Tell BHVR to keep buffing/tuning other killers if you want more variety.
-
Worked fine for me when I got it last night on Steam (after like a dozen games of getting stomped), only thing I can think of is to not be in camera mode when the game ends because previous adepts have been broken similarly when the killer came out (ending game as Victor, locker TPing as Dredge, etc.).
-
I'd rather run bond and find another survivor to heal me. Even running halfway across the map to get healed seems to be faster than self care + any buffs.
-
EMPs need to be nerfed into the ground. Once I can actually use or chain my power, then it'll actually be fun to try out and play with.

You can. You will just probably not win. Or do you only learn when you get 4Ks and you dont learn when you get 0Ks? You know that this is not how it works.
Your MMR should settle after a few games.
MMR has never settled or worked properly since SBMM was implemented. Games as killer are 45% all god survivors, 45% all baby survivors, and 10% matched properly.
-
It'd be fun to play if every single time I tried to use my power it wasn't insta-EMPed.
-
I'm pretty sure the best way to play this killer is to not use their power at all and just go M1 only. Trying to use your power is just a waste of time since it's gonna be EMPed the second you actually try to do anything useful with it.
-
I've gotten two games on The Game map in a row and each EMP seems to cover the entire map in terms of cleansing other survivors and biopods.
-
The power is fun, but it's countered by an EMP almost constantly, even after the nerfs from the PTB. I shudder at how badly the Singularity is going to get stomped once everyone gets used to them, even though your average SWF bully squad already is.
-
As a survivor I never had problems having an EMP handy or picking one up. As a killer, the survivors always seemed to have an EMP handy.

Apparently due to "server degradation" the kill switch isn't working.
I don't really say this lightly, but maybe the DC penalty should be temporarily removed.
Probably can't disable the DC penalty for the same reason they can't turn on the kill switch.
-
The neat thing is, matchmaking barely tries to match by skill, it's all about faster queue times. So this is why you'll have games where your teammates are barely sentient and other games where your teammates are literally space Jesus. I haven't found any consistency in matchmaking and they need to just give up on it and go back to grade-based matchmaking, which while flawed, is still miles better than what we have now.
-
That's why you run like hell from your team when you hear the sound cue when you load in.
-
People are complaining about being genrushed when what they should be complaining about is SBMM being useless/busted and putting them against survivors way too high skilled for who they should be facing.
-
I'd say eventually you'll drop to an MMR that'd work better for you, but MMR is set up to prioritize queue times instead of skill-matching, so you can still run into juiced up 4-man SWFs even after a 20 game loss streak.
-
Inner Healing, a brown medkit, and Bond to find a teammate to heal you are all great options I utilize. There aren't too many killers that do hit and run these days, so you won't usually need more than a heal or three before you escape or are sacrificed.
-
Pretty sure that unless you file an actual support ticket in conjunction with an in-game report, BHVR doesn't care about in-game reports, so you aren't hurting anyone you accidentally report.
-
The MMR take doesn't need to be super accurate, but I'm pretty sure everyone can agree that the current system is even worse than the previous rank/grade system was.
-
It's been non-stop facecamping here, but complaining about killers at this point isn't going to fix it. You've instead got to lobby for the anti-camp measures to be put live today, without a PTB, even with whatever bugs are left in the system. I'd frankly take that at this point.
-
The real suggestion for the anti-camping feature is to put it live right now in whatever development state it is, it can't be worse than the live game no matter the bugs.
-
You've had years to enjoy them while others did not. That's what you got.
-
The devs would need to make more of the lower tier killers more fun/viable to play if you want more parity in killer choices.
-
The time before SBMM was introduced.
-
They aren't ever going to fix matchmaking, because they prioritize queue times over even slightly trying to match up MMR. Hence the times as killer where you'll go up against 4 brand new solo queue players one match but the sweatiest SWF depip bully squad ever created the next. You've either got to learn to live with it or quit the game.
-
Gotta have the devs remove all hatch based archive challenges then.
-
I am once again asking you to stop making these challenges, especially with the "get 3 stuns in a single game" challenge showing up again. Everyone either respects pallets or it's just a train of killers that ignore them or with instadowns. I even run blast mine, but no one wants to kick gens since the overcharge/call of brine nerfs.
-
If they're wise, they won't do that. Imagine the drama around either adding or not adding the Taiwanese flag.
-
100% disagree, actually being able to hit attacks in the 99.9% scenario where dead hard isn't available/active is much more fun than "chase a survivor for 10 seconds right behind them, swing, and still get dead harded" that I ran into constantly before the patch. If someone's slightly fast for 3 seconds or whatever, it's much less frustrating.
-
The constant camping and tunneling whenever I play as survivor is a real bummer. Shame the devs won't do anything about it.
-
So tunneling will occur in 90% of the games instead of 75% now?
-
God yes, this challenge is actually garbage and secondary attacks might make it slightly less awful to do. Even with the M1 killers, they've got such garbage ping that trying to pallet stun them for this is almost impossible as they'll hit you through the pallet with every swing or won't swing at all.
-
So what you're saying is dodging lobbies needs to be made even easier? Also, how would this work with people hiding their profiles? Would you know whether they're on the red list or not?
-
Only if they make his stealth break out more consistent. I'm staring directly at them with them in the middle of the screen while he's stalking me and it won't break them out.
-
Thank you for your sacrifice in not playing 3-gen skull merchant, unlike the toxic skull merchant I just faced on midwich who was able to cover half the map and both floors with their bullshit for 45 minutes.
-
Imagine BHVR making either a survivor challenge that:
- Wasn't bugged/broken
- Was actually not god ######### awful to complete
-
Still asking for this. I've got the "unhook someone who previously unhooked you" and "dodge a hit from a killer" challenges as possible challenges, and whichever one I select, the other one is the one I would have made progress on in a match. It's extremely vexing and a waste of my time, whereas if my original proposals was enacted or even "two challenges from the same role active at once", I'd wouldn't be so annoyed.
-
Guess which garbage challenge is back with this tome! And with 6 of these unhooks, no less!
-
Yep, still bugged for me on PC - Steam as well.
-
Yeah, was ranting about this earlier as well after a set of games where I'd be doing well as killer trying to get an adept and then people would just DC mid game the moment they got downed.
-
I'll trade you not playing against a certain killer for me never having to face SWFs as a killer.
-
Toxicity got a ton worse when instead of community servers, game developers started using sbmm and their own servers to mash randoms together. Instead of finding a decent server with decent people that was well moderated and just playing there, you're forcibly teamed with and against the most depraved and deranged people out there.

"It's bad playing a historically weak Killer who doesn't do well against SWF's into a 4-man SWF"
Uh....yeah, if you play a weak Killer into their worst-case scenario and refuse to use optimal tactics, you should lose. You are choosing to play Trapper. You are choosing not to tunnel. You are choosing not to camp.
This isn't a "Playing Killer at high MMR is terrible" this is, "I don't want to play optimally to win against other people who are also playing optimally."
Survivors: "Why do we only play against Nurse and Blight? I GUESS WE'LL NEVER KNOW."
-
100% needs a rework or at least a massive amount of updates to the add-ons. Even doing the Freddy killer daily is pretty much guaranteeing a loss, even if it's easy to complete.
-
That's your first mistake, being nice. If it ain't a toxic SWF you're running into, it'll be an actual cheater warping across the map, blocking all hooks, being unhittable, etc. Treat survivors like how they treat you, because they deserve it.
-
Matchmaking has never worked and SBMM has only made it worse. You either find a different game to play or find a way to play this game in a way where the implicit toxicity of everyone doesn't affect you.
