Just turn Legion into a set of survivor cosmetics at this point.
-
If you bought it, you fell for it.
-
If people whine and moan when they lose, direct their gaze to the scoreboard, drop a GG in chat and leave the lobby. You can let them cry on their own -don't have to listen to it.
In-game, you cannot let things like teabagging or grudges affect your mental. This goes for a lot of games much more complex than DbD, but still applies. DbD in the end becomes a game of timers and distances; a large part of being a good player is making good decisions. If you get tilted and decide to chase the clicky flashlight player who wants to turn you into a youtube compilation, you're only hurting yourself.
-
Hard agree. Having to get 3 ranks in a perk just prolongs the grind.
-
You do it for revenge.
-
Just puke on them a little, hit them, then forget them.
-
Aura reading only.
I'd then remove the hatch and find a better mechanic to resolve stalemates. I'd also just remove Ebony morii and make Cypress Morii default.
-
BHVR nerfed Pig not because she was OP or had issues, but because she was a licensed killed that people get their waifu feefees for.
I assume it is more expensive or prohibitive to pump out skins for licensed characters than not. Thus, they had to shift the waifubait to survivors or killers that they could pump skins on.
The less people who play Pig or buy her chapter, the more of that potential demand goes to other, more saleable characters.

Monitor and abuse. Two verbs. Use the verb pronunciation.
"I am going to monitor you and abuse you".
As the Doctor would do to his patients.

Knockout
Brutal Strength

Slapping Deepwound on Traps, Im a cringing at the idea, Please dont.
My personal suggestion would be making his Trap placement easier and less time consuming.
Like a snap-feature that places the trap in good location at a loop instead of having to manually place it and fighting the system.
Deepwound is kind of gross, but I feel like there should be at least some downside for injured survivors stepping in a trap.
For a snap feature? I think that would hurt more than it would help. Unpredictability in trap placement is key for getting use out of them in higher ranks. A snap feature would reduce that; I don't find myself fighting "the system" in placing his traps.
-
You can't sell a game health patch for money like you can a DLC. That's why.
-
"Gen Rush" is just survivors doing their objective as quickly as possible. To think they are being "toxic" or unsportmanlike for playing the game is ridiculous. There is nothing else for them to do on the map besides bones, and bones don't help them escape.
If survivors doing their objective makes the killer think they are "toxic", that is more a complain towards the game itself being ridiculously lopsided and unenjoyable when everyone is actually playing to win.
-
Rank system / pip system is only tangentially related to player skill.
Survivors pip super easily, and most barely "belong" in red ranks.
Different killers have broken emblem systems, and pip differently despite playing the same. Someone DCing or suiciding on hook can black pip you as killer.
-
Diversity of Killer powers is nice. There's a different kind of satisfaction gained from each one. Hitting a close Huntress hatchet is different from a bigbrained Trapper trap catch in-chase. Every killer, when their power actually matters, can feel great.
-
The bloodweb itself is a stupid, grindy gimmick.
Killer addons being limited in quantity makes it hard to play the way you want to play consistently, while excusing stupid balance decisions because "hurrr you can't run iri head every game".
Having to grind for 3 ranks per perk, with a random chance to appear is awful. There should be no perk ranks, just one perk, learned as soon as the teachable is unlocked.
Map offerings should just turn into some sort of weighted map preference system.
-
It's for mildly annoying rank 20 people.
-
Buff Trapper, Buff Wraith, Buff Pig, Buff Clown.
Tweak Spirit, Change Legion (again), Bugfix Nurse, Tweak Ghostface (fix the reveal already).
Give Huntress, Demogorgon, and Freddy an Addon pass.
Edit : Also balance the maps, holy heck. Not just the map designs, but the randomness of each spawn. Sometimes there are a ton of safe pallets or structure chains, sometimes there are huge deadzones. Some central structures are plain stupid. Map balance and consistency will make the game far better and should be a priority more than any killer buffs or nerfs
You can buff Legion as much as you want, they're still going to be hot garbage on Cowshed if the long tractor loops spawn.
-
Change it to be like Thanatophobia. For every injured survivor, reduced skillcheck notification time. All injured = no notification.
-
If someone DC's, then most likely the killer is just going to blackpip or onepip. Might as well hasten the inevitable and save everyone's time.
-
To put Feng Min in as much pain as possible.
-
It always has been. No idea why haddonfiled hasn't been disabled yet.
-
Spine chill speeds up your vaults. It's a perk that helps in a chase through that, and out of the chase by giving information aboht the killer like a pseudo-object of obsession. It is undoubtedly better than Adrenaline due to its reliability.
-
Survivors who heal make me laugh. Instead of a healing perk, bring Iron Will and enjoy all the benefits of of being healthy.
-
I actually think just slapping the Jane and running was a good move, but following the Dwight into the pantry near a Corrupt Intervention-blocked gen was a mistake. You got a really good mindgamr hit on him, but then continued to chase when you cpuld have left him injured, letting the other survivors finish gens in your "core" territory where a 3-gen was possible. I'd say take your free hit on both Jane and Dwight then get back to patrolling gens; no need to commit so soon unless they are very badly positioned.
Buildwise, I think Tinker is ok on Legion once you get everybody injured for sneak attacks. Corrupt Intervention, however, anti-synergizes with Discordance. By blocking all of the generators survivors start on, you make them spread out. This goes against bot Discordance AND Legion's power. It's better if they all start on one gen and give you intel immediately + you can Frenzy on them all. I don't really like Devour on Legion. You could get more value out of something like Thanatophobia.

Cowshed / Torment creek Long Tractor Loops are and always will be silly.
-
Big mental energy is the way to go.
-
Yes, it sucks to play vs.
But then ask, what else does Mikey Myers have that redeems him basekit? He's an m1 killer that needs to stalk to even m1 people.

U mean iron will?
Yeah, the perk that makes people juke me.

Hopefully they bring some parity between his base kit and his addons.

Yeah that's seems to be the case, both map and killer dependent. Thanks for the compliment, trying to do more than most people on the forums than just say "my games were easy/hard take my word for it"
It's also interesting to see that there was an "enthusiasm gap" between killers. Crazy morii blight/ forever freddy player vs some rando billy or trapper who gives up, they must have played different.

I mean, its great, however, it would be great to have a passive 25% since it makes you want to be injured. And also, its a slim increase, I feel that a 25% increase would be great too!
Unyielding is a great combo with Resilience and reduces grunts and whimpers of pain completely. It'd be a needless buff to Resilience, and I really doubt BHVR could pull off a 25% decrease.
-
Nicr work here. It seems like a lot of the results are pretty map dependent, too.
-
The perk is already great. It can speed up your vaults - what else do you want?
-
They aren't viable. If you camp a single survivor on hook, everyone else will pound gens.
Tunneling one person in earnest will get you DS'd and lose the game because you'll have no momentumn, be stunned for 5 secs, and other people pounding gens.
If the survivors choose to be trashcans and not pound gens, well... Is a strat really viable when it relies on the incompetence of your opponents?
-
At least aura aren't broken like they were for the longest time.
-
I don't use moriis because they delete gameplay, but I play like I hate my opponents.
No free unhooks, if I have a hook and a slug I bring my tent - you have to come to me. I have a timer on my phone for Decisive Strike/unbreakable slugs I can tap, and I'm starting to run map offerings just so I don't get sent to Haddonfield(delete that map btw).
Playing survivor is boring because the best thing you can do is hold M1 on a gen, or M1 on the ground.
-
In true BHVR fashion, they're making a couple of 4head obvious good changes that should have been there from the beginning, and then nerfing a useless meme perk even further for no discernable reason.

Strong loops still exist in the game, so in my opinion bloodlust is still needed. I agree with others that if they're going to disable it for the weekend, then give us double blood points while you conduct your experiment.
Bloodlust isn't for strong loops, it's for catching up to survivors who just hold W away from you and keep running. If they've got space to do that, they can reliably waste enough of a killer's time to be effective without even looping.
-
I guess it's time to run Brutal Strength because we're breaking every pallet.
-
I've been on a Plague kick recently. Running Thana / Corrupt Intervention / Whispers / Dying Light - I get everyone sick first, taking free downs when given, and then play with a "no free unhooks" policy while trying to keep a good nest of gens pressured. Generally eating casual survivors or bully squads for breakfast, but suffer when actual smart survivors enter the ring. I'm actually trying to properly beat my rank 2 finish, but Plague does not seem to pip easily due to the hit and run way I play her. Been running into a lot of bad spawns of Cowshed, Wretched Shop, Haddonfield, etc where I feel powerless because survivors know I don't have time to break every safe pallet within reach.

Using bag add ons is the best cause u can place traps all around a place and lead survivors into it during chase :D its also really fun carrying someone on last hook to same location and seeing everyone get trapped trying to take hits xD
My point is that using Trapper without bag addons is so miserable and weak that taking one is borderline mandatory. Leaving only one slot for his "real" addons.
-
Please no. They already break the sound every few months to terrifying effect, Survivors ending up making no noise at all nor footsteps, chase music ranging from being "too quiet" (Killers can actually hear things) to "too loud"(Killers can't hear anything but chase music).
Giving them more sounds to maintain will just make more things break.
-
I agree. Legion, currently, you have to hit a survivor, follow in frenzy, fatigue, catch back up, and then M1. To actually down someone, you end up essentially having to being in striking distance thrice, one of those being the fatigue, such that the survivor ALWAYS is able to get to a good loop before you can finish them
1v1, this is fine because we don't want people using FF to tunnel one person down, but it doesn't make sense that Legion essentialy turns into an M1 Killer as long as everyone is injured, like a worse Plague EVEN IF he uses his power to its fullest. Rewarding him for using the power well would be great.
-
I threw in yellow moriis for the 3 games it took me to get that one. Just for fun.
-
It's a shame that Trapper can only take one real addon, because being able to take the Spring addons could make sabotaging traps take enough time to catch survivors in the act. I don't know why BHVR hasn't updated Trapper after all of these years despite literally everyone complaining that he is unplayable without Bag addons.
You really need to work harder than the survivors while playing Trapper versus anyone with any amount of sense in them. You've got to change up your trap placement enough to catch them unaware, while still covering all the important loops (paradoxically, the survivors will always look to nullify your power where you need it most, like on big loops).
You can use your traps to block off dropped pallets. Other than that, you're going to lose gens, you're going to lose the traps you gave up gens to set, and eventually regress to being an M1 Killer. Trapper is unreliable.
-
Sloppy Butcher. You need everyone injured for Wraith to have any pressure.
Nurses' Calling. You need to stop people from healing and destroying your pressure.
Save the Best for Last. All you do is M1, so M1 better.
Play with your Food. Farm the obsession for stacks and get paid off with wickedly fast chases.
All are good if you aren't running them already.

It's pretty silly that we can't just "give up" after a certain amount of time slugged so you can just move onto the next one.
Slugging isn't an issue when the killer does it to punish grouped up survivors but when you leave a guy on the ground for 4 minutes because you don't want the last guy to get hatch (unless they were a toxic pos), it's incredibly lame for everyone involved.
I'll admit, I've done it as killer but for the most part I've done it because I hate the 4th guy and then I give the slugged guy hatch.
Another random thought: maybe if BHVR would remove hook suiciding this would be less common. I get so tired of my teammates hook suiciding when a game isn't going their way and it would give killers a bit longer to look for that last guy before hatch opens so most of them don't feel compelled to slug.
It's kind of sad that BHVR hasn't figured out a more elegant solution for the Killer 4k. If they want one, they kind of have to slug the 3rd survivor and hunt the 4th otherwise their pip could be a coin toss of who gets to hatch first.
Also, is there really a difference between being slugged and doing gens?

Yeah I understand. I have more than 1000 hours in the game. I'm just surprised to see three so often these days. After being away for months, the game is definitely different. I am seeing a lot of Corrupt, Pop, and Thrilling along with BBQ.
Well, Thrilling Tremors is more of an information perk than a slowdown perk. Lets you know specifically what gens to run to next. The only reason it works as a slowdown perk IMO is that people expect barbeque when they see someone go down, and get off the gen only to have it blocked when you pickup.

dead system.
