I guess we'll see very soon what they're doing with it. This new animation rework doesn't include a new animation for totems, but I thibk it was written somewhere that this was 1st of many graphical reworks, so I assume more new animations are about to come.

Hmmm I don't know the names for these perks since I am not English so I don't remember them buuut, I enjoy running these 3 perks:
The one that shows you chests (not that I wouldn't know where they often spawn, but items from chest often are purple)
The one that notifies you when you're near a totem (it can be a wasted slot but it really helps during endgame of killer has NOED.
That perk that allows you to heal in a locker (works well with the perk mentioned above).
4th perk slot is just anything you'd like...sprint burst, kindred etc...

I usually buy the DLC from PS store but only if I know that I will be playing that certain killer or survivor. With this chapter I'm not sure if I'll enjoy playing Blight or even if he's going to be bearable on PS4 because of the framerates...
So cheaper or nah, I'm buying probably only Felix. Did the same with Piramidhead, Pig and Spirit.

I think that these Blight and Felix skins, and skins for the upcoming weeks always come with the patch during the release, so next Tuesday or Wednesday 😊. I don't remember seeing a character's outfits before official release

It depends when I play. I play on some EU servers, so in the morning I turn off Crossplay cause I get instantly a lobby with survivors a a killer. But aftermoon amd evenings I have To turn on Crossplay unless I'd be waiting for 5+ mins for a match (as survivor killer is instant at tis mentioned day time).
I prefer playing with PS4 players only though. If I turn on crossplay I am matched with (probably) just PC players considering their names. And for some reason I'm matched with a lot of Russians. Crossplay killers aren't my favorite thing either, I ALWAYS end up facing someone eho tunnels so bad, or plays Canibal, One-shot Huntress or Freddy 🤷🏻♂

I didn't eve know a killer can get stuck in it too....I personally got sruck it it like 4 times by accident (me completely forgetting there's a glitch) + usually when trying to avoid Killer's eye sight but oh well...
Killers always downed me and dragged me out of here with no problems, some are even nice amd drop me on the ground and let me be...I do the same when I play killer...unless I do some Meh challenge

It's so easy to detect a PC player...they love to tunnel so much 😂. Like really...I haven't experienced so many tunneling killers since I turned on cross play

Depends if you want to buy a character because of their perks or because of their looks/story etc...
I own all of them except of Adam. Actually I don't even use any of their perks (yeah, sometimes I use head on and sometimes lithe when doing some challenges).
So character/skin vise I like Kate the most, she has some nice customization options and the shard ones are pretty cool too. Sometimes I switch to Jane cause not everyone plays as her (but customization wise, she has quite a few outifts and most of them require real money).
PS: Both Kate and Jane already were in previous tomes, so maybe Feng is next -> would be better to get her in order to have her ready for some challenges and get some customization items from her tome as well.

Well it's probably back because the theme was replaced by the 4th anniversary theme, but since celebrations are over, the Silent Hill theme got back. (I think after each new DLC the new theme stays activie till next DLC).

Of course, I'm being at home for two weeks now...so...what I do is play a way more. I should start doing some school stuff though, yikes 😂

There are always cosmetics for them. And there are always cosmetics added for other characters too, they're just not being sold yet.

Why it would tear up PS controller? I have the same controller for 5 years, I play basically daily and it's still fictional like brand new 🤷🏻♂😁.

Don't know what's toxic or not. But I don't mind Moris in general. If I had a good much Mori me whenever you want me to. It's just bit meh if someone downs me, hooks me, tunnels me, moris me in first...I dunno 2 minutes? -> that's not worth my waiting time in a lobby for at least 10 minutes.
But the answer is nope, not toxic. I even took a pictures of me being moried sometimes! I used them as a background pics on my ps4 home menu 😉😁

It's annoying as hell, and I'm survivor main so I just can't understand how someone can play like this - kids maybe 🤷🏻♂.
But I also play killer - rarely but I do and this happened to me too. And it was even before challenges were introduced so no one can whine and said "I needed and escape challenge".
I even wanted to open the gates by myself - but I Couldn't, so I'd like an option to opne the gates whenever I want. OOR...if survivors don't touch a gen in 3 minutes or so...they could be revealed to you- that would be pretty fair...you do nothing to escape so...just hiding somewhere is an idiotic strategy, you're not wasting your time but even the killer's.

I personally wouldn't even try to do this challenge cause it's simply not fun and by itself is very dumb. But since I have to complete this one in order to be able to do the 2 challenges for Jane...yeah...I have to complete this one.

Youtube, brush my teeth (floss and use mouthwash - when I return I'm still waiting), do the dishes, make myself a coffee and eat breakfast.
What I tend to do lately is to do a quick workout...squats, dumbbell lifting, situps...

It can be caused also by the fact that survivors have more challenges to do? I got killer ones fairly quickly. But the quetimes have been meh for...year to me

That's quite interesting, I used to play the Clown quite a lot but then soon he became quite less interesting to use. The plain bottles are just quite boring to use so something that would refresh his powers would be nice.
But yeah, he's too big, he'd barely fit into a locker 😁 so I can't see this happening, even though I thought of a killer who'd be using lockers to teleport across the map.

I enjoyed these 2 weeks of no one doing these challenges that force everyone to play not normally, it ruins the game experience for me...oh well...here we go again 🤷🏼♂

Well since yesterday I have no problem joining a lobby (solo survivor) it can be less than 5 minutes for me now 🤨

Bad matchmaking times and me not having much time to play DBD 24/7 I chose not to buy the rift. And I can't be more happy, nothing in the pass excited me to buy it so I just skipped this one and rather played Apex Legends (even though I'm quite sure I played DBD more - and I even reached lvl 110 at Apex, in DBD I'm stuck at 50 - but I did just survivor challenges, and killer ones in tome 1).

Who knows, there's currently a January sale going on PS4 store but no DBD content. There are usually more games/sales added through the January so I suggest waiting a bit longer.
The DBD sales are on the store quite often. Just don't expect the last chapter being on sale now.

I'd actually love that. Yui's scream while being hooked so pitched so it hurts my ears and for example Jane's moaning is like...sexual moaning...During summer when I have windows wide opened my neighbors must think I'm watching porn 24/7.

Well I'm rank 3 and I did it at 2nd attempt, and even one survivor disconnected even before one gen was done. But yeah, it can be tough.
Personally I have problems with 4 pallets stun in one game challenge. That's more tough in my opinion, cause I often get his before I even drop the pallet and even if I manage ti stun the killer it's nit 4 times in one game.

Well...it's hard to finish the rift when the matchmaking takes forever. Funny is...I never had problem with finishing Fortnite Battlepass and currently I am not having problem finishing Apex Battle pass (lvl 89 currently - and I don't even play it as much as DBD).

These challenges will definitely ruin the entire experience of this game. I've played 10 games so far and I can tell the gamestyle of both sides feel different. Killers play somewhat more aggressive and survivors more dumb.
I am not actually paying much attention to the challenges, I've managed to do few without even focusing on doing them (except opening 3 chests in a single game, which wasn't that hard since I am used to using P.Instincts). But other than that, I just play normally, and he way I am used to. But if games will keep on being less fun I'll just have to stop playing cause challenges and battlepass just aren't well suited for this game....BP can work with Apex or Fortnine where you're facing TON of players so doing challenges can be done while playing normally...but not in DBD

I don't consider this event as a Halloween one. I mean...this entire game could be Halloween themed since you're hunting down someone all year long with creepy killer costumes so...it's just an event happening near Halloween, if they move the release date I honestly do not care. Yeah...if there's going to be Christmas event with Christmas lights after new years day, yeah, that's going tobe weird.

I honestly don't like BttlePasses, cause everything you get from them will always have the other players too -> so you (or me personally) won't feel 'special' when owning the skin, item or whatever. I don't know, when I played Fortnite or now am playing Apex the skins from these passes always feel meh cause everyone has them - that's why I don't buy these passes, I play DBD because I enjoy playing the game, I enjoyed it even when survivors had only their base outfits, soo yeah....I rather play, earn shards and buy myself some outfit or eventually buy an outfit for auric cells.
And to the casual players...I can play DBD for like hour or two a day which is fine to me, BUT during this time I can play like 3 matches because why? BECAUSE THE GOD DAMN MATCHMAKING!!! I'm just literally waiting for a match right now...- 10minutes passed and still no game found...THANK U SO MUCH for forcing players play a game during which they die by waiting

This fix didn't fix the thing I've been having the past week...trying to play as a survivor. Trying to join a lobby -> NAP type can't connect to the party error (and then I cannot do anything cause the game keeps looking for a game but it won't find any and I also can't cancel this game search so I always have to restart the game...).

I played Demo few times today (ps4) and he's just so frustrating to play, but you're right with the ffps. I always end up losing a survivor during a chase (doesn't happen with other killers). I kinda like the idea of his teleports and such but...I suck playing as him so bad.
The survivor thing...I'm glad I'm not the only one being freezed in the lobby ☹️. It's nice they're letting new players try the game for free...but how the hell they will keeo playing the game if they basically can't ?!

Yup, it was changed on PS4 too 🧐. It seems they added new hair textures to everyone, just poor Rin looks weird

Yeah, I noticed more new players on PS4 too. Both killers and survivors. They often stick to playing Huntress (dunno why).
At the survivor side...damn...having perk BOND really hurts now, cause I can see all the survivors doing nothing 😁. Crouch walking all the time, being hidden behind some object for a long time or not even trying to unhook me.

I think this "creature" is known in many countries in Europe, not just in mine (Czech republic).
So the origin of this noon demon (usually portrait as an old lady in old damaged clothes - but I also heard she is somewhere portrait as a young woman so I guess it is up to the region where we live) is that she basically guards fields and crops during the hot midday summers and if she catches a worker on the field she will chop his head off with her scythe/or curse him with a heatstroke. (Kids are often being scared with this demon, because during summer kids want to play outside and their mothers want them home by noon - to have some lunch - so if the kids stay out they'll be kidnapped by this old lady).

I don't know about you guys, but playing survivor isn't that bad but when it comes to killer I can't see a thing. I'm used to playing killer, I'm not saying I'm great, but I always used to be good (2-3 kills a game).But now I am ending up chasing survivors and soon I just lost them cause now they are perfectly blending with everything (and even survivors are avare of this cause I keep on seeing all characters just squating down in bushes - if I even notice them)
