I don't, due to my poor sense of orientation. In fact, I've rarely played killer as of these past few months. I mostly just play SWF with @DocOctober.
Better get started on that river.
If you tell the truth, I apologize in advance. Well, in that case, I wish you luck in playing the survivor. Yes ... I'm sure they'll need them.

Funny how everyone already knows that "rework" means "nerf".
I don't even play Nurse and I'm readying the uninstall button.
Yes, because someone will believe you that you do not play a nurse...
i do not want to offend anyone or anything...
but sooner I will turn the river's direction with a stick.

Ive played billy quite a bit every time i know they are going for a pallet i charge up they will never throw
Yea, this game is all about mindgames and i love it.
-
As a nurse main sometimes i use this addons, if i have many games in a rope with 3-4 dead hards, but this issue we can fixed, just add exhaustion addons for nurse or replace extra blink with them.
-

I don't think extra blinks are OP, especially since Nurse has a real penalty to her missing with blink. Hillbilly doesn't get penalized for missing his saw. He just fires it right back up (unlike Leatherface).
I do not want to offend you or something, but you don't know much about game, if you think extra blink addons are balanced. Real penalty you mean 2,5 second fatigue, when nurse still can tracking survivors and moving slowly, this means in this time survivor can make 10 meters, bc they have 4 m/s, and if surivor is THAT close to nurse, this is like free hit unless nurse is garbage or surivor is GOD tier juker.
-
I don't see in Billy anything OP even with all his stuff, only enduring+spirit fury+charge time addons seems a little bit strong but this is 2 perks, 2 addons and survivors still can counter it, just dropping pallet earlier.
Edit:Billy is hundred miles behind real OP things like Prayers Beads Braclet or extra blink addons. Imo.
-
I level up character to 50 lvl and if i spend all her addons/offering, just make her prestige to not lose this stuff, this is ofc long way, but burning my bloodpoints...this deals damage to my soul.
-
I know that developers are still working on what they are, but these are the things that are the basis. Come on guys...
-
No they, aren't easy...
...and this is my opinion as kiler main
-
I just play 4 omega blinks nurse with ebony mori and survivors dc, pls devs ban these toxic players. Killer main logic lul xDDD
-
I think that Asylum is not better at all.

On release came a lot of bugs, but once the actual bugs were resolved it became clear that the Nurse was actually very overwhelming in terms of game balance. Her kit originally came with 3 blinks at base, 115% movement speed, and her attacks had aim assist when done out of blink. Eventually she would receive nerfs over several patches till she became the Nurse we know today who is still very strong, but able to be outplayed by skilled survivors.
If you want to know more about the early times of perks and the game in general. TydeTyme has been doing a video series about the subject.
No, you're wrong, survivors are very strong but they can be beaten by skilled Nurse, as a Nurse only in your hands is the result of the match.

@noneofyourbusiness Thanks for answering. Had been curious about her release for a while now.
P.s. Have you watched the official Ghostface trailer?
Ofc, it's amaizing.
-
People thought it was even weak because they could not play it and it was the most bugged character, her blinks were not precise as now, teleportation between floors was a tragedy, and the automatic attack was more disturbing than helping. People saying she got huge nerf after one month i think, but overall, fixing maps, her blinks, making her more precise, she got for me buff. She's stronger than in past.

I mean theres a big issue you are failing to see.
1.) Limiting swfs is not the solution nor would behavior ever do that swfs believe it or not swfs are the reason this game is still popular dont believe me go look at the % of survivors vs killers they showed it on a dev stream it proves my point.
2.) Creating a new mode is going to split the community and people dont understand that at the moment the game is not big enough for it yes free week is a thing rn but once its over the game will go right back to 16k as normal.
3.) The problem is not the game forcing you to do anything the problem is powerful things exist and people abuse them.
4.) Im gonna point something out could you imagine taking all the strong things away from one side and ignoring the other and expecting the other to not use powerful things wow you put a lot of trust into one side hate to break it to you but thats not gonna work chief.
1.I do not intend to remove the SWF only to limit it to the mode where everyone will play for fun and they will not destroy the game for people who play it in order to achieve something in it.
2.Normally there are 19 to 20 thousand players in the game. I think it is a sufficient number to divide it into two modes.
3.Yes, it's only true how you create things of high rarity without giving them the right amount of power?
4.I did not think about taking these things only one side only on both sides.

That's the main problems in this game, like unbalanced stuff, maps, bp grind is too easy, swf in competitive mode, majority killers suck against good survivors ect. this game has almost 3 years and i feel like nothing is done yet.

"It was a good idea to lock up SWF playing opportunities in ranked mode"
Again you are aware if you lock swfs people just wont play that mode and while you sit in queue for 12 hours people will just stick with normal play.
Do you think that so few SWF groups will play in casual mode? Or so few solo players will play the survivor?
-
@Blueberry said:
To OP, your idea is actually what I think would be the best idea as well.
I don't like the idea of splitting the player base, but SWF is a serious issue and if there was ever anything that would be worthy of that risk it would be this.
SWF for Casual Que and Solo for Ranked Que.
We could even get lenient and allow a 2 man SWF in Ranked, just keep the 3 or 4 to Casual.
Give a little extra blood point bonus to Casual Que.
People will choose the casual for messing around, practicing new killers/perks and if they just want more bloodpoints. They will choose Ranked when they are ready to try and move up the ladder.
Obviously this entire idea only works if along with all of this they introduce regular rank rewards.
This is the best solution to make everyone happy with SWF imo.
Their current idea of bringing solo's up to SWF level is just a bad idea for a multitude of reasons.
I can not agree with you more, thank you.

"If you think only 3 killers are viable at red ranks then you probably don't deserve to be in red ranks... Most of the killers are viable at red ranks."
If you seriously think this then you have very low played hours or don't play at red ranks yourself. This is obvious to anyone with a good amount of hours and high rank experience.
Therefore, those killers who are not playable on red ranks need a change/buff.
-
@DeadGavin said:
@Sairek If you think only 3 killers are viable at red ranks then you probably don't deserve to be in red ranks... Most of the killers are viable at red ranks.
And as @Hexyl said SWF is a part of the game and we shouldn't discourage people from playing with their friends
How is this change to discourage you from playing SWF? Everything stays the way it is, and when it comes to rank, they should probably count on your skills, where they are not group-dependent, right?
-
@[Deleted User] said:
Only 2, maybe 3 killers out of 15 are viable in high ranks against actual good survivors.
Don't know about anyone else's school, but if I got a 3/15 marks in my school, that would be a giant "fail".
Killers are too slow. They need time that doesn't exist unless the other side literally flaffs about, which good survivors don't do, because skilled people don't run around like headless chickens being inefficient.
Combine the lack of time with multiple passive chase extenders and second chance perks, aaaand yeah.
Knowing that most of the times that you won a match as a killer wasn't because of your skill, but because the survivors were stupid, isn't exactly what I'd call a enriching feeling.
So maybe for the beginning, let's balance those 12 or 13 killers to those 2 or 3?
If they are too slow, why not give them more speed?
In addition, there are still perks that allow them to extend the playing time.
And what do you expect from survivors who know how to play this game. Surrendering and standing under the hook?
As for the killer to have the opportunity to catch the survivor, he must make a mistake, it means that ever core or basic mechanics needs to be reworked.
-
all we need is to stop talking about Nurse, both side's seriously./
-
We're all know how this game is disbalance for surivors, they're too weak, pls buff. Lmao
-
Both sides have OP stuff i think. Only way to win is play OP vs OP.

Personally I think Billy is the most oppressive killer and is much easier to play than Nurse.
Billy is better than Nurse at map control, applying pressure, insta downs, and killing hook divers (both hooked and diver).
Spirit? No comparison to Billy to be honest. Spirit is good but Billy is better. By a large margin actually. And he is like that without Add-ons.
If I hung around at red ranks more maybe I'd be more scared of nurse, but I don't. There aren't many great nurses at lower ranks, but good billies are everywhere. Nurse is pretty easy to Jule at lower ranks but Billy just decimates your team in a minute.
You must remember that for one nurse who know really how play her, there are nine who don't know or play her from time to time.
-
@Eninya said:
Hillbilly is the best killer. Nurse is only better in the most fringe of scenarios.
Spirit is like Hillbilly 0.5, since he's more effective at almost everything they do. Outside of Yakuyoke Amulet (pretty OP), and stacking Dirty Uwabiki (considerable phase movement speed) with Mother-Daughter Ring (ultra rare, tremendous phase movement speed), she's pretty skill-based. I would say she's the melee version of Huntress.
Spirit's biggest downfall is that she is bound by an inconsistent/buggy audio system, whereas Huntress works on visual, which will never been incorrectly represented when you're the killer/host of the match. Imo, Huntress is much more reliable, even if you're a mediocre player.
"Nurse is only better in the most fringe of scenarios" you mean every single match in this game? if yes i can agree with you lmao
-
As a person who spend several hundred hours with a nurse, the only thing difficult for her is lose the match lmao.
-
As a nurse main (everyone know it xD)
Yep. That's true.
1.The nurse sees the survivors, the Sprit does not.
2.Sprit has huge cooldown, nurse just have little fatigue, and she still track survivor's during fatigue.
3.Sprit can use its power only when it is full.
4.Nurse is flying over objects, spirit does not.
I do not know if the question is more difficult is good, or is simply weaker than the nurse, but in achieving good results is more difficult, much.
Edit:But logically speaking, why do you have to play Spirit if you can play Nurse xD?(PC ofc)
-
It seems to me that we have everything we wanted to know. Until the game changes, the nurse too. Nerfing her would also kill the game. Most killers would leave the game.

Stop twisting what I said. It's very simple actually.
A. Nurse is FINE!

C. Nurse requires most skill. Skilled Nurse rightfully overpowers the game!

A. Yes.
B. Let something happen with the survivors first.

@noneofyourbusiness that used to annoy the absolute hell out of me. It was sooo unbearable. But, if you adapt to it, (I managed to by strictly playing her base only) it's quite a small inconvenience. If you are good at chaining hits with the phase quickly, the cooldown is irrelevant.
Most the time, the 5 second duration is more than enough to get a hit and I usually have about 3/4 of the bar to fill (11.25 seconds) but sometimes have half of the bar to fill (7.5 seconds). And it's quite easy. Sometimes, I get a hit, phase and a down within like 7 seconds. Her chasing is insanely strong and undoubtedly the best in the whole of DBD.
But yeah, you might need practice if the cooldown gets to you. No offense obviously, I think you're an awesome player but you should try practicing Spirit if the cooldown is the problem. Also, can you imagine Spirit with no cooldown? She would literally be the single best killer in the whole game.
Idk, I might just be used to it, but try adapting to it. You'll find Spirit is basically almost as good as Nurse once you get used to it. I used to have the same issue, it's just a matter of practice.
I do not know, maybe it's a matter of the fact that without this power, she is an ordinary killer with 110% speed of movement. The nurse does not have this problem. It is more convenient to play in my opinion. I do not think she's weak at all. Imo top tier killer still.
As you said, you have to get used to the fact that you need to "respected" her power, so to speak. You can not waste it, which sometimes happens to me.

@gantes why are you even bothering to still discuss with @treemanXD?
its so obvious hes trolling i mean lets be for real ..
"It is much easier to juke a good nurse compared to good Spirit players." LOL
everyone knows that nurse is OP besides devs and some guys pretending shes not because theyre a) console players b) dont want to get her nerfed
Devs also didnt know old flashlights were OP. Mccote had to get bullied by them (chinese livestream) until they realized okay .. thats actually ridiculous. I think Devs had too play against a god nurse and see how they cant do anything and they would nerf nurse in 1 week just like old purple flashlights.
but it is how it is, deal with it nobody gonna touch my lovely sally and its fun to completely dominant the game <3 i love it and i absolutely love the game.
for real - keep the good work up bhvr and first buff freddy .. and than other killers and maybe in like 2 years we can look at nurse =)
Wait because I do not understand something, you play a nurse, you say she is op, and you're happy that it is. It's like you want a nerf for her, which is bad for you xD
I've dealt with it myself a long time ago, starting to play her, it's the only way. Dev's will not nerf her, I do not think so. The fact that the game dominates, of course, it should probably be the killer's role I think? I love it too. There will never be another kiler on her level, because of her mechanics, simple.

@noneofyourbusiness yeah, when I reached rank 3 last season, it was just continuous SWF. I stomped them with Spirit though :P
I love the spirit too, but these renewing powers will kill her for me. The nurse here wins :/ And that you can not use it when it is not fully loaded. It hurts very much.

@noneofyourbusiness I’d be fine with her having the extra blink add on if it was ultra-rare.
But like i said before Cheat with Friend need to go and every aspect of surivor's like, perks balance, stacking perks, maps need's to be balanced (look Thompson's House, Lery's ect.), gen rush. Then we can do it. #itwillneverhappen

If we change her extra blinks, for example, to add-ons to counter dead hard(exhaustion addons) and only one addon Ultra Rare will be give extra blink, then I think it will be fair.

@noneofyourbusiness as Nurse, I highly doubt it. I haven't played her in 7 months and I'm probably rusty. Looking at ur skill from that picture alone, I honestly think ur just better than me overall. Because that is an insanely good stomp to the SWF.

What? I said her add ons (extra blinks and range) needed looked at, doesn’t mean the people using it are bad.
Okay, I understand. Recently I played a game against similar team, without addons. And I was destroyed. 4 DH, then adrenaline, and when Adam was in front of the gate and I had it ... Mettle of man.
These addons are very powerful, but the survivors are not far behind them.
Against team like this have chance extra blink nurse or silent spirit. No one else has a chance with them.
So nerfing them you want to give survivors immortality? That's pretty good idea.
