Can we get a client side setting that mutes our screams as a survivor?
Like in the settings menu, we can choose to mute our own screams on our side of the game - so you’re still screaming loud and clear for everyone else but it’s nice and quiet for you?
I only ask because when you play this game often, people in your home (and maybe even yourself) might get annoyed at the screaming. Sure, Calm Spirit exists but I don’t think it’s necessary to use a perk slot on something that could be a qol and accessible change. AND there’s no way to use this setting as a competitive advantage because it’s client side only and if you’re playing the game, you know when you get hit.

I'd actually love that. Yui's scream while being hooked so pitched so it hurts my ears and for example Jane's moaning is like...sexual moaning...During summer when I have windows wide opened my neighbors must think I'm watching porn 24/7.

This is exactly why I hate the Doctor. lol. And yes, I bring Calm Spirt, but I still have to hear everyone else for the entire match.
It's not a bad suggestion and I dont see why it couldn't be done.
I would advise get a good set of headphones though instead as its night and day with how much a good set can help you in game.
I'd love to not have to hear hooked screams anymore.
