I guess your the chosen one then🤣

The only time something like that happens to me is when they find a key, and camp the hatch until their all there then they escape. But that rarely happens.

Their lurking around the gens or around that area like I said change up your pathing and think like a survivor would. Their hiding right underneath your nose. Some of them take a little long then others to come out of hiding.

he not the chosen one, this stuff happens almost every game with super immersive survivors who literally hide in a bush or locker all game, literally just had a game on midwhich and 4 gens was left with 2 people alive, they decided to hide all game it lasted for more than a half hour and no gens had been touch lol. What am I supposed to do they will hide all game with spinechill, urban evasion and let their team die on hook just so they can stay in their perfect hole to hide in

A correction on your GF info. Spine Chill's maximun range of detection is 36 meters. GF can stalk at a maximum range of 40 meters, meaning they can 99 stalk a survivor without a SC user getting notification anyone is watching. Really good GF players do exactly that -- finding places on the map they can stalk from afar, then popping the full exposed stalk when they catch up to the survivor.

Thanks, I didn’t know that, but with all the line of sight blockers on these maps, you can’t really stalk a survivor with spinechill without either taking a long route to position yourself, or risk exposing yourself trying to avoid line of sight blockers. Honestly I only time I get a good stalk off is when I’m on a map with 2 floor building and stalk out the window or something because survivors never look up lol

  • @WexlerWendigo said:

I think stealth killers are obnoxiously annoying to go against in solo queue, so spine chill should stay as is.

ah yes, survivors with 3rd person POV and full 360 camera control because it is so hard to use your eyes against a stealth killer, either nerf the range or let undetectable counter it. How is it fair the ghost face and Myers can’t stalk because spine chill out range their stalk range and also people who use spinechill usually pair it urban evasion and hide all game while their team on death hook

  • Had a game where I ran from the killer while I was on the gen, when I was running the skill check still there and I wasnt able to hit it while already far away from the gen. Gen still exploded

  • I mean Friday the 13th have that mechanic I don’t see why not.

  • Either reduce the range or let undetectable counter it since it basically make Myers and ghost face have no power and it also have no downsides. Just looking the other way is not easy when trying to avoid being spotted by survivors having a 3rd person pov with a full 360 camera control

  • No, just use your eyes and run sprint burst and spine chill if you can’t be aware of a wraith

  • You ever run spinechill, sprintburst? That counter him hard, just hold w lol and pre drop pallets, his addons are fine as well. Maybe play wraith yourself and learn from better survivors

  • I think it’s fine, if you are having trouble run sprint burst and spinechill and you’ll be ok if you a good survivor

  • Spinechill need nerf, it’s a shame I can’t stalk as Myers and ghost face like ######### their whole power is counter by a noob perk that have no downsides like many other perks

  • new ability poltergeist. She is able to go into phase mode and can only interact with undropped pallets and can drop pallets on survivor to stun them while in phase mode, give her a ultimate aoe ability that can lift survivors and suspend them in The air for like 2 seconds the ability will be easy to avoid and will survivor cannot take damage while in the air. It’s more of a crowd control

  • I’m sorry but every time I hear “no counterplay “ first thing I think of survivor wanting a easy win against every killer.

I know right. I hate how Pig and Myers are invisible beyond 20m, and move at 150% speed.

Especially while pig is crouched. Super fast. She. Is. Speed. Totally can’t see her.

    😒😒😒

Ah yes, at least pig and Myers don’t ring a loud bell while coming out of stealth lul. If that not enough of a warning for you to get off the gens than I don’t know how to help you against wraith. Maybe run windows of opportunity if a m1 only killer is chasing you

  • I think the addon is fine, so what wraith can see your aura he is cloaked and can’t hit you if you have eyes and ears you can hear his loud growls and shimmer. What is even the point of this? Any killer can find you eventually with the right perks I guess pig and Myers are cancer to you as well lul

  • For some reason on Xbox you can message other Xbox survivors as killer during the pregame lobby

  • Don’t prove thyself counter tinkerer and also splitting up on gens counter tinkerer. Also ruin is a hex which can be cleansed

Where did I say that? I told the OP that he shouldn't imply that all survivors want killers nerfed because it isn't true.

Complaining about an aspect of a killer that is unfun ≠ wanting that killer nerfed

I guess every multiplayer game is unfun in sense that snipers can one shot and magic users can kill multiple people at once with their spells, that’s your opinion but I find killer more fun than survivors

  • @indieeden7 said:

A lot of stronger killers aren't disliked due to their strength, it's due to certain aspects of their power that are seen as unfun to play against.

    For example:

Spirit - Gives 0 information as to what she is actually doing while seemingly standing still

Nurse - Ignores every defence survivors have

Old Freddy - Passively ignored certain perks, had both pressure in chase and map pressure

Hag - Traps require survivors to waste time in order to avoid activating them (crouching) and can potentially end a chase due to the camera shift mechanic

    Huntress - Hitboxes

This even applies to weaker killers

Deathslinger - ADS causes survivors to lose distance on killer or get shot, they have to guess what the killer will do

Clown - Forces early pallet drops

Trapper - Survivors can be forced to guess where traps have been placed or disarmed

At the end of the day, very few people want killers to be weak, it's just that a lot of people find certain aspects of killers boring or unfun to play against. This is also completely subjective, someone who loves playing against Nurse might hate playing against Spirit, whereas another person may love playing against Hag but hate playing against Nurse.

Don't push the narrative that all survivors want killers nerfed into the ground because it simply isn't true.

So what your saying if a killer can only m1 and have no power to make them scary?

This is a broadly generalized and exaggerated assessment of many of the complaints that have been made about various killers.

Why do survivors always cry about killers, I know victim blaming is a trend but this is getting corny, I barely be on here but every time I do it’s a survivor main crying about how x killer is unfun and boring or has no counter play.

  • @ChurchofPig said:

My largest thing is the 2 killing add-ons. Those add-ons seem more fair for when he first released. When pallets were every 2 inches, vacuums existed, and whatnot. Now the game is more balanced. Vacuums are gone, pallets are more spread out (on MOST maps) and so many other changes to make it more balanced. With that in mind, it makes these 2 add-ons (especially when he got the stalk off of other survivors and he just had to tap the button to tier 3 off you) seem... a bit much.

Now before someone starts calling me an entitled survivor main, I play both sides a lot and just finished playing a lot of Michael to level him up. I don't think those 2 add-ons (in their current form) should be in the game, AT ALL. They need to do something else.

How is his addons not fair, it take the whole game to even benefit from them, even then ur going to dpip and your score will be very low.Do you also think devour hope or rancor is unfair and outdated lls?

You can still play the game you played for even if not all your matches are fun. DBD is a pvp game and sometimes you'll just have bad games.

You want to implement a feature that many people will opt out of and that will negatively impact people trying to play with friends.

I disagree even Scott said they should implement a feature to avoid swf. I’m pretty sure queue times will not e a problem look at overwatch when they implemented role queue it made the game healthy no more insta locking 4 dps and no tank. It’s 2021 get with the times gramps

  • @TheClownIsKing said:

Honestly, in many cases teams get slaughtered because they don’t play cautiously enough. They don’t respect that the opposition could indeed be a skilled, smart, threat.

However, what I will agree with is that Killers have WAY too much available to them that makes learning how to track and hunt almost redundant. There is way too much aura revealing, and why I use Sole Survivor. Killer Instinct can go die a hot, painful death for all I care.

I’ve lost count of the amount of repeat posts I’ve done teaching killers how to take advantage of the crows. Why? Because most killers don’t know how to, and don’t need to, until they’re actually up against a team that are exceptionally good at stealth.

Of course the double edge sword here is that once proficient at using the information available from crows, in conjunction with perks that freely tell killers where survivors are, survivors will never be able to ever hide anywhere from that type of player ever, which isn’t fair. I genuinely have very little trouble finding survivors, and I don’t even use a lot of those meta tracking perks. I feel sorry for the survivors I’m up against sometimes.

Ikr killer is way too ez, dead hard should be based kit. I feel bad for all the red rank swf I stomp with trickster with only spies from the shadow. /s

Except you're not countering it. You're just spreading the disease. You're not fighting those who wronged you first. You're just trying to wrong someone else.

Make me wish there was a rematch option and re select your killer, wouldn’t be op but it would be fun seeing how scared survivors would accept a rematch on the killer terms.

A small objections, not many maps counter her. If she can set a web around a 3gen it doesn't matter :p

Well any killer can win by 3 gen except legion lol, if anything hag need qol instead of straight up nerfs. She the only killer that is actually scary and they shouldn’t take that away from her

Because Bubba and Blight have consistent counterplay and are actually balanced killers.

Bubba's counterplay: Windows, pallets, and distance

Blight's counterplay: Going behind rocks or large objects, using loops that he can't deal with

Hag's counterplay is dumb and inconsistent, and it slows survivors down heavily. Not everyone brings flashlights, by the way.

Hag also have consistent counter play, just because it’s not a free win it’s not op lul

  • @CLAUDETTEINABUSH said:

Incredible 10/10 rant forum from an entitled survivor main. I, the hag main that I am, accept the challenge of debating you.

    A) Hag has a really weird play style that revolves around her making a web. That means that you can walk around the map, if you have the brain capacity to guess where her web is. And by the way, why walk? To keep your sprint burst? I'm surprised you didn't talk about running. Interesting.

    B) wow, If you step into a trap you get hit! Groundbreaking! So by that logic trapper needs a nerf because if you step into his trap you're stunned.

    C) that's incorrect. The trap is coded in a pretty balanced way: if you step on it and move into its direction or hold w whilst running towards the location of her phantasm due to the camera turning, you'll get hit. But if you trigger the trap and run in the exact opposite direction the hag cannot BY ANY MEANS hit you if she performs the teleport lunge. So that proves two things here: you haven't played hag enough or at all and you don't know how she works.

    D) I actually agree on this one, if you get trapped on hook it's a real 50/50 if your teammates understand that you're trapped. And when they unhook they're in a lose-lose situation: if they run they'll get hit, if they crouch they'll lose a lot of time and the hag might have time to return on hook by that time.

"There is absolutely NOTHING BALANCED about a killer whereby the determining chances of success against them is whether someone in the team happens to have the correct item.

I just don’t get it. How?! HOW?!"

Hag is a strategic killer. In order to easily defeat her you need to harass her web, that means surveil her movements and acting accordingly, something that it's not common on the survivor role. It's true that flashlights are also her weak point, alongside urban evasion, but let's keep em out of equation.

"All she provides is a lopsided experience for the killer using her, and misery, frustration and a sense of pointlessness “why even bother trying...” for the survivors."

I actually agree that her chases can feel one sided sometimes, but it's because of her role as a trapping and methodical killer. If the trapper traps a loop and you step on the trap, I believe that it would also be a one sided chase. What you argue rn is "if a hag plays correctly then the chased will end quickly", no #########! If every killer plays correctly then the chase ends quickly.

"Please, why aren’t more of the community speaking up about Hag’s very real, very big problems?!"

Because they're not big, neither real, sorry bud.

"i’d also like to add that ever since the change to Ruin, it is now an absurdly frustrating perk to deal with when hag runs it."

Hag doesn't even need slowdown, the only slowdown I run is sloppy. So you really haven't played against a lot of hags. I assume you played against a hag and she destroyed you, so you decided to complain in the forums.

"anything that’s either an objective or a loop/vault that’s likely trapped"

NO #########! Where should a killer that traps #########, use their traps?! Randomly on a corn field?!

"She is a stain on DBD. The only positive thing about her is that she isn’t played prolifically for some odd reason."

I disagree. Methodical killers are a good addition in dbd. The reason she's not played it's because swfs destroys her and she needs a lot of game knowledge to use her in her full capacity.

So basically what you're saying is: I can't hold m1 on gens or hold w against this killer pls delete!

What I'm saying is: you need a brain to play against a hag. But I do agree on the hook argument.

I agree, people literally complain about any killer, hag is not even the oppressive, you can easily trigger her traps when she busy , clicking click flashlight, maps, even perks counter her. People complain when a killer take more than a brain cell to adept too just look at wraith posts lol

  • all I hear is wahh hag op traps take more than a brain cell to counter, seriously if you can’t deal with hag I wonder how you deal about bubba and blight lol. Plus you didn’t say nothing about bringing a map so just bring a map if you scared of a barely played killer not like maps are limited

  • @TheClownIsKing said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2229722#Comment_2229722

I constantly think about the Spirit vs Hag comparison.

At least the spirit player has to still be actively participating in tracking in order to appear within striking distance of a survivor.

Hag doesn’t need to bother with any tracking at all during a chase. Just wait until a trap is triggered, and everything is almost automatic. Press teleport, press attack, free hit/down. It is infuriating, and it makes me angry and confused as to why Hag has remained the way she is.

Woah calm down hag is not even that hard to counter, you just need to get better at learning from losses instead of harboring hate for a video game character. You do realize hag traps are easy to spot with the flying magic particles all around it. Ever use object of obsession? Just watch her put down traps and trigger them when she busy making more traps early game. You have infinite maps as well as deja vu for easy counter to hag. What next nerf tier 3 Myers because you got one shot?

If we go for Skill, every Perk should be nerfed, because they all dont need skill. DBD is an easy game in general, not a huge amount of Skill is needed to play it. And equipping Perks certainly does not need Skill.

But I was asking why they want Perks to be nerfed to almost useless - like Balanced Landing is.

But most perks either have a downside or really situational, imagine a killer perk that say press E to taunt the survivor towards you like in moba games with no downsides

  • @Aven_Fallen said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2198012#Comment_2198012

So you like almost useless Perks, eh?

Bringing Perks to BL-Level would mean that they will not be used at all.

Wdym? dead hard is super strong with no downside, it’s basically mettle of man on steroids lol. No way perks should be this strong. It also take no skill as well to press a button lul

  • Micheal is better in my eyes, ghost face got really nothing going for him against any swf or good looper so I think he need some love as well

Yes, I do feel that Blight has overtaken Spirit and Nurse. Blight can land shots without exploits now that are more powerful than the bug fix that they removed. He has the best mobility, best lethality, and has few counters than either spirit or nurse. There's no difference between the lack of counterplay survivors have to a good nurse and survivors have to a good blight.

Blight has lethality that's on par with nurse with much better mobility

Just played against a rank 1 blight last night. I’m only green rank survivor and we was all slugged after 2 gens are done lol. Undying, ruin, bbq, and tinkerer was his perk also.

  • As a noob I didn’t know what was no mither, I hit a David and thought he disappeared turns out he was the floor from no mither he picked his self up and I caught him later from the groaning he made

  • The fact you can’t stalk as Myers and ghostface is dumb. I feel cheap and dirty when I use spine chill against any killer, Just a free big advantage over the killer I can’t never be caught because Survivor is super ez

  • What the point of stalking if you can’t even look at them lol. Spinechill has to much benefits with no downside, this is why I run whispers to counter spinechillers.

  • Survivor perk, one for all: beginning of the match see aura of all survivors for 40/50/60 seconds if a survivor is hooked during the time you gain a token. Unhooking the survivor when the killer is nearby will consume a token and you instantly heal the survivor when unhooking. (To prevent early game snowball) after all token consume the perk deactivate.

killer perk, must die: each time you kill a survivor gain a haste effect (like play with your food but permanent) last survivor location will be revealed to you.

Where if you turn the console on DBD will then fail to start at least 2 times sometimes 3. But it will ALWAYS launch at either 3 or 4 attempts? A patch introduced this I can't remember which one it was like a year now.

It's 100% the game no other game does this. Is this simply never going to get patched.

I’m on Xbox one s, (series x is still unavailable). For some reason it always overheat at the offering screen. No other games does this but dbd. Lag spikes whenever any in game notifications pop up like being exposed or when gen are completed. Thank god I got this game for free on game pass

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/245485/why-do-killer-only-user-hate-stealthy-playstyles

Its just because most of the time the last 2 survivor will hide whitout touching a gen but if it was not of that i think its mostly the other survivor who hate that playstyle

Had a game on midwhich as bubba, 2 people left and 4 gens left, they decided to hide for 30 mins, I used insidious to hear them run by me, I heard crows and found a Meg in the bathroom, proceeded to find the ace bbq don’t really work on small maps so I had to find ace, proceeded to use insidious again to bait him to the hook and killed both of them. Let just say I earned over 100k bp because of them dragging the game forever. I was basically was held hostage by stealthy players to scared to do gens

  • Spirit is not easy I agree, I feel like survivors just complain bout any killer lol, every killer to them is boring and op, only billy is balanced in their eyes and they still don’t like him
