The "Don't worry, Gran ... I'm not going to turn into a swamp-tree or be kidnapped by a bunch of cannibals." had me rolling.
The cutscene was kind of random, but it seems like just like her friend, Lisa tempted fate (by drawing a spell and sharing it with someone) and paid for it. ๐คทโโ๏ธ
-
Definitely The Spirit and all 4 members of the Legion.
I don't really know which survivors could become killers other than becoming Legion skins.
Edit: Maybe Feng Min could like transform into a video game character and straight up kill survivors? lol
-
What happened to playing a game just for fun?
Why does everything have to be a statement of some sort?
-
Ngl this is fun.
It's nice seeing positive threads.
Haunted grounds: "If it glows, it goes." - a survivor with inner strength moments before their entire team gets slaughtered.
Inner Strength: Magical locker
"I rubbed some bones, touched myself in a locker and I feel reborn!" ๐
Deliverance: I totally 4%'ed!
Monstrous Shrine: The most OP perk in the game
Fixated: Constipated

The good ol' Pebble at killer's face. He's like "What" lol
I've actually been given hatch multiple times when I did it. So usually I'm the one who's like "what?". Lol
-
Borrowed time: TAKE A HIT FOR ME YOU C-
No Mither: Why would anyone run this perk? Why? Just why?
Urban Evasion: I'm a sneaky snake.
Decisive strike: DOESN'T FEEL GOOD BEING STABBED, NOW DOES IT?
Buckle up: What does this perk do again?
Adrenaline: Wow, the sound of the gates being activated healed up all my wounds ...somehow?
Head on: Peek-a-boo. Nobody expects the Spanish Inquisition!
Edit: changed up Head on a bit.
-
Perfection.
Also can confirm I have accidentally thrown pebbels towards teammates. And whenever I'm doomed, I throw a pebble at the killer's face :3
-
The jumpscares still get me.
A few days ago I had no clue who the killer was until I ran through a Hag's trap. Scared the crap out of me.
-
Head On -> Coming out (of the closet)
"You are ready to show the world who you really are, even if it's at the expense of a kiler's forehead."
Diversion -> Haha pebble go THONK
-
I agree with this. Recently had quite a few of dc's when I played Legion. I'm not even a good killer. I got bullied by a single Claudette today (tbf mm put me in a too high of a bracket).
Also if the killer dc's it should also count as an escape towards the challenges :3

Control- Min, Adam, Hillbilly and Deathslinger.
Possible description- As people we all fight with the idea of control. To control our lives we go through many trials and tribulations, we cut away from things railroad our lives. Those who try to keep us trapped in our fates, people who want to control the path we go down as well as those who who stands between us and retribution.
But as many find out it's when you have the most control over our lives that we begin to lose ourselves in our own desires whether it be our ambition or our own vengeance. What fail to realise is that control is a double-edged sword. When we have complete control we also allow control the corrupting urges that lie within.
Min- One Fading Dream
Deathslinger- Served Cold
Hillbilly- Taste of Light
Adam - A New Life
Oh I really like this!
Very creative ๐
Any idea on the cosmetics for them?
-
Maybe something along the lines of:
Dead By Daylight Archives: Recognition
Featuring: The Nurse, Jeff, Nea and The Deathslinger
-
I'm seeing quite a few names recurring which is interesting. So far Jeff and Nurse are the most popular.
Now how about a general theme?
The previous archives are the following:
Awakening: Trapper & Claudette
Reckoning: Spirit, Jane, David & Doctor
Escalation: Legion (Julie), Huntress, Kate & Dwight
Conviction: Meg, Ace, Hag & Wraith
Which characters could we put together to form 1 general theme and what theme would that be?

You don't have to escape. I was on hook in basement with teammate and last one went out through exit gate and now I have 1/3.
Oh wow, I didn't know that. Also I thought it was a "complete in a single trial" type challenge.
This isn't too bad.
-
I'm probably leaving this challenge for last. Too much RNG. Could take a while to complete.
-
Please revert these changes. Can barely see any auras.
First game I played with these changes and I thought the killer was running Knockout and Third Seal.
They were not. :/
-
I really like this collection!
Heard Jane's linked set would be unlockable with iridescent shards, so I'm really happy I saved up plenty. I'm just hoping it looks as good ingame as in the trailer.
Might buy Feng's head piece and combine it with the Chinese New Year dress. But idk.
-
Hmmm.
I'd probably say Myers', Deathslingers, Onis, Legions and Clowns are overall the nicest.
But there are some killers that either are the nicest players on Earth or like "I'm going to tunnel you to death, facecamp you and BM your corpse". No inbetween.
In this category I'd put:
- Pig: Some let you live if you boop the snoot, others tunnel the person with a RBT on or follow them while crouched so the timer keeps ticking.
- Ghostface: Either throws a teabag party or teabags your corpse until you bleed out.
- Demo: Most fun killer to play against, unless someone gets tunnelled. In my experience tunelling Demos will keep going after that 1 person no matter what. ๐คทโโ๏ธ
- Wraith: Same as Demo.
Edit: spelling
-
By a Demo's sloppy kiss ๐
Jk, probably bleed out so I have the time to reflect on my life.
Otherwise the fastest thing.
-
I actually didn't know this.
Thanks!

I'm expecting the back of the hair to be shaved. There's no way we get a nice Meg outfit without it being sporty, neon, or half-shaved.
I don't think it's (half-)shaved ๐
-
I like the Meg skin a lot.
It's something completely different from her sporty outfits and I didn't expect the dress to look like that based on the description that was leaked.
And to top it off, it's not a bright neon colored outfit. You could look classy and be stealthy :p
-
1. Cheryl / Lisa
She's the first survivor for who I got every perk (of the characters I own) unlocked and to tier 3. So if I want to try new builds she's my go to.
2. Kate
She looks great and is the first character I mained.
3. Nancy
The Stranger Things chapter made me watch the show and I like it.
Also for some reason if I equip head on on her, I nearly always get some great use out of it.
4. Feng
Haha bunny ears go FLOP
5. Jane
Haha buttocks go FLOP
Possibly Nea and/or Meg will soon join this list.
-
"Oh fu-"
-
There's no denying it at this point.
-
Spirit's hatch closing animation
The Head On animation. It looks so funny xp
Demo's window vault
Oni's mori
Oni's kanabo slam when damaging a gen or breaking a wall/pallet in his rage mode.

I wonder how it would work for the locker you teleport to. Would it be a random teleport, or maybe it can ONLY teleport you to one of the basement lockers.
I imagine it would be a random locker that is at least X metres away from you.
Honestly I'd be happy even if the perk is 1 time use and requires like 10 seconds of sitting in a locker. (But allow it in the TR.)
It could be intriguing if it were to teleport you to the basement lockers only. I'd be fine with that too.
Ohhhhh I like that actually. Someone gets hooked in the basement -> basement too far? Lemme just teleport.
You might even be able to confuse a basement Bubba XP

There would need to be some serious requirements for something like that, like it takes 10 seconds of sitting in a locker to work and you cant do it within the killer's TR.
I'd take that.
I would swap out DS for it in my main build. Q&Q + Head On + Inner Strength + this perk ๐๐๐
Edit: spelling

That would just be HELL. Survivors already manage to quick and quiet mid chase into a locker for Head on plays, imagine doing it to just teleport across the map as a way of breaking chase.
Exactly ๐
Haha

Teleportation is something I could see in a killer power, but not in a perk. You're not gonna see a killer like Oni squish into a locker so he can step out of one across the map.
LOL that image is now stuck in my head
Actually, a locker teleport perk could be a fun survivor perk. Probably with the cost of a huge cooldown, 1 time usage or something like that. Combine that perk with Head On and Inner Strength and let the fun begin. xp
-
Survive with friends
Well played
Playing in a way that is deemed "unfun" for the other side. Making the match as unfun as possible for the other side.
-
Meg because she has 3 amazing perks.
David because of Dead Hard
-
I'd rather see DS be turned into an actual anti-tunnel perk than something as niche as Mettle of Man.
Having an obsession in the game is pretty much a requirement to not get tunnelled (intentionally or not) in the majority of the matches. I definitely notice this when there's no obsession.

Yes it is! It's an amazing show, and also on Netflix. Every season and the first half of season 15 is on Netflix. The second half will be airing this fall!
Thanks!
Now I have something new to binge watch ๐๐
-
Is it a good show? (And is it on Netflix? ๐)
I need something new to watch. After finishing The Order I crave some more fantasy type shows with werewolves and stuff.

Sounds great aswell, but my pc is kind of old so I think I preffer playing on PS4 :)
Groetjes terug haha
Fair enough.
Do keep in mind that with crossplay, cross progression will most likely come too. So when that comes, you should be able to continue the progress you've made (and keep the skins you've bought on there), if you wish. Not sure how it exactly works though.
P.S. Ik speel ook op de PS4, dus als je wilt kun je me toevoegen. Username is hetzelfde als op Playstation.
-
Crossplay is set to be coming soon, so I don't know if it's worth it to buy the game again.
Unless you want to play with your friends asap.
...
Groetjes van Belgiรซ, Noorderbuur ๐
-
I play on default settings

Meg looks really beautiful in that image!
Also does Hag have 2 faces? Looks creepy af!

Spirit's Halloween cosmetic

Uhhhh I'm going to guess
- Camaraderie
- Any means necessary
- Zanshin's tactics
- I'm all ears

My favorite DBD YouTubers would probably be.. No0b3, Puppers, Monto, Farmer John and ZubatLEL.
I do watch quite a lot of others, but I usually immediately watch a video of the ones I mentioned whenever it pops up in my subscriptions or recommended.
There are a few channels though that make me roll my eyes or sigh upon seeing either the video title or their channel name.
-
In theory, yes!
But how often does a killer let a No Mither slugged on the ground?
Idk, it's worth the shot though. ๐
-
I'd say survivor main.
I do play killer (Plague, Legion and Spirit), but I just don't find it that fun tbh. I'm way too merciful to effectively play killer, lol.
I nearly always let the last survivor live xp
Also I kept getting matched with players of a much higher rank. I still did well, but I felt like I was at a huge disadvantage considering I barely have any teachables on killers and I don't have a lot of experience on killer.
So I pretty much only play killer when the tomes release, a few hours for a couple of days and then after the tomes I pretty much don't touch 'em for months. ๐คทโโ๏ธ
I do enjoy watching content creators play killers, but meh, it's not really for me.
I get more adrenaline from playing survivor.
-
For survivor I have 2 main builds which are the following:
- Spine chill, Resilience, Dead hard & Iron will
- Quick & Quiet, Inner Strength, Head on & Decisive Strike
I also like to experiment with other perks. I've been trying to make builds around Soul Guard and For the people.
Managed to get some very clutch scenarios with the latter. Sadly many people don't realise they got insta revived and just stand there to be hit down again...
Occasionally I try and find builds that have a lot of synergy or I get some ideas from YouTube.
Builds like Mettle of Man, Breakout, Dead Hard & Inner Strength are fun (when they work), but they require you to change your whole playstyle so I run builds like those less often.
-
Yes. Mostly because one of my friends plays on pc and I can't wait to team up with him.
Been playing solo queue near exclusively in dbd for nearly a year.
I haven't been too bothered by the queue times. I usually find a match within a few minutes.

You act like you didnt see the DS or MoM changes and outrage. To name just 2. Survivors have JUST as many issues with the game. Unfortunately however, they get listened to and dealt with most times. Killers not so much. Freddy took what, 2 years to be touched?
What?
No, I definitely saw the outrage over said 2 perks.
Both survivors and killers have done these immature "protests" where they try to ruin the fun of the opposing side as an attempt to get their point across to the devs and have them revert changes they made. It won't work.
And yes, it's unfortunate killers aren't listened to as much, but why would you take that frustration out on newer players?
Am I wrong in thinking PURPOSEFULLY ruining the fun of newer players and targetting them is not fine?
I'm sorry, but this is just wrong on all levels.
I hope you can see that.
Edit: I'm most likely not returning to this thread because I think purposefully deranking to bully new players "to get a point across" is not okay.
You're free to disagree, it's the Internet after all. Don't be surprised if I won't respond.
-
That could be cool.
Another thought I had was giving certain survivors a legendary skin that's basically the survivor version of a killer. (And maybe vice versa for the Legion? That way we could have Nea as an actual killer ๐).
Do we even know what happens to killers that displease the entity? For all we know it might turn the killer into a survivor for a match and feed on their hope/fear? :p
Also I want survivor Rin and Susie. โบ

What's up with all this furry talk?
The furry fandom is just a subculture that consists of people interested in anthropomorphic characters in media, art etc.
Calling it a fetish is a bit harsh considering about every fandom has its sexual elements and not just the furry fandom.
Now back to FNAF plz.
I wasn't fond of the idea at first, but the more and more videos, concepts I've watched the more I'm on board.
I've previously mentioned it already, but having an animatronic killer would be awesome. It'd allow dbd to explore different kinds of horror elements. Not everyone is scared of the same thing and I know many are scared of animatronics, living dolls etc.
So if Scott and BHVR can come to terms, I'd be excited to see a FNAF chapter in DBD.
